Not, It's different, you work on some task and you get Bitcoins.
424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [EARN, EASY, NO MORE THAN 3 MINUTES!] Easy BTC for you [0.04 BTC every time] on: May 15, 2012, 03:40:07 PM
Lost of time, if It works, it is too much work for almost $0.2 (or 0.16€).

I have clicked on [REGULAR DOWNLOAD] button, and It just doesn't work.
425  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Project Development] CoinWorker.com - earn bitcoin in your browser in minutes on: May 07, 2012, 11:47:10 PM
Most of the task works very well, but I have found a small bug.

There is a work where the user must first the first result of a Google search (for example a Lyric).

There is a problem: Google sometimes doesn't show the same results with the same query. If You find the same query in different countries, Google will show You different lists. This is a problem with the trap-questions, which doesn't have in account this detail.

428  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: puedo usar bitcoin? (novato) on: May 01, 2012, 02:17:50 AM
429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin isn't green on: March 28, 2012, 02:32:53 AM
Bitcoin needs mining. Mining costs a whole lot of electricity. Electricity still mostly comes from fossil fuels.

Ergo, bitcoin isn't green.

Any thoughts about this?
I think that everything is not green if We don't have green electricity.

Windpower and solar energy are becoming cheaper, and in a few years We will have more green energy.
Hydropower is another interesting energy, because there are lots of small sources that could be used without a expensive cost, there are lots of small dams on rivers or canals that are wasting energy.

A small example:
http://maps.google.es/?ll=41.958597,-4.977837&spn=0.034083,0.055189&t=h&z=14&layer=c&cbll=41.958493,-4.977831&panoid=bCr2PMWPCqJ_QGsOIu_Gwg&cbp=12,65.15,,0,-2.59
 - Power line: yes
 - Dam: yes
 - Water: yes
 - Electricity: NOT. Embarrassed

How can I catch my current points of one specified address? I have worked sooo many tasks these days, but no btcs received
You need at least 200 points.

This is because I think that every week (or two weeks, or a month) It should be a general payout to all users who earned less than 200 points in that week.
The transaction fees would be very small.
431  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Project Development] CoinWorker.com - earn bitcoin in your browser in minutes on: March 19, 2012, 04:26:13 AM
There are task which works very well like "Decide the Best Category for Events!" or "Flag images that contain adult content".

IMHO, eBay should reconsider the test questions, because there are more images that should accept two valid answers.

Test questions are to discard users who make random clicks or doesn't pay enough attention on images, not to test if user can guess if a "medium size" text was big or small, or some tinny letters count as "product test" or not.
432  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make more bitcoins? on: March 19, 2012, 02:01:49 AM
yo guys, I got bitcoins!

I want more! Is there any way to get more!?!?

Sorry for newbie question. Just wondering!

 Thanks!
This service pays You if You do some tasks, but sometimes, the task available are not interesting:
http://coinworker.com/

Identify Simple Text in Product Images (Contains objectionable adult content) ---> Don't trust this task, lots of traps and ambiguous images.

But sometimes, there are interesting tasks.
433  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Project Development] CoinWorker.com - earn bitcoin in your browser in minutes on: March 19, 2012, 01:59:21 AM
What happens If I have less than 200 points and I can't work more because one task is finished, and the other task is the "text images sh*t", which doesn't allow to work?

It would be interesting to pay these pints if some accounts doesn't have activity in two weeks.
434  Local / Español (Spanish) / CoinWorker: algunos consejos on: March 16, 2012, 04:04:17 AM

For a given Search Query, how relevant are the shown items?

435  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Project Development] CoinWorker.com - earn bitcoin in your browser in minutes on: March 16, 2012, 01:12:54 AM
Ok, I wont publish more images like them.

But I published only these problematic images. I think that they could block other users. Of course, I wont publish clear images that users should identify.

Also, maybe at start is difficult to test if some searches are relevant or not. For example, I have learned that a VHS tape with a different content (movie, series...) that specified in query, should be rated as "not a match" (instead of offtopic) if the query search for a VHS product.

Some advice to tag ambiguous images (I post the correct answers).
I hope that I can help you to avoid these "traps".
Maybe, we could try to create a collection of "traps", and help new users to avoid them.

If You find a trap, You can post It here. If You use Firefox, You can click on the "favicon" ( placed at the URL bar), click in "more info" and click in "media". Now, scroll the list until the ambiguous image appears. Copy their URL and place it here between IMG tags.

Product text:
---> Product?, a service logo? I don't know what It is. Angry I marked "large text", because It is red and big.

Small text:

No text:
---> These phones have text over them!!! Angry Angry
---> I can read Nintendo 64. Angry

Small text or no text:
---> It looks like a book title! Angry
437  Economy / Micro Earnings / I'm feeling scammed on: March 15, 2012, 03:13:47 AM
I have changed my opinion.

There are some problematic tasks, but other tasks works very well and I have earned some money.
I'm happy with this service. Smiley
Is not much money, but.. there are cheap Bitcoin services that I could purchase with these coins.

IMHO this service is just a scam.
I recommend You to avoid this lost of time.

I have tried to identify it a image has a large text:

There is a watermark made by camera and I have marked "This image has small text and watermarks overlayed on the image".

But It says that the correct answer was "This image has no text obstructing or over the image".

The reason for this is: "This image does not contain any text, and should be scored "No Text". If this is confusing please review the instructions and example images or reply with feedback. Thank you."

Thank you? This was ironic?

I can't do more work on this task. Angry

I don't say what I think about your service, because I could break the forum rules. Good bye. Angry
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Wallet, also a miner? on: March 13, 2012, 03:39:50 PM
Or simply use p2pool. Eligius?  Roll Eyes

I've seen pictures of old versions of the bitcoin wallet and it appears to have a "generate coins" option, why is this option no longer around?
It was a CPU miner. Useless, mining bitcoin with CPU is simply a waste of time and power.

Quote
current miners suck, i can't get any to work on my pc
More like you suck, miners work perfectly.
It was a suggestion. I think that Eligius is very simple mining pool.
439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Wallet, also a miner? on: March 13, 2012, 11:36:51 AM
Also, Eligius is a mining pool that doesn't need registration, just a valid Bitcoin address.
440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do bitcoin deal with "lost" coins on: March 12, 2012, 01:10:57 AM
There are a finite amount of bitcoins, so what happens when someone "loses" there coins. I mean due to hard drive failure and so on. This is not often but over time this means coins are lost for ever??
Keep some backups of your wallet file and remember the password if It is encrypted.
