4161  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzimatic.com - Automated 130% returns or 50% if chain breaks. on: February 24, 2014, 11:24:08 PM
What is minimum and maximum?

0.001 minimum. A maximum is not yet in place. Are there good reasons to have one?
If a large order comes he just pays out a lot of the other depositors who can come back in to a more active system.

Remember I am open to any changes as long as it does not make people who came in at other deals uncomfortable.

For example how would you guys feel about being able to manually withdraw the 50% whenever you want instead of it being time based? We can provide logins or just commands via small deposits.

If the current 130%/50% model fails to get people excited and everyone just gets the 50% we can then try again with something like 110% returns and 90% consolation or even 190%/10%.

Yes innovate innovate and advertise as well

I don't understand why there is 0.4295BTC in the wallet and the website says that there has been 0.5BTC deposits

Phrases that need to be banned from bitcoin:
"Don't invest more than you're willing to lose!" - thanks dad
"Bitcoin outcome is binary, either zero or to the moon!" - ...or it could just be between $500 - $1000 for the forseeable future? i guess people just feel smart by saying this, even though it has no basis in reality.

haha so what should we say? What is your take on this?

Let him do what he wants and don't give him advices, he is asking for some

I am sure you have good ones to give, give it a try

4164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: February 24, 2014, 10:50:42 PM
I don't know whether gox opened btc outstream or not. But if it will open, all cheap coins (bought with $100+) will arrive into other exchanges where price is much higher. Think about it.

Sure some will, but not all. Most of these people are now realizing how risky it is to leave money on exchanges and learning their lesson so many will also be going to cold storage.

I think it will be a wash.

Bitcoin being deflationary means the price over months and years is destined to go up even if in the short term we are going down.

Bitcoins on sale! Just remember we started the month at above $800 now we are in the mid to low $500 area.

There is more and more bitcoins in circulation everyday so it is inflationary but there is more and more people that adopt it so I also think that the price will go straight up again at some point in the next 10months

Everything is suppose to be fine in Europe and in the States, it is suppose to be a recovery; when everyone understand there is no recovery and when Janet Yellen will declares QE infinity, the Dollar will plunge and Bitcoin will rise; tens of thousands are not out of the question in recent future
4165  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2014 is NOT the year of bitcoin, sorry on: February 24, 2014, 10:47:03 PM
Damn guys, i hate to be a wet blanket but zoom out on the charts to one week and you can see red candles for the past six weeks in a row. this hasn't happened since summer 2011 and is a pretty strong indication that the run up in november was too much, too fast for bitcoin. it seems to add more weight to the sentiment that it could be a considerable amount of time until enthusiasm in bitcoin grows again.

agreed. but how over-bought was it?  Can't it still be the year of bitcoin without having a price bubble.  It seems adoption has been on the uptick.  http://www.bitcoinpulse.com/chart/coinmap/num_venues/total

The price is resisting quite a lot compared to all the bad press and all the mtgox fiasco, it could go down sharply if mtgox shut down though

I am certain that the price will go up to new highs once the european debts come back in the news and when Yellen announces QE infinity and that she needs to buy all the government debt because the Dollar will plunge and people will finally realise that the real ponzi scheme is the Dollar not Bitcoin
4166  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country do you think has the strongest property protection rights? on: February 24, 2014, 10:44:02 PM
Which country do you think has the lowest chance of someone having their bank accounts seized like happened in Cyprus?

You need your wealth diversified in stocks from free countries, precious metals, shares of natural ressources companies

If you have Bank Safe, choose Australia, Switzerland, Honk Kong, Singapore, New Zeland

Don't invest in fiat or fiat-like
4167  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.1 BTC Loan Needed on: February 24, 2014, 10:39:34 PM
But -20% is possible even very possible.
Anyway - I wish you will find someone Smiley

I can help you anyway.

Good luck!

ps. you did not mentioned - for how long term this loan would be? and how much you repay?

A 20% drop against BTC would put it around .0206XX, which seems highly unlikely. I could possibly see a 20% drop on the LTC/USD side, but it would go correspondingly with a similar drop for BTC as well. Then again, if it adjusted by 20% upward, who's to say that the lender would ever give me back my LTC? Smiley

And 1 week term, at 101% payback.

1%? It's bitcoin, people want 20, 30 100%

If you send me the amount in LTC +30% I lend you for 5%, yes I am not taking any risks, I hope you can find an other option
4168  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Does Mt Gox Say? Parody Song on: February 24, 2014, 10:35:44 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KiqRpPiJAU&feature=youtu.be

Check out this funny parody song...  Was written by me, edited by RchGrv and sung by a hired voice (QuentinVentures- http://fiverr.com/quentinventures) .

Mt Gox is holding 5 of my bitcoins hostage and this was a nice little release to deal with the frustration.

  Like it?

Donations appreciated to cover the production cost of the song:  1rtXRt714GbqVQSY1rj9Qz3upKVTqLNvt

  Hope you all like it!

You probably had a lot of fun doing the song Grin Did you receive any donations yet?

ONLY NEXT DEPOSIT OF ALMOST 0.10 BTC WILL BE PAID 150%

That is a very good idea, if you could think of other ideas and advertise the website on other threads (no spamming though) it would be greatly appreciated, did you end up getting back the money you deposited?

Let's keep it rolling guys!!
4170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling info worth of thousands. on: February 24, 2014, 10:32:45 PM
Haha it is funny how people get so curious, me included!!

Does it have something to do with mtgox?? It is definitely something that allow you to make money, make some info about some merger, an insider info that allows you to make an easy profit buying shares of a company on an exchange
4171  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where is the BitCoin? on: February 24, 2014, 10:29:58 PM
Now where is the BitCoin?
lol
That's like asking "Now where is the US Dollar?" when you read about a bank robbery.

Everytime I see someone refer to it as 'The Bitcoin' I always think of the Joker from Batman.

Can you give me link to this place on the blockchain?

What are you talking about? The place of what?

"The Bitcoin''...It didn't even use to be called that unlike facebook

The truth about Mtgox is that most people don't know, they are guessing

Personally a business that accept deposits but don't allow withdraw scream BE CAREFUL
4172  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 3$/Ghs as low 2.6$/GHs do you think sminers.com Legit ? on: February 24, 2014, 09:24:43 PM
What makes it a scam? It isn't unbelievably cheap?

Not certain if you'll even make your money back

One Ghs on Cex.io is 0.244 at the moment which means approximatively 13$

3$ is low enough to make a profit, you can pay higher than 3$ and still make a profit if you can sell the Ghs for a high price. I am selling my antminer 1.6Ghs and I received an offer at 80€=110$ which means 1Ghs=69$

Stick to what has been working

one gox used to be 0.5BTC and it is 0.28 now, I don't really understand what drives the price
4174  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MTGOX cash deposit February 2014 on: February 24, 2014, 09:15:09 PM
I am sure it is very annoying, I know how it feels to wait for the money to arrive but the price is 167$ now so you can still buy very cheap and get your chance to have cheap coins IF you are extremely lucky and mt gox isn't insolvent

They accept deposits but you can't withdraw, it is a pretty clear sign of not having enough money
4175  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ponzimatic.com - Automated 130% returns or 50% if chain breaks. on: February 24, 2014, 09:10:41 PM
I don't see my deposit anywhere

It has 11confirmations so far : 504f42a79f15bf5e29a4473f3585c761a0e65d360cf720b255adfce269c42b99

Why is there so much in the wallet and no deposits&cash out for a few hours??

Hi boumalo.

You can now see the queue on the page. The wallet total is 50% of the deposits + spendable + 1% fee. The fee was 2%. Lowering the fee lodged the 0.1btc wall that was for a few hours but it would have fallen anyway with more deposits.
http://ponzimatic.com/

Ok thank you for the answer, can you advertise the website a bit on other threads so the deposits can pick up?

Why aren't you paying when there is 0.40 in the wallet balance?
4176  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTContracts.org - Speculate to accumilate. on: February 24, 2014, 09:06:45 PM
The owner seems on top of things and we are very early on, I have a good feeling about this scheme, I reinvested a tiny bit and I am looking to invest more, hopefully before contract 5 is complete
thank you. I have started to apply to advertise http://btcontracts.org on various advertising networks and now the site is aproved by them. So the advertising will be kicking in now. I am in the process of applying to more networks every day as well to reach even further. Thanks to all members who are using the banners i provide on your accounts page.

That is exciting, it should add a lot of members, maybe you should try advertising on bitcointalk? It brought 1.5BTC/day for 10days and we were at bank 16 so I can only imagine how many deposits it could bring to btccontracts : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=482060.msg5301372#msg5301372

You need to some 1BTC or so to Theymos so he knows you will be paying the adds, last round 1.1BTC was enough to have 1200 000 impressions on bitcointalk that should bring 15BTC + in 10days
4177  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Trusted and Scam Ponzi Site List on: February 24, 2014, 09:01:57 PM
maybe you could add btccontracts.org to the list. I didn't withdraw from them yet so I cannot confirm that they pay but an other bitcointalk member confirmed they were withdrawing

0.78 in 20minutes, it isn't nothing but it is still less than what we need

If when the big depositors receive their payment they redeposit we are good to go but if they don't redeposit it will slow down
4179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hope those suckered into the GOX rally lose everything on: February 24, 2014, 08:50:48 PM
Hey thanks Op buddy Grin  I'm sure the worlds already been treating you as you treat others. Still I would like to take this opportunity to tell you life can get better nothing lasts for ever so chin up go outside let the sun warm your face.

Edit: Been getting Euros out of gox for months now. Its not fast but is working . Still I decided to leave a bunch in and gamble scooping up cheep coins that may or not be worth something. Time will tell and until then i wish you well and hope life improves for you.

Op got treated by insults, people trying to prove him wrong and now you are trying quite smartly to make him feel that he is wrong

It is funny how some posts only interest old members and some posts are mostly interesting newbies, do you guys have a filter to only see old member's posts?
