Wow! I was just reading all the posts here that I missed the last two days.
To Everyone In This Thread
Thank you all so much for the support. We knew we had a great idea. Personally, I was expecting a lot more naysayers. This is BTCT for crying out loud. Where are all my skeptics? lol. Seriously though, you have all been great and have been giving the team motivation to push through the long hours. We are building something great. It may seem simple at the base level, but I ensure you that mountains will be moved because of our efforts.

A few quick updates:

A week and a half ago I said that we were aiming for April 28th to begin our sale. I also said that was a wild guess that I came up with when I was filling out the forms for ICO calendar sites. They require that field have a date. I went with that date on all the forms I filled.  Huh So.... I was wrong. We are ready as far as our Smart-Contract goes. We need to be a little bit farther along with development though. Also, being in licensed LLC in the USA has it's challenges as far as compliance goes. But not at all impossible though.

I have more updates but I gotta run right now. I'll be back in the next two hours to finish this update. No exact date yet. We have to do this right and not rush into anything.

How it works for LLCs? They are also banned in the US regarding token sales? And I didn't understand yet why they label every ICO as a security, can you explain this to me?

I could only try to explain this complicated matter. But seeing as how our own government can not properly explain it, I don't think I will have much better luck. Mostly, this entire debate, no matter where it is taking place, is full of opinion and speculation. Not all tokens are securities. There are basic guidelines as to what makes a token a security.

The now Famous Howie Test is one such way to vaguely try and label a token a non-security. Another popular method I've been seeing for several months now..... I do not recommend this, by the way, I just find it rather hilarious..... Is when a company thinks that they can disguise their security token with clever verbiage and a list of "no-no" words that the staff and community managers must avoid at all costs. This route will come back to bite them in the ass later. lol.

We have a token that is consumable via our platform. We will also sell tokens from our platform after the ICO from our reserve pool that we have allocated exactly for this purpose. The price of our post ICO token will be $0.30, 10X more than the highest ICO price. This will make our reserve pool last much longer than if we sold them for $0.03. The reserve pool token sales is a necessary feature we have chosen to include to bring in all the parents and teachers that have no idea what an ICO or crypto is but really want to try our awesome platform because all the other parents, teachers and kids are using it.

Our in platform token sales, at first, will have to be USD purchased only. This is because if we allow for multiple cryptocurrencies this lands us in the exchange category. We wouldn't mind filing for whatever licensing we need to legally be able to exchange on our platform. For now, though, we have our hands full and must focus on development.

Luckily we are in talks with an exchange that is based out of Australia and they love our project and have offered to handle crypto:URA sales for us. More details to come on that.

800000 Usd is a good number for start, thinking that they raised this in the bear market,

but sadly, lack of communication from dev team is still existing. Hopefully they'll show some attention to here.

Maybe the team is super busy right now, I guess we should try to contact them thru other communication channels such as telegram and emails to address our concerns.
Telegram should be the best option for now, they have a community manager there, so the response/answer will be quick there.

There is something you guys got to realize. This may be hard to believe but a lot of these companies that are doing ICOs were not really regular BTCT daily visitors. Some never even knew this forum existed until someone told them about ICO money and that they had to post here. It bugs me too that some companies just drop an Ann thread here and don't bother to stick around to be part of the thread created. It is what it is though. I think someone from the community that is in here daily and believes in this project should step up and make themselves community manager.

How is the sale coming along? We're entering the last few weeks. I the May 15th end date still accurate? I've noticed a lot of ICOs recently just decide to extend the ICO on the last day.

Isn't Singapore kind of a rough choice for crypto companies? Or Is that only for Singapore residents that want to buy into an ICO?

Whether or not the team here has a lack of communicating with the community, I'm still supporting them because the idea is good. Any time there is the ability to make forward progress in healthcare, I'm all for it. Hopefully all this disruption in the healthcare industry will trickle down into America where the system is so focused on their greedy bottom line that they dont give a shit about the people that they are supposed to be helping.

Congratulations for it. Drake certainly comes to add a lot of value and knowledge to URAllowance, there are people out there who have made a name for their expertise, but have targeted only their immediate gains. Having Drake next to your project will surely take you along, knowledge for continued progress, beyond, of course, a familiar face to cryptography

Absolutely! His experience is the main reason that we chose him. That, and of course, his direct connections with huge investor circles and family offices. That's where the money is but also. that's where mass crypto acceptance gets a big boost from the families that control the economy.

This question might sound a bit dumb, but is there already a starting date for the presale / ICO announced?

We were aiming for the 28th but that was a wild guess. Our smart contract is ready and could be deployed right now if we needed to. There are just a few more things we should have in place first though. For instance, we are waiting for a few rating sites to give us our ratings and list us on their calendars. Gotta get the word out before we start.

How is this project going? I haven't heard much buzz about it. I have had the app for some time now and I must say.... It is annoying. I hope that after the ICO the devs do a major overhaul. The whole thing is one major spam fest. I don't think there is one actual conversation happening on the damned thing. It's basically turned into a referral machine or fraudulent offer epicenter. Please consider wiping the whole user database and starting over. Like a social media rapture.

Piracy is a real problem and CryptoFlix intends to find a solution. More info about the ICO here ➡️ https://cryptoflix.io

Yes piracy is one of the main targets of Cryptoflix but dont forget to mention that cryptoflix system will provide good stream quality even in low speed internet.

Is piracy really a problem? I mean the kind of piracy that involves people watching a few movies without paying ridiculous fees. I don't care what anyone tells you. I've been to Hollywood Hills and seen Bel-Aire too. The movie industry is not suffering because of file sharing. I love this project and I understand that being appealing to the eyes of large investors is key to bringing it some large whales. Just wish they didn't have to lean so hard on the anti-piracy angle. I fully support file sharing.

Heck Yeah! Three exchanges listed this early on in the process. I'm glad I jumped in and began to support this project at such an early stage. I have shared my concerns about the KYC process and the currently targeted demographic and how the two don't really jive well together. Other than that, I'd say this project is moving along just fine.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EHF eHealth First on: April 22, 2018, 08:07:38 AM
Yes. eHealth. i have to agree with the common consensus here. You should hire a community manager to help with fielding the questions you are getting here. Or, take one hour a week to sit down and go through and answer all the questions here. Just do it one at a time and skip the repeats. When you have a BTCT thread for your project, the purpose is to communicate with the community. It's not supposed to be used as an advertisement space.

That's right. He is already providing value to our project. With his advisory comes an entire team of professionals that have been very helpful so far. I am excited about this. Also, with his advisory comes a partnership with LDJ Capital and The SoHoLoft too. We couldn't have asked for a better advisor.
Side note: I was contacted by Midex Exchange. They asked me to be their US Ambassador. I agreed. I know that somehow this role will come back around to benefit URAllowance. One hand washes the other, as they say.

With all the projects out there that are leaning on the VR hype, I'm surprised we haven't come across any VR doctors. It is amazing to me that we are not seeing this yet. The concept would be easy to conceive. The application of it in real life and the technology that would make it work are already available too. There you go. My 100 million dollar idea of the day.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ALAX - The Blockchain Game Platform for Emerging Markets on: April 20, 2018, 01:53:42 AM
I was thinking about the KYC on this project and the targeted demographic. I keep seeing the term "unbanked" being used a lot. My concern is, KYC requires not only identification but also proof of residency. The proof of residency requires a utility bill in the party's name with a matching address.... See where I'm going with this? Most utility companies require some form of debit or credit or pay a large deposit. I think a lot of your target audience will not be able to pass KYC because they probably don't have utilities turned on on their name. Might want to think of offering a solution ahead of time, before this becomes an issue. Otherwise, you might find yourself making a lot of refunds.

It's official!!!
David Drake is officially on our advisory board! Drake is a cryptocurrency man of steel ladies and gentleman. He has been in this game since before most of us were even using the internet on a daily basis.

David Drake LDJ Capital

David Drake is Founder and Chairman at LDJ Capital, a multi-family office which deals in worldwide funds accessing over $1.5 trillion in assets, and maintains over 50+ global directors and family office partners.

More recently, Mr. Drake is also seen as a leader in cryptocurrency.  Mr. Drake saw the value of digital assets when everyone was avoiding it.  It all started in 2011 when Mr. Drake collaborated on the JOBS Act to create new laws underlying all fundraising in the U.S. for all ICOs.  He runs a $200M LDJ Cayman Fund focused on cryptocurrency, mining and ICO acquisitions.  LDJ Capital Credit also offers middle market bridge financing to seed upcoming ICO’s.  Previously he held a majority stake as a Managing Partner with Robert Hambrecht in an Alternative Energy Fund NewCommons Capital 2009-2010.  David Drake is the Chairman of LDJ Capital, a multi-family office with holdings in Victoria Partners, a 500 family office network based in London; LDJ Real Estate Group; and The Soho Loft Media Group.

Mr. Drake has been involved in TMT (technology, media, telecoms), realty, hospitality, cleantech, energy and social impact investments for more than 20 years. He is an advocate of innovative investing in private equity, capital formation policies and developments globally, and the US JOBS Act which he lobbied for in the US Congress and the EU Commission. Because of his leading work in this space, he represented the US Commerce Department at the EU Commission in Brussels and Rome in 2012 and was invited to the White House Champions of Change ceremony in Washington, D.C. and as a speaker at the UK Parliament in 2013.

His investment, The Soho Loft Media Group, produces and sponsors over 200 global conferences annually and his articles are syndicated in over 100 publications.  One such event was April 2013 for the institutional media leader Thomson Reuters, with speakers from Nasdaq, NYSE, KKR and Carlyle Group. He advances financial innovation through his work as an international speaker and writer. He has spoken in top universities like Cambridge, NYU, Cornell, Columbia,  and writes regularly for major publications like WSJ, Forbes, Huffington Post, Thomson Reuters. He is the co-author of the books Planet Entrepreneur and is the author of the upcoming books The Crowdfunding Economy and LIFEE: Life Instructions for Entrepreneurs and Executives.

Previously, Mr. Drake has acted as general partner in fund-of-funds, realty funds, venture capital funds, seed funds and hedge funds.  Mr. Drake’s holdings have media partnership with the European Business Angel Network, European Venture Philanthropy Association and Angel Capital Association of North America.  He sits on 4 angel networks and has co-founded two angel networks.

Privately, Drake has hosted the Harvard Business Club of NY at his home, produced Carnegie Hall concerts and raised funds for the charities Trail Blazers and Best Buddies for many years. His years in the performing arts as a former board adviser to the Washington Ballet reached an apex March 2015 with a board director position at the New York City Opera

Born in Sweden and fluent in six languages, Mr. Drake has an MBA in Finance and an MA in International Law and Economics from George Washington University, where he was awarded the Wallenberg Scholarship for academic merit.

In my opinion, Mr. Drake is a beacon of success. He is the most well connected and motivated people I've ever met. He is truly on our board to help us succeed. I'd say we are lucky but actually, this partnership did not just land in our laps. My brother, Michael Martin saw David at the top of the "People of Blockchain" list along with several other influencers. We like to aim high. Out of all the top people on that list, Drake had, hands down, done the most for crypto on so many levels. I won't get into detail, but I will say that more than a few of the "top influencers" in the crypto space are selling their names and faces to anyone with enough ETH and is also willing to give up a large portion of their tokens. I am a little bit saddened by how many of these people that we are supposed to look to for guidance and unbiased opinion were willing to join our advisory board without knowing anything more than our names.  Embarrassed   Some even responded to a simple introduction email with three page, pre-written sales pitch and contract. No thanks. We agreed from day one that we will not shill, be shilled, or support that crap  in any way, shape, or form.
Needless to say, David stood out. When he replied to us I didn't believe it. Not only was he attentive, he was already making plans for us it seemed. I'm not saying that whole list over there at ICOB is bad. There are many, many reputable people of blockchain that are doing great things for crypto and giving their honest opinions on ICOs. The ones I'm talking about are high up the list but are few in comparisson. I won't name names but you know who you are. My advice, to the "shillers of blockchain", greed has toppled empires. You have enough money. Rediscover your crypto roots, the reason you became a pioneer. Be happy with what you've earned and stop selling yourselves to shit projects.
Thanks Drake, for keeping real all these years and not succumbing to greed. I know why you are always smiling. Because you are content.

That's good that they got an "A" rating from a rating site. What is the credibility of most of these sites. What gives them the right to rate ICOs?
