The price of bitcoin now was 982$, which means its a good time for us to buy and hold. Because bitcoin was such a good investment to do so. And aside form that it can be use as money transfer, very safe and secured, easy to use and its decentralized.

It is just $962, I am using Preev so I think we are using different sites. By the way, I agree that it is the best time to buy bitcoin, so while we are at the price dump, better to buy bitcoins while they can because after these dump, it will be harder to buy bitcoin.

4123  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Miners vs Hardfork on: March 25, 2017, 09:37:36 AM
I still do not fully understand what is all this forking all about. I have seen the same thing with Etherium and it did experience value decrease when it forked but now look at Ether now...it is now rising and many people are taking a close look. Hope people will buy more BTC because of its lower value and hope that BTC will rise again by next week, Smiley

That is the whole reason why the forking is needed to implemented, it like an update to fix bugs and stuffs. On the past days, Bitcoin unlimited is being concerned of the liquidity of the bitcoin on the market, thats why they are forking.
4124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: March 25, 2017, 06:16:24 AM
Simply they invest in it and use their skills and start to earn from bitcoin.
They are not earning from bitcoin, but they earn bitcoin itself. Everyone can use it as long as he or she is interested on earning bitcoin, as long as you have internet and gadget to use and surf the internet, it is really ok.
4125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: March 25, 2017, 03:15:02 AM
I just tried a new Bitcoin atm that was installed about 5 min from my house.  I purchased .10 BTC as a test and when I got the receipt after the transaction it had the current price of BTC at 1,300 a coin and it was less then 1,100?  What gives?

The price of bitcoin is not the same to each other, and the most reliable source of the value is the preev.com, it will helps you a lot to figure out how much each coin value, some sites are not fair to relay on, and yes, sometime, transaction fees might confuse you in using atm, because they have different fees uses.

I though that ATMs are having an update about this, so they are not. It is really a disdapointment doing that, at the same time I am having a plan. If the price rises again, the Bitcoin Atm's price will be going down right? I can have a profit out of it, and a quick profit.

Are you not afraid the value will dump badly and for a long time if there is a fork ?

The price now is really low, but not that low. And lets assume that the fork was implemented, that price will really shoot down, I just hope the fork is not implemented, I am good with the bitcoin core right now.
Though most users here support core, the fork is getting stronger leading to the fall in price drastically. But this too is a good chance to make a profit by investing upon it. As the ongoing issue seems to be a do or die, even whales hesitate to invest and profit considering it an long term investment.
I also considered that one, though I think we users will not be affected by it but the miners too. And if BTU fork will be implemented, then we must convert our bitcoins so we can avoid negative results.
4127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi reveals himself, what would be of Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2017, 02:56:12 AM
I think there will be just a lot of paparazzis, cameras, news, posts, articles, allegations, riots, and celebrations. Many users will be in awe, knowing who discovered bitcoin, amd I think the government will never make a move on him, he didn't do anything wrong? In fact he made something so cool that might be rewarded. The bitcoin will be discussed thoroughly and can have a good desicions to make bitcoin come back to its feet again.
4128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Message from a random guy to btc community on: March 25, 2017, 02:42:44 AM
That is right, bitcoin may get it price lower but the thing is, it is bitcoin's character, being an unpredictable price. Well it happens always in the past wheere it also reach $1200 then drop to $200 which is a really a worst drop. But i dont think that it will reach that low price.

It is possible for the bitcoins price to hit that lower price which is $200, but let's not hope that it will happen, because it will be a nightmare and many bitcoin users would be discourage to earn bitcoin anymore just because of this price drop that we are experiencing right now. We have to face the reality that bitcoin is going to face this kind of days, but I know that this is just for temporary because of this Hardfork cause by the BTU if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know when will the next PUMP of bitcoin to hit its next target price which is $1500, and because of this current price drop, many bitcoin users do panic selling rather than they could have nothing at all in return which is really a bad decision they could ever make.
Lets not be so negative about this, though it might be really. And I dont think that it will really affect that many users, especially the earning ones. All they need to do is save and wait.
I also hope that it is just temporary, hard fork is coming and it is now an issue, many dont like these and I think they are winning to change bitcoin core.

4130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc? btu? satoshi nakamoto? hard fork? on: March 25, 2017, 02:31:22 AM
1) Major differences of bitcoin core and bitcoin unlimited? Is it the configuration of size of block?

There are a lot of differences with these two not just only the configuration of the block size.
  https://www.google.com.ph/amp/s/themerkle.com/bitcoin-core-vs-bitcoin-unlimited/amp/

2) Since bitcoin is open source, which means if bitcoin unlimited want to change the consensus of blockchain like size of block, they can. Can they change the total supply of coins? Block retarget time and so?

They cant, no one can change the number of coins, but when they do the forking there will be 2 coins, splitting bitcoin into two.

3) Is satoshi nakamoto in bitcoin core team?

No, noone knows who he/them was or where them/he was, but the thing that he discovered bitcoin is the only proof that he existed.

4) Is this the first major hard fork bitcoin ever forked?
As far as I know, yes.

5) As both platform uses the bitcoin source code, even bitcoin unlimited allow block size cofiguration, bitcoin core is able to process all the "Unnatural way" of transaction?
I dont know.

6) Main purpose of btu hardfork?
Block size increment
Security

You can read it on the link.

4132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: March 25, 2017, 12:32:49 AM
Yes it is, bitcoin has a brighter future. As you can see now there's other biggest company now are adopting and accepting bitcoin now like the  Dell, Apple, and Mercedez. And massively in other place of the country are getting interest to take advantage the usage of bitcoins.

That is right, slowly all countries will be accepting and adopt bitcoin soon. Just now, many people are being introduced to bitcoin, they are now finding a way to earn them and also want to see what holds the future of these digital currency.
4133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ANY STRATEGY TO WIN IN GAMBLING? on: March 24, 2017, 12:49:27 PM
Learn how to play poker and take advantage of no deposit or first deposit bonuses + leaderboard prizes.

888poker i.e. offer a $88 no deposit bonus.

Well learning and earning a skill to earn a profit from gambling really is a good idea, though it is really hard. And even if you learn playing poker, it is not a hundred percent profit, you can still lose with all that.
4134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: March 24, 2017, 12:17:51 PM
I want to have a quality time with my family, relatives and friends instead of playing gamble games all over the day. If you have already a lot of money then no need to bet anymore, there are other legit opportunities that can help you to keep your money growing like having own business or applying for investments.

Me too, gambling for me is just an entertainment. I will not waste my time gambling because I am just gambling to have fun and also to have some profit but if money is not a problem, I must be focusing on other things like investing on some sites and stuffs.
4135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: March 24, 2017, 11:27:44 AM
Definitely trading is better than gambling, but trading is not easy like gambling. In trading we should need knowledge and information, than you can do trade, but you can earn in trading more than gambling. But keep in mind both are same in risk wise. I mean trading is also risky like gambling.

That is right, mostly in gambling you seat in front of your personal computer you just click and wait all day, in trading, you also wait but you also check the guy who are you trading with, for me, losing in a gambling activity better than being scammed, at least I lost on a gambling site which I also think of before gambling, while being scammed on trading is really painful.
4136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Is Your Worst Moment in Gambling? on: March 24, 2017, 11:09:06 AM
The worst moment is when you wake up after getting wasted in vegas, with a strong headache and with empty pockets because you gambled too much, coupled with the fact that you spend the next week worried about having an STD from some hooker. Good times.

Well, it is Vegas everybody, gambling and hooking is the best here. Though I do not fit in qith these kind of people, they are big and huge bettors, gambling is their life, while gambling is just a side room for ebtertainment for me.
I do have an experience of these, but it is not my worst. My worst one, is depositing my BTC to a gambling site, but sent it to a wrong address.
4137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: March 24, 2017, 11:00:26 AM
My way in playing gambling is don't be to aggressive and to greedy in betting because you have a great chance to lose a lot of money if you are to aggressive in betting.  And also choose the games that you might have a chance in winning the game and know how to stop.

It is really easier to say not to be greedy when you are gambling, it is the name of the game, without it, you cant win and you cant be called a true gambler. The thing about gambling is if you can control that greed and make good decisions and strategy based from your experience. Winning a long streak is a good feat that will really make yourself realize that you can still bet and win.
4138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: March 24, 2017, 10:55:17 AM
Well for me, experience does really matter and it's give you encouragement when you are gambling for a longer time. Because an experienced gambler knows what to do and he has a lot of strategies to do. As they know the consequences that they can't take but because they already went through with it, they know what to do.

Yeah, in most game experience really matter like poker which rely on this. Sports betting is also depend on our experience so that I also agreed with you. If we have good knowledge than we can make strategies more better for this way.

I do believe that experience will help you gamble, and let you make decisions very good and smooth, but I think, experience are mostly used in skill based games like Blackjack, poker and other card games and gambles that requires skill. Luck relying games like dice are really a hard game to win, because as I said, it is just relying on your luck, but if you have good decisions you can also have profit from these game.
4139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: March 24, 2017, 03:14:53 AM
Well giving up in gambling is not really easy but some gamblers stop gambling for a year, they just do there hobbies like working out or go to a gym and playing sports. According to them it's the best way to stop gambling, "just do your hobbies".

It is really efficient if you are really giving up gambling for good. Because there are lot of gamblers who really treat gambling as a hobby, and whenever they try to leave gambling, they are realizing that they cant do it. You must really need help from your loved ones to help you forget gambling.
4140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 23, 2017, 09:43:38 PM
Yes I can, I'm aware that gambling makes us lose, the most important thing is so that the addict effect, I can control my self when gambling, because if it can not control all of my money will be lost in short time. Use analysis is the best way to avoid lose.

Having a self control is a really powerful thing for gamblers, can stop when you know you won enough or lost enough. I think if you can control your gambling activities, analysis doesn't matter (unless you are sports betting, right?) Dice sites are the good example of these, if you can stop from it, you really have self control.
