Thank you

the last few people who I gave coins to for putting up signature took their signature off right when they got paid. It kind of put a bad taste in my mouth for doing this promo.

Ouch, that's totally understandable that you're bothered by the fact
Have you discontinued promo ?

How long can you keep your signature for then? btw, I just launched version 2.0 with a referral program. it might be better for you to put your signature up with your referral link. you can make more bitcoins that way: see the other thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=304850.0
422  Economy / Gambling / [Ice-Dice.com V2.0] Massive 10 Level 1% MLM Referral Bonus! Get in on top fast! on: September 29, 2013, 11:14:03 PM
I released first version of Ice-Dice.com a week ago and after speaking to players and investors on ways to improve the site, I've worked around the clock to release version 2.0. The main concern some of the investors had was that the site was not gaining traffic fast enough. Even though there were 30,000 bets in the first week, the total wagered amount was only about 55BTC. So I've decided to implement the biggest and most lucrative Multi Level Marketing(MLM) referral program of any bitcoin casino ever! More than twice as much referral bonus paid than any other dice sites.

Now anyone can earn big money refering players to Ice Dice!

1% of a players daily wager will be paid out as bonuses to 10 levels of referrers. This means you only need to invite a few players to earn massive amount of bonuses!

To refer players, simply share your unique referral url and the players who signs up with it will be automatially linked to your account.

For Example
You invite 3 players, the 3 players each invite 3 players, then they each invite 3 players... You will receive commission for all 10 levels of players below you. In this example, because each player invite 3 players, over 10 levels will mean you will receive referral bonus from 59049 players! Each player will needs to bet 0.1BTC a day to be eligible for their referral bonus, so assume everyone wagered only their minimum, you will receive 59049 x 0.1BTC x 1% / 10 levels = 5.9049BTC a day. You can always increase your earnings by refering more than 3 players.

Act fast and get in on the game early! The sooner you get in the higher you will be on the MLM tree!

23.0.1 - Firefox.

I just tried again and the double-bet is still happening for me. Its weird because I'll start at .1, bet .01, and somehow end up with .1196.

I'm also unable to login from another browser as myself. I'm user "itsokrelax".

Is this the best place for issue reporting? Smiley

yeah here is ok. so you mean you start with 0.1 in your balance. then you bet 0.01, and end up with 0.196 in your balance with a increase of 0.096?

edit: ok yeah looks like something is wrong with firefox. I never really tested with firefox and there seems to be some incompatibility still. let me look into it.

edit2: it seems like in firefox, one click of "roll" will always roll twice now for some reason. Maybe thats why when you rolled once you ended up with 0.1196. You managed to win twice.

edit3: very strange in firefox. works fine in safari and chrome, but firefox always makes double bet on single click.

edit4: I think i fixed the double bet on single click problem for firefox.

edit5: sorry i think the hosting provider is having problems. server seem to be down. I can't ssh into it.

edit6: ok server seem to be back up now.
426  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Ice-Dice.com] 1% Edge | Made For Mobile | Invest or Play | Officially Launched! on: September 28, 2013, 10:23:29 PM
I have a small concern about the gameplay.

I started with .1BTC and then played 7 consecutive bets.

.1
+.0098
+.0098
-.01
+.0098
-.01
+.0098
+.0098
___________
.129

I show a balance of .1388 which is 1 win higher. I did refresh the page and it showed another bet which I didn't make. It may be making double bets (I thought it did it on my second bet as well but couldn't be certain I didn't accidentally double-click. If it helps I'm using it on a desktop using Firefox. Smiley

Whats your user id? are you looking at the "all bet" list or the "my bets" list? All bet only updates 1 per second and only shows the most recent bet that was made.

edit: Oh wait I see what you are saying, one of your bet was clicked twice you mean. what version is your firefox? I haven't tested on firefox much. Can you try double clicking or something, see if you can reproduce the "double bet" consistently.

edit2: ok just confirmed that if you double click on firefox you will double bet. It must be the way firefox run the javascript to disable the button event handler because on other browser you can't double click the dice roll. Thanks for finding this bug let me see if I can fix this.

edit3: Ok I fixed this, you shouldn't be able to double click on firefox anymore. Turns out the problem is:
$('#roll_dice_button').button('disable') doesn't work very well with firefox, but fine in chrome and safari.
I changed it to $('#roll_dice_button').attr("disabled", true) and now works fine in firefox to disable the button after it's clicked.

How is this going to get some players? Its a pretty neat idea assuming we don't all get scammed.

I have invested a bit, and have cashed out successfully. It was a manual process, but that's fine by me until the developer is confident in the process.

I'm working on a referral program right now. will release soon!

Hi there,
Not sure if you missed my previous post, but I was never credited with free credits to try out your site.

Thanks

Sorry promo is over for now

I'm pretty okay with having missed out, but for the record I was number 8 and you just skipped right over me.

ok my bad then, I must've thought I sent you already. I just credited 0.01 to user 1264

I'm user 57. It's all good though man, no sweat. I probably should have made that clear when I quoted Kylie.

haha oh! ok I just sent some to user 57. Good luck!

i like your game smooth interface, seems legit however still no cashout from day one winnings i just checked my cryptsy acct !! WTF!!! =(***please send the .01 here instead >>

thank you!!!

Your account is balanced, all cashouts were paid to you already. Stop trolling me for free bitcoins!
_?_is this the way to treat your first investors?
NO IT'S NOT I SENT .O1 BTC OUT AND NEVER GOT IT!!!  Roll Eyes NO WAY + I FOUND THE BUG!!! MODSQUAD+1~ IMHO TOUS THIS FOOL!

I've already gave you 0.04 - 0.05 total of free bitcoins over various accounts, out of which most you have withdrawn. The 0.01 was pending withdraw, but you gambled it away before I sent you, so I gave you 0.01 more in your account because I was nice, then you withdrew that. Plus the 0.01 I gave you for putting up a signature, you just withdrew right away, then you removed the signature. Which is not very nice because you took my money and only had the signature up for a few hours. I checked the auction section and most sites pay 0.01 to put signature up for a week.

So I stopped following the ASIC madness for a while to focus on building my dice game, but now I'm looking into getting back into mining again. I did some quick reading but the information seemed to be overwhelming.  It seems like all the ASIC companies are not delivering, board companies are going bankrupt, ASICMiner Shares crashed, difficulty sky rocketed, people are angry.

So is it a good time to buy some ASIC right now or no? If so which company is the best and which model will most likely give a good ROI?

If you quite unsure about numbers. Bet on FriedCat's offer or Pyramining first. I have referral links of Pyramining for you, PM for it.

Then You will need to use coinbox.me, equivalent to fill the minimal requirement or buy BTC with Fiat to start the miner first. I used to perform this thing on a boss, only for once completely free, if he like to speed up, I will help him to speed up.

ASICMiner provides the basic, stable, safe, but with bad power ratio as 330Mh/s @ 2W. While the other are better than that, but nothing shown at this moment, By the way, If Kncminer successfully ship the first 100Gh/s module in 28nm format, then good. For asking ASIC devices, Ask rockxie or other related people for it. You will need at least 50 to follow up as eBay is the retail way, You need a wholesale way. The Price, Currently so far, 0.12 BTC per one if you order lower than 2000.

for some reason Pyramining sounds like a pyramid scam. even the name sound like it's mocking the investors.

the blockeruptor at 300mhs is too slow to make anything...

no one else is shipping and ordering is risky...

432  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: bitcoind - create accounts via API on: September 26, 2013, 12:05:20 AM
I create a new account for each users I accept deposit from with getaccountaddress

then I have a daemon that checks listaccounts for any deposits.

That is not going to work well with thousands of accounts. Instead, properly use listsinceblock.

The reasoning for this is that making new accounts is something that happens very often, and you won't be receiving deposits from all them, so it makes little sense to use listaccounts for this task.

thats a good point actually, thanks!
433  Economy / Marketplace / Places to buy ads targeted to bitcoiners? on: September 25, 2013, 11:52:10 PM
What are good places to purchase advertisement targeted towards bitcoiners for my dice site?

I notice there are banners on bitcointalk but I can't figure out where to buy some inventory.
434  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: bitcoind - create accounts via API on: September 25, 2013, 11:26:10 PM
I create a new account for each users I accept deposit from with getaccountaddress

then I have a daemon that checks listaccounts for any deposits.

If deposit is found, I use move to transfer the balance to the "bank" account and credit the user.

Then the next time listaccounts is called, they will show up as 0.

All outgoing withdraw is sent via move from "bank" account to withdraw address.

Let me know if this helps.

don't bother buying....you're taking a slice from the world pie.

Good ROI = Does not exist.  I obviously have miners on backorder and have a stronger interest in dispersuading you from joining in on the difficulty level.  Hell Go with BFL that is your absolute best option lol.

In all seriousness, cointerra and hashfast seem like the best bang for their buck in terms of hashpower to cost, but there is Bitfury which will likely ship soonest if you buy today...otherwise you could gamble and plan to mine altcoins and pickup a shiton of block erupter USBs for the cheapcheap (like less than 1500 will get you more than 15 GH/S delivered TODAY, not in at least 3 weeks like bitfury [which i think those Oct units are sold out too])

if you wanted ROI you needed to be invested in hardware at least a year ago or longer.  At this point you are throwing a lot of good money down on a highly risky gamble that will likely not pan out...if you had substantial money and you for sure wanted to see a gain in profit then 'buy and hold'

I guess the question is how high bitcoin would go. Since ROI is calculated based on today's bitcoin value, but mining it and holding it might result in higher ROI if bitcoin's value go up. It's like when guys were mining with CPU back in the days and think oh this ROI would never return, but when the price increased, all their past mining all of a sudden made a killing.
