The game between Liverpool and Manchester City might not decide the winner of the league but it will contribute to it. The winner of the game will be able to gain an important three points which will have an immense effect on the title race. With some Liverpool players recovering from injuries, we might see a game that will look like a finals of a competition. I am predicting that the game will end in a draw or City will carry the day. Except there is an improvement, I doubt that the present Liverpool team will beat City.

A draw game will favor Arsenal to gain points, and some advantage before they welcome Manchester City for their second leg this season. Liverpool river with injury to players will be able to put up a fight because it is now not the players in the game, but the mentality of the players, and when it comes to mentality, Liverpool players have it in abundance just as Manchester City players have it. Salah who did not play this week may be available for that important game, if he is, it will be a huge boost to Liverpool.

Great win for City and it was very well deserved, they controlled the game from start to finish and limited Manchester United to just 1 shot on target and 9 touches in the opposition box, that tells you how dominant city was. The three points moves City to within 1 point of Liverpool and perfectly sets up next weekend's game against Liverpool at Anfield, that game is so important for both teams and could be crucial in the title race.

Having said that, i don't think that match is going to be the title decider even though the points in it are so precious, but there are so many more games to be player. A draw might be a good result for the two teams, but much better for Liverpool, whilst if we get a winner, i don't necessarily think the loser is out of the title race, it just makes things more difficult for them.

Manchester city was really deserving of their win today and Doku as well as Folan was brilliant in their performance. Foden somehow knew he was gonna score and when the opportunity came, he didn't hesitate to shoot it past Onana.
Doku needs to work on his outside shots, because he would have scored had it been he was good with outside shots like foden did.

The next match between Liverpool and city will be hot as imagined and I know whoever wins gets one step closer to lifting the trophy, unless they draw but it is highly unlikely because of the current tempo of both teams.

It is always difficult to stop Manchester City if the players are not calm in controlling the pressure. Manchester City had a big lead in their home game and that allowed them to really dominate the game, but all their efforts in the first half failed due to lack of good finishing and Onana's good performance.

Of course, Foden made everything better when Haaland, Rodry, De Bruyne failed with their chances. Phil Foden scored 2 goals and 1 additional goal from Haaland closed the match for Manchester City's victory. So in the end Manchester United was unable to match Manchester City in terms of play. They lost everything and that's why Manchester City are favorites in the derby match.

I would not have thought that Manchester City would fail but being a goal behind in the first half made many fans worry whether the team would lose but that was not true because we know Manchester City competed at home more ferociously even though it was only in the second half scoring 3 goals as a victory, so don't be surprised if Manchester United lost because it can be said for now they are not comparable.

Phil Foden's first goal made all the directions of the goal open, the Red Devils players had begun to lose their balance because they knew the dominance of the ball was more controlled by Manchester City and so was the goal from Haaland it was Amrabat's mistake who could not control the ball properly as a result the blunder became a goal for Manchester City.

Yeah here we can see that Manchester City and Manchester United are at different levels Manchester City is able to dominate from all sides while Manchester United couldn't do anything and I suspect they are just aiming for a draw, unfortunately Manchester City did not give the opponent a chance. Now the title race in the Premier League is getting more exciting and we have 3 teams that are struggling, Liverpool and Manchester City managed to win the last match and in less than 30 minutes Arsenal will also play their 27th match but Arsenal seems to have more luck because they are playing against a weak team.

This race will be clear when the top 2 teams battle each other next week yeah Liverpool vs Manchester City, we know Liverpool are in an advantageous position because they play at home but on the other hand Manchester City is also on fire after beating Manchester United a few hours ago I mean this will have an impact on the players' confidence.

Great performance by Manchester City and I never doubted their ability to win this game. But Manchester United tried to show their capacity to put up a fight when Marcus Rashford scored that breathtaking goal. The goal was also orchestrated by a wonderful pass from Onana. United was able to hold the game until the second half when Foden struck with another quality goal. United was punished for giving the English striker space to use his dangerous left foot.

Too much I want to say but nothing is worth saying when they have no positive results, all I say would eventually not make sense because Manchester United failed to win or draw this bloody game.
I'd be a fat ass lair is that wasn't one of the best performance for Andrea Onana in the first half of the game for Manchester United ever since he signed in.

Beautiful goals from Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden but then, Manchester City showed class and then game Manchester United a very good punishment in this new month. Lol.

What a pity for United as they conceded 3 goals in the second half. It was clear from the first half that City will win the match due to the way they were mounting pressure in United box. I don't know whose fault is this, maybe it is the fault of the coach or United players who are not playing the game as if they have legs or know what to play.

Foden scored two goals, and Haaland wrapped it up with a brilliant goal on the 90+1 minutes to make it 3-1. City has gained all three point, and this is a success for them to continue the title race, with hope of winning it.

The first half indeed Manchester United had a hope where they could compensate for what Manchester City did in terms of play only for the second half they were completely destroyed when Pep made several differences in schemes including to press more which made Manchester United lose momentum especially with the loss of their midfield which made the situation worse.

The 3-1 score makes Manchester City give a strong signal for the competition in the race for the trophy this time but on the other hand, this result is a situation that looks the same as most people's predictions because after all, Manchester United are currently struggling to improve their consistency especially with Hojlund injured even though in the last few matches they have been helped by his performance making the attack line decline slightly.
Rashford's opening goal in this match actually made Manchester City more serious in attacking in the second half and I again saw how Foden really contributed well. It seems like Foden is currently quite comfortable with Pep's formation and scheme.

For a moment I really believed that United will actually win the game with just 1 shot towards the goalie but as soon as 2nd half started , City was on a rampage looking to actually demolish this United team for playing a false football. Now , the pressure moved on Arsenal to win and remain alongside Liverpool and City for EPL title fight.  

Very disappointing performance from Manchester United, i also thought they could win the match because i missed the first 20 minutes and after seeing Manchester United take an early lead i thought they were playing well and rushed out to watch the match and i was disappointed with the way they were playing, they lacked confidence with the ball and lost almost every ball at their feet. From seeing their performance i just knew they couldn’t win the game anymore, if Manchester City sees too much of the ball they will keep pressing and pressing until they get  the goal and that was what happened in the second half.

It was indeed a total humiliation for the Red Devils tonight to lose a match they scored first and held it throughout first half. Right now the major blame is on the coach and there is serious pressure for him to be sacked as can be seen trending on Twitter. If Ten Haag escapes this one, then he stay at Old Trafford will be long. As usual, Onana was not spared in the blame as he is also trending on social media. Recur that He has been at the receiving end of several criticism following some major losses of Manchester United. I think he has to do better to win the confidence of the supporters once again.

If Manchester Cities continues getting these important points, they will just need Liverpool to lose or draw and match, like they nearly did yesterday, to climb to the top of the league. The league is still open though.

Are you serious about this? Why should you even think Manchester United will win Manchester City? Or you don’t know how Manchester City really needed the match. Manchester United's performances have not really been nice this season. In most of the matches they have been playing and winning recently, it’s just because they were not playing against strong teams. Manchester United will find it difficult to win any top club at the moment. I had full confidence that Manchester City would win today's match.

Excellent first goal from Foden, he gave the keeper no chance. Foden was excellent in the match, he scored two goals again and he is like a nightmare for United’s defenders. Haaland was also able to increase his goal tally as he scored the last goal from a defensive error. It was a brilliant overall performance from Manchester City they played well and deserved to win.

Even after conceding one goal, Manchester City keeps on pressuring Manchester United, their performance didn’t drop even after conceding one. Seriously, Foden played well in the match, today’s match was a fantastic match for Manchester City.

Just few weeks ago, Chelsea held City to a draw at the Etihad stadium - it would've even ended in a loss if not for that late Rodri goal. That's why I'm not surprised that some people expected Man Utd to put up more fight than they did today. As a Liverpool fan, I was hoping Man Utd will make City drop points today ahead of the Liverpool vs City game next weekend. But it was not to be.

A quick look at the stats shows that Man Utd didn't really fight back at all. They just scored early and sat deep till city equalized. Then came out to attack which opened up for more goals.

I wonder what is ETH's strategy will Utd though, I watched today's game and there was none.

As for me, I know that Manchester United will not go away with three points despite being their first team to score because of the pressure on them. It was just lucky that Manchester United used to score one goal. But seriously, I did not expect three goals from Manchester City in the second half. All I was expecting was a draw after Manchester United was able to defend their goal in the first half. It is so disappointing to see Manchester United lose the game after they were able to defend the one goal they scored in the 8th minute to the end of the first half. 
 

Manchester United defense line was too porous so Onana goal conceded three goals. Manchester City managed to find gaps and weaknesses in Ten Hag men in the second half. Foden managed to be the hero of the victory, De Bruyne and Halaand didn't look very aggressive in today match. The victory achieved by Pep Guardiola squad went as predicted, and Manchester United failed to force their city rivals to a draw. Statistically, Manchester United were only able to fire three shots at the goal, and one shot on target resulted in the only goal. Meanwhile, Manchester City dominated the game, with possession of the ball and number of shots.

This victory made Manchester City continue to pressure Liverpool at the top of the standings. Pep Guardiola managed to dismiss fans concerns in this derby match, some of whom predicted that Manchester City might lose points. The impact of this defeat makes it difficult for Manchester United to finish in the top four of the standings again, which I think they can no longer achieve with the remaining games ahead. The Europa League zone is the most realistic target to achieve, but this does not guarantee that Ten Hag position will still be maintained as manager next season.

It took Manchester City quite a long time to break the deadlock honestly. But after breaking it their confidence in themselves increased quite a lot to complete the comeback.  

Foden was just amazing today. By scoring 2 goals I think he made the biggest impact and he was the man of the match. But I must admit that Rashford's goal was also amazing. It came in a really unexpected time and the shot was incredible! He could have scored more goals after that if he was able to control the ball properly. But anyways, it was a deserved victory for Manchester City.

Yesterday, Liverpool had a narrow escape in the hands of Northingham Forest,I thought the game was going to end in a draw,but I was schocked when Liverpool won at the last minute of the added time to make it 1:0.If Liverpool continue to play like this,then I'm beginning to think that their losing is at the corner,they will soon lose and either Mancity or Arsenal will take their position.
And also,the game between Mancity and Manchester United ended in a 3:1 in favour of City.This particular game,I knew Man u won't be able to stand City,even despite winning in the first half.

I agree with you that Manchester City is playing weaker football compared to the one they played last season. Last season, Manchester City's performance was amazing, and they scored a lot of goals against their opponents, which helped them win the Premier League trophy last season. Since Manchester City is struggling to score enough goals against their opponent, that doesn't mean that Liverpool has a higher chance of winning the league, because if Manchester City fails to overtake Liverpool in the league table, Arsenal will do that. 

What makes you think Arsenal will do it? Yes, they're good now too, but they, generally like MC and Liverpool can make a mistake and drop out of the championship race. If you think about it that way, not too far behind all of them is Aston Vila, maybe they will still fight too, although I don't believe that, but anything can happen

Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are all likely to drop points. The Premier League is a very competitive league. There are many teams who are capable of performing well and have strong squads. So even though Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are in very good form, they are likely to drop points in the upcoming matches.

It is impossible to say which of these three teams will win the title. These teams are consistently playing well. However, if one of the teams lose consistency and lose a match, they will fall behind in the title race. Liverpool are now somewhat in the safe zone with 63 points from 27 matches. But I am looking forward to Liverpool's next match. Liverpool is going to face Manchester City in the next match.

Today "Manchester City" has already played a match against an opponent, which can be called worthy - "Manchester United". And MC showed themselves perfectly, they had a lot of possession, shot on goal, and naturally scored, in the end 3-1 and MC takes 3 points. Manchester United’s performance in this match was disappointing, they were completely scared of Manchester City with their style of play.

The main reason for Man City players to dominate the match was because of the defensive formation Ten Hag asked his players to switch to after getting their first goal which is always not favorable against Manchester City.

The mistake Manchester United made, was not to use the same tactics(counterattack and counter-defense) Chelsea used against Manchester City. Ten Hag would have used such tactics against Manchester City because that's the only way to hold them to a draw match.

Manchester City is not a team to play a defense game against or come out to attack without being strategically aggressive towards them.

Manchester City are desperate and determined to win all their tough matches for this month. I just hope Liverpool or Arsenal will be able to stand them to a draw because they don't want to lose or draw any of their remaining premier league matches
