4201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the best gambling games originally from Asia? on: August 02, 2019, 03:55:00 AM
Cockfighting did not originate in Philippines so I don't think this is in the list.

Where this type of game originated then?

Did search in google and it stated here that it was brought by Magellan in the Philippines and that started the popularity of the cock fighting.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cockfight

I wish we can bet online in this type of game
4202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: August 01, 2019, 08:20:45 AM
Floyd's undefeated record vs Manny Pacquiao's 8 division belt, which do you think is harder to accomplished?  Grin.

There’s a lot of undefeated boxer in the history of boxing like Julio Cesar Chavez SR with having a standing of 89 wins and 0 losses, but until he makes a total of 115 fights before he retired 6 of that fights he got defeated. Still he accomplished more than from what Mayweather accomplished today.

You are right, mayweather thought being an undefeated would make him an automatic great fighter or a GOAT.

Manny Pacquiao was the only 8 division world boxer and a truly living Legend. Cheesy

That record will kill mayweather's undefeated record as only Manny has done that, he is a living legend who still fight champions at 40 years old.
4203  Economy / Speculation / Re: WO Replies vs Bitcoin Tracking - Q1/Q2/Q3/Q4 - 2019 on: August 01, 2019, 08:05:40 AM
WO thread replies just definitely follow with the price action of bitcoin, just like this forum entirely when bitcoin is bearish, there's less people that are active and sign ups compared to when the situation is bullish.

If the thread replies and price of bitcoin has some relevance in prediction the crypto market, I would love to be educated.
4204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is better Government run Lottery or private run Lottery on: July 31, 2019, 10:58:16 AM
Private or public are i think both the same because if its private , the officials can fully pocket the money because they arent monitored anymore and if its a government based , there will always be a corrupt official that will pocket some of those cash  and will only remit the 1/2 or th 3/4ths of the collected funds .  however government based have some benefits in which they provide help for the poor using some of those funds but private is i think dont have any benefit from others
If this is private there is no corruption because the government is only after the tax they will get in this profitable business, but since it's the government that is running their own lottery, it's expected that corruption exist because in general, politics in the Philippines are corrupt and that's the reason why it was temporary halted.

What the Philippine government should do is to impose a strict penalty on corrupt officials, a death penalty maybe harsh but if that will solve a rampant corruption, I would not be against it.
4205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 31, 2019, 10:45:42 AM
Also, it might be a quicker negotiation this time if Floyd and Manny decide yes on the rematch.
Pacman would accept this rematch, he is publicly expressing his interest when ask during interview, but unfortunately, it's Floyd who is not interested and we can't expect it will be possible when only one is interested.

Manny should move on and look for other fighter, floyd is good but not entertaining to watch.

I think that is what Manny is doing now, he will just take a rest and see how the landscape of the welterweight division after six months. He has proven it already this year so it's time for him to take a breather and see what options is better for him next year, probably a defense of his belt or to challenge someone for unification.
Manny is aiming for more fights while he can still fight, if he will have a fight next year, that time he will be 41 years old and I'm afraid he will slow down.
Though he won against Thurman but I'm sure his possible next opponent will see some weakness of Manny in that fight and they'll focus on that weakness if ever they are given a chance to fight.

If Thurman were able to stay aggressive in the early rounds, he might have snatched a win because Manny got tired in the later rounds.
4206  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm down. on: July 29, 2019, 03:06:49 PM
The market is still healthy as it looks even the price is still at a low. The market resistance isn't that strong to make it more pumps than of sloping price trend. Though it looks like that and it is not a reason why we have to lose of hope instead of being motivated enough and stay positive.

It is something could surprise us in the next quarter (as I think). What it did last BER season will probably be seeing it again.
4207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: July 26, 2019, 11:38:44 PM
We don't need a bull run for adoption, we need a constant growth.

Bull run is most likely cause only of hype or FOMO and it will not last, and then again we will witness a bear market after that.
Adoption that is slow and steady is better than a bull run cause by FOMO, and that could only be possible when the regulation is set properly so institutional money could come in.
4208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The only safe haven currency is Bitcoin on: July 26, 2019, 10:18:53 PM
I monitor bitcoin easily changing and the price can change at any time, the government does not dare to legalize bitcoin, the government considers bitcoin property and not currency.
That needs to be changed cause it is far from a reason why it was created, supposedly it gonna be used as a currency but people often to consider this as an asset/investment. Anyway, there is something to consider why it never uses as a currency in some areas instead just because it never been supported by their government and don't have establishments accepted crypto as a mode of payment. They'll have nothing to do but to convert it into fiat before they can use it.
4209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Adoption Over Bull Run on: July 26, 2019, 10:00:53 PM
It has nothing we do with the adoption, it is one of crypto features and people make it as a tool to have a huge market gain than they want for a stabilizing market. It might be of high risk but because of its volatility but we have to understand the thing that we can't make a change of it.
4210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 26, 2019, 03:50:37 PM
not sometimes, bounty campaigns are like gambling. we cannot know the success of the payment we will receive. if we are lucky, then we can get a really good quality project. but luck will not come, even more projects that pay very improperly to their campaign participants.
You have to think about it upon joining bounties and then to expect that not all of them get successful with their project.  We can't say that luck is on bounties but it is a matter of choice and it is sad that you've been choosing those project that aren't look promising or not legit. Of course,it don't have future and don't ever think that you can make money with them.
4211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin is starting to weaken, is it now the right time to invest? on: July 26, 2019, 02:52:53 PM
I don't think that this is the right place to talk about Bitcoin and its price speculations since we are in altcoins.

But anyway, looking forward to seeing this leading coin in the market gains more support and investors. Cause I don't see that holding is enough to make price recover but it absolutely is needing more users and investors to help it move faster and lifted from the dip. It is not impossible to happen if we all give our support.
4212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting ready to buy! on: July 26, 2019, 02:29:34 PM
What do you guys think? Bitcoin at 9400$ right know
yes, now bitcoin has started to raise prices again, and I hope the increase will be followed by other altcoins, but there are not many altcoins that rise to higher prices, my hope is that in the near future, the altcoins I have will rise again , like the bitcoin the price of which is now back up.
This is what really the market shows us where everything seems to be unpredictable and even our TA's where getting wrong.
As we look into the market today, the resistance is coming back by then and will have to make a move before we miss this shot. Looking forward to make another market break and we end up this year at high.
4213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Prevent been a crypto addict. on: July 26, 2019, 02:04:35 PM
honestly, it is getting serious that most people spend over 18 to 19 hours these days on systems and mobile phones watching the market, trading on the move with their mobile. the addiction is getting out of hand. i think i am probably getting into this kind of life.
what could be the possible means of prevention. i need to have my normal life back.
if you are addicted to something that is very difficult to get out from that that is the fact also if you want to get out from that you need the support from the other persons who supports you that is the very useful way for you to get out from that.
We can make it for sure if we want to step out from hell. Actually, we can make it by ourself, only we need to open up our minds and think what went wrong on our self..It sometimes we are just blinded by the truth and we never realize it until someone could tell us where we are.
4214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: No withdrawal on Binance! Is Binance new HitBTC? on: July 25, 2019, 09:28:33 AM
Binance is the most popular exchange in the crypto space, I can vouch based on my experience that they don't hold withdrawals.
However, users have different experience and you might be in a different situation.

That seems to be scary as they've require you a KYC in the form of video, honestly, I thought there's something you must have violated with the rules.
if you feel you are the one who are violated here, feel free to make a scam accusation.
4215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run 2019-2020 on: July 25, 2019, 09:18:17 AM
2019 and 2020 is the market for bull market the real market consolidation just started so we can expect market to bounce back to previous all time prices by this year end we may see new bull cycle which may cross previous all time prices
It will sure not gonna come easily, we are also challenge with the sudden pump and dump but let's just look at the overall performance of the market, and then we will realize that the market is already bullish.
4216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 25, 2019, 09:07:13 AM
Oh that will be very advantageous for Giannis to learn from one of the best shooters we have in the NBA. And we all know that Giannis weak point is his shooting although we have seen him taken 3's last season. But he needs more improvement, follow thru and what a way to learn from Kyle Korver himself.

Giannis needs to have a decent outside shooting percentage. It does not necessarily need to be 3 points. He just needs to make the defense spread out so that he has a better chance to penetrate.

Yeah, I mean outside shooting and not necessarily 3's. But during their games against Toronto, he was trying his 3's that's why it stuck on my mind. He also needs to improved his FT shooting as well, if I'm not mistaken his percentage is around 70%-80%. So that area is also critical specially if it mean making the FT in order to win those close games.

It would certainly take time for him to improve and to become a complete player, what the team needs right now is someone who can play as high as his level so they will not be easy to be predicted as a team. All their opponent has to do is to stop or if not, limit Giannis, and the team can't win.
That is the keyword, make him a complete player, Giannis strength is on open court so if there's no fastbreak then it will be difficult for him to score unless he has the shooting touch. So let us see if he can improved, not expecting a big improvement but at least he has the confidence to shoot, unlike last season wherein sometimes he is hesitant to take the shot even if he is wide open.
The pressure is difference in the playoffs compared to the regular season, and because he has limited to offer to the team, he was scouted well and the team were not able to adjust. We shall see next season, with the current line up of the East, I think they have a chance of winning since Leonard was already out in the Raptors.
4217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You don't loose if you don't encash on: July 25, 2019, 04:05:35 AM
Personally, I'm struggling with that myself and I try to be consistent and not be emotional with my trading.

We can't avoid that, though we learn already from our previous mistakes but when difficult time comes we do struggle because we are just humans.
It is just important that every time we commit mistakes, we should try correct by not doing it again, try to be consistent controlling your emotion as no good strategy would work if you are not in charge with your emotion.
4218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: July 25, 2019, 03:58:55 AM
Bitcoin can be said is still foreign in my country, especially in the place where I live that has very little internet coverage, I hope that in the future everyone here will know bitcoin like me.
Your condition is the same as mine, in my country Bitcoin is still not can to fully accepted and the development of technology here is not as sophisticated as that of foreign countries. only some people adopt Bitcoin in my country, and the rest people know nothing about this currency.
In a large scale, we can weigh the adoption of crypto as like in the early stage, therefore it's not expected that all countries will accept crypto and we will a rampant usage on it. At this stage, bitcoin is mostly treated as a good investment that it's purpose to be a decentralized currency.

So I can say, that's already dude, sooner there will be some progress towards growth in your country.
4219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its time for altcoins as well on: July 24, 2019, 12:52:34 PM
Well, i really hope that there's time for the altcoins to move

My position has downsize almost 90% as even i am averaging down the alternative crypto portfolio of mine
But they never really move up against btc/eth, in terms USD yes
We can't close its future just because we saw it that they are dropping it hard but just because the community still believing it that altcoins can do better than of today. The market is still in the hard way to make more recoveries, thus it could still be affecting altcoins performance till then.
4220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB reach $50 This Year? on: July 24, 2019, 12:22:28 PM
This is not an instant play...yes BNB gains trust from the investors but it is not enough to push its price into the most high level.
We have only more than 5 months short and it is really hard to make BNB skyrocketing this year. It maybe for the next year to come.
