4201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is thinking about unbanning bitcoin mining after price rise on: October 27, 2021, 05:04:53 PM
Its so funny to think that after they ban crypto and spreading negative views, now they want to be part of crypto again. Lol maybe their digital currency didn't give them a good return after all the efforts that they invested in it such those criticism about crypto to obtain more attention around the internet wherein even they're a out of crypto and cannot influence the market anymore.lol  But obviously it's epic fail that's why they want to embrace it again.  Grin

I believe it is a bit of a marketing gimmick. This is because, since bitcoin has recently been used in illegal transactions, people will judge it immediately, and most people will not judge it until the price rises. It's ironic that they used to criticize it, but now they want to join in because they're looking for a good investment as well as passive income. It is similar to China in that as long as big money is involved, people's choices and thinking change. However, it is still speculation whether they will unban it, so let's wait and see.
4202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that airdrops never work ... on: October 27, 2021, 12:04:38 PM
Well... yeah, "that kind of proof". The airdrop is just a factor of many on how a token or coin will perform. They certainly create awareness and encourage people to open a wallet. Also they tend to create liquidity, admittedly sometimes the wrong kind of liquidity. However there is so much more to that to a successful project that stating that airdrops, in general, do not work would require a much in depth analysis.

Yes, you are correct, and to me, it's just "Meh." But, since 2015-2016, I believe there have been only a few airdrops (mostly to circulate and also to allow them to test their coin). At the time, a few airdrops were announced, and my friends and I wondered why they were giving money. I said this is garbage, but we tried it anyway, and lo and behold, we made money out of garbage! We were astonished at the time and decided to participate in airdrops, but they turned out to be a scam later on. There are also the newest it was FOX coin think which i earn from it.
4203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 09:52:44 AM
lets see how it goes just hope i can stop this slot gambling
Well, you played the wrong game. Slot is the most addicting casino game, therefore if you aren't used to the dopamine sensation, playing slots is a bad idea.
First, forgive yourself, and take the loss. Don't play if the reason is to win back the $20k. Then, if it's better to quit gambling completely, or if you can't do that, play with small bankroll and smallest bet only. Also, let your closest family take the control (can be partially) of your finance.
The problem with this is really controlling. I believe that the majority of games are extremely addictive, resulting in significant losses. Attempting to recoup your losses is also a bad idea, as I have personally experienced. Stopping is preferable to recouping your losses. Also, notify your family about it so that they can keep an eye on you if you become hooked to gambling.
4204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 27, 2021, 02:16:31 AM
Majority of us do really hate up KYC that's why its just really that part of common sense on which one you would really be preferring into and there are lots of options out there for you to take.

Its just understandable that you would really be complying verifications when you do deal with fiat bookies and none for those who are
crypto platforms which majority is been preferring into.

Your choice which one you would really like to deal with.
We don't like us being asked for KYC.

But when the casino where we're staying does, we have no option but just to take on it and go on with what they're asking for. Dealing with it is the only choice especially if you have big funds being there.

It's liked being hostage as I've read from someone telling how it's like he's being asked for KYC before touching his own money.

Accept this, and what will happen is that those gamblers who are too lazy to do KYC will go to another website that does not require KYC. However, if they do have funds in that website, we are usually forced to perform KYC. I know they will keep it private with data privacy, but I don't have 100 percent trust in that. Still, we don't have anything to do but do the KYC or transfer to another website, but as a lazy gambler, I usually transfer to another website because there are so many now.
4205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Genting Casinos awarded for their safer betting standards on: October 27, 2021, 01:37:25 AM
Which casino you think should be included in the list in the future?? Did you ever try and gamble there? I was not aware of these awards and I do believe these are an amazing way to show the appreciation and to show the responsibility that a casino might take to go beyond for it's users.
When it comes to awards or something like that  then it would really be varying on locale basis because not all places on the world would be having these

kind of ranking, recognition, awards on those services/platforms around.Whenever a business or establishment had able to attained such stuff then i could

say that this would be a good add up for them to at least boost up their reputation and popularity of course. When people do see these kind of awards
at least then that will leave out some positive impression.
Award for excellent may not necessarily be on world stage before the company can be recognized with good reputation brother but an award from a country can really serve the purpose because this award is not that type people used to buy or pay for but it actually based on merit, and that is a good unlike other gambling companies with bad reputation even here in the forum.
This isnt something that can be build up on a short span of time thats why gaining those awards and reputation and something like that will really be a good add up which would really be useful on building their name over time. There's no definite time on when you do achieve on things
but if they would really be that consistent on giving out the best experience on users in the market then they would really
be heading into that situation.

If they can sustain such award, it means, they are doing this as a long-term mission.
This will give them the edge over their competitors and showcase what they can offer to their gamblers.
If they are going beyond their regular responsibility, then, gamblers may even ask advice from the casino itself.
Very rare that you can see a casino extending assistance to their players.

Only a few companies do this, and they look after their customers or gamblers. Because they are exchanging both money and trust, this is also a good strategy and a healthy relationship between gamblers and casino owners. This is the most enjoyable gambling experience you've ever had. Most casinos are currently only concerned with the game and the experience of the game, and they have neglected to consider how they interact with gamblers and provide assistance, as you have stated.
4206  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 26, 2021, 04:32:40 PM
When you sell, is no longer yours. When you sell your bitcoin for more than you paid, you may be happy about it, but unless you have an investment to make or would like to buy something else, all you have left is... fiat. And fiat finds its way out of pockets very quickly.
Thats true, the reason why we have to think deeply before selling our precious bitcoin. If its not really necessary like there's no emergency, its better to just hold. Its easy to spend rather than to save hence be wise enough to think of the possible scenario before making a decision. Remember that regrets are always in the end and we cant turn back time to change what should not happened.
Many people regret selling their bitcoin because they are realizing it was an opportunity that appears only once in a lifetime, even if there are many opportunities that are good and that appear from time to time, like when you could invest in Google or Amazon for cheap, how many people actually invest in the stock market and have the money to do so? In the case of bitcoin anyone could buy it and at the beginning even an investment of 20 dollars was enough to change your life and now that they have sold their coins those people understand that if they come back to the market they will never have the same number of coins.

If we just take a chance. I could say that I am one of those people who is kicking themselves for not investing in bitcoin and stocks. When the price was low, I told myself that I should save and buy a bitcoin at that time, but money is still important to me, and every coin counts because we are poor and need money all the time. It's especially difficult if you don't have any spare cash. But if I truly take a chance, my return will make us wealthy. I wish I could go back in time and change things.
4207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 26, 2021, 11:13:07 AM
Nowadays we need to be careful when publicly admitting to owning Bitcoin. A lot of crypto traders have been receiving threats as in the case of Daniel one of the guys from Chart Champions.

Things are escalating as, apparently, a 14-year-old kid from England got kidnapped after bragging on social media posts about having lots of money made from trading cryptocurrencies.

That's why I don't like anyone to know I'm in the Crypto business.

I don't think that it was ever safe to make a coming out like that, people don't like what they don't understand, it makes them curious, but you never know their reaction, so simply say you're an accountant Grin

People also don't like it when others succeed. I'm not sure why, but I've noticed that if one of my friends gets a new car or other new possessions, they mock or bash him about it. When it comes to starting a business, they don't think about others; they only think about themselves. Right now, the best thing to do is to keep quiet and keep your head down. Previously, many people would be pleased if you shared your accomplishments, but now they will begin to criticize you.
4208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe BTC can be attacked? on: October 26, 2021, 07:00:22 AM
It will remain safe if we are able to keep it as good as possible and as private as possible, this of course depends on the Bitcoin owner how they manage and remember private keys, passwords, emails,.... also never entrust the wallets to anyone except the own family.
If we look at it in the outline... Bitcoin will be difficult to hack and the security level of the blockchain is still strong, did we experience various kinds of hacks so far? I think it's still a small possibility till now.
many people are careless when there is a phishing case, they are a lot tempted by what is offered, and have the desire to try it, and finally their data can be stolen. for the next of kin, I think we need to tell one of them for the private key, sometimes we don't know what will happen to us, so that if left, our family can still access the assets

Agree, phising is most likely the main reason why people are getting hacked without their knowledge. This is because they advertise or make people believe that their website is legitimate, and the other reason why you've been hacked is because you didn't use 2FA or other security measures. Yes, if you fall victim to phishing, but if you enable 2FA, the hacker will have a much more difficult time accessing your accounts, which is why it is so important. Invest in a hard wallet as well, as this is the safest way to safeguard your account.
4209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 25, 2021, 04:19:47 PM
I doubt that they know the result before the start of the match, most likely they make several predictions and then delete the unsuccessful ones. I think if you follow these channels more closely, you can catch them on this. All these scammers use the same algorithms. If they really knew something, they could profit from it without any sales of this information.

I know they would not sell it and profit from it, but there are some gambling tipsters who also promote them for the sake of either money or cross promotion. Using quick telegram users generation bots as an alternative, these tipsters make newbies to think that they are giving real fixed matches and helping their members earn the promised values which makes it easier for the owners of those channels to scam the innocent people.
That is the main reason it is 90% fraud if someone sends pm first on social media, Telegram users are a special target for scammers since they easily filter the groups and find potential victims. Fixed matches are sold for huge amount not for the few hundred dollars and it is usually known to buyers 15 min before the match according to real seller on Dark Web  I found once:)
Why do they reveal it so late? It shouldn't be easy to place big bets only 15 minutes before the beginning of the match, then it doesn't seem to worth such expensive prices. Moreover I don't think this kind of guy refund his customers if the expected outcome doesn't happen.
They put a lot of pressure on those who might be lured into a situation like this in a fixed match. It's sometimes a scam, especially when it's done on social media platforms like Telegram and Discord. As we can see, there are also plenty of random strangers who send you messages advertising giveaways and such, and it's the same with those people. Newbies will undoubtedly fall for this type of trick, and people will undoubtedly try it, particularly if they are looking for a quick win.

They will, without a doubt, attract newcomers to this. This is a trick for new users or newbies who want to earn quickly without having to work hard. What is the issue with the fixed match? The issue with the fixed match is that it involves a large sum of money that they will earn, as well as other bets where they are deciding to win the opposite team if all of the odds are higher than others. However, if a team is the underdog and the most professional, odds multipliers are now available in sports betting. We can't really do anything about fixed matches because we can't predict them.
4210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Price vs Iphone Price at launch on: October 25, 2021, 12:20:22 PM
We have seen that fact now that the price of bitcoin has gone up quite a lot since its launch in 2009 until now. We can compare it with many thing and of course it will be very interesting to ponder. I remember when I bought my first motorcycle in 2010 for $1,500, if I had bought bitcoin with the amount of money I spent on motorcycles then I believe I can now build a motorcycle factory. Of course very extraordinary, even bitcoin rose much higher than gold in the last 10 years.

Yeah and now bitcoin is getting noticed by the people. Way back it was launch it is only used to buy a pizza which other laugh and other belives on it. Fast Forward when the price is getting higher and higher people are getting into bitcoin and trusting it. Now the price is really high which almost people want to have a bitcoin and also invest on since they could earn money. The price really matter. On the other side it is a funny meme tho and we could say that some people are want to buy iphone than a bitcoin .
4211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money with BOTS or Copy Trading? on: October 25, 2021, 11:30:37 AM
Yeah I did with copy trading on Bityard. I’ve just followed some good traders out there with high percentage of winning but risky as well when it comes to stop loss rate. I followed the most popular trader before with great winning percentages, but his stop loss percentage was 90%.

However, we can just make some little profits here in copy trading, but depends on the trader we follow and the market situation as I believe these traders are using the futures trading method. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

I believe it is a small profit because you have a small capital, but if you have more, I believe it will be a large profit. Copy trading is great, but you still don't have control over your money. However, if you trust the person you've copied, it can be extremely profitable. Many of my friends copy trade because they don't have time or are too lazy to learn how to trade. They initially lost money but are now profiting. They only research top traders who have a good portfolio on a specific coin.
4212  Economy / Economics / Re: A tale of the two parasites on: October 25, 2021, 09:07:52 AM
...

It's become the norm to pit the rich against the poor, and create extreme animosity. The political revolutionists just want to get anyone they can on board to push whatever political agenda they can. Whatever display of moral virtue they may choose, those demonizing the rich with extreme vitriol do so out of their own self interest, which has profound irony within itself.

There are very wealthy people that exist who are horrible people, but owning wealth does not make you inherently evil or parasitic, and on the same note, being poor does not mean you are lazy either.

This is part of my point that some rich people also do make value to the poor when they have provided them with jobs either directly or through the contacts that they have with their friends Value is created even when you provide food or shelter only because by that time you have provided immediate needs for the poor and the household. Food, shelter are part of value , it gives life and only the living can acquire other values that are futuristic.

It is something the same with the parisite movie which the wealthy one is helping thos people in need by providing them jobs but instead they got greedy which they recommend their whole family in his job without knowing by their boss. The idea was really good but it makes you greedy in money and also wealth that could make people devilish
4213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with crypto??? on: October 24, 2021, 07:02:44 AM
Unfortunately, it is forbidden to pay with crypto in my country. We can invest in it, we can work on the crypto market, but we are not allowed to pay with it for any goods or services. But if I had such an opportunity, I would choose stable coins for it, as it is a stable asset and I would know exactly how muck I pay. What is more, I prefer holding Bitcoin, so it is rather an investment asset to me than a means of payment.

What country is this? I think it is something difficult this  because if the country will ban bitcoin completely meaning all sent, received and earning  is prohibited which mostly they do this on the banned the bitcoin in countries. But there are still people in the countries that they invest illegal and also in secret since the government will not know. I am glad that here in our country is they not banning bitcoin so it is good to us
4214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: October 24, 2021, 05:28:43 AM

I'm not sure if this had been asked before. This is just an example of some odds that I saw recently Fighter A (1.30) vs Fighter B (3.65). With this obviously, Fighter A is the people's champ and Fighter B is the underdog.

Regardless of who is bigger and undefeated record, let's say you have no idea who these fighters are because the names can't even be read like Ulshrkubyki vs Ykwehgyfvbh. If you only have $10 left in your sports betting account, would you go for the champ which you can only earn $3, or go for the underdog which if he got lucky can triple your money?

If the sports you are betting are fighting sports with short period of time on each match. Betting on underdog is not a bad idea because this kind of sports has always a possibility to turn around all the advantage of one fighter with just a single mistake or a lucky punch compared to other competitive sports like basketball, baseball and football that usually has a long match duration which team with a good players benefits the because they have enough time to show there skills, Even a tons of mistake can be recover on half time or so on.

I think betting as an underdog is not problem since it doesn't mean that if you are new to this you can't bet. As an underdog i think it could boost my confident since evertime first time i bet is i could win which is really good. Weather what sport is that or your are new or not as long as you bet it is okay
4215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 23, 2021, 03:14:36 PM
I had to change my location because I was no longer comfortable with how people around my neighborhood saw me. Many who know I trade Bitcoin started putting up some funny attitude each time I tried going closer to them. I had to change my location currently where I reside no one know I trade and this has made my relationship with people around me mutual

Wow, I've never seen anything like this before, but I believe that in terms of money, people could think devilishly. Whether you're making money from bitcoin or something else, if others hear about it, I believe you've received threats or they could be friends looking to take advantage of you. It's becoming increasingly difficult to flaunt your assets these days, because kidnappers and people who want to do bad things are also on social media, watching your every move. Nowadays, it is preferable to hide rather than to flaunt one's wealth.
4216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend your Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2021, 01:15:31 PM
honestly, i wouldn't sell my bitcoins for anything else except these 2 things, namely
  • urgent need
  • business development
So far, I have a business whose foundation is bitcoin. what I mean is, the business that I created has capital from bitcoins that I get from the internet. such as small inns, and others. So far, I still have plans to buy bitcoins from this venture.

Cool! Hoping i could build a business too . Mostly i really spend my bitcoin since i do have a family to feed which always i really need money. I am planning in saving my bitcoin and then invest into something that I still dont know. My goal now was to save and save and then if i do have enough money then i think thats the time i need to find a prospect business to invest to
4217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: October 23, 2021, 03:30:58 AM
There's a friend about Bitcoin last 2 years who have no interest in it but I was surprised when he came to me last week to tell me what he need to know about Bitcoin. I asked him why the sudden change of heart, he told me about the testimony he hear from someone and how he would have made enough profit effortlessly.

He's still a newbie. My question is, is there a way or link for to explain Bitcoin to newbies?

Apart from the forum rules and regulations is there a thread on this forum that explains in detail the whole concept of crypto currency on this forum?

It's not the same as making money using bitcoin. If you only want to learn about bitcoin, you can simply google it or watch one of the many tutorials available on YouTube. There are a variety of ways to earn bitcoin, the most well-known of which is purchasing bitcoin and holding it for a period of time. However, this method is risky and does not guarantee that you will profit. Try trading as well, but be aware that it is still extremely dangerous.
4218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 22, 2021, 06:44:50 AM
Bitcoin as a Decentralized Cryptocurrency has no physical structure just like the bank. It’s basically stored in a digital wallet/account being operated from a mobile device and its security embedded there also. In creating Defi wallet or block chain account no available section for next of kin or third party details Its always advised to keep Recovery Phrase details secret  in save location, these will help in recovering the wallet.

Literally bitcoin details remain secret and personal to me. If I continue to keep my details secret of what use would it be to me when I’m no more and my love ones can’t benefit from my bitcoin? Here is my question what happens to the bitcoin of someone who died and didn’t disclose his/her wallet details to anyone? please I need response . Would the bitcoin be abandoned in the wallet forever?? Would it be a waste of bitcoin?

If you die today, your bitcoin will remain in your wallet. Yes, it will be forever left in your wallet if you die especially if you didn't give your child a private key to pass your bitcoin. But if you will give your child the responsibility to access your account then your child will inherit bitcoin and not be burried on your wallet forever. Your child may earn through this to help your family.

I don't think it's a good idea to just hand over the key. The better, in my opinion, is similar to a will and testament. It's as if you'll put it in a box with a lock and hide it or put it somewhere out of the way and tell your family or children about it, but only say that they'll open it when you die, with no further explanations, and make a note that it's really, really important. But this is just my opinion if I have a bitcoin, and we all know that we will die at some point, so we should be prepared.

Isn't anyone talking about PUBG? So I just wanted to share my excitement for the PUBG Global Championship in November, which I believe will be won by the South Koreans once again. Or will the winner-take-all chicken dinner be served to the SEA? The most recent PGIS, in which Gen G was the most well-known, is really getting into the games. This tournament excites me because it features a team from my home country, which I am looking forward to seeing. It is hoped that they will be able to compete with other top pubg teams.
4220  Economy / Economics / Re: What is better - cryptocurrency trading or investing? on: October 21, 2021, 11:26:52 AM
I have been a day trader but want to know if it’s a good idea to hold bitcoin for long, whether it will be more profitable?

Both of them can be profitable, it depends on the market movement when it's stable day trader can get more profit rather than long term hodl. Day trader get more opportunities rather than long term hodl because they will see many possible high gains within the market, just make sure we dont miss it and always fill our bag when the crypto is in discount

Agree to this since most in trading there are ton of opportunities to earn big but the problem with this is it is more risky than holding because anything could happen with trading . I think if you are busy and like working i think holding the crypto is better since trading takes time to learn and really you need to have time to focus on it. As my self i prefer holding since i really dont have time in my hands now since i am working but if i do have time i do risk my money to trading.
