In my opinion. i don't think the lawsuit will affect the XRP token because the team behind the project has made a huge stand that 70% of Ripple market is outside the united states and the worst the FD can do to ripple is to stop them from operating in the us markets. Ripple controlled a huge part of the asian and european market. Also usability and usecase of ripple can be seen at those markets like there are outlets in Asia and europe that supports use of ripple to buy and sell on their platform. i doubt if the use market will have any impact on ripple.
Lawsuit did affect XRP price and it had come down to I guess 0.2$ but I think there is some kind of settlement going on behind the doors that is why it is again gaining momentum and price again climbed to $1.44. Crypto space of full of surprises. You never know what happens tomorrow with the price sometimes it becomes hard to find any logical justification behind Price increase/decrease.  |

Absolutely right. Digital money is transferred faster and no third party is involved that is why transaction fee is much less than transfer through Traditional banking system. Digital money specially Bitcoin is Anti inflationary because its supply is limited unlike Fiat money that can be printed as much as the Central Banks want. Mass adaption is taking place worldwide specially developed economies. developing countries will also adapt it gradually. |

DeFi is still more like a failed experiment, 80% of DeFi projects are unreliable, they have weak security and they are more hack friendly, they claim to be decentralized but instead they aren't showing any decentralized motives, the only DeFi projects I trust are not up to five and I choose those DeFi projects because they are more than just DeFi like many new DeFi projects so far, I don't care much about where DeFi is headed, I'm just going to keep picking the good eggs out from the bad eggs, hopeful in future DeFi projects will actually become fully decentralized and more secured
Very True, there are lot of scams in DEFIs but there are many Legit projects like PANCAKESWAP and JULSWAP and many more where Investors have booked passive as well as capital appreciation benefits so we need to be vigilant and good in Cherry picking. DEFI is new form of Industry in crypto space and has successfully attracted Billions of Dollars during the past one year. I think this industry will survive though profitability may decline but still they will continue rewarding their Investors better than conventional Banks. |

Similar to the recent subject about when should we start to measure BTC's price because of course, one of the very first transactions to buy two pizzas for 10k bitcoin might not be as representative as prices a few months down the road when larger numbers of trades are allowed and even locations for conducting such trades become more common.. so in that regard, there is a kind of product of the number of transactions and maybe the passage of time, and I do have some troubles gravitating on any price analysis that uses 2010 data because it seems so sporadic.. but it seems by the time that we are getting to 2011, even if the BTC price discovery is relatively immature, it seems fair enough to start to use that data rather than waiting for 2013 or some further down the road date - at least in my thinking.
I'd agree. I think that, barring contrary evidence, that is perfectly fine to consider as the seminal event in the price discovery for Bitcoin. I've always been wary of wanting to throw out data because it doesn't fit a narrative. When JJG drops baby talk, agreeing becomes easier. Hahahaha I will take this petition based on an assertion of cause and effect into consideration.... of course, no guarantees... because sometimes certain ways of expressing ideas brings funzies. By the way, I doubt that either Richy_T or I are disagreeing for the mere sake of it. Not completely sure because I consider some of Richy_T's Bigblocker ideas to be a bit ridiculous and maybe even deserving of some baby talk to ridicule those talking points more, but if Richy_T and I were to be talking about some more narrow point issue that might be more purely just about BTC in terms of how to measure BTC's price performance, then we might end up coming to very similar conclusions - but if we were to go into details and then start talking about the extent to which the altcoin market has affected BTC's price performance, for example, then we might end up getting into combative territories again.. So I have my doubts about whether the employment or non-employment of "baby talk" should be considered as materially and substantively significant in the whole scheme of things, and if some peeps are having trouble identifying some important, substantive and/or material points because they are getting distracted by word choice (or perhaps tone) then they mights be too sensitive to the varying meandering ways of the interwebs, including some proddings that might seem to go overboard from time to time... or maybe even some annoying patterns that might come out (I surely get sick of myself, so I am not too surprised that others might, too).Chartbuddy is currently under contemplation.
