I think yes bitcoin has been use by a criminal. They are called scammer or a hacker. They always pretend that they are the admin of a ICO.  Other are making a SCAM ICO

Will its possible that bitcoin the king of crypto currency will be replace by another coin. If bitcoin will be replace i think ethereum or litecoin will be replace on him. They are next on bitcoin and have also great potential.

For me if i buy between gold and bitcoin.
Ill go to bitcoin. Bitcoin has great retuen profit than gold. Gold pruce currently slowly go up while bitcoin so fast earning but sometimes it will down also
