I agree with that. Bitcointalk allows you to make money while you are engaging in a genuine conversation. If someone generates spam and the campaign pays for that, it is the failure of that specific project. But, the the Signature campaign also has a good effect on the forum postings. People want to generate better content to earn merits, which helps them to reach ranks.


I guess the other one is bitvest. Stake has been doing it for ages now. I have seen an old thread where it was discussed before. The thing is, they do not have any merit requirements and they do not care if those members adding any value or not.

Exactly. For example, when I registered to this forum, I was a newbie here but I had other forum experiences like Hacksforum and nulled. But the fact is, those forums are mostly operated to make money and people do unethical things to make money. Scammers everywhere. Even though Bitcointalk do not moderate scams, still it has one of the best system to prevent scammers.

I have successfully wasted almost half an hour reading all those things. As far as I understand, OP does not tell the whole story. It happens in most cases which makes them look like innocent victim. There is no reason for someone to create a 2nd account to place bets if they do not have any intention to bypass the limit. Creating an account because they cannot make transactions with some exchanges is just an excuse.

Even though Bitcoin ETF is not finally approved. But the title does not match with the news OP shared. I thought it was fake news because we have been seeing such fake news all around and the market movement as well. The previous fake tweets created a huge movement on the market but when the real approvals happened, we haven't seen any massive movement yet.

If you ask me the same question I have asked, I would say it depends on how interested the person is, depends on how much time they spend on the forum, and how much they read the topics. No on how much they have posted and how many merits they have earned. I know a lot of members who have been there for ages but they have earned only a few merits in the last five years but they know almost all the historical events. I know some members who have been active since I joined and they were not able to earn 50 merits in the last year but there are some opposites too. A lot of members earned more than 500 merits in a year.

You have asked me what is the motivation behind the question. This is just came to my mind because I saw a lot of people were accused of being alt accounts or they know too much about the forum even though they did not spend a lot of time here in the forum. My question is, how do they know that how long the person spend online each day? There was a time when I didn't post anything but I have browsed the forum all day. Do you think it is necessary to write post to get knowledge from the forum? Or just reading is well enough?

May I know what is the reason for that thinking? Do you think people with less experience in this forum are unable to read and write or what? Why do you think people who earn quick merits are alt accounts? What about the people I mentioned in the OP? How long it should take for a newbie to navigate the forum? Given the forum boards/sub boards has well detailed description. How long it should take for a newbie to know some historical events? For example, How long it should take for a newbie to know that satoshi is inactive, Lauda is not here anymore, TECHSHARE died, light_warrior died, Ratimov's fall down and some other things (Not everything at once).

If it's South Asian country like Bangladesh or Pakistan where Bitcoin is banned, he is likely to destroy himself by accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. Corruption is rocket high here. Almost every other government employee knows about Bitcoin and they even use Bitcoin for their benefits. But, when they want to destroy someone's life, they accuse them of being a Bitcoin user. I often see news like where a group of people were arrested because they were buying selling crypto. They get arrested under money loundering law and then they tie up many others law like they were buying selling drugs with crypto etc etc. The government are always negative about crypto. So, I would suggest not to use crypto in public at all.

But, they are not newbie on some specific field.

Most of the websites allow guest posting. So, whenever you see an article on news websites, that does not mean it was posted by their official authors. The article could come from a random crypto researcher who does not have enough knowledge about it. But those websites still allow them to publish articles.

This is not a good idea to take a position based on those articles. Most crypto newbies usually follows news websites, twitter influencers and Youtubers which they should not do. so, not only cointelegraph, but no one should take any websites articles seriously to trade. They should do their own research.

First one: A user with a very old registration date but made only a couple of posts, but did not earn merit to rank up and his login time is around 10 hours or so.

Second one: A user who registered two months ago and spent 7 days login time and earned around 250 merits in the last 60 days and made 500 posts.

Third one: A user who has been there for six months and spent 25 days login time but made only a hundred posts but his rank is member or Jr. member.

You should keep in mind that a user's rank is a newbie here, but maybe he was a member of another forum like hacks forum, craked forum, or nulled forum. Maybe they have dip knowledge of coding or other sectors. Now, who should be considered a newbie, and how long would you consider him as a newbie and why?

I often see people posts like don't teach others when you are a newbie. This is an absurd word in my dictionary. People like Powerglove or n0nce has far more better knowledge than some legendary members who has earned two thousands merits. So, what is wrong if a newbie try to correct you?

আসলে একটা দলের সাপোর্ট করলেই তার গুনগান গাইতে হবে এমন কোনো কথা নয়। আমার বাবা চাচারা সব সময় আওয়ামীলীগ করতো এবং চাচারাও এখনো করছে। কিন্তু একই সরকার বার বার দেশের ক্ষমতায় থেকে দেশে কি উন্নয়ন করছে, জনগনের অধিকার কতোটুকু আছে, সেগূলো দেখার মতো বিষয়। আমাদের গ্রামের ম্যাক্সিমাম মানুষ অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে গেছে। সরকার দেশের স্ট্রাকচারাল উন্নয়ন করছে, তবে সেগুলো শুধুই শহরের ভেতরেই সীমাবদ্ধ। আমার এতোটুকু বয়সে, আমার গ্রামের পিচে ঢালাই রাস্তাটার সংস্কার হতে দেখিনি। একই এম পি ১৫ বছর থাকার পরেও গ্রামের এই রাস্তায় একটা ইট অব্দি আসে নাই। রাস্তাটা যে, পিচের, সেটা বোঝার কোনো উপায় নেই। ২০ বছরে যদি একটা রাস্তা মেরামত না হয়, তবে সেই সরকার দিয়ে মানুষ কি করবে? সরকারের কাছে তো মানুষ ভাত কাপড় চায় না। চায় ভালো রাস্তা, চিকিৎসা ব্যাবস্থা, শিক্ষা, এগুলোই। সরকার গ্রাম পর্যায়ে কতোটুকু কাজ করেছে সেটা গ্রামে এসে দেখে যান সবাই। আমাদের গ্রামের মানুষের একটাই কথা, উন্নয়ন যেহেতু শহরে করেছে, তাইলে শহরের মানুষ ই ভোট দিক। আমরা ভোট দিবো না। আর সেই প্রভাব এই বারের এম পি ইলেকশনে পরেছে। সতন্ত্র প্রার্থী জয়ী হয়েছে।

আর নির্বাচন এর ব্যাপারে আমি বলবো, এখানে একটা আন্তর্জাতিক আইন থাকা উচিৎ। কোনো দেশে যদি ৫১ শতাংশ এর কম ভোট কাউন্ট হয়, তাইলে সেই নির্বাচন পুনরায় করতে হবে। কারণ যেই দেশে ৩০% ভোট এ সরকার নির্বাচিত হয়, সেটা কখনোই গ্রহনযোগ্য হতে পারে না।

It's not like Bitcoin Mixers are too necessary for privacy. We can increase privacy following the methods you have shared. But, that's too much task to do. While Mixers take a few clicks only. When you could do it with a few clicks, why do you have to do that many transactions as an alternative? Mixers are banned in this forum, but they are still online. They are banned here does not mean we cannot use them.

Whoever used the mixers before and loved the idea will keep using them. Most of the forum users do not have dirty money to clean. I don't think forum users use Bitcoin mixers too much. The mixers do not expect huge traffic from the forum. They were here to build a reputation, so they could get trust from their users.
