IMO hat he meant is that investing with bitcoin and his holdings is the thing which he will use for buying a new house. I guess he just fail to pick the right word, much better if he used "invest" instead "buy"  . i certainly do. i'm still betting we go no lower than $8k. anything in the $8000s is a solid buy. price won't stay down there for long---strong v-bottom expected. too low. bears are already getting greedy, i can feel it. by the time we're bottoming in the $8000s or $9000s, they'll be aiming for $6k again. Agreed, this time the price could fall low to $6000. The price has been found stabilized above $10000 for a long and the market keeps falling without any forward price move. Upon the same I belive the the price move is in down trend and the same is predicted to go low to $6000 if there isn't any large scale price pumping to take the value get pumped above $12000. |

I think it's better to hold just a few coins than hold many coins. investing must be calculated, if we allocate our funds for something that does not necessarily provide profit, we are losing money and time.
just put your money in 4 or 6 different types of cryptocurrencies but all you have to choose is coins that are in the top 100 crypto capitalization currencies, I don't mean to say that a coin below the 100 is not good, it's just too risky.
I would disagree with that because it's not my style actually. For me, holding lots of coins can minimize the risk and that makes me more comfortable investing for long term. What I'm really thinking is maybe if I hold a lot of coins, that could help me find a hidden gem in crypto that could change my life. As long as the coin has a potential, even if risky, I will not hesitate to buy it but of course with proper fund management. Agreed, we've got 2000+ cryptocurrencies to invest. Among them there can be life changing assets, but that is really hard to find. When we diversify on large number of altcoins we get our portfolio value almost in a stable way and when when the market turns bullish we'll get a bigger profit out of any one of the asset which is the success of holding large number of altcoins than a limited number. As stated in the last line without proper fund management nothing can be made to be effective. With cryptocurrency based investment fund management is key factor. |

I tired to mine altcoin, i found mining become difficult this days may for very new altcoin it will be profitable, but i suggest buy altcoin instead of mining.
If you have got all the mining equipments then it is good to mine, else as suggested buying is the right choice. When the price of bitcoin was around $3200 the amount spend upon mining the same was close to the same value which leaves miners without profit where there is high electricity consumption charges. Now as the price of bitcoin has grown high the mining cost has decreased and the profitability has increased. The scenario hasn't chnaged with altcoins as there is no big growth relative to bitcoin. |

Now I am not an expert in gambling but this day was a really eye opener for me, you can never win in gambling. Imagine when you can't win in lotto , soccer betting or whatever you call it, you don't have a chance in slots.
To be fair, gambling is too broad a term nowadays. We cannot generalize gambling as if all gambling games can be categorized as one. I mean, I cannot classify dice as the same as a game of poker. They are obviously two different bananas. In the same manner that you cannot classify gambling on a lotto and gambling on a soccer game as one. The huge difference is that the other one is purely based on luck while the other could be won based on skills, or perhaps based on a brilliant analysis. Well most of us here are already aware of the hacking activities of binance and bancor.They are taking practical measures to track down the culprits but the question on my mind is why could coincidentally both exchanges be hacked?Now it appears that the exchanges are not moving at a faster and innovative ways to upgrading their systems and allow these hackers time to study their systems well,identify the loop holes and cause the problem.In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.
In a security system there must be a gap that is very guarded by the system. all depends on the security of the website and the people behind of the website. there is Many reputable exchange cases have to ended horribly and claimed the company was hacked and the coin was lost. if we remember the past like mtgox and other exchange that are trusted exchange at that time. but the possibility of vulnerability of stil systems exist these days. so this why i just believe with my own wallet . im just using exchange for Exchange to real money, not as my wallet to saving money there. Already several horrible incidents have took place when the price of bitcoin was very low compared to the present. When something gets more value automatically the focus of the innovative people will turn towards the same and keep on learning to acquire it. Some does it in the right way while some try the back door. Everywhere everything can't be perfect, exchanges too have loopholes and the same is being used by the hackers.
