IP Obfuscation 4. 2 Factor Authorization Evan (other Dev team members), is this correct? Also, more importantly, can a list like this be officially maintained? Dates are not needed, but as a community member just knowing the development plan a few months in the future would be nice. Agreed, I'd rather do the IP tech before 2FA.  |

The NXT IPO created millionaires from those who invested 1 BTC. Those who had invested in the Qora IPO have seen a return of over ten times their initial investment. The Reddcoin IPO also turned out to be quite successful for its initial investors.
So, my question is, have there ever been any failed (not scam) IPOs? By "failed", I don't mean obvious scams like Stackcoin where the developer ran away with the IPO and never released a product. Rather, I mean situations where the price failed to rise after launch and those who invested in the IPO made a loss on their initial investment.

So is XC an invite only currency now? Kind of limits its exposure to the world if it cant even stand up against a little criticism. Guess the volume is speaking for itself. 2btc every 24 hours...
XC's demise, which may or may not be true, is nothing compared to the FUD/criticism that bitcoin undergoes. Grow a thick skin or die like the rest.

Firstly, I have no doubt that there are minor bugs that greater minds than me will find in darksend over the coming months and even years. Its the nature of the beast.
However, compare CrazyIranian666's postings to the person who actually did find an exploit and intercept a fair few masternode payments. There are plenty of offers of bounties. Hell, if Evan and the dev team could verify each of the claims to be as serious as they are suggested to be I'd be happy to pay a very substantial bounty for the information to be handed over appropriately for fixing.
The thing is, this particular person has jumped straight to I WILL DESTROY YOUR CURRENCY and BURNING THE MIDNIGHT OIL to create a DARKSEND DEANONYMISER. So what do we have here according to their statements on Reddit?
1) Somebody who has found a few minor bugs and feels like king of the world right now.
2) Somebody who has found a series of critical bugs that render Darksend worthless but has little interest in financial gain or assisting the dev team fix problems. (why on reddit??)
3) Somebody who is totally full of shit and is shouting nonsense on Reddit.
I guess we we will find out today.
Personally I'm hoping that this person has found some problems and is willing to help. That would be a far better situation than option 3).
Regardless if there are or aren't bugs found....all software has bugs - but I have more faith that Evan can fix and release patches faster than damage can get out of control. So no worries, find, fix, make stronger  |

Othe is right that BCX deserves no attention or respect, and certainly not payments or deals.
If he finds previously unknown exploits and hands them over then surely he deserves a bounty. I'll put 0.25 BTC to the bounty as well. For every exploit you find that the dev team confirms, I'll pay you .25 BTC

I've officially become a DarkCoin fanboy. lol Bought some Darkcoin in the past mostly just to trade. But I plan on holding it longterm now. So it seems as Blocknet was a 100% bullshit scam indeed. XC is also dead. Thank god I sold my XC and blocknet shares before too much harm was done.
Now there are only 2 anon coins left worth looking at, Monero and Darkcoin. The rest is 100% bullshit.
Spot on - cant believe how many scams came out copying Dark/Monero and XC was one of them. Copying almost everything from Dark, SuperNet and now BitSwift lol Feel sorry as there are alot of losers in both XC and Block never to see their investments again. Alot of people were screaming during the ICO saying it was a scam, they didnt even have anything tangible to show except for a few pretty graphics. In future I think ICO's can only succeed if they have a prototype or workable demo they can release to the public. |
