4143  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BTC->Cash through the mail services? on: May 12, 2012, 01:15:46 AM
I would bet people would, sending $ in the mail is a pain though, very risky, and there's a long wait before you get your BTC. I suppose someone would be interested though.

4145  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner 2.0 - Running! on: May 11, 2012, 07:54:21 PM
Alright, now the earnies are back, the game can start again. Let me just make perhaps the most important announcement that you will ever hear/read.

Thats right, Earnies are back in Virtual Miner, the best coin for the job. Why you ask? Because they are modeled after real bitcoins! (and lets not forget they are advocated by me), so when your 1,000,000 coins per block coin has made its 500,000,000th coin they are worthless. With Earnies, its different, the difficulty will continuously rise to the point where it actually takes time/effort to generate ONE Earnie! So what does this mean for you? By mining Earnies early, you have a much greater chance of actually having an investment coin worth something. And with more VHash than any other coin, there is little risk of Earnies ever becoming an orphaned chain! So switch to Earnies today! You can only regret it, if you don't.
4146  Economy / Auctions / Re: 7 days ***Extremely rare and valuable*** fine ruby on: May 11, 2012, 12:29:55 AM
Also forgot to mention, the article on flux was very enlightening too, thanks for that. Very tempted to buy the African Ruby (and the Burmese, but that's dreaming a little large for now), maybe if you still have it in a few months, I can afford to pick it up from you.

I'v never fully understood the insurance on shipping things, can you have it insured for as much as you want? What if you got 100 of the $15 flat rate boxes, and filled them full of cement (should be about 80 lbs) Insure them each for $10,000, and Id say there's a decent chance the delivery person would get tired of lugging them around, kick them out of the truck onto an overpass, and you would get your sweet $10,000+ payday.
4147  Economy / Auctions / Re: 7 days ***Extremely rare and valuable*** fine ruby on: May 11, 2012, 12:06:25 AM
Well, since you don't seem to be getting the necessary publicity for this fine item, I'll start the bidding! Shall we say... 10 BTC!?
4148  Other / Off-topic / Re: In case anyone was wondering about using BitForce Singles in OSX on: May 10, 2012, 09:47:56 PM
I think that because you need a computer in order to run a BFL, and after the emergency technology convention on October 5th, 2011, Macintosh coasters are no longer classified as computers.
4149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BPD] Bitcoin Pizza Day - Concept on: May 10, 2012, 08:42:22 PM
Well, you would need to explain what bitcoins were to the manager, and find some way to convince them they are actually worth something, and that this isn't just a scam. Good luck teaching the technologically impaired about Bitcoins.
4150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BitcoinMint.US - Inquiries about the sale of business line. on: May 10, 2012, 12:41:28 AM
I'm pretty sure that you can sell your site and account if you want, but, telling the forum that you are switching ownership is probably a good idea. I'm not sure why the general consensus of the forums is needed?
4151  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of honest traders. on: May 09, 2012, 07:20:17 PM
+10 for MarketNeutral, ordered an Ipod, Necklace, and ITunes cards, they shipped first, and everything was received on time. Best packaging job I have ever seen, I first opened the well secured box, inside was paper strips filling the entire box, upon emptying the paper, there was a plastic bag, inside of the plastic bag was four bubble wrap type mailer, inside of each was white paper wrapping, and an envelope with each individual item inside of that. That is what I call dedication and commitment.

All of the work that went into packaging it, I was a little afraid someone had sent me drugs. But nope, just everything that I ordered in great condition. Thanks again.

Oh, almost forgot, they sent me a free Ipod Case to go with the Ipod. Very appreciated.

4155  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: VirtualMiner 2.0 - Running! on: May 08, 2012, 09:08:11 PM
Good to see this game up and running again. I remember the semi horrible VM1, and all of its bugs.  * reminiscing* Good times... What happened to the Earnies?!?!?!?! And Rycoins... I guess, those were almost cool, but not as cool as Earnies. If Ryland was still alive, he would be turning in his grave, too bad that being on fire and doing a backflip into a pool for bitcoins stunt killed him.

BUT! For the love of god another thing to add to your list, is switch what all of the miners are mining at once, it takes me an hour to go through all of my rigs and change them.

Also, how do I 51% attack in the game? If I remember correctly I have like 56% of the games hashing power.

I'm looking for 28.5 for it right now, my sister wanted to into bitcoins, so she bought the Amazon Card, and was going to have me sell it for her, but I ended up just giving her $150 of mine for it, so I need to get the 28.5.
