An article worth reading while we wait....

ICNX just went up.  ICONOMI is worth more than it was worth before this announcement.  We all just made money.

This is the beauty of ICONOMI.

I don't doubt that the team is hard at work trying to put a working product together.  But their communication sucks ass.

Agreed and....sigh, agree.

Sigh.  You are starting to convince me that ICONOMI may have some issues they may need to address.
What the hell is wrong with you Mal?

I have an open mind, or at least I try to have an open mind.

And nobody has answered my question yet to identify the country where ICONOMI Inc. is incorporated, and whether or not they have an EU license to accept fiat money in payment for cryptocurrency products, like Cashila does.  In the whitepaper, Cashila was going to be the first service operator for the ICONOMI software platform.  Now it is not, ICONOMI Inc. will be first service operator.  So I would like to know more details about ICONOMI Inc.

Mal, why don't you post your question on reddit?

Good idea.

Now I understood - CryptoInsiders is Melonport's whore

Cryptoinsiders is mentally ill. When you repeatedly say or do the same thing over and over again expecting a different result, that is the definition of insanity. It is sad, really. Also, apparently he is so new to the cryptocurrency scene that he thinks the SEC is a legitimate threat to a foreign-based cryptocurrency entity...

Nope. I don't own any MLN and I don't give a fuck about MelonPort or others.

I'm only interested in exposing Iconomi Devs bait & switch Scam for breaking US SEC laws by advertising & soliciting money from US investors during the ICO, so they can promote ICNX afterwards & block US citizens from using Iconomi after they received their funds.

Sigh.  You are starting to convince me that ICONOMI may have some issues they may need to address.

Can we get an answer to my previous question about where exactly "ICONOMI Inc." is incorporated?
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: February 20, 2017, 07:59:27 PM

"...First, “Cashila” is not the service operator of ICONOMI — ICONOMI Inc. is. Second, ICONOMI Inc. as the first service operator is implementing rigorous security protocols...."

They need to change the whitepaper, which still says Cashila is going to be the service operator.  This is a big change since Cashila is a licensed EU financial services institution and that lent a great deal of credibility to the whole ICONOMI project.

https://ethbuy.iconomi.net/ICONOMI_Whitepaper.pdf

In what country did "ICONOMI, Inc." incorporate?  What's the date of registration and a URL link to the registration?  Do they have any kind of EU financial license to accept and process fiat currency from users that purchase crypto derivative financial instruments like ICNP and ICNX?
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: February 20, 2017, 12:48:23 AM
what was ICO price?

0.1257 USD per ICN.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: February 19, 2017, 08:47:02 PM
Pretty sure we were sold ICN under the pretense that tokens represented 100% ownership of the company. ICN is indeed an unregistered foreign security as far as US standards go.

Wrong and wrong.  ICN tokens represent 100% ownership of the intellectual property of the ICONOMI software platform and all fees which are gathered from its use - NOT ownership in Cashila, which is the registered Slovenian company that is the initial service operator of the ICONOMI platform.

From page 7 of the whitepaper (see https://ethbuy.iconomi.net/ICONOMI_Whitepaper.pdf ) :

"ICONOMI will issue 100 milion ICONOMI tokens (ICN) 10 days after the crowdfunding
campaign successfully ends. 100 % of the ICONOMI tokens represent 100 % ownership
of the ICONOMI platform, comprising of all assets and liabilities, as well as each and every
right and obligation, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, branding and
trademarks."

So...to use an analogy, ICN represents ownership in MS-DOS, not Microsoft.  Or Farmville, not Zynga.

Nowhere did it say ICN are convertible to actual shares of Iconomi Inc, the company that controls all the crypto raised in ico.

Actually, there is no "ICONOMI, Inc."  From Whitepaper page 8:

"Cashila OOD s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as “Cashila”  <https://www.cashila.com/> ) will serve as the first service
operator of the ICONOMI platform. Having at its disposal the required knowledge,
technical skills and manpower, as well as the status of a financial institution and a longstanding
relationship with both the crypto and investment communities, Cashila will
undertake to develop and manage the ICONOMI platform in accordance with the vision
outlined in this white paper and detailed in the accompanying documentation on behalf of
the ICN token holders. Cashila does not and will not claim or register any kind of property,
trademark or other rights pertaining to the ICONOMI platform. All intellectual property
rights, trademarks, branding and other rights remain exclusively the property of the
ICONOMI platform. "

Bottom line: ICN tokens are ownership shares in a piece of software and the money it generates.  ICN is not ownership of any company (especially not Cashila OOD s.r.o. , registration information at  http://rejstrik.penize.cz/03621111-cashila-ood-s-r-o ) , and thus is not a security, unregistered or otherwise.

What was ico price?

The ICO price was 0.1257 USD per ICN.

Current coinmarketcap price is 0.3272 USD per ICN, so the token is currently at 2.6X ICO.

why bitcoin escrow adrs is empty?
BTC Escrow - 3A8TEQ9dNPnJyG3BHyNERPbgZpE5DqvFeY

Wtf man, are you trolling?

The original question is legitimate and definitely not trolling.  ICO donators have a right to know what the ARK team is doing with their donations.  As one of three ARK escrow agents I am responsible for making that information available to the public.

At ARK management request, on Jan 6 Blazed and I together authorized the release of around 167 BTC from ICO (the remainder in the ICO BTC account after requested refunds) to cover ARK team expenses until launch.   At the time of this Jan 6 disbursement, the requested withdrawal was within the "80% of all ICO funds gathered will be held in escrow until launch, up to 20% will be available for pre-launch use" rule ARK had in place with its escrow agents.  (Since then, the value of BTC has gone up and the value of Lisk has gone down).   This withdrawal was made from the escrow-controlled ICO BTC account 3A8TEQ9dNPnJyG3BHyNERPbgZpE5DqvFeY to the ARK-controlled BTC account 356xnT1xFW89d4jSBww7QSiTELnuePLknW.  This withdrawal puts the ARK ICO BTC account balance at zero and so ARK has no further escrowed BTC funds available to them in the future.

The blockchain record for ARK ICO Bitcoins distributed after Jan 6 is available for inspection at https://blockchain.info/address/356xnT1xFW89d4jSBww7QSiTELnuePLknW.  Of the 167 BTC transferred from escrow to this ARK account, around 140 BTC remain.  Details of how the other 27 or so ICO BTC have been used are known only to ARK management, not me.

ARK ICO donations of Lisk after refunds are roughly 4.7M Lisk, currently worth around $650K.  These Lisk funds are still under escrow and no Lisk has been released to ARK control other than requested refunds.  I will not release any of the ICO Lisk until after ARK launch.  However, at ARK team request I have authorized delegates votes made by this Lisk account, and so 14 ARK members are forging Lisk in their own personal accounts (along with 5 pools) using ARK vote support added to their previous support from others.

Note that unlike with the BTC account,  MinerJones and Blazed have no escrow second-signature authority over the Lisk account, only me.  I am not an official member of the ARK team, only an escrow agent for them.

To summarize, ARK has cashed out around 167 BTC and appears to have around 140 BTC remaining worth around $140K under their full control.  ARK also has in escrow about 4.7M Lisk worth around $650K to fund their future efforts.  With no lock-out period and around $800K in available assets, the 125 million ARK coins to be issued should have a "fundamentals value" of 800,000 USD/125,000,000 ARK = 0.0064 USD per ARK at launch on the exchanges.  Lisk funds may be monitored at https://explorer.lisk.io/address/9569486828221897676L.  ARK contract terms with ICO participants may be reviewed at https://ark.io/ARK-TEC-Agreement.pdf.

Lisk price is still 2x from ICO price if we comparing
with fiat money Smiley

At the time of ICO, bitcoin price was around 400$ USD,
and now is 1000$ / BTC

Think.  Lisk has gone up by 2X over 10 months.  Bitcoin has gone up 1000/400 = 2.5X during the same time.  Which cryptocurrency would you rather have held since Lisk ICO?

The reason to support Lisk is the promise of the JavaScript sidechain technology, not the promise of price rise.

From the ARK BCT thread and their Week 7 progress report:

<ARK>TESTNET -  ....Latest reports have testnet screaming along at 5 transactions a second under sustained full load without glitches - AND any forks that popped up under extreme stress testing auto recovered!  Currently we have been stress testing the network since the genesis block and have pushed out over 100,000 transactions in the first 10,000 blocks with very few issues.

Max, Oliver, other Lisk devs - Isn't Lisk currently limited to 25 transactions per 10 second block for a 2.5 transaction per second (tps) limit?  What is the timetable to increase Lisk to ARK's supposed 5 tps, Bitcoin's 7 tps, or eventually to a number beyond these other coins?

Transaction-per-second capability matters.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: February 14, 2017, 11:22:48 AM
if I send lisk to an address that has already voted, do I have to "vote again" to reweight my votes to the higher amount?

No, you do not have to vote again.  Your votes are applied automatically to whatever amount of Lisk you have in your account until you change your votes.
