4181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The houses always win, are you the house or the gambler? on: August 20, 2021, 11:00:17 PM
No businessman will make a business when they know that they will lose all of their money there.
What is the purpose why they are building a business?? In order for them to earn money right?

In gambling industry, the house always wins because they are playing with the emotions of the gambler. A gambler who can't control himself will always gamble and gamble until he losses his last amounts of money because of greed, desperation to win money, and lack of self-control. The house wants that because they are earning thru it and when bad things happened to that gambler, they aren't the ones to blame with Cheesy.

I think this is pretty obvious that the house always win because its a business and no business will be made and then will lose in the end. I've never heard of any big gambling casinos though that ended up bankrupt Cheesy. All of them are always winning. As for me, I'm a poor gambler that uses only a small amounts of money when it comes to gambling and I'm gambling only few times in a month.
4182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Youtube Scam? on: August 20, 2021, 10:43:17 PM
btc is the future

i made a ton of money investing in btc with so and so person

then you see someone post someones whatsapp or phone number and say contact this person if you want to make money
Typical scammers that are scamming on Youtube.
Unfortunately because of these scammers, there are some youtube channels that are either terminated or deleted by the youtube themselves because of spamming that they aren't doing too. Its the scammers fault but these are just poser accounts so... yeah just don't fall into these whatsapp shit saying on the platform.

First off, all these comments are from people or are they bots?  I notice even on twitter when it comes to politics, you see these accounts post comments where it sounds like a bot... then you see other users who post the same exact thing.

I assume the scam here is you then contact that persons whatsapp or phone or telegram, then they ask you for money... then you get scammed?
Its possible that these are bots though I believe that there are some who are doing it manually by just copy pasting.
Whether its twitter, youtube or even facebook. I've seen this kind of scammy replies to your comments numerous times already and I always ignore them because its a 101% scam.
Just ignore if you see the word "Whatsapp" or they are referring you to another person because for sure it is a scam.
4183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Undervalued Coins on: August 19, 2021, 02:39:17 PM
I want to invest in altcoins, but on undervalued coins, what do you think if I buy XLM, Will it go hight when the market is bullish now? Can XLM rise to $2 by the end of this mont?
Another newbie investor asking for something that only him can answer Cheesy.
If we will say yes to this, will you invest?? If we say that XLM can rise 2$ or even 3$ will you invest into it?? If we say that it will reach ATH by the end of the year will you invest into it??

Ok lets say you invested into it and then the it didn't went the way you want to, who will you blame with the money that you lost?? You will blame us because we gave you a wrong answer with your question which is TBH doesn't have any answer at all because we don't know the answer either.

Do some research and don't ask things like that to us Smiley. Google is your friend. Decide for yourself, don't ask here so that you will not blame somebody if you lost your money.
4184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 19, 2021, 02:23:09 PM
Manny Pacquiao has it all, I mean you can see his boxing records and his amazing performance every fight and for me he is the greatest boxing fighter of all times. Unless the fight is gonna be rig, my bet would always be ln Manny Pacquiao because he never disappointed us in his previous fights. I made a lot of money in him with my friends betting on who's gonna win in his every fight before.

My bet is that he is going to dominate this coming fight again and make his opponent give up after few rounds.
Pacquiao's team is saying that they will Knockout Ugas.
Ugas' team said that Pacquiao can't do that because he is ready.

Both teams are ready. Its an honor for Ugas to fight the legendary boxer but I think that he will not win against PacMan. Many are saying that he is old enough and he can't fight anymore but he defeated the undefeated Thurman and Matthysse. Even though many are betting for Manny to win here because its obvious that he is the real bet to win here, still anything can happen and a single perfect punch coming from Ugas might change the momentum of the fight Smiley. Lets see what will happen coming Saturday still. I might bet on Pacquiao too Cheesy.
4185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $48k the next Bitcoin benchmark? on: August 19, 2021, 02:16:01 PM
The general cryptocurrency market has been exciting, with Bitcoin gaining an all-time high of $46k since may 2021 in April Bitcoin made an all-time high of above $65k before correcting down to below $30k in mid-April.
Will $48k Bitcoin price be achievable this week?
One week has passed and Bitcoin didn't hit the $48,000 price.
It went near to that price though but throughout the whole week, its obvious that it is a good sign and we've already seen some green candles.

As for me, since we've seen Bitcoin went near to that price and even though Bitcoin is dipping as of this moment I believe that $48,000 isn't the benchmark. I believe that it will reach higher price not with the week that OP has shared though but in the succeeding weeks. I think it will go to near $50,000 in 2-3 weeks Cheesy. My prediction only.
4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 19, 2021, 01:49:03 PM
Pat Beverly to be traded again, this time to Timberwolves, second time in as many days that Pat has moved.

https://twitter.com/wojespn/status/1427646798089359361

Yeah, he could play PG for the Wolves and he said via his twitter that he is happy with the trade. Wolves is a young team and Pat will be a good match because of his experience and his tenacity.

Hope to see him happy when he already playing with the Wolves,

That team was already a good contender back then, when they still have Wiggins, KAT, DRose and Butler. But they did not maintain that squad instead, they trade those stars to another team and until now, the process of bringing good role players to work with KAT still unsuccessful. Maybe Pat may add some good spice for them.

KAT's talent can be used somewhere, he can win a championship if he leaves Minnesota Timberwolves. It's not yet late for him though, just like Kevin Love back then, he was averaging a double-double but the team is unsuccessful, however, when he transferred to the Cleveland Cavaliers, that's where he got his championship.
I'm pretty sure that he will get a championship once he leaves the Timberwolves but his current contract right now with the team is until 2024.
When Love leave the TWolves and joined LeBron in the Cavaliers, he got his championship there and I'm sure that the same will happen to KAT. Let him join to a team where there is at least 1 superstar or an average team maybe that is entering the playoffs.

Acquiring Beverley will not change anything with the team. There defense might increase with the addition of him but still it isn't enough for them to be at least a playoff contender. I just hope that KAT will be traded to another team because his career will just go to waste if he stays there unless the Wolves will get another superstar that will help him then he might stay.
4187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: August 19, 2021, 01:22:33 PM
I don't see any bad thing about teaching your children earning anything that is related to earning whether it will be related to crypto or related to stocks or related to investing in general.
This is the problem of most of our parents right now. I also experienced how my parents teach me when it comes to money and earning money. They've taught me the usual one (study hard, work as an employee).

Its a good thing that I learned crypto because it opened me to different investment. Crypto is the first investment that I learned followed by Stocks and its a good thing too that I didn't follow what my parents want me to do. On the kid's perspective, its good to see that he is being supported by his parents in mining and he is earning much much money Cheesy. I will promise to myself that I will also teach not only my children but other children too anything related to crypto Cheesy.
4188  Economy / Speculation / Re: The "what's causing this price increase/decrease?" thread on: August 18, 2021, 01:50:33 PM
tldr; supply and demand

Not sure if that was supposed to be a smartass'ish answer...
This might be the smartass'ish answer like you said but that three words speaks it all.
There is no need to answer your question with a paragraph that consists of 5 sentences or more or anything because as an investor, that must be the first thing that you must've know.

So what's causing these dips now? Any particular reason?
Possible that many of the holders or those who bought Bitcoin at the near $30,000 price sold some if not all of their holdings. Dips, corrections and massive downward movement are all normal when it comes to cryptocurrency and that is also the reason why people are earning many profits Smiley.
4189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 18, 2021, 01:33:42 PM
Investing in NFT games especially in the new ones are like investing into meme coins.
For sure many invested into meme coins months ago right and many got their profits in a short amount of time. Unfortunately, many people lost their money too just by investing into those meme or shitcoins.

There is no difference here in NFT games. Investing into new NFT games is very risky and there will be some games who will make their way to rug pull but there are some who will continue their services and will become a successful NFT game. Investing in NFT games is for me considered gambling only if the game is new, kinda shady and not transparent. There are some NFT games out there who are established already like Axie Infinity.
4190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: August 18, 2021, 01:19:16 PM

The technology is like a knife that has two faces. If we can use it with the right, we will get the benefits, but we can drag into a crime if it is not.

Yes, it happened in many places. I see not just gambling, but many are too open about sex and sarcasm and can not respect older people. I do not know if their parents do not teach about that, but I realize that it is because of a wrong association with their friends.

Hopefully, parents can realize that their kids are too important because if they can teach good to their kids, they will have children who are devoted to their parents.

I agree with your thoughts, that why parents should really be able to supervise and direct their children properly in every use of the internet today, if parents are careless in providing good education for children, it will certainly make the child have bad behavior later , especially now that the government recommends doing online learning, and children get the freedom to use their laptops, smartphones or tablets and if there is no strict supervision of course they will access bad things in between their study time, in my opinion, 80% of children today are smarter in accessing the internet than their parents.
In today's world, parents are becoming careless for some reasons that is why they can't supervise their children most of the time and knowing that most of the people are using the internet there really is a high chance that they might see some gambling sites or anything that is related to gambling.

Some possible reasons why parents can't supervise their children is:
1. Work - This is the main reason. Parents go to their work leaving their children with either their maids or any of their relatives who are just watching them and aren't seeing what they are doing in their gadgets.
2. Parents themselves - There are some parents out there who really is careless thus, children will have a higher chance of getting exposed to these gambling sites or gambling apps.

On the other hand though, there might be a chance that whenever the child see that site they will be curious and will ask to their parents if what is that site or app. As a parent, you must know what are the good and bad things the child must know and these gambling apps or sites are a bad thing for them Smiley.
4191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 18, 2021, 12:48:15 PM
JaVale McGee!!!
https://www.nba.com/suns/suns-sign-javale-mcgee
Suns just recently signed him in their roster. It adds more energy in the bench. Also, we remember how the Suns were having troubles looking for a back-up for Ayton after Saric was injured. This could be their guy. 3-4 minutes for every quarter just to give Ayton the breather, protect the rim and try to not make any mistakes.
1-year, $5 million. Cool.
Well, I know that they will make a move like this already because they almost win the championship already if only they have a reliable 2nd center.
Now with the addition of McGee, the Suns Backcourt will be stronger now because of him. He improved already thanks for the Warriors and he isn't the McGee years ago where he is the star of Shaq-Tin A Fool Cheesy.

I just hope that the Suns and Coach Williams will make use of him more often and give him some minutes .
4192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin on: August 18, 2021, 11:05:04 AM
The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?
In everything, comparing 2 things to us people is completely normal.
People tend to compare this to this where in fact, both aren't comparable to each other.

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are different in their own ways. Bitcoin has been used as a store of value while Ethereum has been used for smart contracts. Both of them are very good coins to invest with but making both of them as rivals is kinda nonsense at least for me. One thing more is that Ethereum can't beat Bitcoin in terms of market cap but both of them have similarities and differences. There is a part where Bitcoin excels and there is a part where Ethereum excels too.
4193  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: August 17, 2021, 02:23:32 PM
~
Am I the only one who feels happy when I read the phrase "Crypto has now gone mainstream". Cheesy
One of the best decisions that I've made in my life was involving myself into crypto. Learning at least the basics of it and then trusted it. Invested a considerable amount, held it and now I'm happy that I got the profits that I want and it took me years before I got it Smiley.

Crypto isn't in its adoption stage anymore and many will agree into it. Many people are searching it online, many people are curious about it, many people who are using the internet are now searching for ways to get started into crypto. The only problem though is that, those people who neither don't have any smartphones or don't have any access to the internet don't know about crypto but overall I'm just happy with what is happening right now with the crypto space.
4194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin faces strong resistance to reach $50k? on: August 17, 2021, 02:03:17 PM
Just seeing it moving above the 21 Weekly Moving Average at the end of the week is a big bullish signal already.

We might see a short dump but I think that as long as Bitcoin remain above the 21 Weekly Moving Average then the chances of it going towards the upside is higher. Near $49,000 is the strong resistance so lets just say that the $50,000 is the strong resistance. We might break it in the succeeding weeks knowing that Bitcoin is moving upwards for 4 straight weeks already Smiley. I just hope that this continues and for those who bought at near the bottom or at the bottom then congratulations Smiley. Got some profit right now to buy some coffees Cheesy.
4195  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The recent surge in Covid-19 is making vaccine makers to have a rethink on: August 17, 2021, 01:45:15 PM
A new vaccine for a new strain of virus normally takes around 3 years at least for it to be done. The vaccines that have been created right now took only a year and knowing that viruses are slowly mutating and we're seeing it already, I just hope that the vaccine makers thought of this.

There are some vaccines that are also effective against the new variants of the virus like the Delta and the Alpha but I agree with what most people said here. Being vaccinated is one of the keys for the people not to get infected of the virus or if they will be infected then at least they will have just mild symptoms. I personally didn't take any vaccine here for some reasons but I'm not going outside either at all. I'm also taking Vit. C pills for immunity at least but there will be a time that I will take 2 dozes of vaccines too.

I think being healthy will help you to have a herd immunity. It will take time though.
4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 17, 2021, 01:18:07 PM
Steph Curry really changed the shooting in NBA. Even those big man follows him.

But you know guys, Steph just improves his own since he can't do something inside. He thinks of a way how can help a team and that is by improving his three-point skills. And the result is great so he will continue doing that.
Changing the league isn't his main purpose on why he shoot threes but it follows through it since his way of helping his team is thru three point shots because its obvious that a three is better than a two points.

Lets face it. He changed the league in terms of shooting. We've seen many big players dominating the paint back in the days and a three point shot is rarely done unlike the current generation where there are teams who are shooting more threes than twos like the Rockets 2018-2019. Many people are doing what he is doing and even I myself is imitating his moves and even his three point shooting and even his stroke of shooting Smiley. That's how big the effect of what Curry has been done in the NBA and in the basketball world.
4197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network? on: August 17, 2021, 01:00:59 PM
Anyone know anything about Pi Network?
Will it really hit the market?
What do you think of Pi Network?
The project is existing for around 1-2 years already.
The project has no product at all.
It is also full of hype right now and people are falling into it.
There is no investment though but putting your personal information on their platform and giving it to the "strangers" is a bad thing.
People are saying that it will reach 100$ which is total bullshit.

Even one of the team members of the project is afraid because once it will be listed on an exchange, many miners will immediately sell it into the market causing its price to plunge very hard. Of course that is inevitable knowing that you can get the coin simply just by mining. Few clicks and you will mine but that isn't mining at all. Overall, shady project will not invest into it and will not touch it at all.
4198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment? on: August 14, 2021, 02:55:42 PM
What do you think? Is BNB a good long-term or short-term investment? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
One of the best if not the best crypto exchanges right now.
Offering different features on their platform that includes fiat payments, staking and many more.
Top 3 or top 4 right now on CMC base on market cap.

With Binance's success, I believe that this will be a good for a long term investment. Exchange coins are still good to hold if you will ask me especially these coins that have a huge reputation in crypto exchange industry. I also believe that more feature will be added on their platform thus, more users will come and use it.
4199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 01:31:43 PM
There are many factors that might stop me from gambling but these are 2 of the top reasons why I stopped gambling.
I gambled a lot 2 years ago. A huge portion of my signature campaign earnings are going to a gambling site and I will bet it on NBA games. My short gambling journey didn't end up well but I didn't felt any regret or disappointment on it. Anyway here are the 2 reasons.

1. Money - I'm not the only one whose problem whenever they are gambling is money. All of us wants to gamble but not all of us are capable of gambling many times because of financial problems.
2. Priorities - I have many priorities in life and in which most of them needed money and I want to put my money into something that I prioritize with rather than something that will just made me fun or not fun TBH but nothing in particular.
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: August 14, 2021, 01:04:16 PM
I have my own thing to check is that if I can stay away for a week and not login to the gambling sites means I am doing well. As well since I do not just run or play to only make money and more to just have more fun and make few friends worldwide and know them etc just helps so that you are not really addicted or cannot stay away from it. If I decide today for next week I would not be login and can manage to do that means nothing to worry for me.

This is another height of strong decipline. Having a strong control over your actions is a way of keeping your self in check and noticing if you are getting addicted or not. Staying a week without gambling a your own will is really a good checkmate for how much control you have over your passion and this if applied to other areas of life will give you a good life result.
I like that somewhat challenge towards addicted gamblers out there.
If you aren't an addicted one, can you stop gambling for a week. If you did then you aren't.

I don't think that many gamblers whether they are addicted or not can do it. One week without gambling especially if gambling is already their hobby would be hard for them to do and I understand them since its their own self and own life. We've seen many effects of gambling addiction and many gamblers who got addicted didn't ended up good. Some are still rehabilitating until now, some are still gambling out there, some became crazy and worst some even committed suicide. Don't let yourself get addicted into gambling Smiley. Being addicted into gambling will not give you any benefits at all.
