4121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there any project that main on decentralized derivatives? on: November 20, 2020, 08:13:17 AM
Try Synthetix-based derivatives exchange such as Kwenta. You can view the list at https://www.synthetix.io/.

Not sure about the volume though, probably not as good as you expected. DEX-based derivative exchange in general is still behind spot market.
4122  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what you think about bitcoin/bch/paypal does paypal cheating on: November 20, 2020, 07:28:45 AM
The only thing that I don't understand from their terms is this.
Quote
You currently are NOT able to send Crypto Assets to family or friends, use Crypto Assets to pay for goods or services, or withdraw Crypto Assets from your Cryptocurrencies Hub to an external cryptocurrency wallet. If you want to withdraw the value from your Cryptocurrencies Hub you will need to sell your Crypto Assets and withdraw the cash proceeds from their sale.
Isn't it self-explanatory looking from their text?
Users who use their services can't use crypto assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, anything that they supported) to pay for transactions or withdraw it to their own wallet. Basically, you can't use Bitcoin to pay for your cloud subscription or withdraw it from their Paypal balances to a Bitcoin wallet like Electrum, etc.
4123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to securely store your Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 07:17:30 AM
Also, I do not see any reason for metamask wallet or DeFi to be included if truly you want the article to fit into this board.
To be fair, the article more or less explains that MetaMask and other web wallets are not reliable when it comes to protecting your funds. But the overall direction of the article is just describing which hardware wallet is good for newbies.

I've found a lot of articles like this, not one of them (at least I don't find it yet) deep dive into the steps of securing the backup, and so on. The main goal is probably trying to get a good SEO score so they can show up on Google search list.

4125  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [Guide] Cara Install Live OS di Flashdisk (Khusus Wallet) on: November 19, 2020, 06:02:37 PM
4126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 25k new Bitcoin addresses in 1 hour on: November 19, 2020, 02:51:18 PM
This is not an indicator that we expect a new influx of traders.Look at the charts for searching for bitcoin in google.
I also don't think that the search trend is accurate, at least it has a huge margin of error. For example, someone who types "bitcoin" probably wants to find the recent price, not necessarily a new user who wants to buy or join the community. Exchange users could be a better data source but it's not easily accessible.
4127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 19, 2020, 01:20:11 PM
9 Inter Milan players positive Covid-19
Skriniar, Gagliardini, Ashley Young,  Nainggolan, Bastoni, Hakimi, Padelli, Kolarov and Brozovic.
I wonder how on earth Seria A still continues. The reported cases of COVID seem higher compared to other leagues, not to mention they already allow fans to be present at the stadium right? Well, hopefully, it won't get any worse than this.
4128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to buy bitcoin anonymously on: November 19, 2020, 01:07:35 PM
Another option is using Mycelium wallet trading account. Mycelium is a Bitcoin wallet available only for mobile devices. It does not ask you to register or complete KYC. You can use it to swap altcoin for BTC.
AFAIK Mycelium is using Changelly as its exchange service, so expect KYC cards to be available. I'd not use them if I need to trade a large number of coins. Not to mention there are several reports/posts about Changelly being unreliable here and there. At least OP should check them out first.
4129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: November 19, 2020, 09:18:07 AM
You can easily transfer your amount while the person is in front of you. There is no risk in this method.
There is always a risk regardless of the method. For example, you need to remember to check the tx confirmation. Making a deal with 0-confirmation tx is risky even if you meet offline. And choose the place and time you make a deal wisely.
4130  Economy / Exchanges / Re: withdraw Bitcoin to neteller usd? on: November 19, 2020, 09:01:56 AM
You mean you want to sell on Neteller and then withdraw in USD? Looks like they support it: https://www.neteller.com/en/features/cryptocurrency.

But as far as I know, the Bitcoin/crypto sold on the market are just price contracts, you don't actually own anything. Like E-toro or IQ Option.

https://superuser.com/questions/809379/how-to-to-boot-linux-from-external-usb-ssd-drive-attached-to-windows-7-machine

My gut tells me I can't afford the Model T, and whilst the Nano X is only £100 it's still very expensive whilst I'm dabbling my feet in crypto. So is there a good comparison source for the One and Nano S that is trusted?
IMO the Nano X is only worth it if you plan to hold multiple coins and need to move around a lot, which means flexibility is really important for you. If that's not the case, and you only plan to hold Bitcoin and some alts, Nano S is still reliable. I'm using it since 2017 and so far it's great.
4133  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: ELECTRUM - BITCOIN WALLET on: November 19, 2020, 05:47:35 AM
Update yang paling baru sepertinya paling berpengaruh buat user Mac. Apakah berarti di Big Sur udah ga ngecrash" lagi om?

Belum apa" udah banyak situs third-party yang ngelist appnya btw. Seperti yang disebutin di atas, mending source kaya gini dihindari meskipun agan sering make buat download app (e.g. Softpedia).
4134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [General] How to earn Bitcoins on: November 18, 2020, 03:54:00 PM
how to work.
What do you mean how to work?
I suggest reading pinned threads as you will find nearly all that you need to start from here. For example, something like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1689727.0.
In fact, did you read the opening post yet? You should at least have a rough idea of how you can earn Bitcoin from doing a signature campaign and other stuff like that.
4135  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: ELECTRUM - BITCOIN WALLET on: November 18, 2020, 03:37:05 PM
Yang dimaksud versi 4 sama 3 itu 4.0.4 sama 4.0.3 atau base 4 dengan 3.3.8 ya? Soalnya seingat ane sejak 4.0.1 settingan feenya emang udah berubah (CMIIW).

4136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, Altcoins, DeFi and what's next? on: November 18, 2020, 03:28:58 PM
especially since Uniswap has already started how DEX can be successful when DEFI experiences Fomo now,
I guarantee DEX will be the next Hype.
On what basis? CEXs are starting to copy what those DEXes did, and I bet most traders still look for liquidity with low cost for trading.

I honestly hope the next bull run will be fueled by utilities and fundamental usages instead of hype.
4137  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 18, 2020, 03:21:08 PM
i will give $500 for help, and i withdraw the remain $3100
Be careful, scammers are probably trying to scam you for this. There's no way others can help except maybe pointing where you should upload documents and what kind of document you should upload for the KYC (and the support is probably enough to do that). Also be careful if somebody is trying to sell some documents for fake verification.
4138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Now or wait? on: November 18, 2020, 11:34:32 AM
Just to confirm, I am working by the "only invest what you can afford to lose" rule as well.
I second the opinion about DCA. I think that strategy is better for you, especially if you plan to invest for the long-term and believe that BTC has a good fundamental value. For example, buy $100 worth of Bitcoin every month regardless of its current price and then plan your exit after 3 years or so.

Since you already said that you can afford to lose all of your money, don't forget that the risk of a massive dump is also big. Don't let your emotion ruins your plan.
4139  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Daftar block explorer Bitcoin yang berguna on: November 18, 2020, 11:06:54 AM
4140  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Daftar block explorer Bitcoin yang berguna on: November 18, 2020, 08:28:06 AM
