422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dont sell because you feel like selling, give it another thought. on: March 04, 2024, 12:10:01 PM
Yes, I will say it again and again! Don't sell because you want to sell, or maybe others are selling, and if you feel you have made some profit, then you must sell. My dear, give it a second thought. If you don't have a genuine reason for selling, like a deep need for money, or if you want to sell to buy luxurious things when you know that the price of bitcoin has more potential than what it has shown,.

I am not against anyone selling since; a lot of people who had hodl made lots of profit during this period. What I am trying to say is, if you have no significant need for the money, there is no point in selling it. If your income is enough for you and other expenses, you can continue to buy more bitcoin so that your portfolio will be massive. It should be about how much bitcoin you have, not how many dollars of bitcoin you are holding.
People invest for so many reasons, however you cannot tell them when and how to take their profit, and they could be collecting their profit for so many reasons is either they've been long time holder or they are collecting a percentage of their profit that they've held after a very long time, or they are just short time investors who feels the need to take profit.  Everybody that has invested in Bitcoin is not just doing it for a Mere sake, those persons must have taken an informed decision.

Anybody selling now might have either bought during the bear run when the price was low and given the price today, he or she sure has gotten good profit. So every investor has their plan, those who are selling at the moment might actually be executing the long term plan they've had before now.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 04, 2024, 09:19:58 AM
From the start of the match, it was predictable that Man United had no chance in this game. Even though they scored first but it is only a matter of time until Man City can turn things around. What I see is that Man United is very nervous, pressure after pressure continued to haunt them, and it gets worse in the second half. So instead to counterattack, all they had in mind was how to block the ball away from their crossbar. That is what actually becomes their nightmare because Man City has a lot of space to build attacks conveniently.
From the odds given in this match, one should be able to tell that Manchester United will find it hard to win this match against Manchester City. When they first scored the first goal, it was just like inviting fire into their home because I knew that is when Manchester City will intensify their attack and add more pressure to them, not even an equalizer goal will make them stop because they’ll want to add more goals which they did in the end. The fight for the top table is getting fierce and the first top three teams on that table needs to be collecting all three points in their remaining matches in the league in order to stand a chance for the league title. The result is not surprising to me because Manchester City have more confidence and zeal than Manchester United in winning the match.

I was very disappointed with Manchester United's performance today. The team played very badly. Especially their match strategy was bad. Rashford scored in just 8 minutes of the match. But even then Manchester United lost the match 3-1.

We have only Manchester City players dominating the entire match. Manchester City players have 74% ball possession today. They made a total of 27 shots. Manchester City players attacked a lot throughout the match. On the other hand, Manchester United played completely defensively. Manchester United players only made 3 shots in 90 minutes. Manchester United has no chance of being in the top four of the points table.

I think this match will never belong to Man United because as we know Man United has a very inconsistent performance, while Man City is in their best condition, and plus they are playing at home.

In this derby, one of the things that prevented Man United from having many chances was that they couldn't play with their best composition. There are so many players who are currently injured and what is most striking is the absence of Rasmus Hojlund, who had to get injured despite his performance being in good condition. Even if Man United can play with their best composition, it still doesn't guarantee that they will be able to steal points from Man City.
Manchester United would have capitalised on the few chances they had and defended it to the end, at the first half Rashford had other chances to score, there was one cross that was given to him by Bruno Fernandez and Kyle walker was at Rashford's back, he was supposed to run with the ball straight towards the goal but unfortunately he either missed his step and Kyle walker collected that ball, that chance could have at least made it 2-0 that first half.  If you want to defeat a team like Manchester city, you have to capitalize on all the chances you have, because Manchester city players sometimes lose confidence when they are losing, i saw that when they played against Chelsea.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 03, 2024, 04:40:22 PM
Manchester City created first two opportunities but Manchester United just scored a goal by Bruno Fernandes's assist and a shot from Rashford.
Manchester United started really well and the early goal has given them some confidence in the game. Haaland has not really been in this game, the only good chance that has come for Manchester City is from Foden's opportunity that was saved by the Manchester United goalkeeper. Manchester United should try to get another goal in the first half before the Manchester City coach will have the chance to work his magic in the halftime. If Manchester City fail to win this game, it will give Arsenal the advantage to take tomorrow.
Manchester United of course started very well with that early lead, it has helped them so far to gain some momentum and put Manchester City of balance a bit, however Manchester City haven't been relentless, they've been firing from all cylinders and making sure that they try to equalize the game, though the first half has ended 1-0 in favour of United but I'm seeing more trouble for Manchester United if they don't double the goal in the second half. on the 44th minute, Haaland almost equalize the game if not for the fact that he played the ball over the bar, and the citizens missed a whole lot of several chances, they were literally playing Manchester United half field before the end of the first half, onana too have really been helpful to united with his saves.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 02, 2024, 05:01:12 PM
Only a few goals in the first halves in England today... Waiting for the return goals from Wolves and Brighton... I would also like Liverpool to beat Nottingham Forest, but Liverpool have their next game against Sparta in the Europa League... Although they can't lose their lead in the EPL standings now, Nottingham Forest are not playing badly at home...
Am very certain that Chelsea would channel the anger they felt after losing the Carabao cup to Liverpool  to win this match. As long as UCL or Europa is concerned, Chelsea ain't coming because if we look at their standing on the premier league table and the number of matches left to be played, they have alot to worry about mostly as regards their performance in this season, but firstly it would be after restructuring the team.
Am betting on a win for Liverpool who are more dominant right now and Chelsea too to win or draw.
Because Chelsea failed to beat Liverpool at the Carabao, it does not mean that Brentford will be an easy ride for Chelsea because Chelsea's inconsistency might cause them to even drop points against Brentford. Chelsea will never play in the UEFA Champions League or European League next season because they cannot accumulate the points that will make them qualify for next season's UCL or European League.
Brentford played very well, they almost won the game if not for that header that was missed, 2-2 for the both teams is a fair one, as Chelsea too have struggled to get a point in this game. Pochettino is not getting his tactics right on this game maybe it's from the side of the players but something is definitely wrong with their style of play.

Nottingham forest vs Liverpool has been the drama of the day, as they played goaless for the first 90 minutes of play, however the dead luck was broken by nunez almost to the end of the 9 minutes extra time that was added. I was already thinking Manchester city have taken the lead on the league already, but like they say, it's not over until it's over.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 02, 2024, 04:22:23 PM
The situation for Rashford is getting worse in Manchester United and during the last games we saw from this player he never had a good chance to play for his team and since we are getting near to the Euro 2024 this can be hard for Rashford to save his place in his national team and now this can put his whole career in danger because of everything happening for Rashford in Manchester United.
I think the best he can do is to leave the team.
Even he started talking about it and he said Macnshest United is where he started playing from a very young age and he had many good offers with a huge amount of money from other teams but he didn't accept the offers for Manchester United and now Ten Hag doesn't respect this player.

https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1872438/man-utd-news-marcus-rashford

About Rashford actually Ten Hag has give him plenty of chances to playing for all of competitions this season even at Premier League so far he was played 25 times and from these matches if i am not mistaken Rashford has playing as the starter 15 times and 10 times as substitution player so these records is proven Ten Hag is trust him and the most problem is Rashford was unable to showing his best performance like he was showed last season so it's normal if Ten Hag has start to thinking will not using him anymore because Rashford could not meet the expectations of Ten Hag

Actually Rashford was lost to compete with Rasmus Hojlund for striker position because Rasmus Hojlund can able to performing well compared to him but after Rasmus Hojlund got injured Ten Hag has starting to playing him regularly but in the last 2 matches Rashford was unable to showing his best performance and failed to scores and for derby match tomorrow i am sure Ten Hag will playing him again and i think this is good time for Rashford to prove to Ten Hag that he can still play well especially tomorrow match is very hard for Manchester United and they are not in the favourable condition after lost some players and the latest is Maguire is doubtful to play
Manchester United have not been serious enough to look for a striker, especially in replacing Rashford over the years, Rashford should have been at the level of harry kane, victor osimhen and Haaland, because he has gathered a lot of experience over these years, but there has been a lot of redundancy in his progress for a very long time. Rasmus Hojlung should play alongside Rashford on the tomorrow encounter against Manchester city, at least it will create some balance at the frontline then maybe Bruno Fernandez will be a supporting attacker midfielder because he will be doing more of the shot on target from outside the 18 yard box.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I was able to donate Books to school pupils with my little Campaign Bitcoin on: March 02, 2024, 02:53:17 PM
It's been a while ever since I made a charitable donation that portrays the awareness of Bitcoin in my locality, so just as we began the month of February 2024, which also popularly known to be the month of love (i.e Saint Valentine), whereby people go about sharing gifts to family, friends and total strangers, a thought have been ringing in my head ever since to go spread some love, but due to  procrastination I was never able to execute my plan, not until few days ago when I finally started planning and could finally execute my plan two days ago (i.e 29th Feb) been the last day of the month of February 2024, by heading to a nearby government primary school to go share notebooks to it's pupils within my locality as could be seen in the pictures provided below with a small percentage of the little Bitcoin I have been privilege to earn/accumulate through signature campaign here on this forum since last year and of recent  (i.e Shuffle & Mega) organize by a reputable personality Sir "Little Mouse". Hence, the idea about sharing books to school pupils came to my mind, and we all know how important books happens to be an essential learning material which all pupils need to have for effective learning, but sometimes due to current economic hardship in my country, not all parents are able to afford a complete set of notebooks for all their kids for learning, of which with this little act of kindness of mine, I'm sure it did actually went a long way helping these kids have a semi complete set of learning materials worth having for effective learning.
So while thinking about how to share/donate these notebooks, an idea came to my mind, to not just only donate  notebook, but to do it in a Bitcoin way, and by that I mean instead of just buying ordinary notebooks and donate, I decided to add a little graphic design on the front cover of each of those notebooks with a basic Bitcoin Questions and Answers so as to enable these pupils whenever they have a look at it will be able to have a picturial view of what Bitcoin is all about, and know  some basic questions about Bitcoin, such as "What is Bitcoin?, Who invented Bitcoin? And What year was Bitcoin invented?", e.t.c As some pictures of the edited copies of the notebooks with the Basic Bitcoin Questions and Answers could all be seen below.

Aims & Objective of the project

There are two basic aims and objectives I had in mind when starting this project namely;

1. To spread love with a small percentage of the little Bitcoin I have been privilege to accumulate here on this forum, because just as February happens to be a month of love and Armsgiving, I thought it would be too bad of me if February passed me by without me sharing arms to those in need of it the most.

2. To spread the awareness of Bitcoin in a pictorial form (i.e Through the Question and Answers designed on the front cover of each of the notebooks donated), because just as we all know that a picture is more than a thousand words, I then decided to this time to create awareness in a picturial form, by donating books, pen, pencil and drinks to school pupils, as it all could be seen in the pictures down below.

Appreciation & Conclusion

First, I wish to thank Satoshi Nakamoto for inventing Bitcoin, which is the reason why we are all gathered here on this forum, and secondly, I wish to thank the management of the forum, the casino operators and campaign managers for giving us the privilege to be able to earn here on this forum, and including myself who today im able to use a few percentage of my earning to touch lives, and I feel very grateful, as all these would never have been possible without the good works of our reputable and hardworking campaign managers "Little Mouse, Hhampuz and Royse777". It's was indeed a pleasure working with you all.
OP, you've done a good job, as a Nigerian, I am in the know of the difficulties our primary school pupils go through especially those in the rural areas, where some of the pupils don't have writing materials and a whole lot of other basic learning materials that they need yet they don't have it. OP you've shown a good level of humanity by giving these children this writing materials, at least it's your own little way of giving back to the society. the printed materials alone gives them the basic knowledge about bitcoin and what bitcoin entails and I'm proud of the fact that you where able to come up with these idea.

When everything's going well, it's cool. But sometimes (often?) money problems lead to divorce. Suppose your spouse/husband gambles a lot, his or her loss/profit ratio is acceptable (so it's fine), but then one day he or she has bet it all and lost it all. You've got nothing left (and no savings either). What's your reaction? Has this ever happened to you?
As a man, if my wife is a gambler, there will come a time I will tell her to reduce her gambling playing time,  I believe it won't get to the level at which she will lose it all, because she will definitely be checkmated by me. I'm a gambler myself, so I know when is becoming excessive so I will take charge as the man of the house. However even though it gets to that point where she lose it all, it won't lead to divorce but she will definitely temporary stop gambling for a very long time. There will be no time she will even use our life savings to start gambling, the rule will always be that you will gamble with your spare money.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: March 01, 2024, 10:21:46 PM
I was contemplating the sum of all my gambling experience today and thinking how I have had so many fun experiences with gambling despite some negative connotations i've had of it growing up. When I was a young lad I was told that my grandfather took all the money that he had invested in each and every one of his grandchildrens college funds and that he lost it all when he divested it to start betting on horse races. Needless to say that i've never been to or seen a horse race to this day -but heck i'd sure love to go to the Kentucky Derby. One day I will.

Anyways, upon thinking of a method of gambling as old as horse racing and as new as an online crypto casino I can't help but think of all the different types and places you can gamble in and what the future of gambling may hold and what the experience is like for the end user. From Vegas to the middle of the ocean on a cruise ship you can gamble and everywhere in-between even the Metaverse online! But in the end its all about the feeling gambling gives you, and ultimately that has a lot to do with the individual experience and environment that it is held in.

This brings us to the future of gambling and where it looks to be headed. With this new VR technnology from Apple and Meta and other competitors getting in the game it is only a matter of time until everyone offers the "Apple VR experience in retail and online" Or the Meta, take your pick. I just can't wait to see more of that evolution, and I already know its here I just don't know who does it because i'm not the gambler my grandfather was albeit I do like a good gamble here or there  Wink

I am excited to see the comments. Please comment on where you think the future of gambling will be. What kinds of benefits will the gambling experience of the future bring in all walks of gambling? Will it be a good thing or a bad thing? What do you think makes the gambling experience the best in your opinion? Pick and choose any / all questions to be answered- I can't wait to see what everyone says.

Cheers,

TREAD93
Gambling has been existing for over 100 of years before now, and for every generation they have their own uniqueness and what is peculiar to them, as of today virtual gambling is almost at every part of the world and people are adapting to it, because it has its own complexity and excitement. Some of us inherited some of the gambling technique from either our parents or our grandparents and so far we've either built on the legacy or try to improve on what we've known concerning gambling.

For me the future of gambling is bright and there will be more and more gambling options that will be coming up as things go forward and as technology improves, because at every point some persons are very good predictors and they would want to win sometime with their prediction abilities, some persons want to double their money and some people are just habitual gamblers so the circle is endless.
430  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Binance problems with FG intensify on: March 01, 2024, 08:23:25 PM
Well it's no news that the federal government are out to really put regulations on how cryptocurrency dealings should be operated in Nigeria and one of their main target has being binance exchange and just today we saw that binance has disabled their P2P method of trading coins for Nigerian users.

Now I see this link about binance exchange top official being detained.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/02/breaking-nigeria-detains-binance-executives-in-cryptocurrency-crackdown/amp/

I just dey wonder where this madness go stop with Federal government and their quest to actually track down transaction that is better left untracked and to what extent and how many exchange will they target too because I believe if dem continue this then to trade coins for naija go hard well well only of we all no migrate to using decentralized exchange to trade our coins .
All these actions federal government is taking is all effort in futility, we get over Hundred exchange companies that Nigerians can go and trade their coins. They just want to victimize binance the same way they did to aboki FX. They are blaming every other person for the woes in the economy except themselves. They doing these to binance because it's the most popular, I even read on the news that the FG is asking Binance to pay 10 million dollars for damages, and I'm curious to ask, For what damages.

The fact is that, The madness will not stop since the CBN governor and national economic council  doesn't know the solution to our problem, so everybody go collect. The federal government even had to detain 2 binance representative that came to discuss with them concerning the issue.

Even though all the odds might  want to favour Manchester City, don't also forget that Manchester United are also their bitter rivals and they would want to prove a point at all cost, more like Manchester United wouldn't want to go to Etihad and come back empty hand.
I'm seeing a draw game on Sunday, I'm believing Eric Ten hag will come up with strong tactics that will earn them at least a draw.

Games like these are the ones that make Manchester City drop points, you remember when they met Chelsea, they played 1-1, so certain clubs wouldn't want to lose their reputation when they play against Manchester City, and Chelsea played so brilliantly against Manchester city to a point i really got excited watching that game, for me it was more like not the usual walk over game for Manchester City. Same thing I'm envisaging will happen when they meet Manchester United.(a derby game not miss)

I want to believe that also but I don't want to argue blindly, forget about the derby hype around Manchester City and United, one is superior than the other one right now. Only luck can make Manchester United win even with the home and away visiting of a thing. The only thing that matters to Manchester City right now is to win that match and sit next to Liverpool in the number one place in the table of the league, they have come far to have important opportunity to come and be playing derby to lose or draw.

Chelsea and Manchester situation is a different game, what gave the blues confidence in was that first round they play that ended as 4-4, the round configured their mind and that was what they built on but Manchester united didn't have that record, their first match this season alone was 3-0, don't you think it will be worse this time around with the current form of each of the teams.
We are not arguing blinding, this is football and anything can happen no matter the fact that Manchester City have the favorable odds to win Man United, we should also look at the possible scenario of a draw. If you talk about what matters to Man City now is to win the match and sit next to Liverpool, don't also forget that what matters to Manchester United at the moment is for them to either get a draw or win that match so that they could get some point to build up their points to go into the top four, you should recognize that everybody must have a priority no matter how you place them.   Nobody gave Chelsea mind to play Manchester City draw, Chelsea players came out that day and played with their whole heart without any intimidation and with the mindset that they are going to get something at the end of the day. So I'm saying, same spirit can be adopted by Manchester united players to play Man City to a stand still.
432  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 01, 2024, 04:57:08 PM
When you have one or more children, you have heavy responsibilities. Sometimes you're on a tight budget. Can being a parent change our playing habits? Are losses even harder to bear when you're in charge of a family? What are your experiences in this area?
Of course being a parent can change your gambling playing habit especially if you are a heavy staker, being a parent will make you reduce your staking power because most times your always on budget, and you know the heavy the staking power the heavy the reward, which parenting wouldn't allow you spend huge amount on gambling, because you have a family to run, and the day to day running of a family is strictly in your hands, so have to adjust your spending limit. Parenting and taking care of a children can also reduce your gamble playing time, especially if your someone that spends much time when gambling, so when kids are involve you definitely have to reduce your time and focus on taking care of your kids and spending time with them.

At first it will be very taxing for you to combine both parenting and creating time for gambling, but over time you will see yourself creating space for gambling time, because you'll be adjusting to a new reality.

My fear about Nigeria
Nigeria has been a country of promising dream and a better future to it's young citizens but with the look of things it seems like time is revealing the actual fate for Nigerians, the dream people had when they were much younger only to grow up and realize that the system does not allow dreams come through .
Just some days back I had a dream about Nigeria and in my dream I saw people running up and down and protested left, right and center and I came to discover that they were protesting against the government and the government ordered that they be shot directly at and that was how people were dieing in their numbers and it became a serious issue that led the country to a very devastated state  with the way things are going in this country it's looking like there is no hope for the country on a daily basis
The solution to all this lies in democracy for as long as we can not have democracy there can never be good gorvernance the system in the Nigerian politics needs a total reformation to make it work
What posible solutions do u think Nigeria needs to be a better place please give your thoughts

I don't know what you must have heard about Nigeria or the news you've read about Nigeria, but from your storyline I can deduce that you're talking about the End Sars protest that happened in 2020 October, where some military men where shooting live bullets on peaceful civilians that were protesting.

If a country is experiencing leadership failure citizens will always come out to protest, Nigerians have been doing that over the years with the hope of getting leaders that will solve their problem outrightly. It's a tall dream as to wanting to solving the burning issues affecting Nigerians and Nigeria, however I believe Nigerians Will survive this phase of democracy we are actually experiencing at the moment because we are people that always keep hope alive and will strive to make things better for ourselves not wanting to wait on government because that will be more like an endless wait.
434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 29, 2024, 09:26:13 PM
If Man United still want to enter the Europa League then at least they can get just 1 point. But in recent years I have always been pessimistic about Man United. Man United's game dominance is always inferior to Man City. The possession of the ball and the final result prove that Man City is very dominant. Man United currently seems to lose strength when facing big clubs. Poor handling, poor play, no confidence and no fighting spirit. So I think Man United will lose.
The Manchester derby is one of the most exciting matches to look forward to, even though before the match starts we can easily guess that Man City will be able to secure full points. I also believe that Ten Hag fleet will again lose points to Man City, because in many aspects Pep fleet really deserves to be the favorite. Of course this derby is very full of egos, but the current strengths of the two teams are very different.

Last week, United surprisingly lost to Fulham at Old Trafford, and seeing as their next opponent is Man City, I think it will be difficult for Ten Hag to create a turning point in performance. Apart from that, Man City need for an additional 3 points definitely encourages them to work harder, because losing points at times like this will make their chances of winning a trophy more difficult.

Liverpool-Man City-Arsenal are all separated by only 1 point, how important are 3 points now, where Man City other two rivals are facing easier matches. On the other hand, United actually really needs him because Ten Hag has the ambition to break into the top 4 of the standings, even though we understand that this is very difficult to do. Because United has to wait for Tottenham and Aston Villa to stumble, and United must continue to be consistent to be able to realize their ambitions.
Even though all the odds might  want to favour Manchester City, don't also forget that Manchester United are also their bitter rivals and they would want to prove a point at all cost, more like Manchester United wouldn't want to go to Etihad and come back empty hand.

435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports that you don’t watch but you keep placing bets on: February 29, 2024, 07:54:25 PM
Do you have a sports that you keep betting on even though you don’t watch this sports live or you don’t know the full specifications of this game?

In my case, I keep betting on tennis whenever I have spare money on my casino balance from my VIP rewards(Rakeback) after my long game session on live games. I’m not really a fan of sports betting in general but I do place bet randomly on tennis especially the Asian Handicap on live match. I’m always betting on the underdog that already has 1 set advantage to the favorite players. I do this bet just for fun no string attached.

I believe this is the literal definition of “gamble what you can afford to lose”.  Grin

Well, I am one person that is a football lover and literally all my betting is always on football games, but there was a certain time in my life I started placing bet on dog race even though I wasn't fully submerged into it, but however I made some bet on dog race sometime past. I didn't continue because it was not my environment of specialty, so I had to stop and concentrated on football where I understand how it works.

But one thing with betting is the fact that you can actually learn or concentrate on a particular sports and understand how it works then you begin to bet on them even though is not your area of specialty, wether it is hockey, tennis, football, basketball etc. what you just need to do is to give some time of concentration to understand how the game works, once you give your time and dedication to a certain sports and you begin to understand those teams that are likely winners and people that are good at it, then you can begin to place your bet on them.

The complexity and sweetness of gambling can only be enjoyed when you try new things especially out of your comfort zone, at first it might look dangerous but it's worth trying.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Is fossil fuels REALLY running out quickly, or do we still have time? on: February 29, 2024, 05:11:00 PM
The government, at least in my country, has been aggressively promoting the shift from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles, LPG stoves to electric stoves, and so on. Anything without electricity as the power source is now labeled as "bad." I find it frustrating for two reasons: firstly, it requires more money to buy new items, and secondly, I'm skeptical that the new items will perform as well as my old ones. Electric stoves lack satisfaction, and electric vehicles may struggle with long distances, among other concerns.

Some conspiracy theories suggest that this is a strategy by organizations like the WEF to control us. What are your thoughts? Is there a genuine and urgent need to embrace renewable energy, or is it merely a directive for the masses, giving time for the elite to stockpile valuable resources? I don't think it's about carbon emission though, since the electricity used is from coal generators... "They" just don't want us to use LPG & gasoline.
I think it has more to do with carbon emission, the government of your country wants to rapidly move to renewable source of energy, that is why maybe I feel they've instructed manufacturers to sort of produce some of the equipments that will use more of electricity instead of gasoline.

Don't be skeptical about the performance of the new electric materials, the manufacturers already know the standard and what to produce, so don't be skeptical about the usage, however you should be concerned about the amount of power these equipments might consume because I'm seeing your electric bill going up.

I don't see it as a conspiracy theory anywhere, I believe the government in your country is laying the needed environment for the new phase of our new reality that we are going to come into in the next 10 years or more. Forget about the mileage electric cars can go, with time production of electric cars that can go far distance will come onboard.

So I brought this topic to let us know that in gambling, if you just play it as though you don't take it seriously whether you win or lose then you might surprisingly win an amount that will amaze you one day and it would look as if you're smart or you know how to predict the outcome of events and in most cases, when a gambler wins they doesn't really care much about their previous losses regardless of the amount they won.

So I just felt like making some predictions in sports betting today and the events was about 8 matches, and it all played according to how I predicted them to go and I won the bet though I spent less than $1 just #1000 in my local currency to place the bet and i won close to $23 which is about #32000 in my local currency as well. Congratulations to me as i didn't expect this winning.

Of course gambling still pays as long as you get your prediction right you will get your reward. congratulations and I must say you did a good job because I took out time to check your predictions.
One good thing about winning a bet is that it makes you hyperactive and so excited within yourself and just like you said Op, one good win makes you forget your losses. however don't be too carried away because it can get messy sometimes, especially when you lose consistently in a row.

Gambling does pay, nobody should tell you that gambling doesn't pay, it all has to do with how to manage your predictions and risk, then know the limit to your staking capacity, just as you've used less than $1 to win $23, at least to a large extent you where able to minimize your risk so even though you lose, your losses are not much based on the amount you staked.

What are the limits of Bitcoin’s rise... and is it a strong and consistent rise... and what are the most prominent implications of this rise and its most prominent results?
I think the Bitcoin rise has a lot to do with the demand and supply of it, when the demand is high the value of bitcoin goes high, same thing if the demand is low  the value will reduce. however bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that you cannot predict the limit to which it can reach when it on upward trend, the demand for Bitcoin is high at the moment that is why you see the value going up and people are rushing in so they won't be left out on the bullrun that has gradually started, so given the way things are, you cannot predict it limit.

So The most prominent result of the Bitcoin rise is the value it gives for your investment and how long it will take for it to yield results, because at the end of the day you will get a return of your investment.

$26bn passed through Binance from people that CBN cannot adequately identified says CBN governor.

The CBN governor, Cardoso disclosed this on Tuesday after the 293rd meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee in Abuja.

This is the video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/kmjUwP8-Xzc?si=Tfq0AwLOt0O9rZjb

If you do not have time, start watching from 19:50.

He also talked about more regulations are coming with zero tolerance. That was before 19:50.
First of all, the activities that go on binance are all in crypto, and cryptocurrency is a decentralized currency, it is not controlled by any government, so if the cbn governor wants to bring policies that will control the activities of cryptocurrency on exchange wallet, it is not going to be possible,  just the way binance have reacted to the situation on ground, at best they had to remove the naira sector of P2P,  because you cannot sanction what you cannot. So CBN cannot monitor or try to gag the transactions that go on on cryptocurrency no matter the policy that they bring.

I been dey try to sell bitcoin in Binance just now and I see say di naira side e no dey work and I come tried USD di thing work and I come still try naira again na di same thing.

Once you click naira everything on the screen go blank and when you click another currency then everything go come back.

If you dey use Binance dey receive payment make una go change am now and move all the coin you get in Binance to another exchange before the story change.
I feel binance removing the naira P2P section from their system is as a result of some of the actions of government especially the Central Bank of Nigeria, for some weeks now they've been hammering on binance for not following some guidelines or whatever they have brought out for the xchange companies to follow, and are using it as excuses for some of the actions that they want to take. Omo to transfer coins from one central exchange wallet to another no be small thing, because the transaction fee now don high watin no good.
