Actually .... imagine if he mistype, wanted 291 BTC Transaction & 0.0001 fees ... more legit, no ? Just poking fun at Bitcoin, the most secure currency on Earth. "Tightrope is the safest possible way to get around, protecting you from everyday dangers like molasses floods. All known tightrope accidents have been due to poor tightrope implementation and/or user error " @BayAreaCoins: your calls have been weirdly spot-on lately.

I think we see $440-450 and quarterly future back to $10 over spot.
Still expecting another $10 down fairly soon. Quarterly futures are tightening up. How would quarterly futures affect the price so much though?

Track? You mean neither the sender nor the recipient of the ~$140k are aware of the mistake?

You'd probably earn more Bitcoin than the sell off costs by shorting and buying back when you forced liquidation.

Well good morning Bitcoinland. I see we finally got a real correction after a month of steadily rising prices, a massive $10 crash, all the way down to where we were the day before yesterday. LOL Needless to say, the bears/trolls are having a picnic. Back to $470 by tomorrow? That might send them back home:

It usually happens because someone who doesn't understand how change transactions work in bitcoin tries to spend a portion of the funds in a paper or brain wallet. If you send funds from a paper or brain wallet, you need to make sure to send ALL of it at once to your wallet, then spend a portion from that. When you spend bitcoins, the amount you spend comes out of chunks you have received (inputs), and usually, there will be at least two outputs - one is the spend, and the other is the change, which is sent back to an address you own. If you create a transaction that spends from one or more inputs without spending ALL of the funds contained in those inputs, and you don't provide an output to a change address you own, any funds in the inputs that exceeds the spend will become transaction fees paid to the miner that mines the block containing the transaction. All software and hardware wallets, as far as I know, handle that stuff for you, and yes, Core, at least, will warn you if you try to send with an excessive manual fee.

Yeah! My buy limit orders went through , time to wire more fiat for another round of buys. These shakeouts don't scare veterans who have been riding the rollercoaster for some time, just another buying opportunity.
My guess is we'll see a second round of dumping, and since I am not going to act on this suspicion, it is bound to become reality. I don't need to waste any calories guessing. The beauty about a long term perspective is you don't concern yourself with the daily ups and downs, you don't get emotional, simply load in more fiat and set the buy limit for 2-5% below current price and wait for the next shakeout. Rinse and repeat. Smart investors will be doing this aggressively for anything below 1200 USD... It is all dirt cheap now! Why do it the easy way when you can torture yourself?

^Meanwhile, Ether Parties!Ethereum (ETH) $7.85 ( 8.99% ) *please don't misconstrue this as investment advice. Bitcoin is still the most respectable, albeit somewhat outdated, cryptocurrency. In the cryptosphere, it's what our own investment pro and all-around intelligent person LBGTA would describe as a "widows and orphans fund"

Well look who's back. I was worried something had happened to you. What's it been? 3 weeks? You missed all the fun of a great little month-long bull run. Hopefully you were too busy accumulating bitcoins to bother with posting here. Seeing the pathetic result of today's frantic attempt to stop the rally, we've still got a long way to go. All those ask walls at $466, $476, $483, $490, $493, etc., were pulled for a massive dump and it barely put a wrinkle in the price. Too bad it's not enough of a dip for me to consider buyable. I hope I don't regret not buying more while the price is still below $500, but I did stock up pretty nicely when the price dipped below $200 and while it was still under $300.

You can now Pay for Steam Games with Bitcoin, adding an all new payment method to the gaming platform. Bitcoin has been rarely discussed positively in the news lately, but the cryptocurrency still remains one the most used digital currencies out there, with no competing standard being anywhere near as popular or widely used as bitcoin. Bitcoin has been added to several digital storefronts over the past few years, with Steam being the latest online storefront to adopt it. At this time, it is thought that Valve are using the third party BitPay company to handle all Bitcoin transactions, automatically converting the digital currency into more standard currency like USD or GBP. http://www.overclock3d.net/articles/gpu_displays/you_can_now_pay_for_steam_games_with_bitcoin/1woaaaaa
