We need BTC in all these old ass terminals so people in 3rd world countries where they have old phones can access BTC.

Bitcoin makes an attractive medium to a terrorist...and there is no way it can be stopped.
Yes it can. Police will start selling weapons themselves to catch the people buying them. You always have to give an address where you want the stuff being bought so.

i think btc will be most valuable when its close to the 21 millionth coin being mined.
That will be after 130 years. You are free to wait for that long ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Most of you seem to not know how this works. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FQS4doDk.png&t=663&c=Gc2b_wmNc1E20A) As you can see here, in 10 years most of the coins will have been mined already, from 2025 to 2140 or something, the mined coins will be minimum, which means, if btc is still around and adoption happened, 1 BTC should be really fucking high, theres no other way for BTC to survive. So yeah, im holding, what else I have to lose? I havent got many BTC anyway.

Every person that goes through this is a person that potentially will not be bothered to use BTC again..

Here's my question: When im using Bitcoin-qt in windows 7, I get all kinds of "blocked ip" messages coming from MBAM (Malwarebytes Anti Malware).
Are these false positives or are they bad ip's and should I block them?

MAID, because it will be more important than bitcoin.

I think nordic countries are a result of eugenics. Why they have to be all good looking and tall?
The tall part comes from less sunlight. They stay inside a lot more because of the cold weather. Wrong. The people there are used to the cold. They go out a lot all year round. My last time in Norway was in April, there was still some snow and yet on Oslo's waterfront, I've seen people enjoying drinks several restaurants' terraces. That was at night, on a weekday. Yeah I was going to say that. People go out normally there so I dont see the analogy.

wow.. it is amazing the continuous stream of DRAMA the bitcoin world offers.. so entertaining
Yes, even if Bitcoin fails you'll still have a lot of stories to tell when you're a grandpa. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Although Karpales seems to be a really shady character, I don't believe that he is DPR until further proof. This is more entertaining than all soap operas combined. Whats next, Satoshi being NSA? oh yeah that is already old.

Traditional cash is always handy and it is called black money as well as there is no record of any transaction while there is in case of using bitcoins. However, bitcoin price always keeps fluctuating and I fear that in the near future it may not hold any value compared to traditional cash.
Well I really really doubt bitcoin is ever going to go below 1 dollar.

I went and got new PC how would i put linux on it?
You will need either a blank DVD or a USB drive you can erase. Head over to ubuntu.com and download it - huge file, will take a VERY long time. There are instructions on the site on how to make a bootable DVD or USB stick and make it work - should be pretty basic. When you boot from the DVD/USB, make sure you "Try Ubuntu without installing" first, since installing will overwrite Windows permanently! (Yes, this is not technically true, but I'm trying to make this as easy as possible) Make sure most basic things work - you should be able to open firefox and browse bitcoin talk at least. If you're satisfied it will work, go ahead and install. It'll take about 20 minutes. If you need tech support for it, you can always write me (or BtcBoss, I would imagine). Just know what you're getting into before you do it! Also, my condolences. Yeah, you can write me if got any question or any problem with linux ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Use linux is a nice solution but can be hard the first days, after some time you will love it. Its very easy to use if you use something like Ubuntu.

Last few weeks the price follows a perfect fractal movement, it's insane. I traded on this behavior and made profit.
Why does it behave like this?
Do we really live in a simulated universe like some people suggest?
Price needs to find its natural balance given supply and demand and current mining rewards.

It depends on where you are, but the easiest way in the U.S. is:
1. Choose a wallet from bitcoin.org and install it. 2. Go to coinbase.com or circle.com and buy bitcoins using your bank account or credit card, or go to localbitcoins.com to buy with cash. 3. Transfer the bitcoins to your wallet.
Even easier: Get a wallet in blockchain.info. Software wallets are annoying as fuck.

Right now Bitcoin has bad case of the Measles: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fprevious.presstv.ir%2Fphoto%2F20111203%2Fmortazavi20111203071415873.jpg&t=663&c=Xl-6qZxobPY2ow) Just need some ETF and Gemini to help heal it back to full strength... These red spots are the red candles in the charts lol

To be honest I don't think that Bitcoin has any bearing on the fate of Facebook, or visa versa.
Same, but the Winklevoss twins said it will be bigger than Facebook, and I think they are on the right track with that prediction.

Well apparently in TOR there are some people trying to find a drone attack in North Korea or some crazy shit like that and they accept bitcoin. This is a form of counterterrorism (NK dictatorship is terrorism).
It probably would be really good news for bitcoin if it was used to whack some of those top NK nuts. I can't imagine how much the price would fall. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Indeed. It was in some sort of kickstarter page. I cant find it. I think its posted in the politics or offtopics here.

Imo you should post this in the marketplace.

Are you saying we are going to shut down the internet?
What if they buy shit tons of btc and sell it cheap to crash? or start mining a lot and do a 51% attack? other than that i see no risks.

What interest do I have in convincing you?
The reality is that the longer it takes for the rest of humanity to recognize the true value of this asset, the more I personally benefit.
By all means, continue your skepticism indefinitely, I'm enjoying access to these $200 coins. I can only earn fiat to melt so quickly, you know.
Ok. Now that is a very good point I've read thus far. Sometimes I also kept telling myself whether seeing the price going up is a good thing or bad thing because I might miss the opportunity to buy the coin at such low price ever again. I feel the same, its a bad thing for us. Let us amass as much BTC as possible now and be rewarded for being believers.
