421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 18, 2024, 07:06:04 AM
Well, if some people want to add to the discussion, they can but it's almost always going to be the same. It's important to have the OP to lock it in case it just gets too much. It's up to the OP or a member like you to report the thread. I'm not sure if it's going to be considered by the mod to lock it if it's just too many pages anymore. I see mega threads but it's all about a singular topic and it's being updated every year because it's a different season and it's just that type of thread.

Maybe if the threads are redundant, that can be a parameter to close it or something.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos team identity on: February 17, 2024, 05:53:03 PM
I believe that there are reasons why casino owners or developers are not named. It can be privacy, security, and anonymity. I know that there are a couple of casinos that are famous and owned by the same group of people and probably they don't want to look at how they are competing with each other.
423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 05:49:51 PM
I voted sometimes just because I rarely join a new casino but if there is a good deal, I do it. It's a good deal sometimes that's why it's important or beneficial to try it.

I want to stick to only a couple of casinos because of the level and of course, perks that a casino has if you have a specific high-level account. I believe that you don't have any assurance that you can have the best result on a casino but at least make the most out of it if you were to gamble. Get all the perks.
424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets just for fun ? on: February 17, 2024, 02:04:08 AM
The title is definitely not the right one. I think the better one is this.

"Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit?"

It's always going to be about making money and those "bets" just for fun are those who are just trying out gambling. I think that's the reason for people trying it but avid gamblers probably want to profit and not gamble just for fun. There's definitely intention IMO.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My wealth plan in the next 3 years from today on: February 17, 2024, 01:36:41 AM
Wouldn't you earn from anything if you keep it at USDT or USDC? I mean, of course, you would be risking it but still, you have an opportunity to profit if it rose to the occasion.

Don't you think about BTC like that as well? Is it something more stable and more accepted in the world? It's better for BTC IMO.

Can you give reasons why TRON?
426  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Wtf is up with freebitco.in? on: February 16, 2024, 04:58:18 PM
Maybe you could try a different browser or something? It might be because of some scripts that are not loading properly or something. If you could've logged in, there might be something different at play or something.

What's the glitch that happened? You need to show something.
427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bull Charging or Just Warming Up Post-Halving? on: February 16, 2024, 04:53:44 PM
With the current market, I believe there are still some fluctuations that make it say that we are already in the bull run but have $52k and just somehow staying there, it has shown that $1.02 trillion is already significant. We know that there are still factors that make the market still rocky because of the implications and regulations of other countries. I believe that it's still volatile and you need to believe that it can just be a warm up but still be ready with the market.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing when to own your bitcoin on: February 16, 2024, 04:32:10 PM
Having that price range makes it a great profit with a whopping (130.35%) assuming it is with the spot market. You could've made a lot more if you were to use it in futures but it's really too risky TBH. It's quite hard to trade that if you have less experience but it can happen.

429  Economy / Economics / Re: El Salvador's success? on: February 16, 2024, 05:23:50 AM
I have read information about this and watched a short video on how they managed to turn around that country. There would always be people who would criticize the government's actions like calling them a dictator but maybe that's the only way and it has become effective. But the people who have a say on this are the people of El Salvador.

We have an outsider's perspective but we can see results and I think it's a success if the goal is to lessen the crimes and it did. The other issues are a different discussion. It all boils down to the goal you are about.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 16, 2024, 01:54:37 AM
Well, upon researching it, the main function is that you can fractionalize NFTs right? So in essence, you could own a fraction of different NFTs that might be too much or expensive for one person. Additionally, it's good with this because the liquidity and trading could give more volume to the NFT market. It's possible that having this ERC-404 would make the market more liquid and more trades can be done.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starknet airdrop February 20 on: February 15, 2024, 05:33:51 PM
Congratulations to all those eligible for the Starknet airdrop! The time has finally come. Thank you, OP, for creating this topic.

Frankly, although I was an early user of the Starknet network and interacted with many ecosystem applications built on the network, conducting numerous transactions with a trading volume of over a hundred dollars, unfortunately, I wasn't eligible. Perhaps the reason is that I withdrew my ETH to the Bravoos wallet before the snapshot date. I don't know the exact reason, but I'm not saddened because I've received many other airdrops this year, such as MANTA, ALT, JUP, ARB... etc. It's a matter of luck in the end.
How do you discover these types of airdrops? Like how? I wasn't able to see the majority of it. Was there a lot of post here in the forum? Are there projects now that you can use and hope for a possible airdrop in the coming months/years?
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be very careful and attentive when selling your bitcoins on: February 15, 2024, 05:28:34 PM
That's definitely his fault not knowing that his exchange has 0 liquidity and the exchange having the last laugh them getting the Bitcoin.

Shouldn't there be an error with it? Or it's enough that the total amount of buy orders for BTC would amount to 1.7BTC but the price rate that they are buying is so low?

Anyway, using the market sell button in a low liquidity exchange is very bad move.  Roll Eyes
433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: February 15, 2024, 04:51:23 PM
Mercedes also announced their car yesterday. It looks like they are back in their golden age colours.  Smiley  The black car was also really nice but the traditional design is better I think. It reminds me the years with Hamilton domination and Hamilton must also be happy to see this look again. We will see how competitive Mercedes will be this year but I don't have high expectations.

I hope that they have a challenge now with the championships, I believe that that's the ultimate goal that they have. Maybe they can bounce back with this and since it's their golden age colors, they can go back into the peak performance that they have dominated before. Hmm.

I remember that it's the issue with the downforce and stability right? They are having a hard time with it with the previous cars.

434  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security might not be a priority for younger generations. (2) on: February 15, 2024, 09:03:08 AM
I initially thought of farming, as yield farming or something related to that and I have to re-read the post to understand it. It might be just me lol.

Anyway, In terms of technology, they would probably be more inclined to that cryptocurrency adaptation because it's easier compared to actual farming. Maybe in the future, they will be applying what they have learned in cryptocurrency to actual farming/food-related services and making it more efficient.

I'm curious, what made you ask this post? It's not that relevant TBH.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DaddyDoge (DD) Worth Investing In? Let's Debate its Potential to Reach $1.00 on: February 15, 2024, 07:02:24 AM
When I read your post, it sounds like just another meme coin that claims it can reach a certain price and has features that will attract investors. However, in reality, it is unlikely to hit $1. Consider the original meme coin, DOGE, which still hasn't reached $1, and I believe it will continue to be higher than DaddyDoge in the coming years.

If you are considering investing in DD, do so only with money you can afford to lose.
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: February 15, 2024, 05:50:56 AM
Exactly, why have a debate on which is more important when the truth is both psychological and technical analysis is related or a combination, you see in order to plot a good technical analysis with small margin of losses and a good profit potential you will need knowledge and also your strong psychological, because when it comes to execution you will contradict yourself by being afraid to take the risk or questioning yourself if you can take the risk, that's when the psychology part comes, if you can manipulate or control your mind then you can think straigj you can decide where you are going to earn or things will be on your way and also because of the markets volatility it is necessary to have a strong mind and psychological mindset in trading. Try doing a trade without a strong and built-up psychology; I'm sure you will panic and find it hard to decide as your mind will think of other scenarios or be an overthinker.
There might be reasons why he is finding the answer but it just doesn't make sense to me. Why make it different or have like a difference in both just because they are different fields? All I know is that trading requires a lot of things and both of it, Technical Analysis and Psychology, are the pillars. You can add experience if you want to as well.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Repeating mistakes on casino games in gambling site on: February 15, 2024, 02:50:07 AM
It was quite hard to understand what you were trying to say but from my understanding, the gap, means the days that you haven't played/gambled, right? I hope I understood it correctly.

Isn't that uncontrollable? I think that's the misconception with gambling in general, making you think that you will make fewer mistakes if you do continuously gamble, but in reality, it's just the same. It's just luck on your day whether you would hit the goal or not.

You decide to gamble with all your capital or not, whether or not there's a positive result or negative, it's still YOUR call to make. Not the frequency of your gambling.
438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: February 14, 2024, 02:45:32 PM
I believe it works hand in hand when it comes to trading because having  the right psychology towards trading will lead to the right decisions and will pay off in the long run, on the other hand, it's the part where you don't know what you are going to do but just know all the knowledge but not in the right mindset, making the wrong decisions. It's definitely not an illusion but the correct risk management and right mindset would lead to better win percentage. We all know that we cannot always win 100%.
439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causes loss on: February 14, 2024, 07:32:39 AM
So basically, he got so addicted and that belief that he has where "we are going to make it and win that big amount" type of thinking is what is keeping him going. I think he needs a wake-up call that gambling is not gonna be the thing that would save him but only himself. If he doesn't do anything about it, it will just worsen and then before you know it, he will just give up or something.

I think the only way out of that is an acceptance from himself that he is an addict and he needs help. If he doesn't see that it is a problem, losing 64k and hoping that it can be won back is a problem. It's only him realizing that is wrong that could probably help.
440  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is rabbit.io is the best way to swap crypto on: February 14, 2024, 02:44:12 AM
Probably one of the ways to swap crypto but seeing everything, it's just the same. What I could formulate about it is the difference between popular DEX and rabbit.io is the design and UI. Most of the famous DEX' are cute too so maybe this one will rise in value as well? I do hope that everyone will approach it with caution seeing that it's quite new and little reviews yet.
