4181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 09, 2016, 11:45:02 AM
There are lots of gambling sites that offer to be part of the house.  One day I may join to one if i have the amount required to win big as well.
there are some that only require few satoshis like bitvest.io. I can see they only ask 0.01btc

That is a good start. 0.01btc is not that much but it will give you a good idea on how things are going inside. Take a try and see if it will go well in a few months. If things go well and you get good returns from you investment, you can add more funds into it. Then you can look for other sites and invest in there too. Now you will have multiple investments and earn without working.
4182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 09, 2016, 11:36:23 AM
Gambling when done properly can be a very entertaining and enjoyable activity. When abused it can be one of the worst things in the world. Gambling is just like drinking. Out about 100 people who drink, maybe 20 have problems with it. Gambling is the same way. And the effects of the problem are about the same as well.

I agree with you. If only all gamblers are responsible gamblers and will not let themselves be addicted or let their all their money lose to gambling, then there will be no one crying because of gambling. And all this negative talks about gambling will end. But, no one is perfect and every now amd then there will be a gambler who will lose out of control and will cry.
4183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: July 09, 2016, 11:10:19 AM
Just like what I said here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290215.msg15453353#msg15453353

Trading is one example of gambling. Why?
Because gambling is basically putting your money to risk.
You may lose your money if you did not predicted nicely.

You will lose money if you do not use your head and just trade blindly. That is why there is called research and charts. You use them to predict properly and not trade no blindly. If you do that, the risk is lessen and it will not be too much of a gamble. You will be assured of profit for all your trade. Just do your work first before doing trades.
4184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 09, 2016, 07:09:30 AM
because you can earn and loss profit at short period of time
not only that. however, gambling was consumed us. time becomes useless because we do gambling.

If you think gambling is just wasting your time means that you do not know how to manage your time, nothing else. So you need to learn how to manage your time on gambling, this is one of the most important parts on how to control yourself on gambling.

Yeah, start managing your time by not gambling. Gambling takes too much time from a person and time is his most valuable asset. So, do not waste you time on gambling because it does not benefit you anything except for a few money here and there. There are things which you can spend your time better like sports or learning trading or enhancing you skills. Those things can be more profitable than gambling.
4185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 09, 2016, 06:18:58 AM
For that you will have to switch to another job and have to try to remain yourself busiy in other works, so you will be away from gambling.
Yeah you will need to keep yourself busy with other stuff so that you can keep your mind off gambling because of you are going to keep thinking about gambling you are going to drive your self crazy.
So go out with some friend and find a other hobby.

Yeah, take away your mind from gambling by going out with friends or involving in a new and productive activities. If you occupy your mind with thoughts of gambling, all you will be doing is gambling. But if you get rid your mind of gambling thoughts, there are a world of other things you can do. In no time, gambling will be out of your system.
4186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 09, 2016, 06:15:03 AM
If I were rich, I would still gamble for fun as I do it now. Maybe because I would be rich not because of gambling, but of other stuff (some investments as an example). IMO, I don't think that generally anyone can get rich of gambling.
You are 100% sir, there is no way to get rich from this goddamn gambling
I was close to this actually but I became too greedy and that was the reason i lost all...
If you want to gamble just get big money in there and big bets, thats all guyz
everyone has their own opinion. like gambling and some are hated gambling. it is reasonable . gambling is not a game for me to get rich. gambling just a hobby. like some of the messages that you do not spend your money for a hobby.

true, gambling is good depending of you are playing with it. If you know how to control and manage your money then I think you can gamble. But if you are out of control in playing gambling please avoid it as early as you can. Because you can lose that you cannot afford to lose. And I agree that gambling is just a hobby and not to get rich. Sometime if we win once in gambling we can't stop ourselves in playing with it. But I know there are people that after winning they just want to stop and put the money in their savings Smiley
For the rich people is should be a hobby for them as they will not care so much even when they lose money, they are just after for the fun but the poor have a different perception of gambling.
They care but what they care more is the result that they will get, there are rich people that make gambling for a living. Rich people always wants money and always wants their money to grow whatever it takes.

Yeah, they care about their wins and losses. It is wrong notation that rich people do not care about money and that they will be willing.to throw it away by gambling. I think rich people have better understanding of money that is why they are rich. They are willing to risk it if there is one hundred percent sure of profit like investment or business. But in gambling, they will not because it is like throwing away money for nothing.
4187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: July 09, 2016, 06:05:32 AM
I am using Faucet only in one of my favorite Dice Site. If i am lucky i earn 10 mbtc to 15 mbtc a day. But if i am not lucky i don't earn anything from my free time. My Faucet is only 1500 satoshi. It's worth a try because i only spend my free time.

That is a big win coming from almost nothing. So, how do you do it? It is almost impossible to raise 15 mbtc from 1500 satoshis. Is there a trick you are doing or do you just rely on your luck. I also tried that before but I cannot earn more that 20000 satoshis from 1000 satoshis from the faucet. You must have a very good luck if you do it consistently.
4188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 08, 2016, 01:57:01 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?
Gambling is so addicting because it is simple to understand for most people and you can make fast money with it if you win.
When people have won ones then they think that they can win again and again but that is when it goes wrong.

Pretty much money is one part of it.  Some people wanted to experience the thrill behind the game.  That one of the reason  why some thrill seeking people prefer to bungie jump on the cliff thousand meters above the sea level, or skydive.  Others even try to do some death defying stunt.  They don't care if they will cost it their lives or their money as long as they experience the thrill and excitement. In gamble it is the same thrill /excitement  to be on the middle of "what will show up, Win or lose"

In those stunts, skills are tested and bravery. If you succeed on those stunts, you prove your skills and bravery to those around you, that is why it is exciting. Nothing is proven in gambling. There is no skills required, and no bravery either. Only greed is proven when you gamble. The greed to acquire money easily. And that is what driving the gamblers to be addicted. Not the thrills, but the greed.
4189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: July 07, 2016, 09:13:11 AM
i loss more than 1BTC on dice site but now im recovering that and recovered almost half of that and still recovering if i recovered that all i will still play for fun cause i love dice game and i'm pretty addicted on gambling so i won't play for profit i just play for fun and now i created my own dice site GeoDice

Wow! That is a lot of coins to be lost in gambling dice. I would be very sad if I lose that much but each is for his own. I wish you luck on your venture to win back that loss. I really do not believe you can still win that back especially in dice because of house edge. House edge will just beat you to dust, but If that is what you really want to do then good luck.
I lost over 2 btc play dice this year and i am thinking to not play dice again  it is really not my passion, i prefer gamble it on sports or baccarat  live dealer casino or even real casino.

Recovering our losses will never end, i suggest you to stop thinking your losses and start a new plan to get profit.

2BTC is a lot of money and you lost it all on dice. That is a bad move. You really should let go of your dice game and focus more on sports betting if that has more potential in earning. You are right, you cannot chase your losses because that will just lead to more losses. The better way is to do gambling that uses skills or better, leave gambling at all.
4190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 07, 2016, 09:02:28 AM
Gambling is not going to fix your life for you and when you are in need of money never go to the casino tog o and look for it because that is what is going to wreck your life.
There still is a chance that it will fix your life but that chance is way to small to take in my opinion.

Gambling will only fix their life if they start to realize it is wrecking their life. They will just stop gambling if they realize that it is not doing good for them. They will continue to gamble as long as they don't see the bad effects of it. It will be to late know before they regret it.

Some people recognize the bad effects of gambling before it destroy their lives. Those are lucky people. They can stop before the effects truly gets to them. But to some, they only recognize the bad effects when it is already too late. That is really bad because there is no more turning back especially when they are already addicted to it. Those people gets their lives wrecked.
4191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: July 07, 2016, 08:49:22 AM
It depends what do you think and what is your financial status.
If you have a lot of money or enough money but u dont mind to loose some just for relaxation or recreation it is not wrong.
But when u have bad financial status, gambling again is always wrong,no matter what.

having a lot of money doesn't mean gambling becomes not wrong. gambling can make a rich become a poor in no time, it happens quite common and it's wrong.
So you are telling that all the people should not gamble even if what they are risking is their own money? I think that is being unfair, we should have the freedom to spend our money even in gambling.

Yes, I will advise people not to gamble, rich or poor. It is bad in my opinion. But of course, I cannot force you not to gamble. You can do it if you want. Do it on your own risk. All I can do is give you an advise, it is up to you to follow or not. If you get rich or poor on gambling, if it ruins your life, yourself is to blame.
4192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: July 07, 2016, 07:10:12 AM

I think that is the only risk in putting your money as investment in gambling because you all have the advantage to win and grow your money consistently, you need to select the most trusted sites in that situation.

I think there is no consistent profit in gambling but yeah in investing there are a chance in profiting if you invested your money in the right sites, and you need to be very patient in waiting for a certain sites to grow your investment so you can profit from them because investing is a long process you need to wait and keep a track of your money!
If there is consistent profit in gambling I would be in gambling all my life, I am just playing in gambling for fun but I know that when I am into gambling I have a chance to win my dream winning, we can win more amount than we ever wish if you are just extremely lucky.

Having fun in gambling? I think you will have fun in it if you are always winning but if you are always losing in it how would you say that you are still keeping the fun game you desire in gambling? and I think that people playing it really wants to target the pot money nothing more nothing less.
For rich people it should be that way, they are having fun in gambling although they lose, and with that attitude the are not prone to addiction as they are never frustrated even with big lose because they can always afford.

If you play long enough, you will be addicted to. Even if you are rich and do not care about losing and winning. If it becomes a daily habit and it will have a tendency to become an addiction. No one is exempted from being a gambling addict as long as you start playing, you will be an addict given enough time.
4193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 07, 2016, 06:52:42 AM
Yes it was a pretty impressive gain but you won't get gains like that everyday. Plus there is also a risk associated with it.

There's always a risk. If there wasn't, every major investor in the world would be all-in. But if you want to make money, you have to risk it. There's three ways to get money:

1) Someone giving it to you (or stealing)
2) Work
3) Risking it in an investment of some type

Since we're talking about investing, #3 is the only option. Trading is a risk. Investing is a risk. Buying a business is a risk. Running a business is a risk. No matter what you do, you're risking.
Yes we are talking about investing and we are talking on a specific investment on bitcoin casinos, if you will run a business and you own a casino you will be easily become rich because you have all the advantage to win and your risk will only be on legal matters.
Yeah, but first of all you need to meet some requirements:
You need big starting balance,to be safe because no one will play in ur casino
You need also good security in your site,to not let hackers to steal your money, and your client's too.
Yes, it implies a lot of money but if you could have all the requirements needed you would be setting pretty waiting for your income without too much effort, I should know because that kind of business is so lucrative.

Owning a casino does not mean you are not going to work already. There are still lots of works to be done like managing the site, advertising and the likes. You cannot just hire someone to develop online casino and let it run on its own. You will just lose money. THere are tons of managerial work to be done to have a successful casino. It is lucrative but it is not easy to maintain too.
4194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this what we called "addictive to gamble"? on: July 07, 2016, 06:29:25 AM
called interest or addicted to gambling is when you already can not stop gambling, even though you know you've not had a chance to return the money that you have and you always try, even when you want to stop it was very difficult, and maybe you'll run out of your money if continuous play
It is not maybe, it's surely we will run out of money if we cannot stop gambling. You can only win in gambling doing in continuously when you have more money than the gambling sites or close to unlimited money.

Your luck will not change even if you have unlimited amount of money. It will only make  you last longer in gambling but it will not make you any luckier. So it is wrong to think that you will be successful in gambling if you have more capital. Gambling is based on luck and nothing will change that.
4195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: July 07, 2016, 04:24:43 AM
As of now never experience to cry in gambling even i lost. and i think we are the same here..
And i think if you hit win a jackpot hundred thousands of usd can you makes you to cry because its a huge amount of money..

Maybe you have not loss enough to make you regret the idea of gambling. But maybe someday, when you are left with nothing, you will understand why these people are crying their loss. If you cry and realize sooner the bad effects of gambling to you, you can correct your habits sooner. But I hope for you, it will not be too late.
4196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: July 07, 2016, 04:14:46 AM
I can't stay away . Promos make me wanna go for it. So whenever I have btc in my wallet I gamble it.
Probably not good but eh...

It's okay if you can afford it. The totally different story if you are gambling away what you need for paying bills and for buying food. This kind of gambling is really a sickness.

It is still not okay even if you can afford the money you lose. Losing money thru gambling is bad. It is like you do not know the value that is beyond earning those money. If you do not value money, soon it will leave you and you will be left with nothing. It is the idea that it is alright to lose if you can afford it is the sickness that will rot you.
4197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: July 07, 2016, 03:55:56 AM
if I were rich, why do I need to keep gambling? if you are thinking of having fun. there are many more pleasant places of gambling, even this can release you from gambling.

Ditto, If I were rich, don't expect me to be a high roller.  A bet just for fun, why not but that would be the extent of it.  There are more ways to be entertained than having a vice.  Gambling gets addicting in the long run, you might end up getting poor in an instant.  If you have enough money, why not raise a nice beautiful loving family instead, can make you happy too.

You are right, there are a lot of better things to do than gambling. Things that are more productive and equally entertaining. You do not have to risk your wealth or your future in order to have fun in life. I do not say do not gamble, but restrain. And do not let yourself be addicted because doing so may mean your doom.
4198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: July 07, 2016, 03:07:26 AM
It's sad to see my favorite player in NBA went to the most hated sports club of all time. My Durant fan days are officially over. You picked money over legacy, you won't win anything in Warriors.
Warriors will be the champion this season and durant will experience his first championship, after that he will go back again to OKC to win a championship just like what lebron james did.

This kind of statement is really not new for a person that really don't watch NBA. Most of GSW diehard fans can't even state something like that. All they know is they are strong and has a big "chance" to win the championship next season but to the point of 100% claim, can't say something.
Nothing is sure in NBA because games can be manipulated for sure, and even if games will not be manipulated there is also a slim chances that durant or curry might be injured.
that's are more possible as we see curry have more injuries lately and f durant will have too gsw can't assure to come back to the finals as the nba is a long run to watched.
We have to consider that other teams are also making a good move like the spurs just acquired Pau Gasol. Do you think the spurs is not a legitimate contender this season, you have see how LA and Pau dominate the paint and men they can both shoot threes.

Yeah, they are too focused on Durant and GSW that they are not seeing the good trades others are making. They are brushing off the trades of spurs and knicks. They will be good team too this coming season, teams to watch out for. GSW maybe stronger with the addition of Durant on their lineup, but these teams will not make it easy for them to win the championship next season.
4199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 06, 2016, 01:25:14 PM
When you lose, you want to recover again and again, and when you win, you want more..so you will not go until you lose all.haha
Well, that is human nature and we cannot blame people doing that, we need to chase also to win but we should always consider that chasing bets is very risky so we need to control ourselves.

That is greed and we should avoid it not just in gambling but everything in life. If we let greed take control of our actions, especially in gambling, we are bound in a lot of headaches. The key is to be satisfied in what we have. If you lose, let it go. If you win, even small amounts, be satisfied with it.
4200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: July 06, 2016, 12:52:19 PM
For that you will have to switch to another job and have to try to remain yourself busiy in other works, so you will be away from gambling.

Drowning yourself to work might back fire to you. If you get too stressed out due to work then you will seek out something to relieve your stress. And the first thing you will turn into is gambling because that is your addiction. So, instead of getting out of it, it actually push you into gambling more. You should find activities that is fun and entertaining as gambling but not that destructive.
