The 10 port 36watt will NOT be able to feed all 5 (you ordered 5, right?) MLD's. Sorry to dissapoint you but for most hubs these MLD's are just too hungry. Especially if you want to crank them up for a higher hashrate. ...
oops brain fart went n divided the watts by the ports instead of dividing it by 12 first smh I've got some 12v 5 amp supplies kicking around I'll give one of those a go if it doesn't have an amperage input level should be ok, as far as i understand it it should just pull what it needs or is capable of handling. probably should've gone for the one from scan instead but this one claimed it was suitable for usb miners if only I could do maths in the morning worse case scenario it melts and so do the sticks lol

There's a better deal... 13 port ones... 60W 2.1 A per port. Fits 7 MLDs at 700MHz damn I already ordered the 10 port, oh well only got 5 of these on the way atm ... shameless self-reply: the 3 ASICs run stable at 900, when i point a fan at them. it's not USB bus saturation, it's temperature. waiting for the rest to arrive today, hopefully.
do these little guys get quite hot then? the hub i ordered has an Aluminium body hopefully help with heat dissipation

sorry had a bad night thanks for the response, same architecture as a pi really was hoping some pi users were about
here's a raspi user, currently driving 3 moonlander2 and an old rpi2 for bfgminer off a 'rather pricey' and very powerful USB hub at 796, above they become unstable in a rather unpredictable way. i suspect the usb WLAN dongle i have to use in my setup as a part of the problem - i think i read about USB bus saturation being a possible problem SOMEWHERE, but didn't debug in this direction any further yet... anyways, the basic setup worked like a breeze. plug your MLDs in, run bfgminer as described in a lot of places, watch your MLDs have fun. however 9 more moonlanders are on their way to me, and i am eager to see if i can drive all i then have reliably with a bunch of hubs and one rpi3, which will eliminate the need of a seperate dongle. considering that could actually fail, i have a bunch of rpi2 around, and a bananapi routerboard (BPI-R1). i'm kinda sure i'll find a way to make it work reliably, somehow. sweet, i might be slightly better off as the odroid is usb 3, I'm looking at this hub: https://www.scan.co.uk/products/icybox-ib-ac6702-7-port-usb-30-hub-7-charging-ports-led-amp-digital-display?v=cI'm worried about this line though: The USB 3.0 ports on this hub are special because all of them can load any connected mobile devices with up to 2.4 A. The intelligent chipset determines the best charging rate for all models. [edit] found some cheaper hubs from a company called orico claim 36 watt on a 10 port, 12v 3a psu

any chance we can get a discord group going? telegram's ok but demands a telephone number where discord just needs an email
For sure. Can you make it and post here? discord server: https://discord.gg/J7jBhZf

Kinda new to this so bear with me, I have 4 moonlanders's running in separate instances of bfgminer. Seem my hash rates stay a lot more stable then running them all in one instance. I have 2 running on one windows 10 computer and 2 running on a windows 7 computer both 64bit. I dont know if its possible but is there a way I can direct all 4 instances of befminer to one internal proxy them connect that one internal proxy to the external pool or pools of my choice so they show up on the pool as one instance of bfgminer instead of 4. I tried making the same worker names for each instance but the miners still show up on pools as a instances of bfgminer or sometimes 2 due to 2 different computer running them. Any ideas?
you need a stratum proxy if you want to do that sir i use one for cryptonight mining edit: might be a bit outdated but: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=387977.0

I'm sometimes getting "windows has blocked hsrminer's access to graphics hardware"... Any idea what causes this? It's excluded from Windows Defender and everything...
I've got same message for ccminer klaust when I've tried to check if it works with solo-mining. I think it's how Microsoft tries to fight with hidden miners, but as it often happens - it fails and just blocks any miner, even if it was ran intentionally by user. After several attempts to solve this problem, I had to completly disable AV on my rigs. I've had to do this also, its getting pretty bad on the av front im about to throw bitdefender out of the window as well, its decided bat files are viruses if they call minerd/cpuminer etc ... ...
Out of memory error means that you should increase windows pagefile (virtual memory). Pagefile should be = number of GPUs * 6300 mb, i.e. if you have 6 gpus in your rig, set your pagefile to 6*6300=37800 Megabytes. ahh think I've only got it set to 24000'ish & 5 cards I'll give it a go. Great answer and explanation it may solve other errors I've had thanks a lot [edit] worked like a charm, I need to get a bigger SSD slightly faster than ccminer klaust. cards around 60-65 degrees nice

I'm using a mix of 1070's and 1080's in a rig, launched with just the pool and user details and got an out of memory error tried launching with -i x i get illegal memory access errors. Is this a driver issue? started ccminer klaust back up for the time being

So after supervising the tool for 1,2 month i deciced to buy it as well;) The API is nice- but i am wondering if there is already a sample list (with example setups for each exchange) available somewhere to import manually from exchanges which are not supported so far: I thereby have in mind: Coinexchange.io Coinsmarkets.com https://stocks.exchange/For exchanges like coinsmarkets one has obviously first copy the trades into a xls file before being somehow able to import them;) Anyone has a link/hint for me? Same i was wondering if there was a list, whith import-examples, somewhere to add other altcoins-wallets, which are not supported by the AltcoinsImport at the moment. Thinking about Rain/condensate/Boat/aerium etc. My last question is if there is a nice guide/recommendation how to best consider staking coins with the tool- e.g. Pool-staking, POS, or special tokens like DAY. Thank you for your support. on cointracking import from excel file download the template (CoinTracking_Excel_Import.xls) input the trades upload

Hi, what happen when there is hardfork but we didn't update the client? Is it necessary to always keep up to date to recent fork?
well yeah but i'd assume everyone would get plenty of notice

... It's not called for to react like that if no one has been able to help you within 1 day. Probably not many odroid users in this topic.
sorry had a bad night thanks for the response, same architecture as a pi really was hoping some pi users were about guess I'll just try to build the software when(if) the sticks arrive and report back with a guide if successful or a question or two if not I've had my 3 MLD's running for nearly a day now: Really stable in this config. Low error rate too. Unfortunately, my USB fans have ALL failed. Despite that, the temps on the MLD's are between 42-45 degrees celsius on the small (uncooled) heatsink. So i feel like there's quite a bit of room left to turn up the frequency here if you've got any spare pc fans you can run them directly from a 12v dc transformer if you've got one kicking about (box of bits) just use the yellow(+) and black(-) wires

it looks like it gave up on that block(?) and gave the message WARN [03-16|09:30:34] Synchronisation failed, dropping peer peer=730c94a7227d2ef8 err="retrieved hash chain is invalid"
then it gave me the original error again, but itstead of #9134, it said #9136. but now it seems to be importing new chain segments... lol.... i have no clue whats going on... I'm gonna just go have a coffee and see whats up in like 30 mins..
sorts itself out eventually looks like it just needs good peers
