421  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: July 17, 2018, 02:31:04 AM
Hello guys,

To me, it seems pretty strange that people actually continues buying btc now...
I understood why they wanted to invest in btc before, after the Chyprus crisis, and all the articles in the media. But now?

I don't get it.

Bitcoin is useless, and will most likely never be used as a currency. I spent hours trying to get my first bitcoins (satoshi actually), and after working for ages, I only got 0.002 btc, which does not even allow me to proceed to a transaction (the fees are higherthan that amount  Roll Eyes ). When you compare it with CC or paypal, it seems that they are free to use in comparison! Not to mention the time required to actually proceed to a transaction which can be anything between 1 minute and ... 1 year (or more?).

The only possible reason I see people are buying btc is that they (truly) believe that the price will increase, and want to make more profit. I think that 99.99 % of the bitcoins exchanged are never withdrawn from the exchangers, and the people are only waiting to make some profits. What makes them believe that the price will rise? Because the amount of bitcoins is limited? Because lost coins can never be recovered? I have no clue.

An other problem is the "mining" part. Soon, the difficulty will increase, CPU and GPU mining will be useless. People will stop mining bitcoins and try LTC or something easy to get... The interest in btc will decrease.

Other issues:
- security. Not a single company was able to provide a "professional" service. Bitcoin-24 has a serious problem ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=174600.0 ). Even mtgox was critized for the lags, problems with missing coins, money, delay, and so on ... The hacks are countless (you can see new topics about that every day ...).

I can't see anything positive about btc, and still can't get why people are buying it. Can any captain obvious explains? Thanks.
simply because they realize the real value of Bitcoin. Actually Bitcoin's value now does not assess its potential in the future. I think the Crypto and Bitcoin markets are being affected by the global economic downturn and are being manipulated by whales. So its true value is still there and I think Bitcoin will grow strongly in 2019...
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to make bitcoin a popular payment method? on: July 17, 2018, 02:27:19 AM

For something that can become a popular means of payment, you need the following:
Store of value: allowing individuals to make intemporal choices on when to spend their purchasing power
Medium of exchange: facilitating the exchange of goods and services by eliminating the inefficiencies associated with a barter economy
Unit of account: acting as a measure of value in the economic system.
Do you think the bitcoin has all three of these elements? I am looking forward to the bitcoin will become a popular payment method in the future.
Bitcoin has all three elements but it is currently not recognized worldwide. Besides, it is a very good tool for whales to manipulate the market. Because the market will fluctuate at the price of Bitcoin.
I think Cryptocurrency needs to be protected and kept stable for Bitcoin. From then on it can be accepted by the whole world and become a popular payment method.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: July 16, 2018, 03:50:07 AM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??
do not worry. Some countries are prohibited from trading in bitcoins in all forms but traders can still trade normally. Because we can change the IP and can log into the trading platform to trade. I've tried it and it worked fine.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggestion for trading on: July 16, 2018, 03:46:54 AM
do you have suggestions , how to avoid mistakes in trading and take less risk ?
and what need to learn for be a good trader ?
I think traders who suffer losses or become fearful of trading are due to their lack of patience. They make a lot of mistakes and are driven by the market. it was worse.
Many traders had to sell all their altcoins because the market went down. They know that the market will rise again but they still sell because they do not have enough patience. So to become a trading expert, you need to be patient.
425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future blockchain on: July 15, 2018, 01:17:00 PM
what do you think about future blockchain ?

I am trying to write good article and trying to research more to build good article. Thanks you guys. (Forgive me for any mistake   Grin Grin Grin
I think Blockchain's future is good. Because it is essential for the big business in the world. It needs a cheap, high-speed transfer tool for carrying out international business projects. It's easier to get a quick and cheap transfer. So in the future, Blockchain will appear in every corner of the world.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason For Creating a New Cryptocurrency? on: July 15, 2018, 01:14:42 PM
Perhaps, To meet the market needs that have not been touched cryptocurrency and for fundraising projects.

There are lot of opinions that could be one of the reasons why they create a new cryptocurrency . It could be they one to create a legacy  in this industry ofcryptocurrency or they are amazed of the potential of cryptocurrency that makes them motivate to create of their own or they dont like the current coin and they want to replace it.
I think the Crypto market is getting a lot of attention from business enthusiasts. Because ICO is a system that attracts investment capital online and has a lot of labor force to promote new projects. So this is an opportunity for people who have good ideas but have no capital to realize their dreams. They will use their great ideas to attract investors and do not need any other conditions.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop !! is it worth it ! on: July 14, 2018, 03:05:24 AM
I see many people following the Airdrop channels

They enter every Airdrop , Share posts on Twitter and Facebook

Is it possible to make some money from Airdrops

If Yes is it worth this the time and work ?
In my personal opinion, Airdrop is worthless and unworthy of the time and effort you spend. I have participated in more than 7 Airdrop programs and have 3 programs are scams and require a lot of things to be able to get their tokens. I felt very upset and I participated in the bounty campaign. It was really profitable for me.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: July 14, 2018, 03:02:42 AM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
Based on my ICO project investment experience. When its floor price is lower than the price of ICO, it will be forever lower than the price of ICO. So I recommend selling them at a lower price and accepting losses. because they will not be able to recover. Currently the new ICO projects will not be able to compete with the big altcoin now so the recovery seems unlikely.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade? on: July 13, 2018, 05:42:13 AM
Day trade is good now, or is just when market is more unstable ?
It is good when the market lacks stability. I often wait when the market fluctuates and implement the strategy of buying low high. But now is not a good time because it's just a slight fluctuation. The rate ranges from 3-5%. That is not an index that brings too much profit to the trader.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is costly... on: July 13, 2018, 05:39:28 AM
One thing to say mining bitcoin consumes a large amount of electricity and it would take lots of equipment to manned the mining. There should be a development in making the cost of bitcoin lower; given that lower mining cost could yield a higher profit. However, it matters on trading and exchanges.
Yes, but the reduction in operating costs will also contribute to profitability. We can exploit Bitcoin and hold it until its price is higher. We are still bitcoin holders and never worry about capital losses. Because Chinese traders have said that they are always profitable when the price of bitcoin is over $ 3k.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Regulations For Cryptocurrency? on: July 13, 2018, 05:35:32 AM
Hello, would love to get your opinion on this topic. Do you think there would be more regulations regarding cryptocurrency by the Government? Both now and the future? Let’s say bitcoin price rises to $100,000 per bitcoin, Do you think the government would actually let it be and function on its own without constant regulations? Well, personally I think we would see more regulations from the government down the line to a 1 Trillion Dollars total market cap and above. But I’m positive such regulations won’t hamper on the further growth and advancement of cryptocurrency. So tell me, what do you think?
I do not think the government will let the Cryptocurrency market grow so easily. Because a market with too high a market capitalization will be heavily regulated by the government. By the way it will affect the economy of the world. The early Crypto market will want to be protected and become healthier if market capitalization is high.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 12, 2018, 03:06:31 AM
Dogecoin really is not a good altcoin. People are blindly investing in it because of the good news and now they pay too much for it. Dogecoin's prices have dropped dramatically and it is not likely to recover as strongly as ETH or EOS. I underestimate Dogecoin and encourage people not to invest in it.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: July 12, 2018, 03:04:33 AM
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?
I think it depends on the view of each person. I am really a person who does not trust technical chart analysis. I only believe in my economic knowledge then I will make an investment decision. I used to combine politics with economics to analyze and make the decision to invest in something.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin correction today is healthy! on: July 11, 2018, 05:07:22 AM
Bitcoin fell again in price by almost $ 500. The only good thing is that the dominance of bitcoin is 44 percent.
I think that's really a bad sign. The market is recovering but today it is falling. This shows that Bitcoin's base value is around $ 6k5. I think Bitcoin is not good, it has been exploited and it is losing value. Crypto's future is bad. Cry
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign are wastage of time? on: July 11, 2018, 05:05:06 AM
I do not think it is a waste of time. For me, the bounty campaign brought me a lot of profit. Because the leaves are quite high, there is no need to work much.
We do not spend too much effort but still have a lot of money, which is a very good job. So I appreciate the bounty campaign.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: July 11, 2018, 05:02:54 AM
I had arguments  with my friends  who are always  tagging  bitcoin with negativity. Today, we argued  and I educated them on bitcoin and Ponzi scheme.  To me Ponzi scheme  is when developers takes  money from new entrance to pay early birds, rinse and repeat until they raise enough and vanish. But bitcoin  is not like that.  Do you think I am right?
Bitcoin is currently considered a ponzi form and is intended to scam. These are the intentions of many people and I think it's not true. Satoshi has created Bitcoin with a passion and I believe he will not use it to cheat people.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: July 11, 2018, 05:00:23 AM
I want to have "Passive Income"
I will raise capital to build a business that can provide me with passive income, so in my old age I do not need to work to earn money, how about you?
do you have an idea to build a business that can provide passive income with minimal capital?
I am only 19 years old and I have not planned to start a business yet. I just put out the annual plan and want to achieve the target. In 4 years of college, I will try to make $ 20k more comfortable in life. Then I would work and save more to buy a house. Grin
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: July 10, 2018, 02:23:14 AM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

I've lost more than $ 3k just to lose my private key. I saved it in a spreadsheet and did not seem to affect it. But when I used it, my private key was no longer the same, it was changed by the small impact. So this is a lesson learned for us. Be careful in using wallets.
439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: July 10, 2018, 02:20:31 AM
We are indeed the tough times of trading or investment in cryptocurrency. After the ATH of Bitcoin last year, we are now at the stalemate at 10K USD mark for almost 2 weeks and no sign of going up. I was thinking to hold for as long as I can since I believe in crypto.

If you’re at the losing position what is the best thing to do?

In the Cryptocurrency market, when you are in a losing position, you should hold them. The Cryptocurrency market is constantly changing and the prices of altcoins are always falling or rising strangely. So hold on until the price goes up, hold it as long as possible. I am sure the good results will come to those who have patience in investing.
440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has the Crypto currency market stabilized? on: July 10, 2018, 02:17:55 AM
Hello people,

Watched plenty of videos, read lots of articles on this and seems like most experts are in the opinion that the Crypto market has somewhat built stability in the current levels and has more upside potential as opposed to downside.

Is this true?
This is not true. Because the market has fallen sharply from May to now. So it can not be reduced much more, I think Bitcoin is at the bottom.
we can take advantage of this opportunity to buy and hold them until its price is x2 times. It will happen soon because Q4 will be the growth momentum of the Cryptocurrency market.
