We know he is working on it because he talks with everyone daily on irc and gives updates. In addition, he always finishes his projects. He has a history of always finishing his projects. Simple as that. He doesn't need to send you copies of what he is doing to prove he is working on it. Devs don't send out copies to random people to peruse and evaluate. He is still working on it. Be patient and you'll like what they release.

Funny how people judge this coin so hard, and yet the devs are still here working on development, even though prices have dropped. I'm new to all these coins but from what I understand if a coin truely is shit
it will plummet and devs will ditch it, also no one will continue buying it in decent amounts anyway. This does not appear to be the case with crypt quite obviously.
I've been sitting back and watching so many coins over the last few months, trying to find methods of picking which coin to flip along side pumps for btc. Crypt and DRK are the only coins Karma being an exception that make we not want to sell even at a high price.
Reasoning
* Coin has a nice name for potential future gaming currency adoption. (or niche business functionality)
* Coin appears to have reputable devs who are willing to expel dead weight in order to progress.
* Coin has large user base with fair distribution 0% premine.
* Coin has had some large network hash pumping through it.
Done with my little first time rant, will continue to buy and hold. Hope devs keep up the good work.

Serious questions and observations... This is not intended as FUD...
There are only about 2 Million coins left for mining and most of the coin has already been dumped during the fraud perpetration. And the devs enabled this payout structure on their own coin. They can say they didn't pre-mine the coin, but if they mined from the start and then somehow got it on Cryptsy without working anon features this no pre-mine statement becomes a joke.

Or another option - there is something seriously wrong with cryptcoin protocol and/or blockchain (because it adds 10 CRYPT to one address but it doesn't subtract 10 CRYPT from the address from where it was (supposedly) sent).
The exchanges would have picked up on this instantly, so that isn't the answer. Exchanges don't care or check from which addresses the coins come. They are only interested in that they get coins on the address that they control (they have private key). I guess that there was human error (or multiple errors). You can't expect that the existing wallet will create "anonymous" transactions if this functionality hasn't been finished yet (and of course it cannot even theoretically be compiled in the executable file of the current wallet). The exchanges do care very much, they check the addresses vs confirmations all the time for double spends That's how WC was caught out. I don't know what WC is and what technology it uses. How can you check "addresses vs confirmations"? Confirmation is a number associated with one transaction. Address doesn't have any such number. Exchanges track confirmations. It is not the job of an exchange to prevent double spends. They can't prevent or resolve any double spends at all. The network itself (protocol and/or blockchain and/or miners) needs to "resolve" double spends. If CryptoNick's example is valid, then this actually means that CryptCoin network may actually allow double spends (but I seriously doubt this). First CryptoNick spent 10 CRYPT for donation, but this probably didn't decrease amount of coins on his address (maybe it decreased number of coins on another address, but we don't know that). So that means that these 10 CRYPT coins may be sent second time to another addess. Voila - double spend. Nope no double spend! I verified that there are ways to do this and you would need to program it which is what is going to happen, I am sure this is what they are working on since it is so simple. I expect there to be a new tab in commander with this functionality embedded into it. Such a simple idea! You only see positives correct but I could make it look like zero if I wanted. The blockchain is fully in tact too all of the transaction info is there on the block. I am amazed it was this easy! I don't know if Crypt Dev's would want me to divulge their plans. That is my $10 donation which is truly not showing my total amount of coin. Not a joke, not trying to be funny here at all. They will implement 2FA and all kinds of good stuff since this is why they created Commander. Makes so much sense now and with an SSL Commander is locked down. So do you think I should invest more on CRYPT than what I already invested ? do you see and your thoughs on the future of CRYPT ? |

I'm a developer and I don't understand anon technology much because I am not a cryptographer nor did I study computer security. However, do you know what I understand less? You. There are over 10 coins in the market which promises Anon technology, yet here you are on this thread, with no money tied to it, consistently, subtly trying to FUD this coin so concerned for its anon technology.
Mindfox and the other devs haven't disclosed how the anon will truly work, therefore you have no business here, no money, not anon to analyse, nothing, yet look at how much time you've spent here. When the anon IS released, feel free to come back, criticize it, give us your technical analysis as to why its an inferior anon compared to the other 'anon coins'.

I landed in this thread because this coin was recently pumped and the proponents (including well known pumpers) were advertising "true anonymity" (whatever that means) and they were heavily bashing other anon coins. I analyzed technologies of some other coins but I felt to the hype around this "true anonymity" that this coin is supposed to bring. So in your opinion this thread is reserved only for people that have money tied in this coin (bagholders)? There are many other motives for people to be interested in some technology (curiosity, plans to actually use it, to develop some kind of business that needs anonymity etc.). Poor excuse. You, me and everyone else in this thread has already established that there is NO anon to technically analyse as of yet, therefore the reason that you came into this thread for, at this very moment serves no purpose. If I were to humour you for a moment and believe that you are here solely to just see how this anon works, then I could understand you being here, quizzing mindfox about the tech and putting forth forward your thoughts as to why it fails, or succeeds IF the anon was already out for you to analyse. Who is funding this? MoosaNYC admitted to pay about 20 BTC to the dev team. 20 BTC is clearly not enough for any serious development. MindFox denied that he received any money for the development of anonymity feature.
People dumping this coin are going to wish they hadn't. when anon is unveiled it will easily be newsworthy. DRK never got anon working yet they got an article on Wired. Imagine a new method that actually works and the news that generates?
I doubt that anybody from cryptcoin community will be able to prove (in more or less strict mathematical sense) that the proposed anonymity method will work (that it actually provides any anonymity at all). It seems that (besides MindFox and maybe some other devs) there are no people in cryptcoin community that have enough knowledge or experience to critically review any proposed solution. You're mixing this new anonymity method with DRK which implements CoinJoin. CoinJoin is much more general concept and with this concept it is fairly clear what kind of anonymity it provides (it is more clear against which attacks is resistant). Many other coins have already created their own anonymity solution but it seems that no one of them received any serious media coverage. I can't speak for Moosa. He is an investor, not sure how much. I'm not too familiar with some of the new 2013 names in Crypto since I come from more of an old-school Bitcoin mining background. I won't disclose my investment but some of us have been given demonstrations because of that investment. Other coins that have implemented a non-coinjoin method away from the masternode still had an element of centralization to it. This is a completely decentralized solution that is something new and not dependent on anything. They have re-engineered something that I think even Satoshi would be proud of. I've signed an NDA so I won't be leaking technicals. If that causes you to lose confidence then please dump. I wish I was around when Fattious pulled his little scam. 35K was fricken cheap considering what is coming. 60K is still hella cheap. I really don't understand this cryptcoin community. MindFox may have some ideas for working anonymity solution (although he calls it "hard to trace system" instead of anonymity, but ok). I don't deny that. This community decided to publish whitepaper which describes some solution for anonymity. The proposed anonymity solution won't work at all. And then this community creates a great hype around this non workable anonymity solution. But when the anonymity issues are exposed by some reddit post and this reddit post starts to influence the price, no one with knowledge provides any actual technical explanation. Instead the mods (probably MoosaNYC) simply decide to remove post from reddit. Why is so hard for pumpers, "founders" or community to publish any kind of updated whitepaper? They don't have to include any technical details in it, they can just write general description and concept behind this idea (zero knowledge proofs etc.). And - of course - they can also throw in some marketing buzzwords. I think that more open and transparent development would be very beneficial to cryptcoin. why would they have to release an updated whitepaper ? so you can copy the idea ?  |

Crypt has so much potential and when ANON is released it will rise again in value, much like DRK did. No other coin offers what CRYPT will offer to the market.
Current price fluctuations are just market dynamics and a good opportunity to buy.
If CRYPT would not have been FUD-ed so hard we still would have probably been at 150-200k.

What does this say about the team and the ability to pick the right people for the job? Says bobsurplus, the man who went rogue on DCM and stole 21 BTC, after he got fired there for being incompetent because all he did was spread FUD at rival coins in order to get more investors to DCM. Because clearly he couldn't promote his silly coin in a legit way. This bobsurplus guy was in DCM team and killed small coins like HMY with his FUD because he wanted to kill competition before this coin even had a chance to get started and start growing. If this man was in WW2 he would kill children instead of soldiers before they grow up to be men. With chemical poison instead of face-to-face combat. That's the kind of 'man', and it's his so-called 'friends' who are right now spreading FUD in here. After he got fired from DCM, he killed his newly started coin with his 21 BTC investments he got from the IPO after like 2 days (which he refused to give back btw) by spreading FUD and mess with the market of DCM this time. He was part of a team, and 5 minutes after he got out he spread the forum with personal things, even family-related matter of his team companions. And kept saying how proud he was stealing their 21 btc and he would immediately make trips around the world with it (still in Canada bobsurplus?) Now he's investing in CLOAK and clearly is trying to outdo CRYPT as he sees it as a rival. Probably because he's about to make his second pump & dump on the CLOAK market like 2 days ago and want more people to have BTC available who can fill his pockets.
