1341  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger: get up to 30$ in free BTC. on: November 22, 2022, 05:04:51 PM
To someone who is looking for a hardware wallet and doesn't have any idea about what happened in the past with Ledger devices, it's interesting to do. It's enticing users and a pretty good thing to consider knowing that you can already have a balance in your wallet. Not bad. The discount is already the investment.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To those who do not care about their privacy. Why? on: November 22, 2022, 05:48:37 AM
It's weird to think of a person who doesn't think of their privacy. It's either they are famous or just darn stupid to think of what they will do with their information. It's a good practice to take good care of privacy, but at the same time, it prevents people from doing evil acts that would affect many people.

In essence, it's a matter of philosophy whether it's okay to share your information as long as it's for the greater good, KYC, and AML applications. And at the other end of the spectrum is the private person, who wouldn't want to participate in KYC and AML things because they want their information to stay personal with only them and not give up at all what they hold dear.

It doesn't mean it's not essential; they want to comply because they are using services that would make life easier for them and be in the "system."

The stigma should be removed that if you are interested in protecting your privacy, it doesn't correlate immediately that you are a criminal. But that's the thing with the argument. If you have nothing to hide, why hide it? Is it for the greater good?

This is a dilemma that is not going to be solved lol.
1343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the Alt Coins ar going to wiped out but bitcoin will resurect from the dead on: November 22, 2022, 04:09:43 AM
I believe it's important that renewable energy resources should be the ones facilitating all the mining power used by miners ASAP. I know there are a lot already but you can't deny the fact of the long-term effects of having PoW.
How many solar panels or other renewable energy producing equipment is built in an environmentally friendly factory using renewable energy?  I would love having everyone use solar panels, but truth is many of them are built in ways that are very unsustainable and unfriendly to the environment.  I feel like we are chasing our own tails by trying to move to renewable for now.  I mean it would make no sense to purchase an eco paper bag if it comes wrapped in plastic, would it.
I think the fact that you are doing something about it is already the impact with regard to the environment. It's not an immediate return for us but it's on the long-term side of things. At least reducing waste is already a good direction for us. I do hope that all of the countries have these reforms, not just concerned with the mining operations but in general terms. As long as recycling is concerned and the energy that it takes to mine up a single BTC is to be dealt with. Little things are okay as long as it's in the right direction.
1344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the Alt Coins ar going to wiped out but bitcoin will resurect from the dead on: November 22, 2022, 01:32:17 AM
I like how your name speaks a lot of your posts here. It's the first time that I have seen your post.

Anyway, I believe that only some altcoins would die because of the fallout of BTC. It just seems that way because there's a majority of RED in the market, and it just makes sense with everything happening worldwide. I hope every important coin will recover in these situations, but we will only be sure if we are there already.

Energy Prices are skyrocketing, due to weather extremes and lower supply.
I believe it's important that renewable energy resources should be the ones facilitating all the mining power used by miners ASAP. I know there are a lot already but you can't deny the fact of the long-term effects of having PoW.
1345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk says the price of BTC will rise on: November 21, 2022, 02:28:50 PM
I hope that Bitcoin will increase in price, but it seems so bleak with what's happening right now. It would decrease first and then rebound when it reaches the support level of around the $14k range. I think it's best to be positive, but it doesn't seem so. It's hard to predict what will happen with the market, but make sure you can do what you can afford to lose.
1346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar bribed 8 players from Ecuador for the opening match on: November 19, 2022, 08:40:16 PM
Match fixes are quite common with that and there is even a documentary about it in Netflix, so you just know that if they have that they have substantial evidence with how corrupt it is in general. Having it titled as FIFA uncovered, it already says, corrupt I think. Lol
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD I GO AHEAD TO BUY AND HOLD SOLANA? on: November 19, 2022, 07:25:19 PM
Are you just waiting for someone to make a decision for you? I think if you have the idea and believe that you are going to benefit from being Solana, then go ahead, make sure that you are going to invest in what you can afford to lose.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market will come back bigger again on: November 19, 2022, 03:49:55 PM
What has happened recently it’s really something that it’s only in crypto with that kind of fast volatile movement. I think that’s unique to crypto markets since it is 24/7. For sure there are those type of insider trading and other stuff that you have mentioned in Cryptos, but it’s just really hard to pinpoint it.

I think when all of this is over, it’s going to be a boring again and people hopefully would get more into it again. One of the greatest time to buy it now I think.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cristiano Ronaldo NFTs(CR7) be successful after its launch on Binance ? on: November 19, 2022, 08:11:40 AM
The ones who will benefit from that launch are the ones who are holding it already. They could sell the most limited edition at a high price, and in the future, it will go down in history as a project to have been bought and gone away. I do hope that it continues, but most of those types of projects should have some benefit to them and become inexpensive, and be developed continuously.

Maybe being in an official club could make it a thing that could help them be successful in that project. Is there a good resource to read about this?
1350  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The FTX conspiracy on: November 19, 2022, 03:06:16 AM
This is a fascinating topic knowing that they have a lot of things and connections behind it. All I thought was they have a lot of backing and think they have that kind of power with all the access and relationships; it's safe to say that there is something fishy about it. It's going to take more work than being able to continue with that operation, knowing that there's an underlying motive behind it.

Oof, many people are now really revealing their part in their whole parts in this.  Roll Eyes
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have Lucky Casino? on: November 17, 2022, 03:26:22 PM
I have never thought of it that way. The difference between the two different casinos can be a restart for your luck now and your attitude with the current happenings in the casino. It will be an excellent way to approach how you can manage your temper and emotions when gambling, but it wouldn't help you control yourself so that you can ignore and stop playing first and recover the money you lost.

The disadvantage would be the part where you are interested in gambling more, and you can lose more by playing with more casinos.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gemini Earn Program Pausing Withdrawals on: November 16, 2022, 03:21:04 PM
When an exchange starts to tweet about withdrawals and to reassure the public, it’s a two-way street because some loyal people would defend it and, of course, say that they are fine and going to have a better future, but then, on the other hand, the warnings that the exchanges gave us also grounds for possible problems in finance of that exchange which could lead to bankruptcy and the loss of your funds

Better be prepared and as the saying goes “it’s better to be safe than sorry”
1353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How accurate is the BTC RAINBOW chart? on: November 16, 2022, 01:26:33 PM
It's really a good thing to see and interpret it so that you can really absorb and understand what happened in the past that could make that kind of "rainbow" chart in the link you have given. It's perfect for adding something you can look forward to and profit with. It's hard to bet on something you are unsure of, but it's best to analyze what you have first and ensure that you invest in something you can afford and risk.
1354  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: November 16, 2022, 12:24:46 PM
That kind of situation would not be an ideal one knowing that it’s going to be for a change in situation. We are all going to be in a hard spot and getting paid half would mean that I’m undervalued in the current market. I would choose a different company that can afford me knowing that it’s a scarcity job. So it depends on what job you have and how it’s going to be strategic with the job market.

For those jobs that are easy to be replaced, I think it’s really best to study on something that is on demand and possibly upgrade your skills so that you are going to be hard to be replaced.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: METAMASK TOKEN BIGGEST AIRDROP EVER! on: November 15, 2022, 04:49:24 PM
Any resource that you could put out on this one? If MetaMask were to give out airdrops to everyone who has activated or something, I think it would be already accepted everywhere, but the value of it might not be as high as you want it to be.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bets From Other Bettors OFFICIALLY... on: November 14, 2022, 12:27:42 PM
Isn't it like seeing the different bets across the site and checking what they bet on? Then you do it manually? Sometimes I do this with the other bets shown in the High Rollers tab. Just like in the previous post that you have. This could be an excellent opportunity for a bot copier or something related to that that would make it easier to get into copy betting.

It's hard to do this every time, putting in bets to someone you don't know, but it's best to do it manually. You will see if it's going to be good.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogelon Mars. on: November 14, 2022, 04:35:39 AM
So I have been buying Dogelon Mars this last week and I have been wondering if there is a way to transfer to my ledger.
What chain is it on? I didn't have time to research it. Just probably use your ERC-20 or something with your ledger. I'm not sure if ledger has acceptability with the actual dogelon mars token.

I dont know, everything looks so legit in the first impression and could be something I always wanted to invest into. It does not seem they are making too much buzz about the presence of DOGELON coin. I never heard about it before. To my surprise they are literally having 650K followers and it's pretty awesome community support for this coin.

I suspect the support is coming from Elon and DOGE fans combined, considering the names they have used for the project.

However, realistically the project is meme based and with our great experience earlier I would say precautionary steps are needed. May be put few bucks now and then but not more than 500 bucks I guess?

I am okay with it because the volume is pretty well for every 24 hours. Could be good choice could be bad one too.
Basically all a gamble towards this. If it works, congratulations, if not, then make sure you are investing something that is okay to lose.
1358  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BREAKING: BINANCE STOPS WITHDRAWALS on: November 14, 2022, 03:19:37 AM
With what's currently happening in the crypto space, I'm gonna be quite surprised with this, knowing that I do use Binance, and it's something that I wouldn't want to happen. Just like what the other members have said, I'm concerned with what will be the concerns of crypto users. It's just like how people would see their crypto portfolio vanish if they saw something like this.

Not the end, but many users wouldn't probably use it anymore or something.

With everything happening within the Crypto space, it’s unpredictable with all that uncertainty with the regulations behind the behind-the-scenes of every exchange. There is because, knowing FTX and seeing it as a number two for quite some time, anything could happen with the crypto. We need to be careful about How much we are going to invest.
