4161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1% of Bitcoin dormant supply moved from long-term storage in November on: December 04, 2020, 12:54:44 PM
We have seen a lot of positive news already that the price almost spike to $20k already.

So I'm not surprised by the news as this statistics just show the we are already in a bull run and everyone is buying and then keeping it for the long haul, specially that there is a big chance that the price could really spike up next year. So we might see this numbers growing over time as more people prefer to hold their bitcoin in their wallet and won't liquidate unless we reach a new all time high.
4162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price 17000$ today on: December 04, 2020, 12:14:50 PM
It is cool that we are already taking about bigger and higher prices but what is marvelous is that 17k seems like a bad price right now. Be honest with yourself, if the price became 17k today, wouldn't the marketing and including you and me think that of a big crash coming? I mean 17k is very low compared to where we are, going under it would be very dangerous as well and would have broken many support lines as well.

It's because during that time $17k was a big wall in front of us. But now, this is low considering that we almost touch $20k already. But it's interesting to see this kind of thread just show that bitcoin price is really making a good headway this year.

So, when this topic was created 17k was a good news, but today 17k is a bad news. This is the type of hype we need, this is the type of increase in price we love to see, when something is awesome one day but the other day we are so high that previous price seems to be something bad.

Obviously, our next target is $20k++, still a long way to go. But we are in baby steps right now. And maybe we can see one day the price could be double next year at $34k. And then we go back in this thread and see how far we've got.
4163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If crowdfunding started from IEO on: December 04, 2020, 11:36:48 AM
I'm just curious, if IEO was the first crowdfunding that came out with full hype just like ICO in 2017 would there still be better trusts on new projects today? I believe that IEO delivers more trust through top exchanges and that's why they are still very much alive today compare to ICO, what do you say?

That's the only main difference, IEO was launch from reputable exchanges, but that's it. At the end of the day, just the same, hype, then investors flock to buy to push the price massively and then follow by a huge dump. And then delisted by the exchange that launch them, how ironic.

So nothing has change really, and probably the same people behind the ICO hype are the same people who created the hype around IEO in late 2019 to early 2020. Now we have the next hype, Uniswap and Defi.
4164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 03, 2020, 10:10:55 PM
WB and Beal? Hmmm. I don't know if it will work. Harden and WB didn't work and it's almost the same.
I'll just bite my tounge this time around as I can't tell what could really be the outcome or if there's synergy on both of them, we'll see that once the new season starts. This time Harden will never leave the Rockets, I assume that will be the case.

This really have got to be one of the weirdest trade that somehow felt right at one moment. Westbrook bring brought to Washington means that he will be creating plays that was meant for Wall but I know that Wall is more clutch than Westbrook and maybe we can see some chemistry after some games.
Lets just hope all these managers are creating their best decisions to at least create a great season ahead.

Nah, I don't think that Washington will stick to the old play design for John Wall, they are totally different and it won't work on WB here. And it's the worst thing a coach will do, used a design play for other players. Coaches are smart and that's why they are there, to create a new tactic for WB alone.

And I agree, yeah, it's a weird trade, but both players wanted to get out of their previous team, so it's easy to do the trade and then hope for the best result this season.
4165  Economy / Speculation / Re: Give me your predictions for the next long term peak, and why. on: December 03, 2020, 01:03:06 PM
I would never predict the Bitcoin price based on "peak multipliers" and how much the last price peak was above the last Bitcoin price around the last BTC halving. This doesn't seems like a legit analysis to me.
I think that the Bitcoin price will move in the 10K-25K USD price window during 2021-2022.
The corona recession is still here and the pandemic will not be over before the end of 2021.
Most of the investors are still very cautious and they will continue to be cautious and keep avoiding risky assets in the next 2 years.

If investors are very cautious then we shouldn't be getting in 5 digits because of the pandemic. But it is not the case, we have almost hit a new all time high, and thanks to covid-19, people are looking for an asset to hedge their wealth and bitcoin is the best offering they can find.

As for the tops, I wouldn't be surprised to see 6 digits but I would say that it will be most likely 2024 and not 2021/22.
4166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IF ONLY BOUNTIES WILL KEEP THEIR PROMISES. on: December 03, 2020, 12:30:03 PM
I'm pretty sure that bounty hunters really know all this stuff, but they chooses to ignore and make a gamble of every bounty projects they join because they think that we are still in the 2017 boom wherein being a bounty hunter will give them huge amount of profits.

And now that we are in the bull run already, again, they are hoping for a repeat, but I guess it won't happen as we have seen projects keep failing in the end, and only a few are just benefiting from it. Like the people behind, the whales and pump and dump groups.
4167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC announcement 3rd December 2020 on: December 03, 2020, 11:49:38 AM
The Brian Armstrong announcement had already taken it's effect on the market already that's why we have seen it plummeting to $16k. But since then, everything has settled down price seems to recovered on the 27th and now fluctuating to as high as $19,800 or so (there have might news that we have touch a new all time high).

It's already December 3rd today, no news from SEC, so I guess we won't hear anything as @Yogee has pointed out, it's about Covid-19 and has nothing to do with this so called custodial wallet regulations that Brian twitted.
4168  Economy / Speculation / Re: TO THE MOON! on: December 03, 2020, 11:22:28 AM
I would say we will definitely see something major in the end but how long will it take is still unknown. We have done great so far, but even the biggest bull runs have an end, we can't just go to one trillion dollars per bitcoin right? We know that we can't. So, that means there is a price where we will stop, obviously I didn't want to give a lower number because everyone has their own belief, some think 20k, some say 50k, some say 100k, and some say a million.

We're still far the bull run though, this is just the beginning to get into $20k, which is still not happening as of yet. So there could be a lot of re-test, re-tracement along the way to even get to $20k this year. But if everything didn't happen this year then we should be looking forward to 2021 as another chance for us to get into a new all time high.

I have always believed that whatever makes crypto market around 5-10 trillion dollars is our natural limit, that is around a big stock market combined level and I would say it is highly unlikely that we will go anywhere away from that, it would be too expensive if we managed to break over stock markets.

Possible though, with the way, institutional money is coming to crypto sphere, we might see in the future the market cap around $5-10 trillion easy and bitcoin now being compared to top companies like MicroSoft, Facebook or Tesla or Google as far as total assets is concern.

4171  Economy / Speculation / Re: December for moon on: December 01, 2020, 12:08:10 PM
We have been mooning ever since the massive drop during the March pandemic scare.

And it's just a matter of time before we reach more than $20k, this year, yeah, it could be done before the end of the year so yes, December could be another moon months to close this year.

But I think that 2021 will be the biggest as we could hit $30k-$40k tops. So don't get excited if we bitcoin goes to $20k this year, the real action would take place next year.
4172  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in Freefall, What to Do? on: November 30, 2020, 09:22:10 AM
For the most part I agree with you, but it should be noted that these few months sometimes turn into few years. At least for those investors who entered at levels close to ATH. However, I think that now there is only a small correction, but the trend remains the same.

We shouldn't be so calm and be careless about the situation there are possibility that the history will repeat itself these days remember what happen before where we think that the price will soar for more and those dumps is just correction so from this event maybe it's good to hold our positions and sell to cut loss and buy again to possibly regain again.

To my great regret, I got out of bitcoin at the level of 12600  Cheesy So now I am calm. In any case, I adhere to the strategy that it is better to save than to miss the profit, so I have no sorrows. At the moment, I do not understand where the market will go, so my capital is diversified and in fact I don't care what happens.

it's good to hear someone who got out early but isn't regretting it either, kind of surprising around here! I got out a very small amount at $18K and now price trades at $18.2, but I am also ok with this. I still think whether we go to $20K or $25K, we will have a serious retracement either way. Below the current price at least.

Yes, I agree that after we have $20k-$25k, retracement is bound to happened. Bitcoin currently hitting the resistance at $18,500, saw it go as high as $18,700 but then goes down to resistance.

Good though that at least we have someone who still as cool as cucumber even though we have a shakeout recently. Personally, I got around $18k, just few as I need some cash so no regrets at all as I still have some of my holdings. So let's see if we can stay at the resistance, or will it be too much wall in front that we can't get over.
4173  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase the most anti-Bitcoin organisation. Make #DeleteCoinbase great again on: November 30, 2020, 08:37:02 AM
Don't forget Brian's Armstrong tweet as well, pure FUD that causes the flash crash in recent days.

Good thing though that we have bounce back to $18k already. But I consider his tweet FUD that triggers the sell-off.

4174  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake XRP explorer on: November 30, 2020, 07:31:45 AM
You really have to admire the tenacity of these people, Lol.

First they have created a lot of fake XRP giveaways to trap us, now, they go one step further but creating a fake XRP explorer. So this is a very malicious website that you found here and again, this is a exact copy of the real XRP explorer that you can't really distinguished them by just looking at the website and definitely people might really fall for this scheme. Very nice find.

4176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In my school, Bitcoin is now becoming a subject on: November 29, 2020, 01:23:06 PM
Here, More top 50 universities are now offering blockchain courses.

But it's mostly in USA though, but I believed that other universities around the globe will recognised blockchain or crypto technology and they might include it as a regular in their curriculum. But I can't tell if they are going to focus on bitcoin though, probably could be inserted just a good example of what blockchain is and bitcoin as an example.

4177  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: November 29, 2020, 12:35:16 PM
Lol, there is already a good sign that a vaccine will come out next year so that is a good news already. And if it happens then definitely 2021 will be very positive regardless if Central Banks will continue to print money or not.

So we might see some economy growing in the latter part of next year, and off we go, the world will have a recovery and we could be back to normal.

For crypto, of course, lots of optimism because it might be the year that we might see a bull run, pushing the price to new all time highs.
4178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 29, 2020, 12:06:06 PM
Let's take a minute of silence and take a bow for those who bet on Tyson to win the fight and lost big time. Smiley

Lol, you don't need to rub it in.

This is off topic but Nate's fight was pretty epic too, there's a lot of memes coming out right now  Grin too bad there's no betting options for them. Anyway congratulations to Mike and Roy Jones they both did pretty well, Mike is still a beast at his age of 54.

He was hit on the top of the top, and pretty much as the announcer say, perhaps his trainer only teach him to punch, but not to play defense.

You can't do anything to Tyson it's either you will run or clinch to pass the time. It looks like Tyson's punches really hurts I think Tyson's is still up for another match. Are you guys wanted to see Mike fight again?

Post fight interview, you can see Jones, clinching his belly because of the effect of Mike's body punch, and he admit it that it really hurts. As far as wanting to see Tyson fight though, nah, probably in just an exhibition but not a full blown comeback fight because he will surely get destroys by the heavyweight of today.
4179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal is sending the wrong message on: November 29, 2020, 10:48:49 AM
It's pretty obvious by now, Paypal used to be against bitcoin, because they see it as competition, but as time goes by, it's becoming a threat that the best way is to take advantage of it by joining the bandwagon. But we all know that it is centralised by all means.

And now they are regarded as the new catalyst  for the next bitcoin bull run, win-win situation for them. They will definitely make a ton of money here. So definitely, it's better to just buy bitcoin and hold it on our wallet instead of using other third party platform like Paypal.
4180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 28, 2020, 01:11:34 PM
Let's get ready to rumble!
The images that are posted looks impressive, but i have seen the weigh ins and the face offs and the body looks depleted  Cheesy. I have no idea how this fight goes, may be both will swing for the fences and gasses out as i doubt the physical conditioning of Mike Tyson.
I did not find the bet in Stake when i checked, i might wage for a draw if there is an option available.

Lol, for those who wanted to see the weigh-in video here it is,

But I would say that Tyson looks fit that Roy Jones though, you can still see Tyson's abs visible as compare to Roy's who is very heavy around the belly. So I'm sure he will gas out first before Mike. Will not bet though, would rather enjoy this entertaining and interesting match.
