Investing in cryptocoins or tokens is highly speculative and the market is largely unregulated. Anyone considering it should be prepared to lose their entire investment.

How fucking stupid is that?  Anyone investing in crypto should prepare to gain 10X their entire investment.  This would be a much better way to prepare as it is far more likely to happen than a loss of entire investment.  WTF is wrong with journalists today?
I think this is the work of some bitcoin haters or that journalists could be that one of the bitcoin haters because in my point there is no investment better than crypto currency. I have felt myself the real potential of bitcoin and other crypto currencies that has helped me a lot to gain and has made me self dependent for various small expenses that I can bear by my own. Being a student this is more than enough for me and seriously I strongly believe in bitcoin and would like to suggest others also to use it.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 countries that banned bitcoin on: June 06, 2018, 01:25:25 PM
COUNTRIES THAT BANNED BITCOIN

Before we start to our topic this I want to tell that some of you might know about this but I just wanna share this to those who are not.

Several people believe that bitcoin was a blessing and it was an opportunity
for everyone but not everyone shares the sentiment. From central banks and other finance company, Bitcoin's list of detractors runs for a very long time and gone so deep. But most of the government around the world seeks for the regulation of bitcoin.

Be due to fear, ignorance and protectionism, governments have a tendency to legislate against perceived threats.Countries such as japan protects its citizens to have free trade of the digital currency. But unfortunately not all countries embracing the change of our technology. In some cases citizens have had their assets seized, accounts got frozen and have been locked up, Government can't stop the blockchain from propagating, but they can stop their people in having access to it.

STOP THE BITCOIN!!

Like banning drugs, alcohol and other stuffs banning bitcoin sounds nonsensical and unforceable. That's the exact case in five countries:

1.Bangladesh
2.Bolivia
3.Ecuador
4.Kyrgyzstan
5.Nepal

It was recently reported in https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-illegal-in-nepal-police-arrest-seven-individuals-for-trading-operations/
that there were dozens of bitcoin and crypto enthusiasts get imprison seemingly guilty of little more than operating a small-scale bitcoin exchange.

Meanwhile Ecuador has outlawed bitcoin, nit because they opposed this crypto but because they want to regulate and control it and tether it with the Ecuadorian dollar. An Electronic money designed to operate ad support monetary scheme dollarization.Completing the naughty list of countries that have banned bitcoin is Kyrgyzstan, a tiny landlocked state in Central Asia,
And Bangladesh banned bitcoin, it was 2014 where Bangladesh bank stated that anyone that will be caught using such online currency could be jailed mostly because it's about "MONEY LAUNDERING".

this was already an old news for updated list

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country_or_territory

so what do you think? will your country will ban the use of bitcoin?
do you know other countries that ban the bitcoins?
Please share it and tell to everyone Smiley
I am the kind of person who thinks bitcoin is a boon and blessing for the mankind and is a fortune for the humanity. There are few countries who has understood well this nature of bitcoin and has legalised crypto currencies in their nation and knows well that introduction of bitcoin can boost the development of country, reduce poverty and provides employment like South Korea, Florida etc but there are still many countries that are completely against of bitcoin and consider bitcoin and other crypto currencies as a fraud.
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't Warren Buffett invest in Bitcoin? on: June 06, 2018, 01:11:36 PM
To the surprise of nobody, Warren Buffett isn’t interested in Bitcoin at all.
Warren’s strategy is to have an adequate but consistent return over a long period of time.
The key is that he knows he will be rich someday, but he is not in a hurry.
In cryptocurrency world, it is not possible to make a position and forget it for x number of years. Hence, it does not fit Warren’s style.
So what is your opinion?
Everyone has its own way of minting money. Some earns it by very hard work and gets a very little money in return and some earns millions by just sitting in their cabins. The only difference is those in cabins invest money wisely. Bitcoin is that kind of investment where you can get very good profit in very short span of time and on the other hand investing into other investment is for long term, so everyone has its own monopoly of earning money but I just wants to advise Warren Buffet that he should invest in bitcoin for once.

I find bitcoin to be very reliable and very good way of earning money in very short span of time and according to Warren Buffet who is known to be a very popular business of the world, bitcoin is not his way of earning profit because he trust in some long term profit but I find bitcoin to be very good because in my opinion it is the best way to become self dependent by your own.

I don’t think that this is very much big issue to be worried about because in my opinion I don’t that bitcoin takes that much of electricity that is hyperbole in the post . Bitcoin only uses internet for its operating and there is nothing to worry about this that it will create electricity problem in the future and to be that much that it will consumes more electricity than the entire world consumes right now, I think this is the work of bitcoin haters who does not want bitcoin to be legalised world wide.
426  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is bitfenex a scam on: June 02, 2018, 06:17:33 AM
I have heard some bad things about bitfenex are they a scam and has anyone signed up and had issues?
I am a part of bitcoin by working on a survey campaign on which a write for them and get payment and I am not sure whether bitfinance is scam or not because I never used it but I heard about it from the people that the problem that people are facing with bitfinance and other exchanges also that they are not transparent. Other exchanges are also giving problems like high transaction fee, not being transparent and even exploiting customers rights.

Hello guys, what is your theory regarding Bitcoin Futures. Some say Bitcoin will dip, some say will double. What say you? What's your theory? Smiley
According to my theory bitcoin is that superstar of crypto currency world who will never flop , a bubble which will never burst, a currency which will bring revolutionary change in the world of economics and monetary systems. According to me bitcoin will never going to dip , I have very large faith of mine in bitcoin and according to my theory in future bitcoin not only will double but will be declared as a central currency world wide and will be legalised world wide and each and every person will use for every transaction
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest decisions you ever made for bitcoin? on: May 31, 2018, 01:48:11 PM
There is one Dutch Family Goes All In on Bitcoin by Selling Business and Property to Invest. Would you think this decision is right or not ? And why

What are those big decisions that you ever made for bitcoin?<br>

See below article;

https://bitconnect.co/bitcoin-news/776/dutch-family-goes-all-in-on-bitcoin-sells-business-and-property-to-invest/

The first thing comes in my mind when I red the article is an insane decision, but after few minutes my mind start to ponder and recall how many succesful people risk everything just to try their luck in order for them to become sucessful today.

Share your thoughts please ,need some encouragements to make big decisions also for bitcoin.
Obviously this is very insane decision because you can never justify this thing that you are selling your every thing to just invest in bitcoin. No doubt bitcoin is very volatile and sustainable crypto currency and it will gives you profit with very great interest to that amount you have invested in but for the present time when bitcoin is not legalised every where this is completely insane to sell your everything to just invest into bitcoin because because for now bitcoin could be only part time work.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Cryptocurrency Market Is Falling on: May 31, 2018, 01:25:24 PM

Cryptocurrencies Are Caught in a Correction[/b][/center]

The cryptocurrency market is falling, which was completely contrary to the price action that characterized all of last year

Can anyone guide me??

I came across here...

  https://www.profitconfidential.com/cryptocurrency/ripple/xrp-price-prediction-interest-rates-playing-havoc-capital-markets/?utm_source=rp.bitcointalk&utm_medium=referral
I think this is all because of increasing numbers of bitcoin haters that keeps on demotivating other people also to not to invest into bitcoin and bitcoin haters are increasing because of neglectance of governments of many countries regarding bitcoin that they are completely against of bitcoin and also demotivating people of their countries not to use bitcoin and this could be the most probable reason why people are not investing into bitcoin and thus in turn the valuation is deflating and the market of bitcoin is falling.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese government banned all of ICOs on: May 31, 2018, 01:02:55 PM
https://www.sosobtc.com/article/23790.html

Chinese government recognized all of ICOs are illegal, all of related platforms must stop offering services for ICO projects,it seems that is just a start, the regulation of ctyptocurrency is on the way.
Some ICOs refund to their investors already, but this event has an effect on cryptocurrencies including bitcoin, the prices droped seriously.
How do you think of that? Good or bad?

Though it is a bad news that the valuation has deflated to a very serious value but rather I would like to take it as good news because the legalisation of bitcoin and other crypto currencies has been started. We all know the bitcoin is very volatile and very helpful crypto currency and has always proved its potential to be very great but for its world wide use , it need to be legalised every where first then only everyone can use bitcoin in future freely. So for me it’s very good news for bitcoin that the bitcoin era has been started
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In Germany, bitcoin was recognized as legal tender on: May 31, 2018, 12:47:36 PM

51
The Federal Ministry of Finance of Germany stated that purchases for bitcoins will not be taxed, since the crypto currency is a legitimate means of payment.

The Office published its decision on February 27. In the document, the regulator refers to the European Court's ruling of 2015, which sets a precedent for all EU member states.

The court ruling says that crypto-currencies are considered a legitimate means of payment and that therefore the transactions for the payment of goods and services with their help should not be taxed:

"So-called virtual currencies (crypto-currencies such as bitcoin) are considered equal to legal means of payment if these so-called virtual currencies have been accepted as alternative and contractual means of payment by the parties involved in the transaction and have no other purpose than to use as a method payment ».

Conversion of crypto-currencies to fiat and vice versa in the decision of the European Court is classified as "other taxable services". Thus, the party that acts as an intermediary in this exchange will not be taxed. It follows that the operators of crypto-exchange exchanges can receive exemption from taxes "if they complete the purchase and sale of bitcoin as an intermediary on their behalf".

Commissions to miners should also not be taxed, since they are paid on a voluntary basis.

We note that earlier this year the head of the Bundesbank Joachim Wuermeling (Joachim Wuermeling) said that the regulation of crypto-currency should be carried out on a global scale. And the head of the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi, believes that the ECB does not have such authority at all.

Currently, the European Commission is preparing an action plan to prevent financial crimes using crypto currency.

This is very very good news and now I am even more happy that more and more countries are now wants to be the part of bitcoin and they have also understood well that there is no harm in legalisation of bitcoin it will always help countries development and GDP and that why more and more countries are legalising bitcoin in their nation. Bitcoin is very sustainable crypto currency and it will persists for coming many decades and I think other countries should need to understand this fact and bitcoin should be legalised world wide.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: May 30, 2018, 08:23:22 AM
And it will remain so for a long time.
No government, no parties can effectively ban it and put their hand on it. They would have to ban internet first. Not likely.
That would be the end of free world we know.
No government or no country can ban bitcoin globally. Bitcoin is self governing crypto currency and every country can ban bitcoin from their nation only , no country can ban its international use so person can own bitcoin in any nation but cannot use domestic exchanges for transactions but I don’t think this is the biggest advantage because of lack of authentic governing body the illegal use of bitcoin has been increasing day by day and for stopping this bitcoin needs to be legalised world wide.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Evolution of currencies on: May 30, 2018, 08:05:16 AM
First, humans exchanged commodities. You could eat it, burn it for energy, modify it to create tools or jewelry. You exchanged something useful for something useful.

* It was energy.

Then, humans exchanged commodities for gold. You couldn't eat it or burn but it was still possible to modify it.

* It was poor energy.

Then, humans used papers checks or bank notes. It wasn't very useful, but you still could burn it during a very cold winter.

* It was very poor energy.

Now, we wants to use Cryptocurrencies. You can't do anything with it.

* It is not energy but proof of destruction of energy.

Something looks wrong. We should exchange potential energy, not destroyed energy.
From the ancient times, nothing is free, you have to pay something then only you will get something in return, this is the very common rule from the very ancient times but the mode of payment and the evolution of currencies has been occurred and in this flow of energy has been decreased and in today’s mode of payment the follow of energy is just ended. Earlier people use barter system where they exchange goods in exchange of goods then comes the exchange of gold and now money is given in exchange of goods and I think in future bitcoin will be exchanged.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is soaring? on: May 30, 2018, 07:49:38 AM
Hi guys,
Just came  back from posting in bitcointalk.org, was wondering why Bitcoins price suddenly skyrockted ?
Thanks in advance for the answer...
The valuation of bitcoin is quite unpredictable. You exactly can’t predict what will be the valuation of bitcoin next day and the same is happening, when everyone is just criticising the bitcoin for having such a low valuation by saying that the party is over, go back to your homes and find some work that they are the fools because I don’t think that this party could ever be over , party can be pause for a while but cannot be over and I guess party has started again and valuation started inflating again.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Festival - Pizza Day on: May 30, 2018, 06:23:00 AM
I would love to eat that pizza if I could buy that pizza in exchange of bitcoin. Though bitcoin is not that in use for transactions purposes that people everywhere for there day to day activities use bitcoin but I am eagerly waiting for that day when with my important transactions I could buy a pizza also with my bitcoin, though its like a dream because I think it will take a decade or more to make this happen but I would love to eat the pizza with bitcoin if this ever could be possible.
437  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Release the hounds : 45.8 BTC stolen - electrum-wallet.com CRIMINAL sticky pls on: May 30, 2018, 05:36:13 AM
If you can, please make this a sticky , people NEED to be warned and i need to find someone to recover 150kusd and get 75kusd for it (Relative to current BTC + BCH prices )

I got robbed of 45.8 BTC (and BCH so total = 150000$) after installing the executable from electrum-wallet.com.

I was running multisig but both on the same PC. First i ran the portable electrum.exe from  electrum-wallet.com but when it did not load my wallets *NOTE : the ones that had BTC in them ,it loaded just fine any other wallet ) - I don't want to hear opinions on my stupidity

After it didn't work i downloaded last version of electrum from electrum.org

I'm wondering how the F is it possible that after 2 years of this thread no one has taken down and/or announced the US. authorities fbi etc about it.

I'm in Romania and have no wish to deal with this legally, which will probably get me nowhere.

I  am willing to split the rights on the BTC with whoever is capable of recovering them via detective+legal means.

This is the transaction : https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/78d44db46445d3097996fc644c1221eeead31added5c35cf1b7938737e3b49db

As i said , I don't want to hear opinions on my stupidity, this is mostly a warning and hopefully a way for someone to make a healthy 75000$.
This is such a huge amount of bitcoin that has been stolen from your walking I mean 45.8 is such a huge amount to think and if truely speaking I haven’t seen such a huge amount together. 45.8 bitcoin in INR is worth to approx 2.41 crore, it is such a huge amount and I don’t think that this amount could ever be recovered and if in your country the bitcoin is not legalised then it is like next to impossible to recover the amount because in this case you even can’t do police complaint.

I feel yes that bitcoin has that potential to be very great and I strongly feel that bitcoin has that potential that it will bring some revolutionary change in the world of economy. Bitcoin is very sustainable crypto currency. Though bitcoin has been going through many ups and downs during last 4 months and many governments are also demotivating people not to use crypto currency but now the things started improving again and bitcoin is again getting back on its track and one day will be declared as a central currency world wide.

45.8 BTC is such a huge amount, like for me I haven’t see such a big amount together so it is such a huge amount that has been stolen from the electrum wallet. Inspite having millions of advantages this only bad thing of bitcoin made bitcoin critise all over the world , due to all this hacking and other illegal use, people fear of investing into bitcoin that they could not be the prey of such case , all these activities and scam needs to be regulated as soon as possible if we want to seen our currency in the form of bitcoin world wide.
440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: May 29, 2018, 05:00:31 PM
One of the best features of Bitcoin is it's anonymity. This is also one of the reason why countries are banning or at least hesitant to embrace the technology. From money laundering to illegal drug transactions to human trafficking. We always blame the FUD from mainstream media, financial institutions like banks, the government etal. But do you think, the one that would "kill" Bitcoin is actually the nature of it.

Here's another news where Bitcoin was being used in an illegal activity. This will raise a lot of eyebrows because it concerns our children.

http://www.news.com.au/finance/money/investing/bitcoin-could-become-illegal-after-its-blockchain-was-discovered-containing-child-abuse/news-story/bf486e6e8de453fd7ad2abba019952dd
I think it’s not the fault of bitcoin. Though bitcoin is a boon for the humanity and every time it has proved its potential to everyone by providing employment to millions of people and reducing poverty to a very great extent but every investment has its pros and cons. Inspite of having millions  of advantages bitcoin is often related with some sort of illegal activities also but it’s not the fault of bitcoin but it’s the user who decides the use of bitcoin so if we want to stop the illegal use of bitcoin then we have to stop the illegal users.
