Maybe that's what the player wanted. I think this decision was made in a centralised way, the management discussed it with the player himself and stood on his side without interfering. In fact, if it really was like that, it is a very favourable departure from the club. What's more, he will be no worse off at barcelona, staying at the same level
Apart from being very profitable for the club, Gundogan himself also has nothing to lose by leaving for a big club like Barcelona because he didn't go to a bad club. Gundogan can still have a very good career at Barcelona at a level that is not much different from before so that Barcelona will also benefit enough to have Gundogan next season. Because that will make Barcelona stronger to compete with other English teams when they meet in the UCL competition.

I agree with you. He is a very good midfielder, he has relatively good stats and what's more, he was a bargain for Barcelona. Such a free reinforcement (not including wages) is incredibly good, so hopefully he can fulfil himself in Spain as well. Nevertheless, I think they are still weak for the Champions League

With the Gvardiol addition Manchester City defense line will be much more secure surely. The deal is soon to become official between sides. He is only a 21-year-old defender maybe but his performance tells us the opposite. It makes me feel like he is already a quality experienced defender. Mostly this much young defenders are prone to making simple mistakes often.

But Gvardiol is really different. He is great at keeping a balance in his game and this is another attracting point for Manchester City. It wouldn't be surprising to see him in the starting lineup in a short time after his joining the team as well.
Sure, Gvardiol is a quality defender, he probably makes Man City defense stronger for the next season. I think it won't be difficult for him to adapt with Man City play style since Man City has great coach and top players in every line. They will help Gvardiol to adapt as soon as possible, I'm optimistic he can show his best since his debut with Man City.

You're right, he is still young (21 years old). But if we learn his performance so far, he looks like experienced enough and play quite consistently. I never saw he ever did very poor mistakes in his career. So, nothing that we must be afraid about him, he is an ideal defender for Man City future.

True, there was an issue that Manchester City was hit by financial fair play violations from 2009-2018, but now there is no longer this issue. When it comes to Pep Guardiola wanting to leave in 2025, it is very interesting if he is looking for new challenges. Once he came close to winning a Treble with Bayern Munich, but now the only other challenge left for him in club football is to win another Treble in either Germany, Italy, or France.

But I feel that if Pep Guardiola leaves he will move to PSG or to Serie A to see if he can do the impossible and win the champions league for them. If he wins the Italian and French leagues he will be the only winner of the top five leagues under Ancelotti. On the other hand when he left England two years later. He will forever be remembered as Man City's finest manager.

I concur to your statement but I think he'll want to stay for a season or two more before leaving England since he's already had a Treble with them and winning about 5 Premier league trophies since he arrived in 2016 in Manchester City, I believe he's going to depend the trophy this season and try to prove himself as the greatest coach in England after Sir Alex Ferguson of Manchester United, he's trimed his squads by letting go of some world class players that made it possible for them to be crowned the UEFA Champions League Winner so therefore I thinking defending it is not going to come easy though they'll have a great performance and could participate in another final again.

Anyways Pep is a great coach and is not scared of facing new challenges so there's a tendency that may seize to be the Manchester City coach after this season, I feel he'll prefer moving to France than Italy or Germany again, he has the winning, mentality, tactics and ability to scout and transform veteran players into world class so he'll want to join a club that would listen to his demands and back him up with funds like Manchester City did and PSG would be the rightful club capable of doing that, they'll be willing to get him at the snap of a finger as far a he declares his intentions to leave City, because he's a coach capable of giving them an opportunity of lifting the champions league trophy which they are desperately in need of.

I don't believe Guardiola would want to change teams. Everything is fine with the Manchester City team at the moment. He is the boss of this team. The players respect him a lot. I'm sure we'll see a few more great seasons. If he goes to another team one day, it could be Barcelona.
I also still really want to see Pep Guardiola train Manchester City and still haven't thought about which team he will go to in the future, because Manchester City is now more suitable for how to train Pep Guardiola so that the team will definitely continue to work with Pep Guardiola in the long term as long as the team can continue to be at a better level in the seasons to come.

I would agree as well. No club would have made a mistake signing Gundogan, saving the transfer fee and if it costs a bit more salary, that's still good. But in order for them to become a Champions League title contender, I think they will need more top class players. Lewandowski is again a year older (surprisingly Tongue), but maybe the experience from last season helps the younger talents to grow and be able to compete with the best, but despite the fact that Real Madrid became 2nd last season, I think Barcelona has more issues to be resolved.

It is very possible that the coach of Manchester city will like to take up a new challenge in a new league with a new club, trying to lead them to win the champions League the local League as he has done in Barcelona and Manchester city. Since he became the coach of Manchester city, he has raised the status of the club from the regular club to a world-class club and many clubs will be privileged to have Guardiola as their coach. I do not see him as someone who will like to be the coach to a national team.
Yes, it's possible, but not now but maybe later after a few seasons.
Pep Guardiola has a strong desire to stay at Manchester City and make himself a better coach than some of the others. I tend to think he would be very good to keep for a truly competitive Premier League, but the decision is up to him.

It's up to Pep Guardiola to go where, but I'm sure Pep Guardiola isn't going anywhere in a few seasons. Pep also has the chance to improve his successful record at Manchester City because he has a good squad, but of course he can leave at any time for any reason.

The next surprise is likely to be a bit controversial, there have been rumors Pep Guardiola will leave the club after successfully bring Manchester City to the top of the Premier League and ucl, yes although I hope that never happens. But Pep's past at Barcelona became a reference where he left Barca when the team was experience great success because it win various competitions.

I have also read something like that about Guardiola thinking about leaving City in upcoming years but honestly I don't believe in it. Guardiola has a great team and top class facilities that any manager wish for and he has everything there. I don't think of any reason other than becoming of sick of winning but I feel that since they have won their first CL, Guardiola will push for more and I feel he will stay at City for more years. People like Guardiola go on in search for challenges and I don't think there is much of challenges left to explore after LaLiga, Bundesliga and PL now.
Guardiola will end up leaving Manchester City by the end of his contract or a couple of years later or if he sees that managing a national team might be interesting for him, if the offer was interesting eventually
Looking at his track record in coaching, this is actually not something that is surprising for Pep because he must have gone looking for something new.
Examples of some previous cases when he was at Barcelona and Bayern. When Pep has got what he wants then he will definitely leave when his contract expires and so it is now.
Actually when looking at things like this, Pep is also planning to leave even from the previous season only he can still be held back but when his contract is over it is difficult to hold back and indeed he will definitely leave.

Despite that, he will still be honored and start his career with a new club or team and there could be a national team offer for him in the end.

All the club presidents of European football must have paid attention to the figure of this extraordinary coach (Pep Guardiola). He was always able to raise the reputation of the club he coached. So it is not surprising that many clubs want the services of this coach. Offer after offer, of course many will come to Pep, but of course none of that will be published because it's a private business. And at this time, of course, Pep Guardiola is still under contract with Man City. But when the contract runs out, I think it's also possible that Pep Guardiola will leave Man City.

But I'm pretty sure this season Pep Guardiola will definitely want to set a new record for the Man City club. I'm curious about the upcoming season. Will Man City continue to be a scary club or will another club appear unexpectedly able to compete with Man City?

Pep Guardiola can leave Manchester City anytime when his contract is up but I don't think he will leave them soon so he will extend his contract. Manchester City still really want to keep him and give him a lot of support, especially the budget and various things, but all decisions depend only on Pep Guardiola.

Pep Guardiola has turned Manchester City into the most fearsome team in the Premier League. They also dominate the Premier League with a number of titles, and it's great that Pep Guardiola has presented Manchester City's first Champions League title last season. A new record will be set, but Guadiola will definitely have to work hard on it.

Man City certainly wants to continue to employ Pep Guardiola and of course Man City will do anything to continue to make Pep Guardiola feel at home coaching Man City. Last season, Pep Guardiola actually signed a new contract that extended his coaching period at Man City until 2025. And from several sources it was also stated that Pep Guardiola is still comfortable at Man City and he will last longer at this club.

Pep is still 52 years old so his coaching career is still quite long. So it might not be easy for us to guess where else he wants to go. does he want to have a new challenge or does he want to build a long history with Man City. and yes you are right all that is in the hands of Pep Guardiola. Only he can decide which way his career will go.

All the club presidents of European football must have paid attention to the figure of this extraordinary coach (Pep Guardiola). He was always able to raise the reputation of the club he coached. So it is not surprising that many clubs want the services of this coach. And at this time, of course, Pep Guardiola is still under contract with Man City. But when the contract runs out, I think it's also possible that Pep Guardiola will leave Man City.

Pep Guardiola has become a very important person and is also highly valued by Manchester City, because Manchester City itself has also seen how a Pep Guardiola made a very extraordinary comeback for the team so that the team was able to get three important trophies last season and this indicates that Pep Guardiola is really very serious in training the Manchester City team in order to be able to win the championship they have always wanted.

In terms of performance and achievements given, it is clear that Manchester City will continue to try to keep Pep in his contract but on the other hand Pep is one of the coaches who has his own level of desire. He will continue to try at several big clubs until his targets are achieved, once his targets and desires are achieved then there is no real reason to stay and that he has always done at several clubs before.

He was very successful at Barcelona even with his Sextuple but he went to Bayern even though he failed in the Champions League but he managed to bring Bayern very successful and now at Manchester City. Pep's target of getting the Champions League and Treble this season has actually satisfied him and there is nothing to look for anymore so he decided not to extend the contract at Manchester City.

Guardiola will end up leaving Manchester City by the end of his contract or a couple of years later or if he sees that managing a national team might be interesting for him, if the offer was interesting eventually

I don't believe Guardiola would want to change teams. Everything is fine with the Manchester City team at the moment. He is the boss of this team. The players respect him a lot. I'm sure we'll see a few more great seasons. If he goes to another team one day, it could be Barcelona.
Pep Guardiola won't be returning to Barcelona, in my opinion. Returning there won't happen because he has previously coached there and won league titles for them.
The decision to leave Barcelona after his contract expired without being renewed was made by him.
He may choose to extend his contract with Manchester City after it expires in 2025, or he may decide to accept a coaching position with another team. Pep Guardiola would like to create historical history. He may be eager to take his coaching career to a new level(league) in order to leave his mark there like he has in Laliga and the Premier level.

Rasmus Hojlund is quite expensive, his market value is €50 Millions, I think Manchester United need to spend  €50-60 Millions. His performance in Atalanta wasn't that good, but his performance in Denmark is quite good and he's still 20 years old, so there's a potential he could develop become a great player.

Manchester United need a new striker, they always lack of striker and Rashford is forced to play in this position.

His price doesn't matter a lot for manchester united. MU is still having enough time to raise money from selling its players. I see no option for MU other than selling some useless players like meguire to buy hojlund from atalanta.

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manutd-takeover-live-jassim-hojlund-30410500

I think that if MU shall sell some players. The club is now in the need recruiting a new striker. Ten Hag no longer trusts Greenwood, and Hojlund has become a new option.. There are so many parties who told greenwood to leave from the club as soon as possible to secure his career in professional football. In my opinion that if we will be seeing dynamic situation in manchester united. There are so many players are still uncertain about their future.

MU shall not force rashford to play as central striker again. The club really needs a new striker. Hojlund is the best choice for manchester united right now.

This Danish forward is really talented and I'm sure Manchester United can invest in this player for the next years because Hojlund is a 20y old player and he had a good performance in Atalanta.
However other than Manchester United, this player is also linked to PSG.

One cannot tell if he has something like that in mind in the future, coaching a national team. We all know how Guardiola is full of action day in day out, by joining a national team to coach them will limit him on some great plan of action he’s always into throughout the season. As an adventurous coach, he might like to have a taste of the national team too, but for now, I think he’s still in his prime and will want to add more trophies to his name before considering coaching a national team now. No doubts many national teams will want him to coach their side, but he’ll be very skeptical on the final decision he’ll make on the team to coach. Which team do you think he’ll coach if he’s to coach a national team??

The Red Devils had better be convincing with their offer to Atalanta. But I think they will start with a much lower fee then the amount Atalanta expects classically. But the Red Devils really need a striker as there is only Martial if we think Rashford as playing on his wing.

Actually in today's football 50 million euros for a player isn't that expensive. Especially if that player has a good potential for the future I mean. Besides if the team to pay that amount are rich then they wouldn't even be affected very badly in terms of finances. Manchester United are one of the rich teams of course.

50-60 million euros wouldn't be found enough by Atalanta most probably. I heard that they could ask for 80 million. It feels like the Red Devils can find a middle way at 65-70 million euros to finish this deal. However do they really want him that much? We will see that.

The Red Devils had better be convincing with their offer to Atalanta. But I think they will start with a much lower fee then the amount Atalanta expects classically. But the Red Devils really need a striker as there is only Martial if we think Rashford as playing on his wing.

Rasmus Hojlund might be a very good striker but his kind of quality isn't what Manchester United needs at the moment. They need a world class striker that'll be strong enough to take come to the English Premier League and start delivering immediately just like Erling Haaland did when he arrived Manchester City last summer.
Unless they want to have a season to regret, Manchester United must as a matter of urgency get a good striker

Man United will have to move fast if they want to sign Hojlund because PSG seems quite serious in pursuing Hojlund. The price set by Atalanta is quite high, but I think it's still a good investment considering Hojlund is still very young and he also looks to have good potential.

With that amount of money, it cannot be ensured that all football players can get such an expensive price. 50 million euros still have to look at the condition of the players they want to buy. As long as they have good performance and don't have a bad record when on the field, it will be easy to get that price and has the potential to get more, but if someone has a record of bad behavior on the field, this price will not be easy to get.
