Or another option - there is something seriously wrong with cryptcoin protocol and/or blockchain (because it adds 10 CRYPT to one address but it doesn't subtract 10 CRYPT from the address from where it was (supposedly) sent).
The exchanges would have picked up on this instantly, so that isn't the answer. Exchanges don't care or check from which addresses the coins come. They are only interested in that they get coins on the address that they control (they have private key). I guess that there was human error (or multiple errors). You can't expect that the existing wallet will create "anonymous" transactions if this functionality hasn't been finished yet (and of course it cannot even theoretically be compiled in the executable file of the current wallet). The exchanges do care very much, they check the addresses vs confirmations all the time for double spends That's how WC was caught out. ^^^ 100% true. How can you check "addresses vs confirmations"? Confirmation is a number associated with one transaction. Address doesn't have any such number. Exchanges track confirmations. If CryptoNick's example is valid, then this actually means that CryptCoin network may actually allow double spends (but I seriously doubt this). First CryptoNick spent 10 CRYPT for donation, but this probably didn't decrease amount of coins on his address (maybe it decreased number of coins on another address, but we don't know that). So that means that these 10 CRYPT coins may be sent second time to another addess. Voila - double spend. Nope no double spend! I verified that there are ways to do this and you would need to program it which is what is going to happen, I am sure this is what they are working on since it is so simple. I expect there to be a new tab in commander with this functionality embedded into it. Such a simple idea! You only see positives correct but I could make it look like zero if I wanted. The blockchain is fully in tact too all of the transaction info is there on the block. I am amazed it was this easy! I don't know if Crypt Dev's would want me to divulge their plans. That is my $10 donation which is truly not showing my total amount of coin. Not a joke, not trying to be funny here at all. They will implement 2FA and all kinds of good stuff since this is why they created Commander. Makes so much sense now and with an SSL Commander is locked down. |

Devs are relatively credible but there is alot a lot of FUD, lets say chances are 50/50 that the rumors are true.
It has half the coin cap than DRK and DRK is valued at 10$. Crypt could go between 5$-25$ ea.
Looking at it that way its worth a 5-15% of your portfolio investment.

CryptoNick didn't provide any proof that he really sent 10 CRYPT do the dev donation address. In fact, I know another guy that claims that he sent those 10 CRYPT (but he didn't prove that either). Being anonymous and being able to prove that you actually sent funds are completely different things. |

He only said that his wallet was untraceable from the transaction and people can't find out how much coins his wallet currently have. And those 10 CRYPT were sent from another address that he controls and so the amount of coins in EmfZo6AvDPmySMxgty6fKJay4MkH1hMLca didn't decrease. But CryptoNick is actually saying "I own address EmfZo6AvDPmySMxgty6fKJay4MkH1hMLca and I sent 10 CRYPT to dev address and this transaction didn't link my address EmfZo6AvDPmySMxgty6fKJay4MkH1hMLca to dev address" as a "hint" on how the anonymity feature will work. And one very simple explanation is that he sent funds from another address in his wallet. You don't need any anonymity feature for this, bitcoin can do this also. "people can't find out how much coins his wallet currently have" - this is nothing special and it happens all the time. For example, if I import some random private keys in my bitcoin wallet and I don't send any transactions (or I send carefully crafted transactions) then nobody will be able to determine the amount of coins in this wallet. The block chain is in tact and no double spend. Should I lower the payout to give the answer or wait for the Dev's to chime in and ask me to not reveal it? I will not reveal if they ask me not to since I don't want to mess with their progress since I am a shareholder. What would be even crazier is if I found something they don't even know about lol. It has to be what they are working on or I am sitting on a gold mine of my own. I will show you if the Dev's allow it. Money talks though so if the 10,000 goal is reached in the wallet I will give the info up. Maybe I will lower it to 3,000 coins to be fair.
Here is the Address to send to and also tell me if you can see how many coin I have. I guess I will prove it with a screen shot as someone sends money to that wallet but that can be faked so I would just have to let everyone in on it.
