in my opinion, many altcoins fail and lead to scame, but bitcoin is not like that when prices rise usually altcoins also go up it's hard to guess, bitcoin determines the movement of altcoins. I'm not sure about the project with the ERC20 platform, after the decline in eth prices, the community always throws their tokens and tokens are worthless. there are some ico that use eos platforms including MCB.
I think this is a new innovation to attract investors.

not all ICOs are problematic, some ico have managed to achieve hardcap. You only have to do some analysis of the white paper, roadmap and the team that manages the project. I am sure you will find new and valuable things. |

I am not happy when I see that market is crashing and I am afraid of investing some money into ICOs. A year ago ICO investments changed the world, everyone earned a lot. Now, 99% ICOs are unprofitable.
Everything is change and many ICO projects exist today that turns into scam which also cause uncertainty of people to invest with it. I'm afraid it could greatly ruin crypto image and makes the reason why people won't engage now(hope it won't). yes this is very bad, investor confidence is decreasing because some ICOs fail to ensure that tokens are very valuable in the future. in fact most ICOs are destroyed in an instant and the token price is far from the ICO price. |
