Time is about halfway up, Amir, you gonna work late tonight and all through the weekend?

Where is Terrahash? They are not responding to emails, tickets, voice call (mail box still not setup).
They are obviously monitoring the forum though.

Let it be known that Terrahash has my chips today. So the two weeks clock starts now.
I need to know what size and spec of fan to buy but I can't find the info as terrahash is not responding to anything.

Looks like someone called TH's bluff.
Now we will see...

422  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Groupbuy][Closed] 3rd batch KNCMiner - Sold out! on: September 06, 2013, 11:12:09 AM
Hey Everyone,

September has started! Within a few weeks we should be hashing away with our Jupiters.

This post serves a few reasons. We now have information spread out over 4 different topics as well as bitfunder as well as the blog (which hasn't been updated recently Wink ). When hashing starts we will post the updates only on bitfunder and the blog. Feel free to discuss it here or in any topic of course Smiley Specifics for this groupbuy will be posted here of course.

Just in case: The blog is located on
http://p2pool.nl/blog/

Second, we've secured our PSU's. We just got word from our datacenter that they have arrived with DHL:

We've chosen the Seasonic M12II 850W 80+ Bronze as our PSU of choice. This PSU more than meets KnCs requirements and we are positive that even if performance exceeds current expectations this PSU will still more than hold up.

As soon as we receive word on final delivery we'll let you know!

Cheers,
BlastBob & Tyrion70

Thanks for the updates guys, its a very exciting time!

Did the CGMiner guys ever get their Knc ASIC so they can develop and test yet?  Or are they only going to get 1 day to do that just like Knc is only going to have 1 day to test and ship all the Sept Orders?      Roll Eyes Kiss Cry Undecided Roll Eyes Cry

Another question answered already. By KnC themselves. Posted on this thread too. Can you read? Or do you just pop by every now and then to stir up some pointless crap?
Oh - did they? Got a link to the post? I missed it.
I'm curious as to what their reply was - they never replied by email.

KnCMiner do have boards in our possession to use in the meantime for testing purposes, so having the controller boards printed with the phrase will not delay us in any way, but that design has now been optimised, The order has now been placed and we are very happy with the result.

Secondly with regards to CGminer, and it’s opensource protocol we’ve been able to configure our device unassisted and made a greater than 30% performance increase using the underlying code, for which we would like to thank both kano and ckolivas with their outstanding contribution to the community.

Next we wish to address the concerns surrounding why we have suggested power supplies capable of overcompensating for our promised maximum power consumption = 1.6 W/GH/s. Again, the answer lies within our motto of under-promising, and over-delivering, but this time we wish to extend the margins to yourselves and ensue you have enough power to allow for the additional hashrate our devices are certain to supply.

Finally we wish to confirm that yes we are still on track for our delivery towards the end of September.

As far as I know they've only "partnered" with Avalon and I'd say over 50% of this forum did as well through various group buys and everyone got screwed.

They also partnered with cloudhashing, which didnt turn out so well either.
429  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 05, 2013, 06:36:17 PM
Ok I used to support Terrahash, but this is a delay tactic. Get your money back, and walk.

They genuinely have a natural talent at getting screwed over, or they really are very shady.

This is marketing BS.

Sorry to bring up the protected payment method stuff again, but if they don't continue to offer it, stay well clear, unless you lot like getting burnt as much as they do.

They did give a 100% refund in 3 months option for anyone that wants it. That's not too bad.

They also promised allot of other things as well.

Copying for posterity,

No matter what you think of BTC, he has every right to file complaints.  They don't anwser anything.  They will make another announcement, but honestly who would trust them again?  And paypal.... even if they want to use it thier account has to look horrible with all the disputes.

They had a lot of promise at the beginning far back.  They have made so many false claims, and announcements it's sad.  The good news is once the cash is gone I don't think Amir will ever be able to work in the Bitcoin hardware industry again.  I hope not to many lose money I feel sorry for the ones who trusted TH with wire transfers and BTC orders.

You are wrong!

It's called having standing. You can't/shouldn't file a complaint with anyone if you were not wronged.

If BTCEIC filed a claim with the BBB after he got his refund then he filed a false claim, which is slander and/or fraud.

On top of that, after he got his refund he promised never to come back to this thread and say a word, so he is a lying, dishonest, slandering douche with an axe to grind for NO REASON.

CASE CLOSED

You are quite wrong, here is what I promised:

If they gave me a refund that day I would not come back to this thread, they didn't, so I haven't.

Although "we" have a policy here to not feed the trolls, but I will try to put this discussion to rest:

1. Knightlife did call in advance that day, but that was the first time he had called and "we" had no idea what his number is, in case you think we avoided his call on purpose. I was expecting him here today (Thursday), and his visit a day earlier was a surprise. And yes, that meeting WAS very important for the timely success of this whole project.

2. Knightlife saw at least one other person (Ricky, who is on our team), who came to pick me up. He can confirm this. Ricky and another team member were already at the meeting place, and they called me while Knightlife was still here, and I asked them to send Ricky to pick me up. Maybe Knightlife remembers this call and can confirm it.

3. We will invite Knightlife again soon, once the board is hashing better, and we will show him the evidence of all the 4 orders that we have directly placed with Avalon.

4. This point is irrelevant, as long as everyone gets the evidence that we are making progress.

why can't you show us the evidence now?
why can't you send me my refund now?
I would expect you to want me to stfu.

Let's try this another way, please can I have my refund?

I btceic do hereby promise that I will leave this thread never to return, if you hit the refund button at paypal.

Regarding my slander/fraud BBB claim against terrahash, I posted the BB claim on 07/16/2013, my forced transaction reversal came through on 07/17/2013.

Unlike Amir and or Justin at TerraHash I will send proof of the two above claims.

btw, joe,
I insist on you resorting to violent outbursts and tourettes like cursing and calling me and others names, this just shows everybody else, the types of people that TerraHash has recruited to speak on their behalf.

I would also like to point out the hypocrisy of your entire stance, when you yourself are doing the exact same thing to Josh at BFL.

Yeah Terrahash has recruited me!  That's a good one!! Where do you buy your tinfoil hats?

I am doing it to Josh because (wait for it genius) I AM A CUSTOMER OF BFL and they screwed me, and I have yet to get my money or my items. I have standing, you are just a person who got their money back and still want to stamp your feet and cry.

I am still waiting for PP to refund my Terrahash money, so technically I am still a customer yet I don't see my way clear to fuss and cry like you.

These are not violent outbursts, this is you hearing the truth. GROW UP

VMC uses eASIC to Achieve 24.756 TH/s Bitcoin Miner
VMC develops single mask ASIC using 28nm eASIC Nextreme-3 to significantly increase performance while reducing power consumption
Santa Clara, CA and Springfield, MO – September 4, 2013 – eASIC® Corporation, a leading provider of single mask ASIC devices and Virtual Mining Corporation (VMC) today announced that VMC will use eASIC Nextreme-3™ 28nm devices to create a series of scalable Bitcoin mining machines capable of generating up to 24.756 TH/s (tera hashes per second) of cryptographic hashes.

"The fast design and turnaround time of eASIC Nexteme-3 28nm single mask ASIC devices coupled with the impressive performance and low power makes this an ideal solution for our Fast-Hash™ One Bitcoin Mining Machines", said Kenneth E. Slaughter, CEO of VMC. "The performance we have seen from the eASIC Nextreme-3 family has allowed us to develop a scalable platform that provides the computing power to satisfy the most demanding Bitcoin mining cryptography problem." added Slaughter.

"VMC has used its vast cryptographic algorithm experience to take full advantage of the advanced performance and power reduction features in our eASIC Nextreme-3 28nm architecture", said Jasbinder Bhoot, VP of Marketing at eASIC. "This has allowed VMC to architect a very high performance Bitcoin miner, while reducing overall power consumption", added Bhoot.

Where do you get your products from? wholesale or dropship?

What expertise do you bring to the table?

Do you have a slide deck or business plan we can look at?

What experience do you and your partners have with, retail, e-commerce, sales, tech., etc.

What are your contingency plans for CC, PayPal, etc fraud?

edit:
Are you in the U.S.? if so did you know that by raising funds from unqualified sources you might be breaking the law?

437  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 04, 2013, 05:12:38 PM
endgame is clear - TH will drag & bullsh** until 180GH miners market price becomes pennies on dollars in term of original price all the buyers paid (given current situation, we not that far off), they will then just purchase and deliver those near worthless hardware to the poor saps who paid with btc/wire transfer and consider it complete, pocketing rest of the $ and walk away clean.

and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

if anyone who paid with paypal or credit card and still have not filed for a chargeback at this point, you deserve to lose your money. Sorry to be mean spirited but it's the truth.

Anybody that is defending them at this point is complicit in the theft of your BTC, I would be surprised to learn that bargraphics and the rest are not sock puppets or paid shills.

439  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: September 04, 2013, 03:24:11 AM
from Steamboats thread:

Quote
The following is an update on the order status of Avalon ASIC chips regarding an order you have placed.
A second update will follow.

Chip order status:

We have been in contact with Yifu over the past three days and are currently negotiating a compensation plan for damages incurred as a result of Bitsyncom’s failure to deliver. We cannot give any additional information at this time. While we are working to reach a fair and agreeable resolution for all parties involved, it is still unclear whether further action will be required, and we make no promises regarding the outcome. Yifu has informed us he will be releasing an update later today, but has not disclosed the topic.

We have confirmed with Yifu directly the eligibility of all batches ordered for refund to be processed when requested. Additionally, there is no deadline for requesting a refund. As such, we have begun processing all requests for refunds of orders placed with us, which will be submitted to Yifu upon each batch being requested in full.

The following procedure will be used to facilitate the refund requests:

Refunds will be in the amount of 95% of the original .086 BTC purchase price, or .0817 BTC per chip.

All those requesting a chip refund will be allowed to do so, so long as there are enough requests to fulfill an entire batch.

No customer will be forced to accept a refund in order to process a batch refund.

Each customer may choose to submit a refund request for a single order or all orders they have placed, but must refund each order in its entirety. Partial refunds for any order will not be accepted.

Refunds of batches will be requested from Mr. Yifu Guo of Bitsyncom beginning with Batch 6, and continue in reverse order to the first so long as refund requests equal an entire batch.

Customers in a batch which has been refunded will be placed in an earlier batch according to their position in that batch’s order, and their position relative to other batches. All purchases will be kept in their original order, and the order book truncated to reflect the refunded purchases.

Once a refund request has been placed with us, and the refund request submitted to Mr. Yifu Guo of Bitsyncom, it is final. There will be no option to receive the chips originally ordered for any reason once the process has begun.

Chip purchase refunds will be dispersed upon receipt of the refund from Mr. Yifu Guo of Bitsyncom. We will supply any administrative paperwork necessary and do what we can to facilitate the refund. We accept no responsibility for any delays outside of our control, which include delayed receipt of the refund from Mr. Yifu Guo of Bitsyncom, and will not disperse refunds prior to receipt of the funds from Mr. Yifu Guo of Bitsyncom.

To process your refund, please fill out the refund request form found at the bottom of this email in its entirety. Each refund request will be verified for its authenticity and processed. Any submissions failing verification will be sent an email for additional verification. Once we have reached 10,000 chips, the request will be submitted to Mr. Yifu Guo of Bitsyncom and processed.

The situation as it stands is far from optimal, and while we realize a 100% refund is desired by most of those who have purchased chips through us, we have invested considerable resources in order to facilitate our offer of Avalon ASIC chips to the community, and cannot offer a full refund. We have done everything in our power to educate potential customers of the risks involved when considering placing an order, and have stated explicitly we assume no responsibility for any issues that may arise due to circumstances outside our control; including but not limited to Avalon failing to ship, shipment being seized by customs, shipment arriving late, etc.

While we are not bound in any way to do so, we know it is unethical to retain the profits made from chip purchases, and have chosen to refund all profits which remain after administrative, logistical, and material expenses have been taken into consideration.

No

We will be assembling a test K64 tomorrow.

We really don't know what's happening at Avalon's end. We have not received any communication from Yifu whatsoever.

We are already working on Plan B. Can't reveal anything right now. But will update as soon as we can.

Countdown clock for the "assembled" k64

Timer removed. End time: 2013-08-30+24:00:00PST

Looks like you lost, where are the boards Terrahash?

Were you even able to get 1 k16 running at 333*16 without HW errors?

Amir, Justin,
You should pack it up and close your doors, save yourself from bankruptcy and the lawsuits that are surely coming your way.

You have failed in every way:
Failure to communicate in any meaningful way: check
Failure to produce a working prototype: check
Failure to recruit customer advocates: check
Failure to meet any of your own deadlines or promises: check

You failed and this is now undeniable.

So does anyone actually expect TH to update us this week?

I wonder how many actually still have open orders at this point.

No. Of course not.

Come on guys give them (assuming there is still more then Amir there) some time!  Amir has to either pay someone to make a picture or find a some advanced looking chips for their next announcement before they take orders!

I mean they could be working on the K-64 they announced they started, or making a proper K-16, or making up specs for their product they already pre-announced, maybe even reading tickets preparing to answer them!

Who knows they could even be a progressive company!  Maybe on this weeks agenda is working from home! They can not answer tickets from the comfort of their own homes!
Did they not yet provide any evidence of a finished or hashing K64?
