Do you guys have any plans to implement machine learning with your platform?
Yeah it's certainly on our radar and the first definite step is the integration of Microsoft's Power BI tools for writers in Scorum to mine the stats center for relevant sports data and then create interactive visualizations of that data for their articles. Beyond that, AI services such as predictive bots within the betting exchange are in the works. Good implementations. Do you have someone on board with good knowledge of ML? Curious about this. Apparently Vladislav Artemyev is an "AI evangelist", sounds similar.

That is impressive, and that was years ago. I bet it's even more watched nowadays. Yeah you're right, 2014 had 23M viewers. 2016 was up to 43M! Very impressive, especially considering how many other options there are in eSports nowadays.

How'd the team come up with the idea for Scorum with the whole media infusion?
The four co-founders have spent the last few years working in fantasy sports, game theory, poker, and digital journalism. Over time these interests intersected with the emerging innovations from blockchain technology. The rest, as they say, is history. The problem, solution, and opportunity were hashed over and the team solidified their vision for Scorum. They are very interesting fields, even to someone who is only casually acquainted with them such as myself. It's nice to see them all spun together into another one of my interests: business, which I think may be the most important skill. Do the founders have a lot of experience launching and running businesses, or have they brought someone on board with the necessary skills?

Is JavvyLee Brandon's wife?
Sorry if that's too intrusive lol, I just saw the same last name and thought it would be neat. The brains and the beauty together, I won't say which is which though Haha... It is a mystery, isn't it?! You guys certainly know how to build suspense lol.

So what happens to unsold tokens?
They will be placed in the Platform Supply Pool to pay out winning wagers. If there are an excess of tokens in the Platform Supply Pool, they will be sold to bring in new members (at a significant premium to market prices so as to not suppress the token price). Other excess tokens in the Platform Supply Pool will be distributed to existing members through the Community Incentive Plan Very solid plan it sounds like.

Any chance of you guys expanding to eSports betting?
We will for sure offer eSports betting. It's one of our core offerings. We already offer eSports on our existing platform, FansUnite.com and will definitely offer eSports betting on our real money sportsbook at FansUnite.ioThat's great, there's lots of money to be made there.

How'd you come up with the idea for Datum?
TL; DR Version: The three co-founders have several businesses (supply chain, robotics), and they were wondering how could they protect the data from hacking. Then, universal income referendum in Switzerland (Roger, Gebi, VC are all born and raised Swiss) happened and they were debating that every human has a value, because practically every human is being monetized through advertising / data collection. Need to protect the data for the devices made, need to protect the data for humans, need to establish a new security protocol that enables safe data sharing... and an idea for marketplace was born. April 2016 became September 2016, then came April 2017, August 2017 with the pre-sale and we're now in November with two hardware devices, and many more to come. Very cool story. It seems like there would be a lot more uses for this kind of data protection. Do you see Datum ever branching out?

Nice project but on this period no one would like to invest on a project which will be on air at 2019. Its pretry long time. At least a beta version should be ready on ico period and platform should be ready in 6 months if you guys really want some investment
Thank you for your comments. We have an existing platform with over 100,000 users viewable at https://fansunite.com/. We will have an Alpha version available for the real money sportsbook in April of 2018, and a Beta in June of 2018. This response alone should show any doubters that you're the real deal. Thanks for the kind words, okspam! How long hast he existing platform been up anyway? Since September 2014. More information is available here - https://fansunite.io/roadmapWhen you came out with the original platform, did you plan on making FansUnite the way it is planned today? Or was it planned originally as a more traditional betting site? Originally, when we released the platform in September of 2014, the plan was for FansUnite to eventually operate as a more traditional betting site. However, after integrating blockchain in September of 2016, we changed our plan to the vision we have today. Great question. It does seem like a logical transition to the blockchain. Traditional sites will probably be antique in a decade.

Yes, our wallet will support conversion of crypto-to-crypto. However, we were forced to postpone that feature for the initial prototype. That feature will likely be added within 1-2 weeks of the first release.
Would you guys consider bringing in a new dev or two to make sure this gets done correctly in a timely manner if need be? This is our #1 priority, and we are considering all options; including the on-boarding of more developers. We brought on two more in the past 30 days and are getting them up-to-speed. However, things changed on us, because I wasn't even going to build a prototype, at all, and only decided to spend the large sum of money to do so as a backup plan. When, the ICO landscape changed in October, it became apparent that not having a product was no longer an option. At that time, we ramped up and put more priority, but we ran into several difficulties with the technology side of things. Those delays would likely not be avoided by simply having more developers. You're totally right about the ICO landscape changing. It really seems to be withering up, even perfectly good products, teams, and ideas are struggling from all the bad apples. I don't see how Javvy could be anything but successful though as long as you can actually get your product out there. There's just too much demand for something like this, and the demand grows by the day.

What kind of features can we expect from the launch build of the wallet that aren't already in the prototype?
Still curious about this. You can exchange the currencies from within the wallet right? Like trade ETH for BTC? Yes, our wallet will support conversion of crypto-to-crypto. However, we were forced to postpone that feature for the initial prototype. That feature will likely be added within 1-2 weeks of the first release. I'm guessing it's John McTavish that's handling this thread. How'd you meet the rest of the team and get on board?
That's quite the story but to make it short I've travelled quite a bit in Eastern Europe and made some great connections in the tech world by teaching English at a few of the tech firms in Minsk, Belarus. One thing led to another and the team at Scorum asked me to help out with some copywriting for them. After the mental whirlwind of catching up with the quickly changing landscape that is the current cryptocurrency world, I realized that this was really something worth being a part of full time (and TBH teaching verb tenses was getting a bit old...) I've always loved reading and occasionally writing about sports online so this project is really engaging for me to be a part of. There's still tons to learn but that keeps it fresh! It was great to meet with the athletes for our video promo shoots!! Sounds like quite an adventure. Thanks for the intro.
