....In a worst case they would keep Kane and play the next season with him and then he could leave Tottenham as a free agent, but does a rich person like Levy even care? I think he would prefer to make some income from this transfer for Tottenham, but it would not be the end of the world if Kane stays for another year. ...
This will depend on each player himself, professionally, he certainly wants income or income that is in accordance with his career and anything related to it. but on the other hand, sometimes, the self-satisfaction of playing for the club he wants will also have a very good impact on the player. If there is a win-win solution for the player and the club, then this is what everyone hopes for. Here, if Harry Kane is reluctant to extend his contract with Tottenham and he enters a free agent, in fact Tottenham may also feel at a loss because after all they did not benefit from the transfer of this talented player. So, it seems that the two clubs are still considering the best plans and strategies. As happened with Mbappe, PSG and Real Madrid.
Harry Kane has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that he's one of the most consistent and best strikers of world football and deserves to be allowed to make his choice of which club he has decided to leave Tottenham for.
The striker has given out his best for the club and should be allowed to go to a club like Bayern where there's very much chances of winning major trophies before he retires from football
4202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 21, 2023, 10:06:22 PM
Real Madrid are going to have their last season with Ancelotti. I guess Ancelotti would like to say a decent goodbye to the team before his departure. Last season was pretty bad for them. They couldn't be competitive enough not only in the La Liga but also the Champions League. This was a big decline considering the season before that one.

I think the reason was only concentration issues. I don't believe it had anything to do with their squad quality. Because there wasn't a big change between last season and the season before about that. They must have lost their focus which led them to be out of title races in big tournaments.

Ancelotti needs to prepare his players well for this season this time while they are strengthening the squad even more.
Carlo Ancelotti has been of a good service to Real Madrid since  returning to the club he once won the UEFA Champions League with in 2013/14 and I think he'll receive a deserving reception from the club fans when he finally calls it a day in his illustrious coaching career
Unconfirmed reports has it that he wants  to takeover the managerial position at the Brazil national team after leaving the Santiago Bernabeu

Lyanco transfer was canceled at the last minute. It was going to be an important transfer, but when this transfer was cancelled, Beşiktaş added Daniel Amartey to their squad. Amartey joined Leicester City in 2016 for 6 million Euro. Beşiktaş got him for free as his contract expired. We can say that it was a great transfer. Beşiktaş took care of the right defender issue.

Jean Onana was added to the midfield. Beşiktaş recruited a very important young star for only 4 million Euro. This transfer move was also very important. Beşiktaş's squad is taking shape. Good looking starting eleven so far.

The team played well in today's friendly match. Aboubakar continues to score goals. There are high expectations from the team this season. Success is expected in the Conference League and Super League.

It seems not bad as you have said but I saw something today that kinda important. There are a lot of players from African national teams, who will go to the African tournament. Beşiktaş only could get those players this year. I don't know if it is the fault of the club management or just luck. Also, the decision for Lyanco is so important and just. It is great for Beşiktaş that, although at the last second, they could avoid a huge problem. We have witnessed terrible decisions like this before in the past. Almost blind players were transferred. The team is looking not bad in the friendly games. As you mentioned, Aboubakar seems like on fire. The pre-season training camp Aboubakar can be huge. He was already so effective last season, this season he can be even much better.
Aboubakar has been on fire with his performance in the pre season games with Besiktas and will definitely be a threat to opposing teams when the team officially starts the new season.
That being said, the African tournament that'll have so many players leave their club to go and participate isn't gonna affect just Besiktas but every other club with African players. Without their African players, I think Besiktas manager will definitely know best to till the African players in his team returns

All the club presidents of European football must have paid attention to the figure of this extraordinary coach (Pep Guardiola). He was always able to raise the reputation of the club he coached. So it is not surprising that many clubs want the services of this coach. Offer after offer, of course many will come to Pep, but of course none of that will be published because it's a private business. And at this time, of course, Pep Guardiola is still under contract with Man City. But when the contract runs out, I think it's also possible that Pep Guardiola will leave Man City.

But I'm pretty sure this season Pep Guardiola will definitely want to set a new record for the Man City club. I'm curious about the upcoming season. Will Man City continue to be a scary club or will another club appear unexpectedly able to compete with Man City?
Pep Guardiola can leave Manchester City anytime when his contract is up but I don't think he will leave them soon so he will extend his contract. Manchester City still really want to keep him and give him a lot of support, especially the budget and various things, but all decisions depend only on Pep Guardiola.

Pep Guardiola has turned Manchester City into the most fearsome team in the Premier League. They also dominate the Premier League with a number of titles, and it's great that Pep Guardiola has presented Manchester City's first Champions League title last season. A new record will be set, but Guadiola will definitely have to work hard on it.
Man City certainly wants to continue to employ Pep Guardiola and of course Man City will do anything to continue to make Pep Guardiola feel at home coaching Man City. Last season, Pep Guardiola actually signed a new contract that extended his coaching period at Man City until 2025. And from several sources it was also stated that Pep Guardiola is still comfortable at Man City and he will last longer at this club.

Pep is still 52 years old so his coaching career is still quite long. So it might not be easy for us to guess where else he wants to go. does he want to have a new challenge or does he want to build a long history with Man City. and yes you are right all that is in the hands of Pep Guardiola. Only he can decide which way his career will go.
Pep Guardiola is still contracted to Manchester City and would definitely remain at the club until the expiration of his contract with the club which will in 2025 summer.
As the most successful manager of Manchester City, Guardiola has been undeniably instrumental to Manchester City's rise over the years. His intimidating record with the club speaks volume of relevance to the club now and whenever he leaves the Etihad
4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 21, 2023, 09:33:54 PM

Well that's true. It's like forcing someone that isn't willing to change to a rehab center and doing the same thing after getting out of a rehab. It's just wasting resources, money and effort on someone that no plan in doing the right thing for himself. It's hard to help gambling addicts if they aren't willing to help themselves knowing how easy it is for them to access casino nowadays. A gambling addict that has a resolve to change even without any help is much better than a person who has all the help but isn't willing to change at all.
If it like that, the only way is when after a gambling addict or an ordinary gambler who has finished going through rehabilitation but still has thought of gambling, it better to exile or move to another city far from the gambling industry or in other ways such as giving a job or any activity that can divert his mind to get used to not thinking about gambling.
But even if the gambler has self-awareness to heal himself there should be someone who really cares about helping that person to stop gambling permanently.
We must not wait until a gambling addict discovered that they are addicted and wants solution before we help them. Most of the addicts are not aware that they are addicted and if you wait until they realise that they are addicted it might never happen. So it is important that when you discover that someone has been addicted you find a way to talk to them. But if your efforts fail you can compel them to rehabilitation
When they live a new life in the rehab centre, they would then understand that the life they we are leaving before rehabilitation was a wasteful and addictive life.

Mbappè has been left out of the list of players going to Japan for the preseason tests.

Considering how bad it is for the marketing of the team, this decision is one step closer for the end of his contract with PSG.
This big move is so obvious that PSG is parting ways with Mbappe.  Leaving Mbappe off the team to Japan pre season shows that PSG wants who will buy Mbappe. In the same news you will understand that Ancelotti doesn't want to say anything about Mbappe.
If not Real Madrid, it will be difficult to see a club that will contain Mbappe's pride, personality and potentials.
He has turned to a very big force that he must be the King in every club he goes.
4207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 20, 2023, 10:49:40 PM
Saudi Arabia's clubs are making bold moves in the football world. Following Al-Ahli successful confirmation of Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City, they now eyes on Fulham coach Marco Silva. Reports suggest that Al-Ahli have made offer of 40 million to Marco Silva, become their new manager for a two-year contract. Definitely Saudi Arabia is on a mission to sign not only Premier League players but also talented managers.
It is not surprising what some Arab clubs have done so far, it is because they have managed to hook big investors in this business. The Arab Pro League will be even more competitive with the arrival of this top player, but here on the other hand their current steps will never guarantee they can win the title. They've spent hundreds of millions of dollars signing players, it has made some teams even scarier.

Apart from top players, I think they will also sign top European coaches as well as another effort in terms of quality improvement. This has definitely been a big step for some of the Arab Pro League teams.
Saudi Arabian League clubs has further told the global football community that quality football can be bought by money.
The Saudi League clubs with their continuous signing of European based players, has made their league to be among the most talked about leagues in the world and they aren't even slowing down any moment from now. More European based players and managers will surely join the league before the transfer window closes
4208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 20, 2023, 10:41:00 PM
The money that raised from selling haaland and bellingham being used to paid its expenses. The profit can be considered as good enough but it's not as big as you said. It's been reported by dortmund's financial report.
Dortmund is trying to hunt another young talented player to be developed again. I think that you will be seeing some names to join in the dortmund soon. Some names being targeted by the club this time.
In Europe, Dortmund are like Porto and Sevilla which have very good scout teams so that they can find many youth talented players around the world especially from Latin American nations and African nations to buy when those youth players are very cheap. Then they grow those players up and turn them to be star players and sell those new rising star players with expensive prices.

In the last twenty years, Dortmund are very successful with this strategy and they maintain it with acceptable good results in Bundesliga and Champions League. Obviously with this strategy, they are unable to win Bundesliga too often and especially unable to win Champions League. Anyway, winning big titles are not their priorities.
Agree with you that winning trophies is not a priority for Dortmund, recruiting young talents with lower market value is their specialty and then selling them at high prices, this will give Dormund a big advantage. What doesn't make sense to me the most is that they like to sell their players to rival clubs like Munchen. You can imagine how disappointed their fans were to see the direction of the club's policy with such a business style.

sometimes I think Bayern Munchen can win the Bundesliga Trophy without getting significant resistance from other clubs in the domestic league. However the fact that Dortmund is a club with a tradition of selling their star players and that has stuck with them is very convincing.
I think it's high time Borussia Dortmund's management comes to terms with the fact that football success isn't measured by strategic a club can be by signing young promising and talented players, develop them and sell them to clubs with higher financial strength including their local rivals Bayern Munich.
Rather football success is measured by the number of trophies that's won by a club. Dortmund must learn how to keep these players they develop, grow them in to a formidable team that'll be very competitive not just in Germany but also in Europe.
4209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 20, 2023, 10:32:01 PM
Well I hope AC Milan can stay in the ranks of clubs that are in the top order of the title race in Serie A this season. They buy players on a limited budget. and they were also forced to sell several players to stabilize their finances. but apart from all that, Ac Milan has always managed to deal with the crises that confronted them. Ac Milan is also always able to maximize the squad they have. But right now Ac milan does need some new strength for the team. because we know that at the end of last season AC Milan started to lose balance in their squad.
Yes, last season they failed to win a trophy, either Serie A or the Champions League. Because indeed they themselves are aware that their team is not as strong as other big clubs. We also know how their squad is, not strong enough for the various players. While on the other hand they do not have much money. That's why at least their coach, Stefano Pioli, has to work harder to get new players who are more talented and stronger this season. The arrival of several new players so far is quite a breath of fresh air for AC Milan, they are quite good. Hopefully it really suits AC Milan's coach and playing style. Even though it might not be as strong as the other clubs anymore.
AC Milan though were unable to win a major trophy last season, but I think they had a not-so-bad overall performance last season.
The club has added significant players to their squad in this summer transfer window thereby making their team a more stronger team than the one they had last season. AC Milan if you ask me would have a good season come the 2023/24 season.
4210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 20, 2023, 10:26:58 PM
In this case he has already said that the season 2024/2025 will be his last season at Manchester City and given how he emphasized his "no, no, no" when he was asked whether it is possible that he will extend his contract again, I believe this time he will leave the club no matter what happens. Although I hope that he doesn't because he fits very well into the club. Many things will change when one day Ancelotti, Mourinho and Guardiola will be gone and who knows for how long Klopp will be around. Thinking about it, those guys have contributed a lot in their own ways to the sport.
I am not entirely sure though, I feel like if they keep up being this good, maybe he could stay a little longer, not really sure if he will actually reject a good deal.

I mean if they keep being this good, City will offer a great deal for him without a doubt and rejecting it makes no sense to me. If he is looking for a new chapter in his life, then he could try to make that work as well, but that's not going to be simple so why change your life when you are already doing so well. Plus he established his roots there already, he is a young manager, and he could literally become an icon there. Think about it, if he stays for another 10+ more seasons, then they could have maybe another 10 titles, that's just unreal, SAF levels.

One option for him would probably be to coach the Spanish national team, but when you think that he isn't willing to turn down a good offer from an amazing club like Manchester City, think back what he turned down when the Barcelona bosses gave him carte blanche to write down his own salary in 2012 or so when he would decide to extend his contract back at the time. He had formed the best team in the world without a doubt and yet he decided to leave and go to Bayern. I mean when do you get a chance to have a combination of players like he had in Barcelona and yet he left. It's difficult but his words sound final. But I agree with you that we are not there yet.
Pep Guardiola is the perfect example of "When you know your worth, you decide how you'll be treated by people". The Spaniard since he started his coaching career hasn't been sacked even for once rather he decides when it best suits him to leave a certain club. Guardiola who is the most successful manager in the history of Manchester City will surely get as many years as he wishes to remain as the manager at the Etihad. However to the surprise of many, he might leave the Manchester club after next season
4211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | Qualifiers on: July 20, 2023, 10:18:37 PM
these UEFA Conference League games are very unpredictable for me and that's why I haven't been placing bets on them, as they are strange teams so I have a lot of difficulties to get information about them on the internet, I tried to analyze some teams, but I got tired because I didn't find much information, at least I didn't find the information I wanted, but today, watching news on the channels in Portuguese, I saw the video of the ST Patrick game against Diddeleng in which Diddeleng won the game and went to another stage, so that I saw on tv was a very disputed game with 5 goals, and Diddeleng managed to score 3 goals in this game while ST Patrick managed to score 2 goals in this game

well, what made me laugh the most when i was watching highlights of this game, was this part:

source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khV2-g9S8mI

 Grin

I had to go to youtube to be able to show here in this thread the moment that made me laugh a lot, man if you look at the video you will see that when Didier Desprez, Dudelange's goalkeeper, headed the ball and the ball went into the goal, people took it and started celebrating in a way that seemed to be laughing at his mistake, I saw the video many times and I can't stop laughing every time I see this video, without a doubt it will be something that will make you laugh for many years, it was a serious mistake and funny.
The UEFA Conference League competition having been the third tier of European club competitions would definitely spring up scenes like the one in this video.
The quality of players in the competition can never be compared to that of their counterparts in the Champions League and Europa League. So it's expected to see such dramatic moments
4212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 20, 2023, 10:12:19 PM
That's why I believe Manchester City won't lose much form even if they have to let Ilkay Gundogan go to Barcelona. Manchester City have plenty of quality players to replace Ilkay Gundogan in their squad, but Kovacic will also fill that role as expected. We still don't know how Manchester City will form next season, but they won't change much.

Some of the players brought in during the transfer market will make them even stronger, that includes defense as well as midfield. I also think that Manchester City will build a better squad and will add some important players in the middle of next season. So far their huge investment has paid off, but they can't afford to let more players leave without someone to replace them.
Manchester city will not own a big influence on their performance next season after Gundogan departure. Manchester City have a lot of quality players in the team so their squad depth is still quite strong next season. Kovacic can still be expected to be the right successor to carry out the tasks left by Gundogan. On the front side Manchester City has a pretty aggressive stikers and we will not doubt their strength in the next season.

We see Manchester City in the Premier League are still strong enough to say that they are candidates for the title. It will be difficult for other teams to sever on Manchester City positive trend in the Premier League next season. Manchester City have now managed to get a second player in this transfer window where Josko Gvardiol reportedly has agreed all the conditions to join Manchester City.
Manchester City for a fact has lost few of their players that helped the club win treble last season but that doesn't stop them from being the strongest English Premier League club at the moment.
After the departure of IIkay Gundogan, he was replaced with former Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic and which I think is a perfect replacement and now that Riyad Mahrez is gone City still possess squad that's capable of winning as much as they won last season
4213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 20, 2023, 10:05:32 PM
La Liga first match will play on Augustus 13 but Real Madrid still not sign replacement for Karim Benzema position, after Benzema departure Madrid still difficult sign top center forward although rumor with Mbappe and Harry Kane but four weeks left before La Liga will play still can't sign them. Have one center forward as Joselu is not enough for Real Madrid actually have play in many competition next season and Ancelotti have find back up position for Joselu.

Actually, Joselu is not on higher level to be first choose because less experienced with top teams and he hasn't any special performance although last season success scored 15 goals with Espanyol.
Real Madrid without Benzema is like a spear that has lost its sharpness, but they are currently have Joselu and I think we have to give this guy a chance to prove his quality. Also Real Madrid first match in new season is against Bilbao, there is a possibility for Real Madrid will not lose points, because Real Madrid is not lost other main strikers I mean Vini and Rodrygo are still in the Real Madrid squad. But yeah, to play in the Europa big events, Real Madrid must have a new more experienced striker, Mbappe is a good option but at the moment him situation is not clear.

Real Madrid will perform well even without mbappe because, as we all know, the majority of the team is still present. With this lineup, real Madrid is likely to have a successful season next year. This lineup includes Rodrigo, Camavinga, Valverde, Modric, Kroos, and Vini Jr. I think that if these players are still part of Real Madrid, their performance will be impressive. Although I am aware that a team's striker may have a significant impact, it is impossible to compare Joselu to Karim Benzema. However, if Vini Jr. and the other team can make a positive contribution to the team's assist game, Joselu will do his best.

It would be better if Real Madrid stopped worrying about signing Mbappe this season because PSG has already started to control him and no matter how hard Mbappe tries, he doesn't have the right to leave a team when there isn't any negotiation because PSG also bought him and will want to sell it for whatever price they please.

Before the arrival of Erling Haaland at Manchester City, the club was very good but was lacking a world class striker who would always convert their goal chances and it was because of lack of a world class striker that they lost to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi finals in 20221/22 season. It was after the arrival of Haaland that the team found the perfect shape it deserves.
Karim Benzema has been Real Madrid's goal poacher since the Cristiano Ronaldo left the club and if Madrid fails to get someone that'll replace him after his departure,   Madrid would definitely feel the effect despite the fact that they have a great squad already.
4214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: July 20, 2023, 09:58:42 PM

Inter Miami got 4 ex Barcelona players and are looking really good for the rest of the games but i honestly doubt they can reach the playoffs with not many games left. They would need to win almost all of their games to try and get that last position that leads to the playoffs
I wonder if there is a reason only players that Messi has played in Barcelona are being brought to the MLS to join him. Because these are players that he has played with before, they should all have no problems getting used to each other again and being able to play as one team to win the competition as they have done before during their time in Spain. For the supporters of inter Miami it is a good season ahead to hope that their team does better with Lionel Messi and go ahead to win the MLS.
To me, I think there's a deep mutual relationship between Inter Miami and the Spanish giants Barcelona which has hugely played a part in making former Barcelona players join the Major League Soccer club.
The presence of Lionel Messi alone at the club will definitely make the league more popular than it was meaning that the further signing of his former teammates brings more global audience to the league
4215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 20, 2023, 09:51:52 PM
Barcelona former Jordi Alba have reached done deal for joining with Inter Miami and good reunion because Sergio Busquest and Lionel Messi have been there early. Too early for Jordi Alba ended his career with top Europe teams because Atletico Madrid rumor interest for signing him but his decision for leaving Europe teams due his age still 34 years old. It is possible that there was Messi's influence that made Jordi Alba prefer to join Inter Miami instead of staying in La Liga with Atletico Madrid.

Could be Barcelona mini due starting line up in Inter Miami, there are still has rumor with several barcelona former will join Inter Miami from Iniesta and Luis Suarez. What do you think about Jordi Alba final decision for playing with MLS League? its right choose or not due he has capacity for playing with top European team.

I think Alba could play a few more years in Europe. It was an early US adventure for him. Still, it will be fun for him to play alongside Messi and Busquets. I think his salary will be good enough as well. The USA is already one of the most beautiful places to live, especially Miami. I think they're trying to build an ambitious roster for the MLS title.
Not sure about Iniesta and Suarez. Iniesta was playing in Japan, I follow him occasionally. He's old enough to retire. Maybe he can play one more season. Suarez could play 2-3 more seasons at MLS level. They make a very good squad. People will definitely watch their matches.
Over the years, Joldi Alba has given out his best for Barcelona and has been one of the most consistent full backs in Europe and now that he's moved to the Major League Soccer, I think he better knows his reasons.
Alba is 34 years of age already and definitely wouldn't produce the kind of performances he was known for at Barcelona which is why I think it is a good decision to leave with his head held high
4216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 20, 2023, 09:43:56 PM
in fact PSG had to face a bad period without their flagship player and indeed had to find ways to improve PSG performance without the presence of Mbappe and Messi. Neymr was physical disturbed because of the injury him had experienced, which influence Neymr performance to look good next season.
are you sure you have any thought on wishing Kane would join PSG? I do not think so. maybe you say a much better team because PSG finance are very good but its not about money but about the career and loyalty of Harry Kane who is comfortable in his current team.

the transfer window is near closing and if there is no PSG interest in replace Messi and Mbappe it will be a rough summer for Enrique.
I still think that they are going to be the best team in all of France when Mbappe leaves. They are a rich club and it would not be a problem for them to make more money neither, they are very rich so it is not really an issue for them and they will do fine.

I hope that they do not really do anything crazy, because that would not be nice for their end game, but if they end up realizing that this Mbappe deal was a wrong one, at least they learned something from that and could end up doing better. I have to say it is very terrible for them to just put the trust of the whole club into a single player, and when this type of thing happens, they are left without that. So, next time they will do a lot better in the future when rebuilding.
Paris Saint Germaine we remain the strongest team in French Ligue 1 even without the presence of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Mauro Icardi who was on loan to Galatasaray is back to the team coupled with few new signings including Spanish international and former Real Madrid winger Marcos Asensio.
I think PSG's main concern now is to find out the best football formation and style that'll bring out the best from these players and if the can achieve that then they'll be a big force both domestically and in Europe

I think the continuation of this thread is getting far from the original post, title, and agenda. You see, that is why gambling is called the courage sport. Only the strong prevail. If you are not prepared to lose psychologically, mentally, and financially. Even if the game is not starting yet, you're more likely to lose. It's not only your money that is your betting with. It's also your hope. So when you lose, you also lose some part of yourself. It is a sport because in this game winning and losing is a normal part of the game. For entertainment? probably. to make money? Sure! but only for those who are disciplined and responsible gamblers.

Gambling with your hope such that when you lose, you lose emotionally and physiologically is not a welcome development.
I see that so many people preach that we should take gambling as a fun but in practice only few people do that.
In practice the real definition of gambling foe fun is when money is not involved. Immediately money is involved, emotion is attached to I.

In the world to day gambling is leading instead of BitcoinBTC (crypto currency) and more are still wanting to join gambling because the minimum age to gamble is 18+ and lot of upcomings are waiting and this is the total amount of gamblers, so let's talk about the crypto currency (Bitcoin) we all know that Bitcoin is a good investment and it has changed a lot in the crypto world but the interesting part is that the numbers of Bitcoin investors can't be compared to gamble and my question is Why? or  is the risk involved in Bitcoin higher than gambling risk?

At first, it is not fine to directly compare gambling to bitcoin investment. The former is seen mostly as an irresponsible act while the later can give prestige to the investor.
Talking about why gambling has more fans or gaining new comers than the later. The answer is simple.
Bitcoin is less than 15 yrs old
Gambling should be as old as the world
Gambling is rooted while Bitcoin is seeking breakthrough.

The Onana deal is finally completed for Man Utd then. I’m not too sure how much of an upgrade he will be on De Gea, he is prone to making big mistakes. It will take a lot more to make them genuine title challengers.

The signing of Gvardiol really strengthens the defence of City. They are losing Gundogan, Mahrez, Kyle Walker & possibly Bernardo Silva. It could be an open title race this season.
I am not seeing Onana as coimg as an upgrade to De Gea. Just as De Gea came and laid hi own legacy and not that of Van der Sar.
I have watched the clips of Onana and two things I am impressed about him are
  • His confidence
  • His ability to use his feet
I also have to acknowledge that Onana is not without some errors. Sometimes his over confidence leads to some errors.
But with cautioning from Eric, he will stop some frivolous acts.

Yes self control  is a must in the world of gambling as we all know that every time we bet there's a greediness will come to our self that  dictate us to bet more and more even though we are encountered many losses which pretty bad once we loss and bet more then loss again. So it's better to have self control for the sake of addiction because once we don't have self control then addiction can take over us easily.

Gamblers can make the decision to have self-control or not in gambling, they have to be conscious of the way they gambles not to affect their physical and mental life and people around them, it's not something that should be expected seing that people are always complaining of our gambling lifestyle, we have to be very careful not to constitute the irresponsible gamblers around making it so discouraging being a gambler.
It is not only about gambling, in every sphere of Life whatever thing you do you need to have self control and at least at a particular time, you need to have self appraisal to see if you are making progress or you are heading the wrong way. Most gamblers does not have time to re-evaluate their life and their spending habits. It is only when it has gotten to an extreme that they will understand that they have deviated. That is why married people should always make their wives know about their spending habits, especially gambling if it is possible because it is the wife that he moderate them when they are going extreme.
