The money is just a bonus.
Signature can be shut down or even the forum can be shut down by admin. Signature is another bonus for forum users. Each day we wake up, log in account and see we can have signature, it is a beautiful day but it is not bad if we will no longer see signature.

No signature then less spam (from bounty spammers).

I have a smartband, connected with the Giammangiato [TelegramBot] Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot
Every time you mention me on a post or you merit me that thing give me an haptic feedback, so I immediately turn on the forum, in case I am away.

I always have a tab open, home, work and mobile.
I think this explains a lot.

Lol. You have been already addicted to the forum. Congrats, fillippone. Smiley

4186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 27, 2020, 12:11:03 PM
I did not join the crypto market when Ripple pumped to its all time high but I observed in the latest 2 waves of altcoins, late of 2019 and early of 2020, Ripple is one of the worst altcoins to invest. The coin did not rally significantly, and its rally is much lower than other altcoins.

We have seen the coming rallying wave of altcoins after their massive dumps last 2 days. I wish this time, Ripple will do perform its rally from its bottom (around 25xx satoshis). The price at 42xx satoshis is too far and difficult to be hit if Ripple won't get big momentum this time.
4187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Find your managers on: February 26, 2020, 05:29:44 PM
For what reason does the last topic page is included and what's the relation of that column to the list? If you think that the page will redirect to the previous signature/bounty thread made by the campaign managers, then I might say yes, and say no. Not all threads started by the campaign manager on the list are all signature or bounty threads so I'm asking why its included.
It is just one of pages we can go and check one manger announces a new campaign.
Quote
And what are the criteria/factors to consider for the management experience column? numbers of signature/bounty managed? numbers of successful projects together with their managed campaign? Number of days active? Reputation? what...
Management experience, I make my words on number of campaigns they managed.
Reputation, thanks, I did not think of it.
Quote
While you have already include the URL of the profile when the usernames are clicked, then there's another link to their profile on the profile page anchor text, and its redundant and unnecessary IMO. Why don't you include their campaign management ann thread instead?
Well, your advice help me. I will edit OP, and replace the profile page column by campaign management ann thread.
Quote
Also, what are the minimum factors you consider adding managers on this list? If you can include an inexperience manager, base on your Management experience column since there's a NO experience there.
I get most of them in the topic of Mitchell, and minor of them from the Service announcement, Services boards.

6 active years on the forum, I am impressed with your time and your career on the forum.

I have not yet imagined how I will be next 6 years, in my life and on the forum. Anyway, it is a good day to mark your days.

Congratulations, LFCBitcoin
4189  Other / Meta / Re: Bought Copper Membership - How to test post images and videos? on: February 26, 2020, 03:07:29 PM
1miau has a topic on websites that provide users to post images, but it is not written in English.
Bilder im Bitcointalk verwenden
You can use Google translate and try those websites by yourself and see which one is most fitted with your need.

Some sites have issues to display images in some cases and imgur.com is the best, for image attach and display on the forum.
4190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Find your managers on: February 26, 2020, 01:00:02 PM
All your links seem to be broken. Most of them are either non-existant or redirecting to random topics in different sections of the forums.
Sorry, I use the wrong URL format for managers' profile pages, that should be:
Code:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=managerUID
I corrected the table. Thank you for the quick warning.
4191  Economy / Service Discussion / Find your managers on: February 26, 2020, 12:32:44 PM
Find your managers here

I used the table format from that topic: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 24-Feb-2020]
You can see updated OP on that topic weekly for campaigns' status (closed, opened, and available slots). For most recently news on open slots, following managers' newest posts or newest posts in that topic can help.
4192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 26, 2020, 12:17:28 PM
IF they will play, for now the most probable situation is to play the game without people at the stadium.
Exactly. According to Italian SKY, the Serie A President has sent a letter to the Italian government asking that matches shouldn't be postponed because of the tight schedule. Instead he suggests that they should be played with empty stands.

https://www.facebook.com/AroundTurin/posts/2869337359820847
And this will be applied to all matches in Champions League and Europa League for Italian clubs, for next days?

If the Covid-19 pandemic won't be controlled next weeks and keep spreading in Europe, soon we will see all matches in Europe through our televisions or smartphones. All of matches from now on have been under high risks of will be played in closed stadiums.
4193  Other / Meta / Re: Post several topics (threads) in the adjacent time on: February 25, 2020, 01:46:05 PM
Do OP know that the forum has its algorithm to limit as well as allow users at different ranks to post 2 continuous posts in a minimum timegaps.
Where I can get a detail explanation about this, buddy?
I guess he is talking about the minimum time limit for different rank while posting. I can't remember if I have seen how much for higher rank but for newbie; the minimum gap between 2 posts is 360 seconds. With higher rank, the limitation is decreased too but I don't know for any other rank.
The formula is:
Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);
RapTarX is correct that the lowest rank has a minimum time limit between two posts is 360 seconds ~ 6 minutes. It was applied per rank before the merit system, but after we had the merit system, it has been applied with activity only (maybe I understand it wrong).
4194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Market Cap on: February 25, 2020, 01:08:58 PM
Market cap is a very misleading term in crypto and we should stop use it for our investment decisions or assessments. The level of misleading severity increases if you apply marketcap term to altcoins.

Each time, mostly with bull market, we have new generations of investors who join the market and hear the term 'marketcap', then they are mislead with it. Then, with their turns, they will mislead other new generations of investors, so on and so on.

4195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 25, 2020, 12:59:13 PM
XRP has been onto the bottom for many days and this was actually the opportunity to buy XRP to hold for the coming times. XRP has already shown us some great development news regarding the xRapid and xCurrent which would surely make a lot of investors buy as much ripple as possible. Bull runs are about to take place and XRP being the top 3rd coin would be among the first few coins to experience huge pump in the start of the bull runs.
Everyday, XRP makes me depressed a little more. Bitcoin dumps, XRP dumps together. Bitcoin takes over, XRP dumps or slightly increases while many other altcoins skyrocket.
Quote
This would create a huge demand for XRP and the price would keep on rising. I can assume that we might see XRP crossing $0.3 soon in maybe just a few months which would trigger the bull runs and the price might even reach somewhat near to $0.8 at the end of this year.
Demand and supply should be taken into consideration at the same time. XRP has very huge supply so demand has to be very very huge in order to help its price rising. How big its demand should be reached to help its price, I don't know, honestly.
4196  Other / Meta / Re: Post several topics (threads) in the adjacent time on: February 25, 2020, 12:49:49 PM
It depends on the quality of those topics or posts. If quality is bad, and topics/ posts are made in adjacent time, they will be considered as spam, and rules are broken.

Do OP know that the forum has its algorithm to limit as well as allow users at different ranks to post 2 continuous posts in a minimum timegaps. People can spend their time to compose their posts/ topics, and when they finish, they can click on post to post it in a row (within allowable period for each rank).

In the other words, they can spend an hour to compose and make all posts in a short period, 5 to 10 minutes. It's acceptable if quality is good.
4197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First steps to keep your cryptos safe. on: February 24, 2020, 01:48:02 PM
Good point, always the users need to test their passwords or private keys before sending funds to it. If there is any minimal finder mistake you won't be able to recover your coins, better to test and be sure it works as intended. And never send big amounts on the first tx, always test sending small tx, if all goes fine then send the intended amount. So far in crypto there is no way to reverse a tx.
Losing money by using Ctr+C & Ctr+V and being unknowledgeable as well as lazy is very terrible.
How to lose your Bitcoins with CTRL-C CTRL-V. It is for bitcoin but you can apply it for your security (with passwords too). Many people don't check difference between what they copy and what they receive after pasting. Problems come from there.
4198  Other / Meta / Re: Do we need merit sources for low ranks? on: February 23, 2020, 05:25:16 PM
Edit:  Ah, Coin-1 has a thread that's helpful that I forgot about.  It just got bumped and thus helped me remember it.
Lower rank users are the future of the forum so OP made a good topic to discuss.

Maybe you forgot the topic of LoyceV: The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days, that was last updated on February 22, 2020, 11:14:27 AM
4199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 23, 2020, 05:19:10 PM
Ibrahimovic is a born leader and a very charismatic player who is always hungry for victory and never gives up.
Just look at how he resurrected Rebic, who was in deep crisis before his arrival in Milan or how he yells at his players if they don't try hard enough.
He is a leader and I believe also as a very successful football coach in the future.
He helped both AC Milan and Ante Rebic improved their forms but to say Ibra will become a good coach, I don't believe it.

Even think of his next career as a coach, I don't think it will happen. And if it happens, he will not become a good coach. Genaro Gattuso is an example. A good, energetic, ambitious and victory-enthusiast players do not always become good coaches.

Gattuso failed with his clubs: Sion, AC Milan, Napoli. Another good player, bad coach from AC Milan: Fillipo Inzaghi.
4200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 23, 2020, 01:53:42 PM
I do not believe it because the ripple is not a decentralized coin but is centered, there are people who set it up so they just follow the market situation or act on their desire to manipulate prices.
You can see ath ripple at last bull.
Ripple investors (old generations) have to wait for new generations of Ripple investors before seeing XRP price skyrocket. It is hard to accept but it is the truth. Accept it or not, it does not help you to sooner see the rise of Ripple. If you are a loyal investor of Ripple, and have plan to hold it next more than one year, ok. But if you are traders, there are many better coins to faster enter and exit (with profits).
