4161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 19, 2017, 06:28:42 AM
I'll bet on the Celtics to win vs Pacers. The Pacers are on a back to back and they lost the last time they faced the Celtics. It's a 40-60 match since their facing against a team who had a full day rest.

Edit : Adding over 207 on the Hornets match. Knicks are scoring at least 100+ this past few days while the Hornets maintain the scorelines close. I think the total will go 210 or higher. If KP won't play then this will be a low scoring game.
The Celtics won the game but they didn't cover, the pacers had a good run in the 4th quarter but were not able to complete the win.
I won in this game betting on the Pacers over 101.5 live, so lucky they score a lot in the 2nd half of the game, although Celtics are a really good team but we cannot underestimate the Pacers especially when they are playing at home.
They won the game but only by 1 point. Seeing how the Indiana Pacers move forward without Paul George is a good thing to see showing that they didn't let themselves lose in the deal. They have picked up a gem with Victor Oladipo as he is showing an all star performance which he scored during the game 38 points in 35 minutes of playing time. The Pacers having Oldadipo really gave them a good footing for their future.
4162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: France Wants G20 Nations to Discuss Bitcoin Regulation. on: December 18, 2017, 11:08:44 PM
I think that is good news for Bitcoin Users and Cryptocurrency Users in general. Looking at Regulating Bitcoin is better than banning Bitcoin. With these move we might see Bitcoin one day as one of the best choices for a payment method. People are scared of the word "regulation" as they know it will remove the benefit of Bitcoin being an anonymous currency but it is one of the feautures we must sacrifice in order for us and Bitcoin to move forward.
4163  Economy / Economics / Re: why is the price at localbitcoins so much higher? on: December 18, 2017, 04:55:49 PM
It is really up to the seller on how they dictate their prices however you should be warned that if prices are too good to be true and barely has a positive reputation with it you should not take the bait as it is most likely a scam a 2,100$ difference is really big and I don't think it is a good idea risking your money because they are offering a little difference. You should stick to people who have realistic offers with good reputation on their name as your Bitcoin is always on the line.
4164  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Can Be A Savior! on: December 18, 2017, 03:30:03 PM
Definitely bitcoin is a savior to those who have financial difficulties or who are those in poverty. Bitcoin may help people to have another source of income. They just need to gain extra knowledge, continue to learn and exert extra effort to have a good earnings. It also help the jobless to earn while staying at home, as long as you have the internet connection then for me i'll join bitcoin world because here bigger opportunity to earn if we are just eager enough and willing to earn for the future.

Of course, not only we earned money from here but also it's a source of learning. In fact, with this community it helps everyone to be more oriented about gambling and trading. But, mostly the reason why we're here is to have a good passive income which can be very helpful to everyone's life. Exactly of what you have thinking of, having this bitcoin it surely improved our life financially and we can be able to sustain our necessities.
This is a fact the jobless are earning money through Bitcoin and some serves it as their additional income. I know for my personal experience many people only have enough salary to cover every expense they have for the month giving them no money left to save or to invest with, but gladly they have Bitcoin to earn passively and gave them a little breathing space from all the expenses draining their money, it gave them money for entertainment and most importantly savings and investments which can lead them to having the financial freedom they desire.
4165  Economy / Economics / Re: Still Buying Bitcoin at $100K? on: December 18, 2017, 10:39:44 AM
I wonder if the popularity of Bitcoin will be it's downfall. It seems that when the price of bitcoin goes up, the transaction fees get even more expensive and it will become unusable for small transactions when the network is busy. Who fancies paying $15 to send $20 worth of currency?
The implementation of the Lightning Networks will able to solve it. I agree with you the the transfer fees are high and the way the sender will be the one to shoulder the transaction fee seems to be ridiculous. That is why if the Lightning Network will be a success Bitcoin will be headed to its way of becoming a global payment method joining the ranks of Paypal and Credit Cards.
4166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the factors that affect the rise and fall of the BTC? on: December 18, 2017, 09:18:36 AM
it seems clear that good and bad news can affect bitcoin prices.
which I want to ask why is there a lot of bad news about bitcoin recently?
what is their purpose to spread the word?
Yes, the news matters a lot. Recently we saw a bad news about bitcoin as you mentioned. Perhaps you were talking about the news that china is banning bitcoins. The price for bitcoin fell a lot these days after the news that china is banning bitcoin exchanges. I do not yet know the real news about this but i think this news was spread for making profits n selling bitcoins when they are high.

A small group of people can't change the price for bitcoins as the currency is now unreachable but it can be perhaps changes by a group of peoples or any association. This is the major pump and dump perhaps which would be used for making profits. The similar news was spread in 2013 about china banning bitcoins and even some peoples made a good profit in bitcoins by selling buying them at that time.
Well news are a factor on how it can affect the price of Bitcoin but have you seen the price lately? Every bad news from Bitcoin being banned as a mode of payment to bad comments by CEOs of big companies seems to be brushed off as the price is still surging that it looks like the bad news doesn't really affect the price at all. Bitcoin's price surge lately makes people who commented bad things about it eat their own words, it really now depends on how the market will react to the buying and selling pressures made by our co-traders.
4167  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Predictions on: December 17, 2017, 08:03:35 PM
Nice post bro although I think that price predictions will be useless for now as it totally is doing a surprising price movements, even if Novogratz have predicted somehow correctly there will be no assurance that the 40,000$ milestone will be hit at that time or will it ever be hit. Price predictions for a cryptocurrency are like a shot in the dark you can shoot wherever you want but the chances of missing is pretty high, that is why charts are still the best way to predict something.
4168  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-15] Malaysia Issues Digital Currency Regulations for Public Review on: December 17, 2017, 04:22:43 PM
Good thing that Malaysia had chosen this path about regulating and embracing Bitcoin as a currency, mode of payment, and a trading asset. Unlike one of their Asian neighbor where they chose to ban Bitcoin as a mode of payments as they just plainly connected it to terrorism. What the Malaysian Central Bank has done is the opposite as they have really taken in consideration both sides in which they can also benefit. If we really want our country to accept Bitcoin we must accept these kinds of regulations in order for the government and most importantly our economy to grow.
4169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS BTC Halal ? on: December 17, 2017, 02:41:59 PM
We all know that Halal is a thing to be cared about for a Muslim, I think when we can get money / bitcoin in a good way then I would say that it is HALAL and when we get Bitcoin in a bad way then I would call that a HARAM thing. That is the perception that is mentioned by many experts of Islamic religion, Halal is a process that we do so the way we get something / goods in accordance with Islamic religious teachings.

As the teachings we received earlier that everything that is prohibited by God and this will continue to be preserved and will determine how a Muslim can maintain his Islam. I strongly support a HALAL thing because I am also a Muslim and I want to obey the worship and run it all according to what is ordered by Allah SWT.
When you think of it Bitcoin is just a currency and aside from the common misconception in which it is tied as a dark web money that is use for buying drugs and other criminal services in its original function it is just money just like other Fiat currency where it is being used for those bad things way back before Bitcoin was created. For the Muslims I have little knowledge about their beliefs but the way I see how they can build a billion dollar business and adapt through change I think Bitcoin is permissible.
4170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to max out all credit cards months to buy BTC? on: December 17, 2017, 11:35:03 AM
Well it depends if you think you can profit from your trade as by doing so because as of right now Bitcoin is still on a uptrend and it is still unsure when it will correct. Keep in mind that you are making your credit rating on the line in which if you can't pay at the end will put you in a bad position, it is better of to only use what available money you have.
4171  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin the next big thing? on: December 17, 2017, 03:51:59 AM
The risk shouldn't be the question here as we all know what reward we can get if we executed the trade properly. As you can see Bitcoin is a good example of a high risk high reward type of investment/trade as people who buy at the right price will surely gain and people who buy it at a high price might even still gain as it is on a uptrend and there is no showing that Bitcoin it will correct. Now it will depend on the person if he is still willing to enter Bitcoin even when the prices are this high.
4172  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-22]The Elephant in the Room: Cryptocurrency’s Massive Bubble(s) on: December 16, 2017, 06:32:43 PM
Let us not criticize this experts as there definition of a bubble is by the book, what I mean abou that is all the criterias of a bubble is present in Bitcoin. From being an overpriced asset whiche its perceived value is higher than its real value, which is really hard to identify as Bitcoin as of right now still doesn't have any fair market value or even in the future as the asset exist virtually and the only thing determining its price is demand.

4174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: December 14, 2017, 03:58:11 PM
Well your problem is easy to solve. First off if you really don't want to give your details or share Bitcoin before you die your kind will benefit your Bitcoins by form of last will and testament with this mode you sure that your details and passwords will be safely and confidentialy  passed down to your family. The attorneys who will handle your last will and testament are duty bound and sworn to deliver your wealth to your family in the event you die.
4175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Schools Are Officially Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition on: December 14, 2017, 03:16:05 PM
Good thing that schools have recognized Bitcoin as a mode of payment in their country but what is the point of doing so?  Tuitions fees are supposed to be paid by fiat currency as it is more practical in terms of value being paid to the schools itself. Bitcoin as of right now is acting like and investment for us and this kind of investment will gonna be a waste if a certain portion of it will be paid for your tuition fee.
4176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will any Crypto Surpass Bitcoin on: December 14, 2017, 07:09:56 AM
There is a remote possibility that it could happen as Bitcoin is still growing and has not reach its climax yet. Growing in terms of gaining more popularity now, you can see that there is still a lot of people who don't know what Bitcoin is. Which means there is still a lot of potential demand in the future, this new people entering into the cryptocurrency market does not want to tryout other cryptocurrencies as they will always try what is the most popular out there which is of course Bitcoin.
4177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: December 14, 2017, 02:47:36 AM
Wow glad to see kawhi Leonard in the court again, but i do not expect great game for him because i know player came back from injury has a trauma and he need to get confidence again and make familiarization for his team mates, i think in the next game his game will back and help spurs give winning streak. Also wishing that he do not suffer for another injury again for the rest of the season.
He is looking good especially coming out from a right quad injury however he still needs to have limited minutes on the court especially he just returned to a serious injury. Hopefully Kawhi Leonard will become a beast this season with an improve team now. Definitely a contender for the Championship however the Western Conference is loaded with good teams making it a harder journey for them. The adjustments will soon come to Leonard as soon as the doctors will give them a green light to do so.
Not really a monster kawhi but it's understandable as he came from a serious injury and the team needs to adjust for him, as we know coach pop
he will make this team as a whole again, the dynamic team plays will bring the glory days of spurs, still believing with my favorite team, with tony,
manu, and kawhi together with aldridge and gasol.
He didn't play the usual number of minutes but the scoring is really good, if he can fully recover and will be limited extended minutes that will be the time that they will be hard to beat again, knowing coach pop, he protect the health of his player and what matters to him is the playoffs so they might not win a lot this season but it's enough to enter the playoffs, they can still be very dangerous.
Dude he scored 13 points in just 16 minutes of playing time, I don't know why he is not a monster with that kind of numbers. He also shoot 6 out of his 12 shots making hi shooting percentage 50%. Like what they said it is a process and he still need to blend in with the team as he hasn't been playing for a long time. Now what we need to see is how Popovich will blend in both Rudy Gay and Kawhi at the same time as they can really use to have a good small ball line-up to match Houston Rockets or the Golden State Warriors.
4178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction cost is too high on: December 13, 2017, 06:09:38 PM
The reason why it looks high right now is because Bitcoin's price is now above 16000$ making it look high as the value of Bitcoin is expensive. But in terms of Bitcoin it has still remained the same. The network fees in Coinbase are around 70,000-85,000 which I normally see even before Bitcoin reached the price of 3,000$. I really hope that the implementation of the Lightning Network will improve the fees and transaction speed. Right now it is best not to use Bitcoin as a mode of payment.
4179  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-12-13] Apple Removes Fake MyEtherWallet Which Hit No. 3 on App Store on: December 13, 2017, 04:44:31 PM
Good thing that Apple and its app store responded to something like this. A free of charge desktop wallet doesn't make sense to have a paid version. Much more it is developed not officially by MyEtherWallet itself making it unsafe to use as it is vulnerable to your accounts being hacked by the developers of the fake app. Sadly many people got carried away with this kinds of apps this day because we are now living in a more digital world making stealing more accessible without even robbing a store or a bank. Users need to be careful about these kinds of apps.
4180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: December 13, 2017, 03:34:39 PM
In my opinion, it is risky to turn all my money into bitcoin. Because the crypto world is volatile to the point that you won't know exactly when the price will go down or up. You can invest the small amount of money that you can afford to lose, so that you will not regret in the end.

Totally agree with you young padawan, never invest all your money into bitcoin, it has risen very much the last few weeks, and something that goes up must also come down, if you do invest a good amount of money you should invest into some of the better projects or altcoins, they have much potential and are way better than bitcoin if you talk about transaction fees and confirmations.
Additionally this guy is talking about his money from the bank which means it is his savings nonetheless. Never ever put all your savings on a volatile asset as it is really risky for your money to be there. Yes your money remains idle and depreciates overtime in the bank but it is better than making all your savings be vulnerable to big losses. Why not just try a portion of your savings in the cryptocurrency market first as it is better than going all in on something that is subject to too much of change.
