Congratulations to @hilariousandco who took yellow cap from big_daddy by predicting exact score on Wolves - Spurs game. It's something incredible that after 15 rounds nobody haven't got yellow cap more than once. It shows how conpetetive our pool is. Unfortunately, there is just 38 rounds in EPL, while there is 48 of us here Cheesy.
Another race for golden cap will begin tomorrow - we have 3 round 16 games on Monday, don't forget to make picks.
4162  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Betnomi – Premier League Predictor – 1000$ main prize on: December 27, 2020, 08:17:58 PM
OMG that made me laugh so much... 3 days connection problem and posting after most of the matches are finished  Cheesy

What is even better, even though the matches were finished, predicted results are wrong Smiley
So, maybe it means that he really had connection problems LOL Cheesy.
4163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the purpose of your post ? on: December 26, 2020, 11:33:12 PM
I think it's not secret that many people here are just to get paid. It's not something surprising when we have things like signature campaigns. I've see many cases when users stopped posting after losing spot in signature campaign.
Though, I would lie if I'd say that money don't have any role for me here. I must admit that I made some posts just to get paid. I doubt that I would had made over 7500 posts if there wouldn't be signature campaigns. On the other hand, when I was without campaign, my posting habits didn't changed at all and I haven't made less posts. In all these years Bitcointalk simply become part of my daily routine and I hardly can live without it. And I don't care that much whether I'll get paid or no.
IMO, it's clearly vissible when you're posting genuinely, interested in subject and when you post just to get paid.
4164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Belgian Jupiler league 20/21 - predictions 8/18 (won/total) on: December 26, 2020, 10:39:41 PM
Standard Liege at home surprisingly lost to St. Truiden 1:2. Before this round St. Truiden were last on the table. It's worth to mention that for more than 30 minutes, Standard had one man more on the pitch after red card. On last minutes Standard had great chamce to make result 2:2, but goalkeeper made amazing save.
4165  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: I hate hardware wallet being made eye-catching. on: December 26, 2020, 08:14:56 PM
Does hardware wallets really have eye-catching design? I don't think so. Ledger basically looks like simple USB flash. Trezor also doesn't looks like some fancy thing - it looks like some kind of controller. And as said above, you can buy case for hardware wallet to hide it. Finally, even if someone will rob you, it's not end of the world as long as you have recovery seed, thieves will only get device.

As long as the thieves don't know your seed phrase and codes, they shouldn't be able to access your coins.
This is not true for Trezor devices, and any other hardware wallets which are based on Trezor devices (such as the KeepKey). A knowledgeable attacker can, with physical access to the device for around 10 minutes and less than $100 worth of hardware, extract the seed phrase and therefore steal all coins which are not further protected by a passphrase.
Good point, but how likely that random thieve who will come to your home will be knowledgeable to know it? Offcourse unless you're victim of targeted attack.
4166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 26, 2020, 06:06:20 PM
less than 3 months before the start of the world championship, it already seems that there is a problem with the first race in Australia.
currently, Australian law requires a 14-day quarantine to enter the country. the race is Sunday 21 March, but the paddock staff must be there at least
Tuesday 16. Considering that there are tests in Barcelona until March 4, they would not have time to leave for Melbourne and do the 14 days of mandatory quarantine
I guess exception for F1 will be made. Their case is different from some random people who arrive to the country. F1 team member and staff are tested several times a week during season. Also, they aren't allowed to leave their social bubble - they will spend whole race weekend in the track and hotel only.
4167  Other / Meta / Re: What hapenned to sirius? on: December 26, 2020, 05:57:45 PM
Different from Satoshi, sirius isn't such mysterious person. His full name is known and probably there is no need predict and speculate where he is now. If you're interested in his activity, you can follow him on Twitter. Why did he left Bitcointalk? Well, I think only he can answer this question. We can only predict what is the reason.
4168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2020, 05:43:13 PM
How bad Crystal Palace was today, despite that they had one man more on the pitch for whole 2nd half. Villa dominated game totally.
All eyes on Arsenal - Chelsea game. I see some people went with Arsenal win - what I can say, brave prediction Cheesy.
EDIT What idid I said? Cheesy Arsenal iis leading 2:0!
Another VAR situation. How is it possible that Southampton did not get a penalty right now? Maybe there was not intention behind it but still after you see that slow motion it does not look good. And VAR referee did not even call main ref to look at the situation.

This sort of VAR checks destroy the game, I am sure Man United would get a penalty in this situation and probably most of the other big teams.
Didn't saw that moment because I watched other game. But in general, there is big problem with VAR in EPL. We have some questionable moments almost every round. I don't know why there is no such issues in other big leagues.

Thank you for another payment, Hhampuz!
Merry Christmas to you and Playbetr team! 2020 wasn't easy for most of us, let's hope that 2021 will be more positive.
4170  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Browser Extension that Gives Bitcoin on: December 25, 2020, 06:39:49 PM
Can someone explain how it works exactly? As I understand, you have to purchase something from online store using their affiliate link and then they gives you cashback in Bitcoin? Correect me if I understood it wrong. Well, it doesn't sounds bad, but I'm not sure that I would want to pass their KYC just for it.
Any way, so far they are only accepting customers from USA and I think trying to use it through VPN isn't solution.
4171  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for escrow service for AWS SES accounts on: December 25, 2020, 06:30:12 PM
You can find amny trusted escrow services providers in link posted above, but I think it will be not that easy to find someone who is dealing AWS SES accounts. In general, account sales isn't something what is considered as legit thing, so many escrow providers simply don't work with such trades.
4172  Other / Meta / Re: Merry Christmas to the Forum on: December 24, 2020, 10:09:29 PM
Merry Christmas to everyone here. Have a nice time with your family and stay safe!
2020 was strange and difficult for most of us and bring some challenges. But on the other hand, Bitcoin reached ATH this year.
So, let's hope that pcoming 2021 will be better for us.
4173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Darts] 2021 PDC World Darts Championship on: December 24, 2020, 06:09:44 PM
Darts is really fun sports to watch, but unfortunately, without fans it's different. When people in arena get drunk, atmosphere becomes crazy Cheesy.
Unfortunately, my countryman Labanauskas is already eliminated, but his game against Whitlock was probably best match in championship so far. His 164 checkout was something epic:
https://twitter.com/OfficialPDC/status/1341398306962980867
Personally, I have no doubts that someone can stop Van Gerwen from winning championship, though I would like to see someone else winning it. I see that odds for his win already dropped to 2.75, maybe it's worthto put stake on him. Unfortunately, I didn't saw initial odds and idn't bet earlier.
P.S. All-green ''outfit'' of Peter Wright looks amazing Cheesy.
4174  Other / Meta / Re: Why it's easier to hack BTT users account on: December 23, 2020, 11:11:05 PM
You have good points, but Bitcointalk security questions where already discussed so many times. Unfortunately, not all security features can be implemented in current forum software.
But I think situation with hacked Bitcointalk improved a lot in few last years after few changes made by theymos and good work of account recovery team. I remember that maybe 2 years ago half of Meta topics were requests to recover hacked accounts. Now we can see very few such topics.
I don't know if it is a good practice for user to change his bitcointalk account password periodically, like some people are doing for their email addresses, and are there any negative sides for doing that?
I can't find any strong reasons why it would be bad idea..
4175  Other / Meta / Re: [2020] Positive news! on: December 23, 2020, 10:47:58 PM
2020 was strangest year in my life and sometimes I still can't believe it's not some kind of movie or bad dream. 2021 simply can't be worse.
But it's something incredible that Bitcoin hit ATH during this year. I doubt that many of us expected that such thing can happen, especially during March dip. At least I didn't panic sell even single Satoshi back then.
In general, 2020 was not great, not terrible for me. At least I didn't got Covid, my family members didn't got it too and it's already something positive. Also, I didn't lost my job - it would be big hit during these strange times. And what I can say that working not remotely during lockdown is big advantage for me when I still meet my colleagues and have real social contact Cheesy. I would get mad if I'd have to work from home.
But in general, 2020 is year to forget for me, nothing significant didn't happened for me and I can only enjoy some small things. But I imagine that after 10 or 20 years it will be very strange to remember these unbeleavable time that we lived.
4176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: December 23, 2020, 10:20:59 PM
Verstappen was this year third with 5 times a DNF and Bottas was second with just 1 DNF. If Verstappen didnt had that much bad luck this season he could have been easily second.
Good point. Considering that Verstappen had so many DNF and Bottas overcome him just by few points shows that Bottas had really poor season.

I often hear passersby or get lost and Hamilton could not ride together in F1 in the same team that will never happen, it seems to me? both want to become world champions and that could lead to overtaking actions where they touch each other be danger for the other
if you look to talent then i think lewis and verstappen are b far the most talented drivers in the f1
Well, history already shown that having 2 TOP drivers in the team when both want to be No. 1 isn't best idea. It leads to tension between drivers which often ends with accidents on track. You should remember examples like Hamilton and Alonso, Vettel and Webber or Hamilton and Rosberg in the same team.
So, for leading teams it's safer to have wingmans like Bottas or Barrichelo back in Ferrari golden era.
4177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's create some Bitcoin meme on: December 22, 2020, 11:18:53 PM
Damn, these memes about Bitcoin and Satoshi really made me laugh Cheesy Great stuff!
But c'mon guys, try harder, I know you can! I would like to make something myself, but I'm not creative at all.
BTW, there is already thread for memes, though it's more about just Bitcointalk, not Bitcoin in general:

4178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 22, 2020, 11:02:30 PM
Really good game and confident win - not that frequent thing this season. I don't know it's coincidence or now, but we achieved it without Griezmann in the squad. Shocking fact that until this game Barca had collected just 4 points in away games.
Atletico won very important game against Real Sociedad. I think after this game Sociedad dreams that they can fight for title is over - 6 points behind 1st place and Atletico have 3 games in advance.
And interesting fact - Iñaki Williams today played his 172th game in a row for Athletic and overcome legendary Di Stefano by this number. He haven't missed even single game from 20th April, 2016 - very impressive.
4179  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: New Ledger phishing mail targets individual users on: December 22, 2020, 07:01:16 PM
I checked leaked data and I was already ready to see full my data leaked with full name, phone number and home address, but fortunately, there is just my email address.
What I noticed that in few recent days I got more than ever phishing Ledger emails and it can't be not related with this data leak.
What is worst, this database wasn't just sold somewhere on dark web. Now it's available for everyone, so great opportunity for people with bad intentions to use it without putting any effort to get so many email addresses.
4180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Primeira Liga (Portuguese League) Discussion on: December 22, 2020, 05:17:05 PM
Persoanlly, I would like to see Porto winning league. From what I saw both in Primeira and Champions league, Porto looks most solid. Sporting this year failed to qualify to Europa league, but now they have less intensive calendar and can focus on the league only. During these pandemic years probably it can be big advantage.

I wanted to vote for Benfica but choose the last option as i thought abut Vitoria Guimaraes which is not in the poll list.
Vitoria actually is in the fourth place with 19 pts before braga (18pts). The next match with Porto (22 pts) would determine the real potential of Vitoria to reach a higher place. I don't think it will win the Liga because i can't deny the power of Sporting which keeps its first place with 26 points .
I doubt that they have real chances to fight for the title, IMO best what they can achieve is spot in Europa league. I'd rather would mention Braga as team which can make troubles for Big 3.

BTW, there Portugueese Super Cup final tomorrow between Porto and Benfica. Bookmakers are giving little advantage for Benfica. What you guys are backing?
