a rumor on another thread say they are down 66,000 btc

The ways of bitmain are mysterious to me (evil they are...tm bitmain) ..so you could be right..or they could just be 'toying' with us and dribbling this stuff out at odd times

(5am in USA) just to drive everyone mad. (it is what they do....tm bitmain) (evil never rests.....er again tm bitmain) etc etc evil empire (yawn)

Someone got on and "claimed' that only 350 were sold....(the dregs of units not paid from the first batch)
I suppose that is possible..he did not post any proof of this claim on the D3 thread here on bitcointalk.

Others stated that the 1st batch of D3's had NO limits and this batch 2nd batch yesterday had limits of 50 units...again
no proof..just walk folk have posted.

I am also 'assuming' for all these new asic miners of the 10g to 15g to 30g flavors WILL make a patch
to the firmware to do not just x11 as they do now but also x13 and x15. (Its what I'd do)

But yeah by my calcs it was like 52 min and they were all gone.....at least from the times folk posted

I have no plans to get more, than this 2nd batch bitmain d3. It looks to me all this 15 to 30x
the X11 hash will slap down around October 1st. Damn!

I have 'dubious' motives I have ONE Bitmain D3+ 15gh miner supposedly shipping Sept 15th.....(just got one with diff rise not brave at all...coward that I am)

So I guess....I'll be hoping for Bitmain's deadline to stick and Innsolicon's deadline to slip...

In my case....I'm looking at 50% to IRS if I hold coin I mined (talking LTC)

28% FED
10% STATE TAX
12% SOC SEC/MEDICADE (setup as self-employed)

thus...I can give 50% to IRS/state/etc taxes and keep 1/2 my coin mined (or xfered from LTC to BTC etc in USA they call mining income..the IRS is not pleased mining coin out of thin air)

or

I can figure that 50% is lost...to the IRS as a done deal..and get another 25% off in equip deduction applied to taxes this year...I know I'm gonna pay some in anyway
so that is 25% off in real $$$ towards this year's bill.

and thus my real risk on a Siacoin miner is 25% more then Just paying the tax man for the BTC in question to purchase one...ASSUMING I pay this year and it arrives
next year

odds..its all about odds..why you see folk double down on equipment ..in USA if I make 60k in coin I pay 30k in taxes. (could be less of a % but had a huge year)....if I buy 60k in equip I owe nothing and have equip to putter along and mine into next year

this goes for all equip I get this year ASIC wise etc ..no matter the flavor or ASIC or Coin mined. You get 100% off All equipment applied to your gross income.

thus having an 'interesting'  year

be careful what you wish for mining ..you may surely get it

Yeah. I almost did not get this one. But am desperate for equip to keep nice IRS man at bay.

to the guy posting they were out at the 54min mark

so what 52min they had some in stock

either bitmain is putting out small batches bit by bit ..or the big data hall guys also are in our boat
with no x11 stuff around..and just get on and order 500 at a pop

it is one reason or the other they went so frigging fast

but for me..I'd pay in LTC if anyone wants to get one in the future to be safe......

also, you have to kinda save each confirm page to a print file due to if bitmain screws up (often) that took

me 11 min or so ..had to put shipping address in and all that as a new account

I got mine in barely before the below guy posted (see below) that they were out (I had addresses and stuff to put in and forgot some check boxes)

this guy said they were out below at like the 53 min mark or 51min and 30 secs behind the first post guy above


I squeaked mine in at the 41 min mark or 39.5 min behind the first guy posting on here..so say 38 min

anyway ....less then 54 min and they were out ...damn..it pays to be paranoid.....but hard to go fast when you are printing each page to a file because you have to have
proof if bitmain screws up
