Eu pessoalmente não compraria isso nem se tivesse bilhões de dólares, pois ficaria com aquela sensação de torrar tanto dinheiro em algo "fútil" sendo que essa quantidade mudaria a vida de MUITA gente (inclusive a minha)... mas rico sendo rico, né?  Se alguém comprou, alguém vendeu.. Se essa quantia faz diferença pro Jack? Acho que não.. Porém são 14 milhões que ele pode gastar por ai, e no fim do ciclo essa grana cai na mão de alguém que tenha pouco dinheiro (e então, de alguma forma, essa pessoa vai fazer essa grana voltar de volta pro bilionário que comprou o tweet) Dinheiro foi feito para ser gasto  na prática a teoria e outra, se essa lógica realmente funcionasse teríamos muito menos gente na miséria e menos concentração de riqueza... |

and do buy all the things you do want which simply does show that money does really play a big role when it comes to happiness of someone.Knowing that people or human beings are materialistic
and somewhat greedy when it comes to possession or things in life which this kind of behavior isnt something that you could really be surprised on.
I agree that even though you have money, you can't buy everything even you win $1B. But having such huge amount can make you or anyone happy by giving them what they need. It's the only thing that one who's in good status and very fortunate to give back if they want to bring smile to others face. Spending that money correctly and wisely will also rely on the attitude of the winner, too bad that there are wealthy winners that have been reported to be broke because they spent it like there's no tomorrow. yes, in the end being wealthy is way more about how much one send than how much one makes, and of course: how well they invest. 1 billion could make a lot of families and even whole societies quite wealthy and well for a long long time. |

I haven't received much payment in my signature campaign so right now my plan is to hodl the bitcoin that I will receive as it is at most a trickle amount and I don't think that gambling it or spending it on anything is going to be worth it. Maybe when I get enough bitcoin, I might go and buy a new phone or something that isn't worth a lot of money but is worth buying.
the idea of saving and investing earnings is a solid plan, but if it's something that may help you in life and is not only luxury it may be worth to buy it too, key is finding good balance. |

No amount of money is enough. If that was the case, then the richest people in the world (such as Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk) would be giving away most of their wealth. But these people are still trying hard to get themselves more wealth. Like I said, there is no limit for ambition. Those who are having $1,000 will aim to become a millionaire. Once you become a millionaire, you realize that you still can't afford certain things. Now the aim is to become a billionaire. And once you become a billionaire, the next target is to have a wealth of $10 billion.. it will go on like this.. it's not always like that, since greed never ends if you feed it. there's always a higher number. an interesting key is not elevating lifestyle and spending as fast as one elevates income (which is hard on sudden prizes like OP's story, but still doable). another interesting take is that happiness and money walk together until certain part of the path, where they separate, and earning more money doesn't make you happier afterwards. better pursuing other things like purpose, challenge or enjoyment. |

Isso era mais do que esperado. Já falo há um bom tempo para o pessoal apostar no dólar frente ao real. Não é especulação não. É que muitas das vezes o presente reflete o passado. Como eu vivi à época do final do regime militar sei muito bem como funciona o "negócio". Certamente, Só da inflacao nos EUA ser 1,5-2% ao ano e a nossa variar de 4-10% depednendo do ano, já faz o dolar subir no longo prazo. Dificil o real "ganhar" do dolar nessa. Vale a pena comprar dolar, btc, qualquer coisa para sair do risco brasil. além do mais, pra quem investe de forma passiva e não quer muito trabalho faz muito mais sentido manter uma poupança em dólar em DeFi/CeFi rendendo 10-20% ao ano do que em real ganhando 2-4% ao ano, considerando manter uma liquidez de no máximo d+1.  |
