I don't think the Bitcoin fees overpriced, it still makes sense. The price of Bitcoin is growing and many people are transferring their Bitcoin around the world. So, it makes sense if there is an increase in Bitcoin fees. As long as the increase isn't too significant, I think we can understand why it can rise. The Bitcoin fees aren't regulated by any institution, just accept it if the price can increase at any time.
Its not really that a much of an issue because fees arent static ones but rather dynamic and it all matters on the network situation and if its clogged then its understandable that miners do prioritize those higher fees than low ones but when everything looks right and normal then 1sat/byte would able to push up a transaction no matter how big the amount is. Overpriced when theres sudden clogged in the network but we do have some viable options to take like switching to alts if you do see that fees are into the roof. It doesnt matter if this one is one of the flaws or cons of bitcoin in times like this but this one can be handled and acceptable. |

I moved all my money from BTC to XRP when btc was $19700.
Thereafter when btc broker 20k, I moved 40% of it back to BTC but kept 40% in xrp and 20% in other alts.
I also bought more xrp later (this was some thousand of dollars)
Lost a lot of money in the xrp fall. But made some back in doge run later.
However, the point being, your speculation was right! I was wrong with the judgement else I would be a minimum of 30% more up.
Just move on and accept it because this had been a common mistake due to unpredictability of the market and also you arent the only ones who had been suffering from losses or missed out profits due to allocation. We know that diversifying is always been a good thing and we didnt even expect for those things to happen in XRP too and if didnt happen then for sure you do really able to make money at the moment. Looking at the current bull run its evident that 2021 would be the year of Bitcoin (not a prediction, just my assumption). But will this be the year to HODL the existing Bitcoin or do daily trading? Are you sure that those who do actively trade does have less income or profit compared to those who held? No this is not the right time to entertain with your savings in BTC because the price is already in its peak and buying now is not recommended, also I would request you to please go through the history of BTC and first see its high and low of the past one year. Bitcoin really helped me understand Blockchain Technology because it was something that started it all. It also helped me financially continuously and I hope that many people will also learn or study Bitcoin because it is useful. We do start on being a noob and ignorant thats why those common mistakes that we had commited is somewhat considered to be part of the learning process which would in result for us to find out more things which would be essential into our learning process towards this market.. This place is no doubt the best place for you to learn overall, it doesnt only limit out for you to learn about bitcoin but also in other altcoins as well. I am confused among these, cauze people says
1. Btc pump then alts dump
2. Alts pump then btc dump
3. Both btc and alts follow each other
But we can see that only the 3rd scenario is happening right now i.e alts are following btc.

This 3 scenario could interchange randomly depending on the trend. This year is different from what happened in 2017 due to covid-19 that led institutional investors to invest in bitcoin but there is no guarantee there won't be any downtrend in the next few months. In fact, many people have sold bitcoin when it reached the ath but it turns out bitcoin price keeps increasing to hit a higher level, $28,3k as the new ath and normal correction to $26,5k at the moment. The only concern is; when are those institutional investors intending to sell bitcoin? On where you do get that information about institutional investors do invest in bitcoin due to covid? or just purely some presumption or speculation? No one can tell on whats happening beyond the curtains but pretty much sure that adoption is on the move and increasing day by day. If you have any assets you need to sell different price like you have 1 btc in your wallet not sell all bitcoin on the same price, you need change 0,1 btc with different price so most effective when get higher price and not looks disappointed when you miss with one price, I know how many trader loss much assets because sell on the same price and almost their assets always sell all in. We can't control how the market will push but as long as we gained profits I agree that it's better than nothing, even how small it is you can continue enjoying your gains, or, you can simply go back and wait for another opportunities. Well since my friends (at least in my circle of friends) know a lot and love doge memes, I then start off the topic by talking about doge and how popular doge is, then I finally start to tackle about dogecoin being an actual digital currency (I decided to say digital currency so they'd have an idea instead of cryptocurrency) and after a short explanation they are then ought to believe with what I'm saying by showing that I am actually earning dogecoins, and after a few months, they've started planning to actually buy dogecoins and see for themselves, it's actually an easier way to make them benefit with cryptocurrency using other cryptocurrency rather than just by relying on Bitcoin.
Not to sound bitter but Dogecoin isnt really much a wise choice if you and your friends are really targeting on making profits.It would be much more better if you directly told them about bitcoin but well its your choice.
