421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a best bounty campaign to join ? on: March 30, 2024, 03:37:11 AM
I want to join some bounty campaign to have some extra income....but looking at the bounties section..it is very confusing and I am not able to decide what to join,I don't want to waste time in some scam projects.
If possible can I get list of some good bounty managers with their telegram channel link.

What you need to do is to join only those bounties where the payment is made in USDT and the funds are already escrowed. That is the only way that you can get guarantee that you will get paid for your efforts and time. Other than that there is zero guarantee that you will get paid and the crypto that is being paid to you will be worth for your work. I had say it is better in these times to lookout for airdrops as they are a good source of income.
422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin games in exchanges on: March 30, 2024, 03:24:41 AM
Shitcoins that are on Solana blockchain can be bought initially on Jupiter DEX. These coins then generally get listed in big DEX like the one OP has named. Now, the risk here is if the team behind can do a rug pull. If anyone here is okay with the risk then go ahead and buy the shitcoin and wait for the listing. As soon as it happen book profit and wait for the next shitcoin to get launched.

Investing in shitcoin is always a big risk, don't come here to explain us the risk as we all are aware of it. If you had made a profit then you wouldn't have created a topic here. Since you lost your money you are now explaining us how pump and dump works.

423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Predictions? Predict the new ATH! on: March 29, 2024, 09:50:36 AM
Ethereum is still down -26% from its all-time high even though Bitcoin already recovered and already created a new all-time high.

Right now, this is the only reason why I am still not selling some of my Ethereum or taking profits because I do believe, we will reach an all-time high. So, the reward is still higher right now.

I believe this number should be higher now seeing that ethereum dumped from the local top. So it should be around 50% give or take away from the ATH. I'm very confident that Ethereum would reach it's all time high. Since we're in the spirit of speculating ETH price, Blackrock has confirmed that Ethereum ETF is very much possible even if ETH itself is considered a security by the SEC. So that means you'll get your wishes. Let's not forget that Bitcoin created a new all time high because of the hype that came from ETFs and those inflows. If Ethereum gets similar effect, my best guess is a $10K ETH.

No, it is not it is still hovering around the difference of -26%. You can do the math, this is how the calculation is done. ATH= 4878 approximately subtract it from the current price you will then get a price change. To calculate the drop percentage follow this formula - (Price Change / ATH) x 100%. You will get the approximate percentage. Blackrock has confirmed that Ethereum ETF is possible that does not mean that it will happen in one go. Like Bitcoin, the Ethereum ETF will take time to happen and then there should be demand for Ethereum ETF if it is not there then it won't work in favor of Ethereum.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MuskyDoge hidden gem? on: March 29, 2024, 09:33:33 AM
This meme coin is on BSC and I have not seen any meme coin on BSC doing well in the market. It is not even listed on CMC or Coingecko which shows that it does not hold a significant market capitalization. In general meme coins are community driven coins wherein the community pumps and dumps them. In the current market where the narrative of mem coins is working well, I do not see much happening with this one.
425  Local / India / Re: Help me account got freezed by bankura West Bengal cyber cell on: March 29, 2024, 08:10:08 AM
Sorry to see you suffer but you will need to visit the local police station or your bank to find out which police station has placed the freeze on your bank account. In cases like yours such freezes are placed by a different state police and to remove the freeze you will need to visit the P.S. I think the seller in the marketplace might have complained to the local police and placed a freeze on your account. This kind of scam has become quite common in current times and if you have done nothing wrong then do not fear the police.

I also did a small calculation and found out that you exchanged $250 for 91 INR. Doesn't it look odd to you as the current rate of conversion on a P2P marketplace is 89 or less? Your greed for a few extra thousand has got you into this mess and it is very bad that without doing proper research you have now fallen for this scam and become a victim. Another important piece of information is if you do not approach the police they won't come down to your house and arrest you. They will refund the money to the seller after a few days but unless you contact them they won't remove the freeze on your bank account.
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happened to decentralized marketplaces? on: March 29, 2024, 07:51:12 AM
If you are referring to a decentralized marketplace on a blockchain then Opensea is one of the biggest examples. I do not think it will be possible to create a decentralized marketplace like eBay or Amazon. Blockchain can only help the cryptocurrency industry and cannot replace the traditional industries. Although e-commerce giants can use private blockchain to track shipments I do not think there is a need to replace it completely. The biggest issue would be the adoption of such a marketplace when you can buy products from these companies by buying their coupon in a coupon marketplace like Bitrefill.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptex Finance - thoughts? on: March 29, 2024, 07:45:50 AM
If you go back to 2021 when the market was super green at that time the CTX token reached an ATH of more than $40. Take a look at the token price now and you will be able to comprehend that less supply should not be considered a factor to drive the demand. The token is down by 90% which is bad if you compare it with the current market condition. In the last year or so its price has gone up but that percentage is negligible if we compare it with its ATH. I do not think there is any demand for this token and I am not sure why. If you are considering investing in it you would need to first find out why the demand is so low.
428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins or Fiat? on: March 29, 2024, 07:31:20 AM
The volatility of the crypto market only affects those in daily trading, long holders are not affected by the market as they know it will always be profitable in the long run. For traders, stablecoins are the best as they can be exchanged on a crypto exchange, with stablecoins traders can invest in new projects instantly rather than converting fiat to stablecoins. I prefer stablecoins over fiat currency as buying cryptocurrencies using a stablecoin is easier than using fiat. That is the sole reason I always keep some stablecoin in my exchange wallet.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still Worth buying?? on: March 29, 2024, 04:54:40 AM
Solana is constantly pumping because of the airdrop and meme coins within its ecosystem. The demand for SOL is increasing because it acts a fuel to run its ecosystem, similar to what ETH does to Ethereum. I feel that due to the current market trend and the hype of meme coins SOL will see an increase in demand. Few days back I did check how many more meme coins are going to be launched on Solana blockchain and found that there are plenty. I think we might see a big push in Solana price in upcoming days.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if my Metamask wallet was emptied? on: March 29, 2024, 04:05:30 AM
On Etherscan check for recent outgoing transactions. If they show as made in 2022 then you wallet was not emptied recently. Next changes the password of your MetaMask wallet or create a new one if you are interested in doing safe &secure transaction in the future. Ensure that you don't  recieve such email in the future by reporting that mail as span. Always check the social media of such companies for latest update. Don't follow any emails blindly as most of them  tend to be phising emails.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Ethereum's biggest competitor? on: March 28, 2024, 07:16:01 AM
Of course it is BNB. Firstly, both BNB and Ethereum support smart contracts, and when Ethereum started seeming impossible with its fees, it was BNB that took over. Also, transaction speed and cost is another reason why BNB is Ethereum’s biggest competitor. Lastly, Binance has gained huge attention in the past years. It has grown so much and this equally has increased the strength of the BNB token.

BSC is a copy-paste of the Ethereum blockchain and yes it is a big competitor of it. BNB is required to use the Binance smart chain which is why there is a demand for BNB. Another competitor that has emerged recently in the market is the Solana blockchain. A lot of meme coins are now part of the Solana ecosystem which is the reason why everyone is now interested in it. Another benefit of Solana is its cheap fee like Binance smart chain has which is why these two are good competitors of Ethereum now.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best memecoin in 2024 on: March 28, 2024, 07:00:54 AM
Two new meme coins have good potential and a probable Binance listing will happen. SMOG and Dogecoin20 are the two meme coins that are currently getting hype in the market. SMOG is using the Solana blockchain whereas Dogecoin20 is on the Ethereum blockchain, being on the Solana blockchain has many positive perks. Staking Dogecoin20 can give up to 300% p/a which is its USP and that is why a lot of investors are investing in it. If anyone is looking for gaining good profit then they should look into these two meme coins.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Predictions? Predict the new ATH! on: March 28, 2024, 06:26:46 AM
altcoin doesn't necessarily follows the price fluctuation of bitcoin, sometime it can stay still where bitcoin reaching all time high, but rest assured that there will be some point where the altcoin are getting their own momentum its just matter of time.
i don't believe a coin thats on the brink of getting approved of its ETF just gonna tank instead or at least standing still eventually it will have its moment where its reaching as high as all time high and beyond in my opinion.

It doesn't but most of the time it does follow Bitcoin. Ethereum is following Bitcoin in the current market condition. If Bitcoin price goes up the price of ETH follows and does the same when Bitcoin goes down. Before the Duncan upgrade it wasn't doing the same thing as investors were existed about it. Another issue currently ETH is facing is it's high transaction fees which is not creating the demand. I am hopeful that in the next bull run it will break its old ATH.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorites altcoins these days? on: March 28, 2024, 05:57:48 AM
Apart from Bitcoin and Ethereum there are currently a few crypto that I interested. Solana is the first one that looks quiet bullish and after halving in all cases it should break its AHT. BNB is the next as it has been consistent performer in the market. The latest is XAI, it is a new blockchain for gaming and it has been consistently gowing in the upward direction.
435  Local / India / Re: [February 2024 Update] Indian Board activity on Bitcointalk on: March 28, 2024, 05:01:18 AM
snip~~

Board activities are not looking good and it is now evident that the decline has started happening. I will try to be more active here to increase the number of posts as there are a few pieces of information that I think are suited here. The current issue that has been created by the government is one of the main reasons why we are not seeing new members here. All of us still can revive the board by only being active and contributing here.

436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 28, 2024, 04:49:34 AM
I won't blame the bowlers here because the pitch was insanely good to bat on and every batter had a field day. It doesn't help that the longest boundary (Straight) was only 77 meters and square boundaries were around 65-67 meters. The kind of power modern batters have and adding big trees disguised as a bat in equation with an absolute road. IMO it's a perfect recipe for massacre, one can only pray for the bowlers.

This is the second loss for MI and the new captain Hardik Pandya. The pitch was made for batters and I never expected MI to chase 277 runs still they were able to get to 245 runs. At one stage they were matching the asking run rate and they did go above it. I remember it was near about 14 runs per over and they batted well enough. Hardik wasted balls it was expected from him to try and hit the bowlers in the conditions suited for batters. What made the game more interesting was the number of sixes hit in a single T20 game.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling BTC for Alt Coins? on: March 28, 2024, 04:13:38 AM
Around pre bull run of 2017, this is my biggest mistake. Most of my funds are in Bitcoin, I was lured by these random altcoins and I loss most of them. I realized that if I just hold Bitcoin I will not lose too much.
Now, I already know when to hold and when to sell or convert my Bitcoins, it's like already a lesson for me.

You learn from mistakes and yes it is a bad idea to sell Bitcoin for altcoins. Bitcoin has always rebounded back and has always been the force driving the bull market. It is always advised to hold Bitcoin and not to sell it as it is more valuable than any other cryptocurrencies. Still, people forget the facts and invest in coins that won't have any value in the future. I think many members would have learned the value and potential of Bitcoin through this kind of mistake. Thanks for sharing your valuable experience with those who are still new to crypto.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Partisia Blockchain on: March 28, 2024, 03:50:39 AM

I'm guessing this account was specifically made for the advertisement of some coins. Anyways, newly listed coins would always be checked immediately, so thanks for the information though.
The risks in investing in newly listed coins is really high and so is it's return, and that's really nice. As the saying goes, the higher the risk , the higher the return. Anyways, ice again ... Thanks for the information.

It does not matter as the project looks good and it is already listed on some notable exchanges. With the upcoming listing on Mexc and Bitmart, this token should pump and will give a good return on the invested amount. There is always risk involved in any kind of investment but in this case, the token is already trading on exchanges which is why the risk is lesser than those tokens that are not listed on any exchange. According to me, it is a good opportunity to gain some profit from this token.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about BitNasdaq Cryptocurrency Exchange on: March 27, 2024, 08:30:48 AM
Looks as far as what it claims seems to be a very promising exchange. Especially due to its tradingbot and the demo account feature it can take some good hype but the question is that is their platform close to what they have claimed.

I personally have not used the platform so I'm not familiar but their BNC token was not a very good project as it's very volatile and not suitable for investments. So it will be more cleared out once the user gives us the feedback. Any user of the platform who can give us feedback?

It is a brand new exchange and they have a roadmap which you check before your reply. I am not sure whether they have completed thier funding. They are offering features which big exchanges are yet to offer. I would have tried the exchange but saw that they have a mandatory KYC requirement. I am not going to go through KYC on a new exchange. To increase their popularity they should give some demo accounts and start a bounty campaign.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how long do we think memecoins narrative is going to last ? on: March 27, 2024, 07:00:50 AM
Meme coin hype won't diminishes in this season and on the contrary i am seeing that meme coin is evolving in a different way that is totally unique. New meme project is trying to add stories that they are calling a game theories where the community will have a chance to earn reward by choosing different ways in their stories. This is actually unique in concept.

I agree with you that meme coin hype and the narrative that they have set will not fade away easily. Everyone in the industry thought the same about NFTs and now some investors only trade and invest in NFTs they are not interested in altcoins or Bitcoin. I think the same stage is coming for meme coins they already have a dedicated community who are committed to investing in them. Regardless of which blockchain is being used you will find them showing interest in meme coins. This amount of new meme coins that are coming up shows that the developers of these meme coins know what the community is looking for.
