When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining?

I think it will never happen, or maybe after 20 years when smartphones will possess equal to ASICs power of processing, otherwise it is not possible.

Even if its possible for our smartphone to be a portable mining for crypto it will be just a handheld grenade because of the heat it will make and

the stress to its battery will just make it impossible to use.

I never thought a smartphone was a tool for mining bitcoin, and even though a smartphone could be used to mine, I wouldn't do it, because I preferred to use a smartphone according to its use.

This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I think it is impossible. Not gonna happen. Even you personal computer will surrender when mining so have mercy on your phone. It will not be able to bare so much (i do not know the term to use) data when mining so its memory will snap.

I don't think mining through smartphones will ever happen, that is due to heat and battery life. Even when we normally use our smartphone in our daily life we have to charge it daily, the phone also gets overheated sometimes and hence battery life reduces. So think now can we still be able to mine through a smartphone? how you will tackle to get rid of charging your smartphone daily? and of getting overheated? So much overheat can even blast your smartphone.

I am not too sure but i think electroum app is building something like that already, and i believe in years to come it will be possible to mine bitcoin on the smartphones, there is nothing technology won't achieve, it might take time, but it is possible in the coming years.

Smartphones are too far to be used for mining as mining requires a lot of power and processing speed which is a smartphone's limit of its feature. It is impossible as even those wired computers needs such effective cooling mechanisms unlike those smartphones that only have thermal pastes and still even overheat.

Its true, i think its not eficient using our smartphone to mining bitcoin. Smartphone not designed for mining bitcoin but for communication. Better keep using proper device to avoid from damage on our smartphone

I think its impossible to use smartphone in mining. Because mining need huge electricity to get good profit and i think if you force your smartphone do mining it will damage on your phone. Maybe in laptop can do but in smartphone its impossible

That's the question that I also want to know when will it be used for bitcoin mining that's why I researched that in some articles and some answer that it will soon be used for some smartphones in order to get more bitcoin but most of them are in a negative comments I mean they say it will hard to be used for mining in bitcoin because it is not that good at mining unlike computer it can easy to manage to make more earnings in mining bitcoin. Through the continues upgrading of different smart phones and also upgrading its specs maybe the near future our smart phones we can used in mining because of increasing its memory and drivers. Let's just wait until it's fully capacity if those smart phones can really mine bitcoin.

I thought than there is some coin that can be mined by simple Android or IOS smartphone. If there's not I think it's possible, because smartphones now have power of ten years ago PC...

I think it's not a good choice that smartphones are used to mine bitcoin, because the processors embedded in smartphones are not designed for bitcoin mining needs. I prefer to use smartphones according to the rules of use, and never think about bitcoin mining using smartphones.
