I'd say we're overdue for 30% correction. But I don't condone it.
A 30% correction would not be out of order - however, I doubt that "overdue" is a very decent description of our current bitcoin status. Also, I think that these various other alts are kind of fucking things up - meaning that it becomes a bit more difficult to discern the various money flows in and out of bitcoin and the strength (or lack thereof) of buying pressures in bitcoin.. I'm thinking at least one more leg up is in the more probable outcomes and then a 30% correction would be fair game from that point... lets get into the $5400 to $6400 range.. then possibly a 30% correction.. If we happen to shoot above $7k, then a 50% correction would be fair. I entered Bitcoin during the mother of all bear markets. I'm conditioned for doom. You people merely adopted the doom, I was born into it. ...ahhh! now those were the days! damn straight!! i was home mining for a year (3/2015 - 3/2016)during that seemingly endless bear market ... at a loss no doubt. thank (mythical) god I sold the miner (S4 )... NOT the coins. |

So with 48MHS... what is it.. a few days to find a block? Is there a command to see if everything is mining correctly on my 2 rigs? When I run the "getmininginfo" in the debug window, I get the following.  { "blocks" : 1596502, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 433.95049274, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 31401851155, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } I have 2 GPU rigs connected to the wallet. at 30 GH/S net hash , your 48 MHS should hit, on average, 2.3 blocks a day. So weird to think I was mining this puppy all of 2016 when net hash was around 500mh and my 2.8 mhash (a couple of 750ti's) were hitting around 5-8 blocks a day (5+ coins per block) my record high was 13 blocks in one day I believe. Too bad I didn't hodel.... phuuuuuuuuck!!! |

Yes it does. Stars are not dangerous to us so there was never a reason to develop a negative reaction to them, and we like sparkly things. Probably because water is easier to find when it reflects light, water being required to survive. And of course we use them to navigate, probably since millions of years ago. Stars benefit our survival.

I am actually sympathetic to your position as I was a strong agnostic/atheist for most of my adult life. I ended up that way by reading the Old Testament and being turned off by the barbarism of those times. Had a dream last night that I woke up and saw my bitcoin price ticker up over $400,000 and rising quickly. Saw it touch $500,000 as it came "crashing" back down to the high $300k range. With such high numbers I couldn't even think of how much money that meant I had...just that I was fucking rich.
