421  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 700 TH/s or 8.68 GH/s per share on: April 04, 2014, 01:44:17 PM
You guys sure we're at 210 TH/s? The average hashrate based on a 1h interval looks about the same as our hashrate on Eligius (170-175 range).

EDIT: Yeah, now they match.

Maybe it was just fluctuation.
422  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 700 TH/s or 8.68 GH/s per share on: April 04, 2014, 01:30:07 PM
He's just cleaning up the thread, don't take it personally. There's a separate speculation thread if we need to get wacky.

And that 210TH/s sure is delicious!

Holy cow! I hadn't checked on the old GB thread in a while, and I completely missed this transformation into SmartHashing -- a great project, congratulations CH!
424  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 03, 2014, 05:46:35 PM
Garr, What about Goats communication with Ravi? Did you recieve a total of ~38TH of cointerraminers already and failed to mention it? Thats too much man, just too much...

also, who are paying electricity for the hashfast units?

And were trading again btw...

Nope, the entirety of the hardware is online right now, and I have been paying for electricity for all the units, my own included, since the beginning.

I believe many people on this board are highly misinformed, and that keeps building upon itself to the point where people are making wild accusations which are not productive in any way.

I will always be available to support productive discussion, because that's what this thread is really here for.

Ok, but what's the explanation of absence of the contractually-promised 38TH/s from Cointerra? Are they still to-be-delivered, or was that contract renegotiated, or what?

They are still to be delivered.

Thanks.
425  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: April 03, 2014, 05:44:41 PM

Also, all the units I have are online and mining for the 1cog address, and goat knows it according to that receipt.
I am forced to believe he is trying to stir things up.

How many units do you have? Only like listed on the website?

Also I never said anything about 38TH/s, I don't know where that number came from.

My apologies, it was 28TH/s, not 38:
Additionally,

Thursday of this week I will be in Washington to finalize setup at the new facility. Then, the remainder of the CoinTerra rigs will be delivered and we will be hashing at our full promised capacity of 28th/s + whatever lateness compensation comes out to be.

Cheers,
Garrett

There was talk about 38TH/s guaranteed from Cointerra. What's the status of that these days?

Garr has all the units. Ravi sent me the shipping list.

How many units is that, and where are they?

429  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 8x stack of Bitburner Fury boards, heatsinks, fans, 1000W EVGA Gold PSU on: April 03, 2014, 12:52:32 AM
ADDENDUM:

Escrow is accepted and there is a price reserve threshold, which I will announce here if it met. Willing to part out as well. Thanks.

I missed the part about the secret reserve price. Just start the auction there, please. At this point, it's unfair to hold a secret reserve price over our heads, since you've already changed the end time twice.
430  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTF] 8x stack of Bitburner Fury boards, heatsinks, fans and hardware incl. on: April 03, 2014, 12:33:24 AM
I cancelled the auction because I incorrectly stated the power supply that I was selling and omitted the shipping terms. I have clarified this in the new thread. I am not trying to screw anyone over here.

I don't think you are trying to screw anyone. I think you are a good guy. But you've changed the end time of the auction twice, which makes it essentially impossible, as a bidder, to bid on it. Your auction is complicated -- good boards, dead boards, crippled boards -- but we're all willing to consider what a fair price is. We can't do that, though, if you keep moving the goal posts.
431  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 8x stack of Bitburner Fury boards, heatsinks, fans, 1000W EVGA Gold PSU on: April 03, 2014, 12:30:07 AM
2 ant s1's can be had under 1.78 for 360-400+ gh/s no issues or bs. So if 4 work flawless and achieve ant speeds then this lot is worth at most the price of one ant. Noone will buy used hardware at full/max price and then the broken hardware isnt worth much because who knows what happened or what was attempted. I was watching the auction to bid and saw the shit hit the fan and walked away.
+1

Bullshit. Your previous auction only got to .5BTC, which you cancelled because there were no shipping terms (after already extending the  end date once -- it was supposed to end today at noon), only to announce here that international buyers pay all shipping -- certainly you could have simply announced that in the previous thread. You're just stalling to get more BTC for your broken boards, which I certainly understand, but it's unfair to bidders.

Essentially, you've already changed the end date twice.

It seem this is an auction where the seller won't sell until he's assured of the price he wants well in advance of auction close. As long as we're clear on that, no worries.
433  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTF] 8x stack of Bitburner Fury boards, heatsinks, fans and hardware incl. on: April 02, 2014, 09:55:06 PM
This guy is just terrible at auctions. He originally posted this auction in multiple places instead of just linking to it. Then he cancels this one to alter the terms instead of just answering shipping questions. Wow.

He already changed the end date once. Now he's cancelling it because shipping terms weren't specified by him, instead of just specifying them. Presumably the real reason for cancelling is because the auction wasn't yet yielding high-enough prices for the set of 4-broken-plus-4-mostly-working boards, but the thing is, lots of bids come in toward the end -- tomorrow. I would have bid, certainly.

In an auction, both buyer and seller hope they're going to get a good deal, and the process of the auction decides where along that spectrum the results fall. I hate it when people cancel auctions for spurious reasons -- don't set up the auction if you are not willing to follow it through.

I don't really want to wade into this, but --  resuming trading on Havelock is good, as it gives people more options, if nothing else.
435  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTF] 8x stack of Bitburner Fury boards, heatsinks, fans and hardware incl. on: April 02, 2014, 07:58:46 PM
I will have to close this auction early and revamp it with more specifics. My apologies, I did not remember to include international bidders and realized shipment might end up being more expensive if it is outside of the US.

I will be posting more auctions this week. Can a mod close/delete this thread? Thank you.

That's very disappointing. I imagine we'd all rather have you clarify international shipping terms than cancel the auction outright.

so. heres what i think's gonna happen. CryptX isn't going to post a dividend until we can match last weeks, so don't expect it anywhere near the usual 3PM time, but we should still have a dividend increase. while this looks great to potential investors, it is still really concerning, if we can't/only barely keep up with the difficulty now, then i have no faith that we will be able to keep up with it in a month or two. an update would be nice, we haven't had one in a few weeks, the last one said we would receive a new delivery schedule but we have heard nothing. as someone who has put allot of personal funds into this project im really starting to worry.

We haven't even reached the trying-to-keep-up-with-difficulty phase. We're still in the waiting-for-massive-initial-deployment phase. If you want to worry about that, then fine, but let's at least worry about things in the proper order.
