NWTM is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy (reorganization) and has closed the bullion business but seems to be still minting (I would be hesitant to use them though:) Here are some useful links:

http://about.ag/NWTMint.htm

http://existingbullionorders.com/

It looks like Medalcraft Mint, Inc is buying the dies so if you have done any projects with NWTM that appears to be where your dies will end up.

Wtf... in two months, the top usa crypto grading service (ANACS) goes to shit, as well as the best mint in the usa going bankrupt? FML... Sad

Yeah this is bad news, like krog I'm surprised to see the website still up and running like nothing is happening.
422  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS: PAPERBACK - Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins (Signed #93 / 100) on: February 21, 2018, 08:40:19 PM
I'm listed as one of the 24 people that pre-ordered the book on the acknowledgements page.

Very nice, I'm one of the few pre-order names as well.   Grin

For what it is worth, I can confirm I sent killyou(72?) a mirrored gold highlighted binary round as a prize for competing in our weekly altcoin contest last week in the Bitcoin Enthusiast Slack Group.

Ouch, painful reminder of being the biggest loser by a large margin.   Cheesy

Just so I understand, the hologram came off in the washer/dryer? And you couldn't find the little piece of paper?

No idea, it was just gone when I pulled my jeans out of the dryer.

I've accidentally run something around that size through the wash & dry and when I found the paper it was crumpled in a ball and all color/text was gone.  Completely destroyed and it was a lump of dried paper although it wasn't anything of value, I believe a post it with sharpie written on it.   Cool

In regards to the auction, the piece looks awesome Salty!

Very neat addition to the Collectibles space, may I ask why #31-50 are reserved?

ANACS has also reminded me why I hate USPS Registered Mail.  Takes half a century for a package to go from one coast of the USA to the other.   Angry

I just ran into this a couple weeks ago except the package was only going a short distance.  I was under the impression Registered was a higher level of quality than Priority but I haven't seen it recently.

Here's a picture of my goodies as promised, dare I say the two doodles together are "fishing with dynamite"?   Grin

Payment sent, looking forward to em and thanks again!  Smiley
432  Economy / Goods / Re: 3D printed moon coin! on: February 18, 2018, 11:43:17 PM
Great! I'll send you a PM then Smiley

Seems like you set your account as to not receive private messages from new users.
Can you change the setting or give me another way to contact you? Smiley

Interesting and thanks for the heads up, I've updated my settings and wasn't aware of that.
433  Economy / Goods / Re: 3D printed moon coin! on: February 18, 2018, 01:38:02 AM
Sounds good! let me know how I can send it to you for a test print Smiley
I can also scale it up a bit to make it easier to print?

Yeah seems like my post was moved to digital goods by the mods.

Thanks for your help anyway!

No problem and send me a PM if you'd like some help in getting started.  I should be able to scale up the model on my computer without degradation  Smiley
434  Economy / Goods / Re: 3D printed moon coin! on: February 17, 2018, 11:47:25 PM
I have ordered one already but it takes a bit of time to arrive!
I'll post pictures as soon as I can Smiley

Also you can see the preview of the plastic material on shapeways.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I can print one of these this weekend if you shared the file with me, I'm not sure you'll like the quality though as I'd expect your coin has tiny details which weren't optimized for peoples home 3D printers that go to resolutions ~0.1mm.

Unfortunately I'd say you don't even have one of these in hand and this is just a CAD design (done by you or contracted out?).  It may not even be valid for the collectibles forum since you haven't put a limit on it which makes it more of a "good" since someone could order tons of them to be made/replicated.
435  Economy / Goods / Re: 3D printed moon coin! on: February 17, 2018, 08:12:10 AM
Can you show an example of this actually 3D printed on someones "home" printer in plastic as the pictures are renders/metal?  I'd appreciate it, thanks.
436  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] BeYourOwnBank Coldstorage DIY Silver Coins "Bankers Beware" on: February 16, 2018, 09:33:02 PM
Gentle bump...any update?

I'm guessing no news is....no news.

Thanks,
Dave

Sorry for the lack of updates.. here's the latest though:

NWTM has officially gone bankrupt, the entire workforce was let go except for one or two guys. One of the guy that was let go (Marty) was the guy I've been emailing without getting any replies.

I got some emails for the owner and Trustee yesterday and have sent out emails to them today, looking for any update. It is looking bad right now though. Unless this gets resolved within the next couple of weeks I'll have to start issuing refunds to those who paid up-front. Besides that there's not much I can do, in the end I'll be the loser in this one and there'll be some missing numbers from the first release.

Appreciate the transparency Hhampuz and it's very sad to hear they folded.  I wouldn't expect much to come out of it but I'm glad to see you're putting forward the effort for your customers.

I'm wondering when/if they'll actually put a notice onto their sales sites or if they're still accepting orders that could have future issues.
437  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Interest Check] Custom Designed Satori Coins on: February 16, 2018, 06:47:10 PM

I am heartbroken now by Hampz words + this design.  Well done! I agree with Hampz, you should really pursue having some chips made up.  I hope Satori at the very least changes up the color.  IMO a small change in design would be good for them, their brand, desirability, and long term collector value.  Markets are flooded with orange chips now..change is good.

Thanks for the kind words ChiBitCTy, I really appreciate it.

As I said, I'm pretty unfamiliar with these chips, but thought I would give it a go. I'll have a look into the process of getting some produced if there is interest. Or if anyone would like to assist with the process that would be awesome!

Take care,

-Untold

These chips are pretty cool. I would definitely be interested if you decide to produce some. It seems you would just need to buy the chips and make two really cool holograms, one for each side, and you'd have your coins. I'd be happy to assist if I can.

Agreed, nice work Untold and it'd be cool to see these go further into the production stage.   Grin

Got mine in and awesome doodles/packing tape!  Will be sharing an image of my doodle + the golden penny hopefully this weekend.  Smiley
439  Economy / Collectibles / Re: unfunded/redeemed casascius prices on: February 16, 2018, 04:29:43 PM
Perhaps if they have the keys still with the coins, people are hoping to pickup any unclaimed shitcoins ... ?

I was thinking about that also but it's highly dependent on when the coin was unloaded and if they claimed the forks available when they redeemed.  I would think most redeem the forks but exceptions remain.
440  Economy / Collectibles / Re: unfunded/redeemed casascius prices on: February 16, 2018, 04:06:18 AM
I honestly don't value them that high but each collector can value their own pieces at whatever they'd like.  For me, maybe around $50-100 each and a bit more if in completely pristine condition.
