What if Satoshi Nakamoto comes back and moves his all bitcoins onto a exchange and puts them up for sale?

Would that crash the whole market?

yes it could drop the entire (bitcoin-)market and cause a lasting echo that will keep bitcoin at a low price for the rest of its existance.

additionaly it is suspected that satoshi and the big bitcoin miners association are bitcoins secret centre (decentral currency with centre  Roll Eyes)

and they are the main drivers behind the marketing propaganda, and social media fake bots that apprach people and spam them with bitcoin investment adivsory, the bull calls and pump and dump schemes.

so doing that would remove a lot of bitcoins centre, and there will be much less bitcoin advertisement in the internet, ultimately leading even more to bitcoins end.

I'm wondering what are people's thoughts on anarchism, could the world function if anarchism became a standard and what would it look like?

anarchism wil last exactly for 0.00000000001 seconds, then there will be businesses and farming corporations (root of societies economy) that form protective interest groups and their interest becomes new rule of law.

Gewagter Vergleich...

https://www.tagesspiegel.de/weltspiegel/cybermobbing-der-fall-drachenlord-offenbart-den-menschenhass-im-internet/22955444.html

Ohne Motivation/Grund macht man nichts.

4165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does a Successful ICO Really Require $$$$ on: September 04, 2018, 09:43:13 PM
Can I crypto company be successful with a min budget during the ICO? For example, can a startup not have funding and successful launch an ICO to include whitepaper, landing page, smart contract if they are knowledgeable? Or is a lot of $$$$$$$ required for everything. I for one thing that the idea and vision is what sells. Especially if the person is transaparent and people buy in the vision. I think word of mouth will travel and people will buy in.

an ico can also be successful without a budget,

its however more difficult to find and keep teammembers, and get certain tasks done as you cant hire a serviceman.

4167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should Bitcoin mining be legal in Venezuela? on: September 04, 2018, 08:01:17 PM
Venezuela has a massive problem with their declining economy. Any foreign earnings would seem to be beneficial and should be encouraged by the government. Bitcoin mining offers a means to utilise their low electricity costs to generate what is effectively a hard currency, but the government is making Bitcoin mining illegal, and imposing severe penalties on miners, and confiscating mining rigs. I would have thought that encouraging miners to earn Bitcoin, and offering to exchange this through a government controlled exchange, would boost the national income as well as helping to stabilise the new currency.

an economy just don't decline like that there are usually important reasons for that,

socialism in this case. there is no point working for venezueland money as its worthless. and the government completely incompetent, it only enriches itself (petro)

lol what a question it depends what dimensions you seek to produce and what kind of quality, and the location, the employees, its an od question and can only roughly be answered, you should ask special electric industry engineers not us here, this is ridiculous.
Do you realize that the OP was from 2014 and only brought up by a newbie?
Anyways, the newbie's question seems valid.

Luckily, he left an email address on his profile: marshall@finalhash.com, you might be able to contact him through email.

nope i didnt knew that, the question seemed to general to me so i answered, its not regular occurence in this forum that newbies get dusty topics out of the dust.
4170  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Petrol is virtually free in Venezuela, but not for long. on: September 04, 2018, 06:06:39 PM
venezuela = socialism = fail,

the fact that venezuelans are now,

1. sacrificing their socialist worker build infrastructure to mine bitcoin

and

2. sell of their socialist provided oil.

will lead to utter destruction of that country.

foreigners might soon have to colonialise that country again like several hundred years ago with a bunch of savages left there.

Alibaba Has Filed for over 10% of the World’s Blockchain Patents: Research
China’s ongoing drive to dominate the emerging global blockchain technology sector has been underlined by news that Alibaba Group Holding alone filed more than 10 percent of all blockchain patents worldwide in 2017.

Intellectual Property Rights Arms Race
Research by Thomson Reuters shows that 56 percent of all 406 blockchain patents issued around the world in 2017 came from China, with the United States a distant second with 22 percent. Combined with the rapid rise in blockchain patent filings from 134 in 2016 to 406 in 2017, the data tells a story of an ongoing intellectual property rights race that China is currently winning convincingly.

The Nikkei Asian Review reports that of the 406 blockchain patents issued in 2017, Alibaba alone filed 43, with other Chinese tech giants like Tencent and Baidu also dominating the list of blockchain patent owners.

The US still leads China in terms of overall number of blockchain patents filed, but China is fast closing the gap, and on an annual level China is actually in the lead.
https://www.ccn.com/alibaba-has-filed-for-over-10-of-the-worlds-blockchain-patents-research/

patenting in blockchain is jsut scam its not decades or centuries long high cost research like in aviation engineering, its just some thinking and writing down.

they shouldn't claim to do patens
4172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downsides to crypto on: September 03, 2018, 11:38:20 PM
If and when cryptocurrency and/or bitcoin becomes the official currency of the world, do you think there will be a downside to it? If so, what do you think the negative effect will be once cryptocurrency becomes a worldwide currency?

lol bitcoin cannto be the worlds leading currency, as it doesnt work for the worlds economic managment

if it would become the worlds dominant currency people all over the world would be enslaved to the bitcoin miners, and the bitcoin miner cartel would then rule the world. especially the biggest miners.

sooner or later people will get rid of their enslavement of constantly having to serve and run the huge mining facilities for those owner (oligarchy)

and do a revolution

i have a picture of that bitcoin centristic world

Liebe Community,

4174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Definition for bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater on: September 03, 2018, 10:57:32 PM
Hello folks,

I often discuss with friends and family about newspaper articles where banker, politicians and ceos give their options about the future of bitcoin.
Bankers speak mostly against bitcoin and spread FUD. People who work in the information industy often like the idea.

What do you say? Is there a definition of bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater? And how would you describe them?

bitcoin doesnt has to be formally opposed anymore the market is so diverse, opposing bitcoin publicly only gives it attention, what has to be done is adressing the cryptoindex mafia. that prevents listening or acceptance of certain coins that have higher marketcapitalisation than bitcoin.

I would like to ask ( btw I have not even a single clue so don't hesitate to eli5 this)

How much capital would one need to start a business and get asic chips at lowest price from a manufacturer or make one yourself?

I am guessing (assuming?) getting couple of chips and reverse engineer it and make thousands of the same stuff would be costly if not impossible.

So lets assume this scenario , I get 10-20 scrypt asic miner chips , pay someone to reverse engineer and find out how its made , go to a chip factory with him , explain the manufacturer how it should be made with him and pay them to make couple thousand at least. How much capital would this take?

Or any other example you might have in your mind.

TL;DR , how much would i need to have to become next asicminer, gawminer company.

lol what a question it depends what dimensions you seek to produce and what kind of quality, and the location, the employees, its an od question and can only roughly be answered, you should ask special electric industry engineers not us here, this is ridiculous.

bitcoin mining in venezuela as in china will have vast consequences for the social fabric of that country, they will lose all socialist workers that cared for the infrastructure there.

as they will lose trust in the population, the future development of the country and social security. stop work, and become capitalists themselves they then will check carefully which currency they accept and the entire country will consist of new carpet pyramid systems abusing the others as money earning cattle.

it would make no one rich but only waste ressources.

additionally mining bitcoin in venezuela would be completely pointless as they would never be able to posses and install the computation power, they dont have an it industry and their climate makes efficient installation too expensive. they will lose in this competition against miners in china, or the west or russia

i am absolutely no friend of these pow token they are all garbage
4177  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Could use graphic designer for Good Project under development on: September 02, 2018, 09:33:16 PM
I remember one man (graphics designer) wanted to join any project here, so I'll link you his thread, contact him yourself: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4941050.0
I can suggest you that Envato and DeviantArt are best digital places in this world to find awesome graphics designers, guys here are very, very creative and their works are beautiful, amazing. It's hard to find those people too because this is crypto related forum (despite the fact that we use GPUs for mining, graphics designers are in another world).

i doubt he is what i am looking for i need teammembers that help me build a great cryptoproject to fruittion, like sathoshi had with the bitcoiners, or vitalik with ethereum, to improve the cryptoeconomies social fabric and image with a new top 20 token, not money earning cattle, comming just to me for the money not looking at the bigger whole of the project and concept, but just at a tiny fraction of the task.

Yes, I would like to improve crypto-economy. To be honest, I do not know what to do for this. I would have liked to have taken some courses on cryptoeconomics. And then, if something depends on me. I will then make every effort to improve cryptoeconomics.

i am giving you the opportunity its called

pump & establish

its a strategy that is legal, important, useful and make the cryptoindustry, and global econmy better

i am engineering the world's forst 2Dimensional cryptocurrency, i need organic volume to establish it in the market.

the trick we do this is easy

the token will be created with a huge number of token similar like tron,

we then need a critical amount of volume this give the token quickly a huge marketcapitalisation it pumps up quickly into the top 50 or even top 20/10

where the annoying drama queen token like bitcoin cash are the currency project gets then automatically more and more attention and the currency gets established.

pls if you are a pump and dump speculator pls stay away from this.

this is the creation of a professional value sources engineering token.
