If you ask me, this is the first time in months that there doesn't seem to be a concern over DRK's new lower-low price this morning. That's a pretty good sign of weak hands being gone, IMO. There's only a handful of real coins backed by real developers in the sea of cartel shitcoin clones so there isn't a reason to bash real development. There's plently of scam coins to choose from if that's your MO. Dark isn't the only one taking a hit during this market downtrend.. Cloak is back down to pre-anon levels and it has a viable working trustless anon system with no restrictions. Definitely a good entry point for anyone who missed the rise the first time. Cloak's independent audit should made public later this week along with a revised technical whitepaper to reflect the changes made to the PoSA protocol during the last development cycle. Not that I'm aware of This is going to be far more expensive to operate than GPU mining. Some of these guys are getting 10,000KH/s + I'm running a few diffe[Suspicious link removed] instances and an 8 CPU is only doing 200KH/s which is around $160 a month. To get 10,000KH/s it would seem that it would cost like $8000 a month (50x$160) which doesn't make much sense economically. I understand the reasoning for going with the algo you went with but this only benefits people with large pockets in the same way the ASIC does so it kind of defeats the purpose lol. If you went with something that was GPU friendly it would benefit the coin as well as the network. The algorithm is very GPU friendly, it's just no one has done the work to implement it -- or they haven't told us and are reaping the rewards. X11 consists of the 11 SHA3 finalists, of which all are hardware optimized. So it'll be very efficient on that front. Nsimmons: No need for the anger nsimmons. It looks like you're getting a taste of your own medicine with all the trolls coming in here. For all those who don't know nsimmons outside of the DRK thread he's a resident DRK troll in the Cloak thread. How are we feeling about this now that some time has passed? Hello Everyone,
From the looks of the thread all issues users are experiencing are not bugs at this point, just a misunderstanding of how Darksend works. All major bugs have been resolved and I'm going to move on to RC5 and other unique features of Darkcoin that we've had in the works for awhile (I'm going to wait till all of the weak hands have left the building then I have some really cool stuff to announce).

I believe he got everything back I hope so, all the more reason to backup now to paper, and so should everyone else. Plus, as we've seen it isn't enough to have backups, you need to verify them each time too if possible - I know it's a pain in the arse but it saves grief down the road. Nobody takes backups seriously until it's too late and they're screwed. A newbie question - how do you back up to paper? Is the private key stored in plain text? Or is there any app to get it out of wallet.dat? I have a few digital backups but would not mind the paper as well Make sure you send a small test amount, like 1 coin, and try to import the private key, before you send all of it. Otherwise you will lose 14 drk when your printer cuts off part of the private key and you don't notice till later. |

How can the universe not be infinite? It is impossible. Space does not just stop. It expands outwardly forever.

I now see. Infinity is what is.

Ultimately, god is the universe. God is all. The universe is the totality of existence. They are one. In the highest form, god is a spaceless point of pure white conscious energy. Mix all colors of lights together and you get white. Open your internal antenna to all frequencies in the universe and you see the brightest, most beautiful, awing light ever. With infinite dimensions and light exists infinite peace, no feeling, material, drug or any object can compare with the supreme power of god in the highest form.
I know this because I have become that spaceless point of consciousness. I have seen the light and became the light.

Most people do not define God that way. You make many presumptions, which are wrong, or we don't know yet. Quantum theory postulates there are not infinite energy ranges, they are discrete. The universe may not be infinite. You state we are spiritual. Cite evidence for a soul. Anecdotes don't count. The thread was about scientific evidence, not philosophical arguments. |
