Actually I have found a recent discussion here about this topic.
There were offers to reward both original stake holders (does not matter if they have all coins remaining or have 0 on balance) and additionally all those who could not redeem their stakes in time (basically such people who have lost all their funds).
It would make rich richer, poor richer, and those who missed would get their share too (because they also were initial stakeholders and they have believed in this idea).

This is going to be an Etherdelta killer. Road map says exchange is planned on Q4 2017, are you going to make it in time or it will be released later in 2018?

2 основых человека из компании уже ушли (этого сэма полиция объебанным остановила за рулем - вот это я понимаю - лицо компании);
мейвезер вообще не в курсах, что такое карта центра - ему ее просто дали сфоткаться и скорее всего просто заплатили наличными (никаких токенов у него нет);
списки не могли составить несколько месяцев;
сделали непонятные выплаты на непонятные суммы;
обещание с 8 неделями не выполнили;
постоянно лепят левые отмазки;
цена просела более чем в 3 раза (цена в бтц - еще больше)

сочувствую доходягам, которые заказали платиновые карты (сами знаете, сколько надо было за них платить).
центра ведь связана с финансами - кто этим макакам доверит деньги? и плевать то они хотели на сам токен и его цену, ведь они собрали кучу эфира

It is hard to say, I remember people were listing the same reasons back in 2013. All major sources of mass media were talking about it even then, but after that it collapsed and was low for several years. Mass media adoption does not always mean positive price movements.

Sellers are always asking more than those who are willing to buy.

On the exchange you can buy coins in 2 ways - buy from somebody by yourself (you can do that instantly by choosing the lowest price in the "ask" column), or wait for someone to sell to you (you list your buy order in the "bid" column and wait for somebody to sell to you at that price).
Logically, you will always get a cheaper price if someone is selling to you (he is an initiator), but you will have to wait for your order to be executed.
If we are talking about small amounts of money and there is a tiny difference between asking/selling prices - simply sell for the highest offered price and buy for the lowest offered price - they are always at the top.
