4185  Economy / Exchanges / Circle.com says "no fees" but it looks like they mix 1% on top of their spot on: April 29, 2016, 03:39:34 PM
Circle spot price is currently $457... which is way higher than any other exchange or OKcoins average price indicator.

Sure seems like they mix their "fee" in their spot price and then hit real fees on top of debt/credit cards.

Has anyone seen Circles spot price near actual spot price?
4186  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: My Paypal for your Bitcoins. $450 Available. All trades welcome. 0% mark up! on: April 29, 2016, 03:32:11 PM
So you have $450 available or $50 as of now?
I would be up for a smaller amount for now to see how it goes when it comes to the fees.

$470 actually now.

I'm reusing this thread from the other day... I really should remake threads.

I can do any size trade you want and all (if any) fees come off your end.  Funds sent Friends/Family.

$469 now

Wow look at that shit! how much money is that? crazy. And the address doesn't stop receiving more and more coins! everyone is speculating already. Some people has been doing research and one theory is it may be a OKCOIN cold storage address, but why wouldn't they split accross other addresses to not create a millionaire address which always raises the eyebrows of curious people and in general? I mean it's pretty crazy.

The fact that there's a lot of people talking about this right now and investigating proves the quick need of Confidential Transactions and Coinjoin. Imagine if it was your business and everyone was speculating and researching on your money movements! Please Core devs give us more privacy soon!

That is OKCoin.com's wallet.

They only have 3,984 BTC in there atm, but 1.8 million has rolled around it.

4190  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legality of firearms sales utilizing bitcoins on: April 28, 2016, 03:10:20 AM
Alrighty, thanks.

Since you are a legitimate gun sale business and due to the complexities of this matter,
I would still recommend that you contact a lawyer within your jurisdiction who is knowledgeable
about money transmission in large amount in relation to sale of guns. There are probably legal
reasons why businesses such as bitpay do not accept BTC conversions from gun sale businesses.
It is most likely not related to moral or ethical issues but due to other legal regulations.

If you accepted BTC as payment for guns, you are fine. The legal issues stem from when you decide
as a business, to convert that BTC into fiat. There are potential other issues as well. Personally,
I would not recommend accepting BTC as payment for your guns at this time, in your state.
Depending on the interpretation, you may still need a money transmission license.

The question you need to ask is if accepting BTC and not getting a proper legal opinion beforehand
to save money outweighs the risk of governmental legal action & hurting your life/business.

Of course, I am not providing a legal opinion and I have made you aware that you should seek out
counsel within the jurisdiction in which you wish to do this business and seek a legal opinion as to
these and other potential issues.

You won't need a money lic in order to receive Bitcoin payment for goods.

Just sell that shit man and ship it FFL to FFL. Cheesy

Sell the Bitcoins to me or other peer to peer folks.

I love the way Bitcoins feel after a legal firearm trade.

Arkansas is hands down one of the best places to be selling firearms from and the best laws.

4192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Speculation on: April 27, 2016, 09:00:31 PM
BTC-e is fairly picky who they add... I'm sure they and the people selling their LTC for ETH disagree with you.
4193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Speculation on: April 27, 2016, 08:58:23 PM
Look, an idiot Ether bagolder trying to lure people into buying/pumping his shitcoin he bought at $15.

Actually I've never bought, held or put a single order on ETH.  Roll Eyes
4194  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legality of firearms sales utilizing bitcoins on: April 27, 2016, 08:35:14 PM

All gun sales are legal, I will soon be an registered FFL in Arkansas, although gun sale laws are mostly federal and not state.

I live in Arkansas as well... in fact I think my old house was right down the street from you if I recall.

I called the state after the Shreveport father/son got in trouble in regards to the unregistered exchange.  They said as long as you aren't:

A:  Brokering Bitcoin deals between different parties.

B:  Selling Bitcoin as an investment.

C:  Not running a website exchange.

Then you wouldn't have any problem selling peer to peer.

I spoke to the traders who got in trouble and they said it was the FEDS who fucked with them... not the state. (localbitcoins.com/p/internet151)

Should be fine dealing with Bitcoins and guns.  I've sold a handful of guns for Bitcoin with no issues.
4195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Speculation on: April 27, 2016, 08:24:04 PM
ETH has been on BTC-e for less than 24 hours and has 115.4 BTC on the bid compared to LTC 750.51 btc bid.

Covered my Bitcoin short this morning and shorted the shit out of LTC quarterly futures.

They are still trading above spot by about 25 cents.

Headed to $3.5.

ETH/DASH added to BTC-e.  I figure people will be selling LTC trying to get on those as well.

Why would they? ETH has been on many other exchanges. If people wanted to buy those shitcoins, they would have done so a long time ago.

Better theory: BTC-e added those shitcoins to give people an opportunity to dump those scam/ipo/ponzi coins before they completely die out.

My theory is that they are adding these other Altcoins to start trying to gain some volume.

If I was a LTC hodlers... I think that I'd be liquidating for something that at least had a forum.

4199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 27, 2016, 02:28:44 PM
I think we see $440-450 and quarterly future back to $10 over spot.

Still expecting another $10 down fairly soon.

Quarterly futures are tightening up.

How would quarterly futures affect the price so much though?

The people who are trading spot trade futures well.

You'd probably earn more Bitcoin than the sell off costs by shorting and buying back when you forced liquidation.
