421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: April 13, 2018, 05:23:28 AM
First i put an amount limit for my gambling habbit after a first and second level of my limit i will stop and try it again nextime that means im not luck to that day.
We have the same concept in controlling our self on gambling , That is the way I control myself / to stop my self on playing gambling if I know that I dont have luck on that day. Maybe If everybody gamble like this , the ruined gamblers life can be lessen.
Good for the both of you, you know how to control yourself. I stop gambling when I found myself that im getting addicted on it like I forgot to do some things that I need to finish. Yes it was not good because it still hard for me to control myself. Honestly right now I stop gambling and focus more on different things here like joining in bounty campaigns.
In fact, I would say, good for you more than even the both of them. I must tell you that anyone who realized what you did and was able to get out of it quickly should be applauded as that is not an easy thing to do as far as I do concern what I have done with my gambling so far.

One mistake people have made is to look for something positive from gambling and forgetting that it is all about luck and they find it hard to get out of that thought until they have ended up losing everything and even turned totally to an addict to even borrow to gamble, and that is how they end up messed up entirely.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and investment - different discussion on: April 13, 2018, 04:00:32 AM
Gambling and invest are different things.
I agree if the casino let you choose the best thing that you can afford to loss.

Remember that if you choose to gamble , even if you win or loss, the site investment bankroll only affect small percentage and for who choose investment also happen either !
You are absolutely right my friend. Both occupations are pole apart in every aspect. Gambling is a game which only depends upon luck whereas investment is not any game and it also requires skills plus some knowledge to choose right place for spending money into. Gambling cannot be considered as some way of earning profits while investment helps in increasing the capital.
A whole lot apart. The fact here is that investment when done well, you can at least expect a very good return from it and even though you do not know the future, you can try to manage the risk and make sure it works well in your favor.

But for gambling entirely, it is a whole ball game entirely as everything is based on luck and no matter how you try to play safe, you can never be safe after all. Also, the idea people always have with gambling and expecting so much from it is always surprising.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 12, 2018, 03:45:48 PM
Positive thinking gives you an edge every time a person is gambling. Base on my experience, every time that you have doubts on your card, no matter how strong it is, you will end up losing the game because you are not confident. Especially in the game of poker, the other player will definitely feel that you are bluffing if you're not confident. You are also willing to take the risk if you are thinking positive, the more you try, the more chances of winning.

I don't know mate, but your positive thinking will not change the outcome of the game. If you are not confident then don't bet on it simple as that.

We all know for a fact that everything is based on luck, and even if you are not that confident but decided to bet and won, what do you think influence the outcome then? Luck or Confidence?
Confidence of winning based on positive thinking is actually the last thing anyone want to do and if they want to go ahead, they may need to go ahead to join some support groups to see how that mentality has landed some people there and trying to find a way to get out of it.

It is one mentality that a lot of people had and at the end of the day, they have become so addicted while trying to win from gambling, keep trying and hoping to win and until they lose everything and all they have left is for them trying to recover with still their positive thinking.
424  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help poor children in underdeveloped countries? on: April 10, 2018, 02:00:37 PM
Anyone who earns a lot through bitcoin can help others particularly the street children in underdeveloped countries. I would love to organize a volunteer group to help and provide food and clothes to children who are deprived of the basic necessities such as food and shelter.
I feel if some of us who are already made or at least have some few stuffs going for us, can at least start from somewhere. I have always loved to lay note on the importance of giving back to the society and not just getting rich from your holding and living a large life. Sure, we may owe no one anything, but at least, it is always a good thing to help those who are really in dire need even if the governments would not.

If those people who have many or huge amount of bitcoin donate to those country have poor people or kids. bitcoin can be used to help people and give the opportunity to develop a economy, so it will probably help them in a simple way with bitcoin and any digital currencies.
Yeah, the wealth amassed from bitcoin can be used. The OP stated how bitcoin can help, but the fact remains that, bitcoin can only be a tool for some of us who are early adopters to get wealthy from being an asset asides being a currency, and from here, we can all try our best to put some few things together as philanthropists in our own community to give some of these kids the best in education.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 10, 2018, 01:30:56 PM
Now bitcoin and eth price is increasing. Is it right time to sell my eth as the price is a bit pump or I just hold it for further increase. Please give help me by giving your opinions.
You should not be asking people such a question. You only have to options in surviving in this market, and that is either for you to be a long term investor or to be a trader and if you want to trade, you should go and learn when to buy and when to sell to be able to help you make a good decision than asking people what to do because with that, you are only going to end up screwed. No one knows the future, or what happens next with Ethereum, and no one will be there to tell you when things end up changing and you are left hanging or joining FOMO.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: April 10, 2018, 11:25:38 AM
Judgment, this is the most vital part of investing or trading. There are so many traders who are earning. Some earn a little and some makes big catches. They always work on their decision making thing. This one trait is basic and enormous characteristic of a trader that must be adhered while being a trader. This is sensitive though, so better is to give maximum time for being a professional in this field.
But I do believe knowledge is one important factor which most new investors especially those who are just after the quick profit are not really trying to have but would rather just stay on their own level of ignorance and get emotional at every slight movement in the market.

Knowledge helps a whole lot when it comes to decision making and that is how it should be. Without that, you would just find yourself making some disgusting mistake with your trading options. We need to deal with multiple factors at different situations hence knowing what and when must be more important for hitting the desired targets.

Knowledge also includes experience. You can learn from books also from your experience. But continuous learning must be one of the factor which decides our trading results. Backtracking our mistakes and root cause analysis are the few strategies which help us to learn from our day today experiences.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade for money or emotional satisfaction? on: April 10, 2018, 10:40:11 AM
Emotional satisfaction has nothing to do or correlated with trading since most people will always think off on how to make money in trading and thats for the sake on making money.Emotional aspects isnt fitted on here and i do believe on than one where most of us here on this market do having the same goal which is on making money and thats the truth. In fact being emotional on trading is a factor that would affect your trading way.Its not a satisfaction side but a thing that can affect us which is really normal on trading.
Yes, this is a method at which one can make more money than at least just holding and the main idea is to make as much as you can from the fluctuation of the market and I have no idea how that can even play out in attributing to emotional satisfaction.

If I want emotional satisfaction, I would rather go get a girl or probably hit the aisle or do things that would give me the emotional satisfaction such as fun and more fun, but we have to work for it to be able to achieve all of that and trading is a way or job to hit such. In my opinion, our trading should be emotional-sentiment-free in all means so that we can execute our plans as we wish.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is a bubble? on: April 10, 2018, 08:51:52 AM
Hello Wink. I want to hear your opinion. Cryptocurrency is a bubble? How long will it last? Is it worth continuing to invest in it?
Well, let's see it this way. A bubble is something with no utmost value except for it just being something speculative. For most part of cryptocurrency, we may say it is a bubble, most especially with what we saw last year with a lot of people getting greedy, but when looking at the long term of it, it is not a bubble.

As long as there is a reason for demand, then we are good, and as long as there is absolutely no reason for demand except for people getting greedy, then that is when we have a problem, which absolutely leads to a huge correction like what we are having presently, but it is generally not a bubble in the literal sense.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos in the green on: April 10, 2018, 03:03:53 AM
Cryptocurrency market is always up and down. May be its time to uptrend of bitcoin price. It is our chance to get advantage from the increasing of bitcoin price. But I am sure that most of us still afraid and still doubt about it (uptrend time)
Always fluctuating up and down but in recent times downs are dominating that is the big problem now. Yesterday it seemed ups were into action but today again there is a change in trend. I do not know how long we are going to experience such mixed way of markets and like most people here I am also in fond of seeing continuous green.

Moreover up and down is something that we can never avoid. It has been this way for a while and it will keep being that way and the volatility is just part of its characteristics, but we cannot now say because of that all hope is lost already. Even if we keep going down now, it does not mean we will keep going down forever. I really do not see any reason to panic anyway, until there is a reason to panic.
430  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin going moon starting from June. Don't sale your Bitcoin right now !! on: April 09, 2018, 05:50:44 PM
It would be really interesting to re-read this thread, say, in September 2018 Smiley

Yes I got it mate what you meant and you just nailed it with a simple sentence I am sure those who are cribbing about the recent market situation and those who do panic selling will be regretting their move.
It is usually like the past trend repeating itself over and over again. I remember sometimes last year when some people had the opportunity to even get in at $1000 were clamoring on how bitcoin would have a failed rally and drop to $100 and so on. I guess they are where they are today while waiting for that value to come and some of them actually would not want to come out to say how huge a mistake they have made. It is the way the market is, some will use their own hands to screw themselves and then blaming the market for their mistakes.
431  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin has hit its peak? on: April 09, 2018, 11:19:09 AM
i think that bitcoin is in its very early stage, and still bitcoin has to live long, it is not its peak, i think that in future we can hope that bitcoin price is going to hit 100000$ in near future
A pretty much early stage and we have not even got anywhere at all. With the developments going on, and with the way things are changing pretty fast, once we start hitting the mainstream level of adoption, then we will start seeing some huge level of growth. No one however can know the exact peak of bitcoin but we definitely know as well that this is not the peak, and we still have a long room for growth.

I believe bitcoin will hit back again $19,000 and possible it will surpass that price, but time can tell when it will happen to hit that peak.
Time is probably  having answers for the mysteries. But, basic curiosity of human will never settle down and that is the reason we want to know what would happen again in this year and almost all the people here want to secure their future by knowing them well in advance.
432  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 09, 2018, 10:29:30 AM
It is not difficult at all to see where this is going......

It is not difficult?  Grin

So you have a crystal ball and so you made that prediction:

" April will be around 5000 - and then further down "

you should be considered the greatest gurus of all time, I think the cointelegraph will be very happy to do a interview with you and who knows you can replace the guy that makes the predictions on cointelegraph based on the technical analysis.

being frank, you can not assume that because the past price was low then the future price will be very high, no one can predict the price accurately.
I second with the cointelegraph having an interview with the guy lol. It is just very absurd for anyone to think price will just keep going down based on how it has been going down, as in like seriously ? We could have just assumed that as well when the bull rally was on and most people were assuming the next move from $19800. Just like you have said, assuming for the market is like trying to play the soothsayer role, but it is never done.

As per OP, I guess we can just assume we will keep going down until it reaches zero right ? No way! This is market, trend can change anytime, we may go lower or we can just switch anytime and start switching up. Still, the main thing here is that no one knows the future and we are just all here trying to see how things eventually turn out. OP cannot just basically judge on past figures.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad Psychology of Traders on: April 09, 2018, 09:10:47 AM
When someone decided to get into trading, he or she must review his or her abilities. Along with other abilities, this emotionless or emotion full ability must be considered at first priority. Knowledge and prior experience don’t matter a lot because it can be learned or earned later but if you don’t know how to control your emotions at right time, this trading thing is not for you.
Yeah, and I do not expect anyone to even review abilities if they have not even bothered to learn how to trade, read some trading books or strategies to trade effectively, because that totally shows extreme lack of skills and rather than reviewing abilities, it is better to get going with studying hard and well before even thinking of venturing into trading.

Emotion in trading is one thing that cannot be controlled in as much as you do not have any trading knowledge. Emotion control can only be achievable if you have a good idea of what you are doing. You cannot expect to be able to control your emotions when all you do as a trader is to gamble your positions which I believe a lot of people are always doing. It is one thing to gain some experience which you have built from learning and it is another thing to want to gain experience on your own without learning which is where a lot of people always miss it.

434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: April 09, 2018, 08:38:23 AM
We have only stepped into the fourth month of this year. All the crypto coins would be gaining value. It is a way too early to judge anything about ICOs.
This is not even about judging nor identifying scam presently, the truth is that presently I would say the whole market has been seriously affected with the way things have been generally and it is affecting everything. If this happens like this, I think the best thing is to just get more once the price goes down lower than the ICO price, as one way or the other you will still be winning a lot from the whole thing anyway in the long run.

I mean there should be some regulations at least in this forum level so that people and their contribution may remain secured. Some study finds out only 8% of ICOs keep their word and projects and others are leaving of their project in the middle for various reasons which may be including intentional drop-out too.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A Guide To Money Making And Helpful Tips on: April 08, 2018, 06:33:35 PM
This is really a well explained guide to success. It is an indepth description to making money and I like this very much.
A really well explained one indeed. I have seen a lot of people complain on how to make money but they are always in their comfort zones and not even ready to make any research to be able to get an upper hand. Complaining about not having money will not bring the money, it is always necessary to work towards it and there are so many ways that even cryptocurrency has been able to bring to the community for those who are ready and willing to utilize it to their own benefit.

I feel the most important thing is never to stay idle as long as you want to make money. Like they always say, there is absolutely no food for a lazy man and if you are lazy, then you should have yourself to blame. Even though your post encouraged a little bit of shitposting, but I actually understand what you were trying to drive at. In the huge sense of it all, you really made some pretty good points for those who are busy thinking of what to do to change their financial situations.
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: little note of trading bitcoin on: April 08, 2018, 06:03:21 PM
i'm new at bitcoin trading
i have read this little note of bitcoin trading someware

Bitcoin up = altcoin down
Bitcoin down = altcion down
Bitcoin stable = altcoin moon

is it true? can i use it for a guide in trading?
and why Bitcoin can greatly affect to other coins
i know bitcoin is the king, legend, the first but is it possible just because of that?
I think when bitcoin is up altcoins are also up but not all and not always. I just notice that when bitcoin was on its height i benefitted good also from altcoins because they were good also in price but now even tokens i cannot sell because of very low price.
It depends on the level of up we are talking about with bitcoin, most of the time if bitcoin starts gaining huge dominance from bull run, most of the altcoins are always hitting the block and hiding in their caves, I always see it more like transfer of money into bitcoin as the traders are looking for ways to make profit from the bull run. Just the mentality anyway based on what I have seen. However, we already know right from time that the lesser bitcoin goes, it affects altcoins greatly.

As far as I have been trading cryptocurrency, which is always the reality of the way things are in this market. The only time most altcoins do very well is whenever bitcoin is consolidating, and then you see them mooning like no man's business, and once bull run starts for bitcoin or a bear rally starts, you see most of them dropping pretty fast. I guess the traders are just playing it out for profit at least that is the way I see it.
437  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin down trend to 3000 on: April 08, 2018, 04:07:59 PM
A newbie that says it will go down to $3,000 without analysis. I've seen this type of person on social medias that are just bringing FUD to the young ones, you must stop doing this. Your not helping to the community and if its confirmed under $5,800, tell us what makes you think it is.
Probably he heard it from somewhere and then decided to spread the FUD  Grin. He is half way right though, because at the point we are going to be having a huge panic selling in the market, but I do not think it would get to that $3k stage at all as we still have a supporting trend around $4000 range that could hold it back.

$5800 was the last low this year, and breaking that support which is expected to give us a bounce back would absolutely cause a huge drop, but I do not see any reason for anyone to be worried anyway, we are getting close to recovery gradually.
438  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold Prices on: April 07, 2018, 06:12:44 PM
bitcoin more can get big results but of course, risks exist at large will also be bitcoin on gold. volatile remains a difficult issue for investors bypassed bitcoin.
Gold also poses great risks if you consider the people who have invested since 2013 into gold, probably never got any returns but  in that same periods bitcoin must have produced some 1500% of returns. Now say, are you ready to take risk or want to go with traditional options ?

Altcoins are indeed a threat for bitcoin because that is where the replacement for bitcoin will come in the future. Altcoins are having more and more better features and specifications and if the people really find an altcoin that is literally better than bitcoin then it will be just easy as pie for that altcoin to replace bitcoin.
I personally do not think altcoins are threat, they are altcoins and that is what they are always going to be, bitcoin is not going to remain stagnant in development and I am sure would keep progressing. Altcoins on the other hand would be more useful for investments while some of them who are claiming to be stronger than bitcoin without any serious usage or product will only end up useless. Let's wait and see.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Never Fear! Buy Bitcoins to make your life clear! on: April 07, 2018, 05:41:35 PM
I think we shouldn't even worry about Aug 1 anymore?
You make this comment sometime ago but thank God we can  use this as encourage to keep on holding and at the same time buying more as those that buying then are now in money. April is always a turning point in the price of bitcoin and I believe that from now we would have more of the bullish market than the bearish.
The idea behind decentralization itself and what brought about bitcoin is enough as an encouragement for anyone.
This is what has made a lot of old investors still in the game even when so many people declared bitcoin dead several times.

Whatever is happening now is bound to happen and will still happen in the future, but the truth is when you check bitcoin and even some other altcoins, even despite the fact that they are low today, those who have been holding since the beginning are still in profit. Patience is all that is just needed.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: April 07, 2018, 03:21:34 PM
Facebook has a great impact on ico of cryptocurrencies market. If Facebook will be banned then a great hamper will be occurred. Advertisement, community of ico will be failed due to bann this media Facebook.
Oh please... What impact are you even talking about ? The fact remains that Facebook banning cryptocurrency advert does not bring any issue at all and will never even bring any failure to the ICO space. Do you even have any idea of what you are saying at all ?

Facebook right now can only allow you if you can prove your company or ICO to be legal, so how is that supposed to be a problem but a solution to the whole scam that has been going on in the system ? This is the same path Google and other media platforms are already threading.
